This is a really good point to make right now about 'Scientific Investigation.' The 'popular' term is called Cutting Edge.

When one believes in what they are doing and know that upto this point everything noted and calcuated have been near perfect. I 'nailed' the eye with Rita. I knew my skills were good. A true scientist never yields to popular opinion. A true scientist keeps their focus to understand where the change is and better formulate the calculations. This aspect of the 'truth' of the science of Global Warming was there to be recorded. In configuring an equation of understanding this is either a 'negative' or 'positive' depending on the focus. If one is tracking the storm as the focus this would be the counterbalance to it's location. It was very important for me to come to terms with what was going on to better understand and perfect or 'tune' by observatory skills as well as understand where an equation to define this lies. So, we come to an understanding. If a person is truly a scientist it isn't about being RIGHT/CORRECT. It is however about being precise. Posted by Picasa
