Bill Barr states there was spying on the Trump campaign.

Really?

\What are you going to do now, Trump? (click here for new article - thank you)

The true test of Trump's loyalty to the sovereignty of the USA occurred the minute he called on Russia to find 30 thousand emails. He trusted Russia when the FBI already tried to retrieve as much information as possible from the Clinton server. When Russia couldn't or wouldn't find them as they did not have the server, they hacked the Democratic candidate's emails and those supporting her candidacy.

Donald Trump was unsuccessful in his pleading to find 30,000 personal emails of Hillary Clinton and it was at that point he found it politically helpful to set up "The Deep State." That election theme is still being carried out by his corrupt administration in attempts to TURN UP SOMETHING. PLEASE. PLEASE, BILL BARR. TURN UP SOMETHING.

There is nothing corrupt about the Special Council Investigation and the FBI conducts noble work that places their lives on the line every day.

It isn't as though the publication of "dirt on Hillary Clinton" was legal.

This is the real reason Trump and Barr want to create a smoke screen. It is getting a little to close to home and who wants the base concentrating on this anyway?

Federal agents arrested Roger Stone, (click here) a longtime adviser to President Donald Trump, Friday on charges that he had lied to investigators about efforts by top Trump campaign aides to learn about emails the Russian government had stolen from his political rivals.

Special counsel Robert Mueller revealed the charges, including counts of obstruction and witness tampering, after FBI agents arrested Stone at his Florida home before sunrise.

The charges against Stone offer the first view from prosecutors of efforts by members of the Trump campaign to obtain information about WikiLeaks’ plans to release hacked documents that they believed would be damaging to Trump's 2016 opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton. Prosecutors have said the hacks were carried out by a Russian intelligence service. Prosecutors said one unnamed senior campaign official was "directed" to communicate with Stone about future releases of the stolen records.

"On multiple occasions, Stone told senior Trump Campaign officials about materials possessed by (WikiLeaks) and the timing of future releases," prosecutors wrote in an indictment unsealed Friday morning....

I have no sympathy for this. The power players, including Putin and his hackers tampered with the election of a free democracy. I never read one of the emails released on Wikileaks. I don't care what a campaign was saying. What I was interested in was having someone in the White House that actually cared about the country and emails never entered the picture.

Hillary Clinton has had both oars in the water all her life and she was by far the most qualified of the two candidates. Trump can't hold a candle to her credentials and know how. She has done incredible work and when she was Secretary of State, the plight of women and girls was illuminated for the purpose of change and uplifting of their status. She achieved great things. There was never a doubt about her qualifications.

The Justice Department (click here) has apparently prepared to indict Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, setting up a legal battle that could have broad ramifications for the investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election as well as the government’s prosecution of journalists and others who publicize national security secrets.

The revelation was an accident. Prosecutors pursuing an unrelated sex crimes case, against a man named Seitu Sulayman Kokayi, referenced Assange twice in a filing seeking to keep the complaint against Kokayi under seal.

The complaint, prosecutors wrote in the document, “would need to remain sealed until Assange is arrested in connection with the charges in the criminal complaint and can therefore no longer evade or avoid arrest and extradition in this matter.” At a separate point in the document, prosecutors wrote that “due to the sophistication of the defendant and the publicity surrounding the case, no other procedure is likely to keep confidential the fact that Assange has been charged.”...

The Attorney General Bill Barr is corrupt, corrupted and corruptible.

Barr should be up in arms about the violations of the emoluments clause, but, instead, he looks the other way. His huffing and puffing about spying on the Trump Campaign is simply fodder for the base and a smoke screen for the corruption he exudes. There is nothing decent or honest about William Barr. He and Trump deserve each other. Basically, Barr is Trump's new "Fixer."

The Department of Justice (click here) has adopted a narrow interpretation of a law meant to bar foreign interests from corrupting federal officials, giving Saudi Arabia, China and other countries leeway to curry favor with Donald Trump via deals with his hotels, condos, trademarks and golf courses, legal and national security experts say.
The so-called foreign emoluments clause was intended to curb presidents and other government officials from accepting gifts and benefits from foreign governments unless Congress consents.
But in a forthcoming article in the Indiana Law Journal, the Washington University Law professor Kathleen Clark reveals justice department filings have recently changed tack. The new interpretation, Clark says, is contained in justice filings responding to recent lawsuits lodged by attorneys generals and members of Congress....
This is William Barr's idea of national security. He is a horrible AG. There is nothing nice to say about this man. I said it before, he is a defense attorney. That is all he is. Trump's new lap dog.

What is more astounding is to realize how corrupt the Trump administration is and McConnell and Ryan did NOTHING to end it or prevent it. NOTHING. Even today, McConnell is cowering in his office trying to appease Trump with judicial appointments.

The Republican Party is the worst political party in the country and they have no respect for the USA Constitution or the Rule of Law. They can't even pick an Attorney General that can right Trump's ship. The White House is lost. The US House needs to carry forward its oversight, pick up the pieces of the negligence of the past Speaker and bring the truth to the American people.

I am looking forward to the US House receiving a full transcript and supporting documents of the Special Council report after the courts have ruled.

Trump and his administration is a disgrace.

Trump gave the entire country a reason to investigate him when he asked Russia to find emails and then published them on Wikileaks. Excuse me? That alone is a reason for everyone to question Trump's LOYALTY to the USA.

Now, why would Iran seek to bond so deeply with Iraqi Shi'ites? Hmmmmm? Could it have been Daesh? Yes.

The victory over Daesh in the region was sanctioned by Allah.

End of discussion.

Ostensibly, (click here) Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to Iraq was meant to deepen economic ties between the two neighbors, historically divided by political and sectarian enmities as much as they are connected by geography. The trip was also meant to demonstrate to the U.S. that Tehran and Baghdad would still do business with each other, despite the Trump administration’s sanctions on Iran.

None of this was especially remarkable: the Islamic Republic’s influence over Iraq has grown exponentially in recent years, underscored by Iran’s control of Shiite militias that have captured much of the state security apparatus and now loom ever larger on the political stage. No Iraqi government, much less one led by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, a weak Shia politician, would dare give a representative of the Iranian regime anything less than an effusive welcome.

Only one Iraqi leader could have kept Rouhani at arm’s length: Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, the country’s most revered cleric. But he didn’t. The audience he gave the Iranian president in the Shia holy city of Najaf says as much about Sistani’s own political adventurism as it does about Iraq’s subservience to Iran....

See there. That man is smiling. Smiling is a good thing. He is never going to wear a red tie. Never.

How did I know there was such a problem? It shows. It shows in big huge ways. The USA may be welcome in Iraq today, but, it should not push it. Iraq will never be the 51st state.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani (click here) capped his state visit to Iraq on Wednesday by meeting the country’s most respected religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani— a sit-down that has eluded previous Iranian presidents and American leaders alike.

The meeting signals to Washington that the religious, cultural and economic bonds that tie Iran and Iraq will not be undermined by a focused U.S. effort to isolate Tehran, analysts said. At the same time, it is likely to bolster Rouhani’s standing at home.

The session came after Rouhani and Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi announced agreements to boost trade, establish a rail link between the two countries and take steps to remove travel restrictions for tourists and investors. Abdul Mahdi also said Iran agreed to return to the original terms of a 1975 agreement on the sharing of an important waterway....

To be clear, the USA did not designate Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization, Donald Trump did.

Everything is politics to this bozo. This is about campaigns that Trump likes to play with. The intelligence and military told Trump that it was a bad idea. Let's embrace that reality for now.

If it was up to Netanyahu, he'd make Mother Hubbard a terrorist if she were from Gaza. So, let's put this mess into perspective. Next thing you know Trump will be naming members of the USA Congress as terrorists.

The name for Iran's Revolutionary Guard comes from the success of the Iranian Revolution that removed the Shah.

Iranian Revolution - Revolutionary Guard. Get it?

By Anne Gearan and Carol Morello

The United States (click here) moved Monday to list Iran’s elite military Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a foreign terrorist organization as the Trump administration looks for new ways to increase economic and political pressure on the regime in Tehran.

The designation marks the first time Washington has branded a foreign government entity a terrorist group and came despite warnings from U.S. military and intelligence officials that other nations could use the designation as a precedent against U.S. action abroad.

The announcement also comes one day before Israeli elections in which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking a fifth term by highlighting his close ties to the Trump administration and hawkish promises to battle threatening Iranian behavior across the Middle East.

“This action sends a clear message to Tehran that its support for terrorism has serious consequences,” President Trump said in a statement. “We will continue to increase financial pressure and raise the costs on the Iranian regime for its support of terrorist activity until it abandons its malign and outlaw behavior.”...

Trump is going to start another civil war and the rise of extremists again.

The beginnings of the Iraqi parliament was nothing but militias. Perhaps one might remember how difficult it was to bring all the GROUPS of people to the table of the Iraqi Parliament. Why should they? They were secure in their own enclaves and it was nonsense as far as they were concerned. Eventually, the benefits to representation within the Iraqi Parliament awakened the groups of protected people and they had their own elections, etc., etc., etc..

Kuwait City — The United States’ (click here) attempts to isolate Iran, including by punishing Iraqi militias and politicians who are supported by Iranian officials, has deepened tensions not only between Washington and Baghdad but also within the Trump administration.

American military and intelligence officials said the increasing pressure on Iraq risks infuriating its Parliament, including politicians linked to Iran, which could limit the movements of the 5,200 United States troops based in Iraq.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, whose confrontational stand on Iran has already strained ties with European allies, is leading the push for Iraq to confront its fellow Shiite-majority neighbor. He arrived in the Middle East on Tuesday to speak with officials in Kuwait, Israel and Lebanon about containing Iran.

Under plans recommended by Mr. Pompeo and some White House officials, the State Department would designate Iran’s military Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps as a foreign terrorist organization. It would be a first instance of the United States designating a unit of another government’s military as a terrorist group. American officials said it could put United States troops and intelligence officers at risk of similar actions by foreign governments....

The USA may think it is in good standing in Iraq, but, it's presence will become intolerable if they lean too much on the people of Iraq in their relationships with other countries (Holy Pilgrimages have no boundaries.). If the pressure on Iraq to conduct itself differently within the region brings about isolationism and westernization; the country will splinter and the fluidity of the lack of cohesion will breed extremism again.

There are probably elements of that going on now. The one thing that holds the region in cohesive governments is the right to live within the religious ties they have. Those religious ties do carry brevity in the region and should not be ignored. Currently, Iraq is already divided into three distinct provinces. It would take very little to completely dissolve the sovereignty of Iraq if those religious ties are severed.

There are lots of reasons for the oil area to simply begin their own revolution. I would not force the issue. There are always religious extremists willing to be radicalized in this region of the world. Holy men are important and what they say is even more important.

Stephen Miller is anti-American. Never throw the baby out with the bathwater. His stand is tp protect Trump as if there was something "Deep State" about Homeland Security.

All of Trump's hardline demands about Homeland Security was carried out under Nielsen. With Nielsen resigning it looks as though Trump is responsible for the inhumanity occurring at the USA southern border. Now, if Trump cleans house the speculation is there is more "Deep State" and Trump is not the issue, so much as the structure of the USA government.

April 8, 2019

White House senior adviser Stephen Miller (click here) wants to make sure that outgoing Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is only the first of a string of senior officials headed out the door.

Trump administration officials say that Miller, who played key a role in Nielsen's ouster, also wants the President to dismiss the director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Lee Cissna, and the department's general counsel, John Mitnick.

A senior administration official also said that under the law, DHS Under Secretary of Management Claire Grady, the current acting deputy secretary, is next in line of succession to be acting secretary. That means there are questions as to whether she will need to be fired as well in order to make Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan the acting DHS secretary, as Trump tweeted Sunday night...

Randolph Alles, current director of the Secret Service, is highly qualified to be in that position. Alles has previous credentials with border security and that is probably what Miller doesn't like. Trump is stupid in removing Alles. He has excellent credentials and there really hasn't been any reportable incidents under his watch.

This is what happens when an administration is hyperpolitical and makes changes under a "theme." The Trump Theme is "Deep State." So, with so many things going wrong in the administration of this president, the theme wins out to satisfy his base.

Ah, oh, the USA is FULL. Time to enforce birth control. Maybe Miller needs to find a speech writer if that is at all possible.

What is the definition of FULL?

President Donald Trump (click here) visited the southern border near the California town of Calexico on Friday. At a roundtable event, Trump expressed his concerned over the upsurge in illegal crossings, declaring that the “country is full” so migrants should “turn around.” The visit followed a week of tariff threats against Mexico and foreign aid cuts to Central American countries. California and 19 other states are suing the Trump administration over his emergency declaration to build a border wall.

The Trump administration is seeking to drive border security agencies in a “tougher direction,” according to a statement from the White House. Yesterday, Kirstjen Nielsen announced her departure from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As DHS Secretary, Nielsen’s tenure became the object of Trump’s criticism for her leniency towards immigration control, despite enacting “zero tolerance” policies at the southern border. Kevin McAleenan, Customs and Border Protection Commissioner, will serve as acting DHS secretary....

Donald Trump and quite possibly Stephen Miller are creating their own emergency at the border. Trump has now cut off all aid to the Northern Triad and more people are leaving for places north. This is ridiculous. The so called emergency at the USA southern border is created by the very people declaring it.

The United States (click here) is cutting off aid to the Northern Triangle, otherwise known as the Central American countries of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, the State Department told CNN Saturday, one day after President Donald Trump said they had "set up" migrant caravans for entry into the United States.

"We were paying them tremendous amounts of money. And we're not paying them anymore. Because they haven't done a thing for us. They set up these caravans," Trump said Friday.

"At the Secretary's instruction, we are carrying out the President's direction and ending FY 2017 and FY 2018 foreign assistance programs for the Northern Triangle," a State Department spokesperson said. "We will be engaging Congress as part of this process."

The government of Honduras responded to the announcement later Saturday, blaming "contradictory policies" by US agencies for the move....

The highest amount Guatemala has received from the USA was in 2016 in the amount of $297 million.(click here) That amount of money to a near USA country with the inhumane conditions of drug cartels is not an enormous amount of money.

The F-35 currently costs between $94 million (F-35A) and $122 million (F-35B) for low-rate initial production run 10, though sustainment cost projections are as big a concern as production costs for a program that is expected to cost $1.5 trillion over its 55-year lifespan.

No one can accuse Guatemala of building up it's military against the USA as Venezuela has under Russian oppression and demands.

AILSA CHANG, HOST:  The Trump administration (click here) is moving to end aid programs for three Central American countries - El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. This is in retaliation for the tens of thousands of migrants leaving those countries each month for the U.S. White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney went on CNN yesterday to defend the move.

(SOUNDBITE OF CNN BROADCAST)

MICK MULVANEY: The people say it's working, but the proof is in the numbers. It's not working well enough to help us solve our border crisis, and that's what the president is focused on....

...CHANG: Well, now President Trump is threatening to withhold hundreds of millions of dollars in assistance. What would that mean to El Salvador, to lose that money? How do you currently use those funds now?

CANJURA: You know, that money - that money isn't managed directly for our government. That money is managed and administrated by different companies, enterprise - enterprises, NGOs that work in the government - that work...

CHANG: And how do they spend the money?

CANJURA: ...In our country. They spend the money in different programs of cooperation that are related to safety, to youth empowerment, to security, you know, that has to be with the creating better conditions of living in our country in terms of improving the conditions for our young people, creating jobs, creating great opportunities, developing spaces of recreation for our people. So it's a very important cooperation for our countries. But we don't manage the money, as government....

Letter of intent to the International Monetary Fund (below). No one bothered to reassess the impacts of the 2008 Global Economic Crisis on country's the USA has sent aid to. If that reassessment had been conducted, it is possible the increase, albeit gradual under Obama, of migrants would have been averted.

It may be the programs need to be bolstered to return impact to the Northern Triad countries, or, they may need to have a more focused approach to bring about recovery of the failings of their governments with the economic collapse of the global market.

At any rate, the reason for the migration north from the Northern Triad is related to deteriorating economic conditions. To cut aid to these countries only increases the crisis. Does the USA actually want more failed governments this close to it's border? We already know the repercussions of this economic failure, but, the idea the USA is not going to participate makes these countries look to other sources of help. The withdrawal of these funds causes as much a national crisis for the USA, but, in a way that attacks national security in countries alienated from USA principals of freedom and democracy.

Guatemala―Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies for 2009–2010 (click here)

Chart to right (click here)

1. Over the past several years, Guatemala has made progress in consolidating
macroeconomic stability and in implementing important structural reforms. Reflecting this progress and favorable external conditions, the economy has been expanding at rates above historical records, averaging 4¾ percent in 2005–08. This outcome was attained without a deterioration of the underlying external and fiscal positions.

2. Volatile external conditions, however, are having a strong impact on the
Guatemalan economy. Up until mid-2008, higher commodity prices put upward pressure on inflation and the external current account deficit. We reacted timely, tightening monetary conditions, enhancing exchange rate flexibility, and strengthening the social safety net, while maintaining a prudent fiscal stance. The global economic and financial crisis, however, is now changing the scenario significantly, and our economy has started to feel its impact, through a deceleration of economic activity and tightening of domestic financial conditions.

3. The Guatemalan economy is well prepared to face the adverse external outlook. As the global slowdown is likely to be protracted and significant downside risks still remain, we are adjusting our policies to minimize the domestic effects of the external shock and to be better prepared in case downside risks materialize. At the same time, we remain committed to
addressing the medium-term development challenges facing Guatemala, and we will implement necessary reforms to ensure sustainable medium-term growth, continued progress in reducing poverty, and protection of the neediest....

The policies of previous administration work and they need to continue to work. Capture and release is the only way to handle these migrations. Detention is ridiculous on it's face. Trump is WRONG!

It would be better if the economics were better for these people, but, in pulling support for the Northern Triad the USA is creating it's own crisis and causing instability in USA national security.

...“I didn’t want to emigrate, (click here) but necessity obligated it. So he began to plan the trip. He and his wife were convinced that, even if they had to separate, migrating was the best option for the family....

...In the case of F and K, after turning themselves in to the Border Patrol, both spent 52 hours in detention before being released. The father left with an ankle monitor that allows authorities to track his movements. He must also report to the authorities every 15 days. He already has two jobs in Texas that allow him to pay off the coyote and send money to his family while his son goes to school and learns English....

Documents (click here) proved there were cover-ups: The industry knew about the dangers, but hid facts from consumers, and millions of pages described false advertising and suppressed scientific research. The details, once surfaced, not only revealed wrongdoing but changed public perception.

Lawsuits against cigarette manufacturers exposed crucial confidential records and completely transformed the tobacco industry.

Now, families of the victims from the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School hope to replicate the tactic: using litigation as a means to pry open the gun industry, employing the discovery process to unearth internal communications and examine the practices behind marketing and selling powerful firearms like the one used in the attack.

“We can find out what the Remington defendants have tried every step of the way to block in discovery,” said David Wheeler, whose 6-year-old son, Ben, died at Sandy Hook, about the gun maker that was among the companies named in the lawsuit...

The Connecticut Supreme Court (click here) dealt a major blow to the firearms industry on Thursday, clearing the way for a lawsuit against the companies that manufactured and sold the semiautomatic rifle used by the gunman in the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The lawsuit mounted a direct challenge to the immunity that Congress granted gun companies to shield them from litigation when their weapons are used in a crime. The ruling allows the case, brought by victims’ families, to maneuver around the federal shield, creating a potential opening to bring claims to trial and hold the companies, including Remington, which made the rifle, liable for the attack.

The decision represents a significant development in the long-running battle between gun control advocates and the gun lobby. And it stands to have wider ramifications, experts said, by charting a possible legal road map for victims’ relatives and survivors from other mass shootings who want to sue gun companies....

2005 was a good year for Cheney extremism. The national energy plan was passed that would allow the petroleum industry to ravage American lands causing seismic activity, polluted drinking water and American deaths and so was protections for gun sales.

...In 2005, (click here) when Congress passed the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, granting the gun industry immunity in state and federal court from civil liability in most negligence and products liability actions, the National Rifle Assn. called passage "vitally important" and fought hard for it. Although there are exceptions in the law, it has been broadly interpreted to preclude most negligence lawsuits. The result is that — unlike the makers of chain saws, knives, automobiles, drugs, alcohol or even cigarettes — gun manufacturers and sellers have a lesser obligation to act with reasonable care for public safety....

The practice of cronyism. The citizen gun industry has absolutely no place as a national security issue, if anything, it causes problems with national security. The only reason this legislation passed is because Republicans benefit from protecting those that give them money to stay in office.

The USA expects and receives loyalty and services within that loyalty from it's allies.

I AM SICK OF TRUMP EXPLOITING ALLIES FOR POWER AND RETURNING NONE IN RETURN.

Justin Trudeau is not to be ridiculed by Washington, DC ever again. The USA has a national security debt to the Prime Minister.

China is a communist country. So, is Russia. Russia was once part of the G8 which is now the G7. Someone really needs to answer the question, "Did any country in The West believe an invasion into Ukraine was a surprise?"

China is no exception. The Chinese communists have pushed their power on Vietnam and into international waters. These very aggressive moves are all part of the communists practicing brinkmanship. The West must respond.

The idea a communist country can simply come to the USA and exploit it for communist wealth is one of the most hideous idea I have ever seen the USA entertain. The idea China could simply be welcomed to USA lands and ports and consumer access because it would change any potential of danger to democracy.

China and Russia have a friendship pact as of 2001.

July 17, 2001
By Patrick E. Tyler

Russia and China (click here) signed a treaty of ''friendship and cooperation'' today, binding the two giants closer in the next 20 years and also committing them to oppose jointly much of the framework for international security that the United States is seeking to erect after the cold war.

Composed of 25 articles, the treaty joins Russia and China formally in opposing the United States' missile plans and places Russia more firmly behind China's claim of sovereignty over the island of Taiwan. It also strengthens military cooperation between Beijing and Moscow while rejecting the intervention that NATO undertook in 1999 in the Balkans to stop the killing of civilians.

The accord, sought by China, was concluded in a Kremlin ceremony with effusive gestures of camaraderie. The treaty bears the markings of a strategic pact that sets forth the deep concerns shared by Moscow and Beijing about a new world order dominated by the United States and its European allies. The agreement will quite likely be the center of discussion this week when President Bush and the leaders of the large industrial countries sit down with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia at a summit meeting in Italy.

One Russian commentator here described the treaty as ''an act of friendship against America.''...

Add to this mess, the FACT Trump absolutely loves Russia and Putin.

Deliveries (click here) of ship-to-shore container gantry cranes, which are transported by specialized heavy-lift vessels, rose slightly in 2015, but remain below the pre-recession peak....

...More than one-third of the deliveries during those peak years were to Chinese ports, which were scaling up rapidly to handle double-digit volume growth and rapid increases in ship sizes, PEMA said....

When Nixon went to China, it was to build a friendship between the two country and build mutual engagement in all sorts of things, including the arts, science and technology and trade. Some of the first trade exchanges by China and the USA were ornamental plants. Nowhere in Nixon's wildest imagination did he think the trade between China and the USA would hack away at the Middle Class and provide the USA as a place where Chinese goods dominated the market place. China not only dominates the market place, or should I say, has dominated the market place of the USA, but, there are Chinese gantry cranes in every country in the world. And don't even start about the lousy size of these ships.

When Nixon went to China is was in hopes that the quality of life of the Chinese people would improve. He hoped that China would appreciate the idea that freedom and democracy are profoundly good dynamics for people and their leaders. What the USA got instead was a communist country that exploits every dollar of the globe for it's products while undercutting any domestic rivals. China is not interested in trade, it is interested in controlling the world markets, oppressing the people in every country in the world and opening opportunities for any Russian aggression against The West.

Late President Nixon never expected China to become a national security threat. After all, plants don't fire bombs.

The idea the USA can simply look the other way while Wall Street and their CEOs rake in billions is grossly wrong. It was never intended and it has become a real problem for The West.

There is no good will between China, Russia and The West. The capacity for good will doesn't exist while communists want to end freedom and democracy. These countries are dangerous.

The West has to reassess it's ability to conduct trade with hostile powers and realize there can be reversal of relations with such countries until they change their ways and realize human beings come first and not their communist regimes. The people of China and Russia will ultimately be grateful when their regimes end the tyranny of control.

I don't see much of a trade relationship with China. The West needs to market the agricultural commodities once on it's way to China and Russia to the people within their alliances. The farmers no longer have to plant huge crops for export and the commodity prices will reflect that and agriculture might even receive parity for their crops.

Wall Street needs to get over it's greediness and realize the products they profit from are produced by people that are citizens of free and democratic countries. If China and Russia cannot move into the 21 Century and beyond without oppressive regimes, then we sure don't have to help maintain those regimes either.

The Canadian government needs to receive their citizens home as they will never need to be in China again. Prosecutions of Russians and Chinese breaking USA laws must go forward. The marketing to China and Russia need to be trimmed back. The West is going to need it's agricultural capacity on a hot planet.

The EXPECTATIONS of communist countries to move into the modern era has to be realized by them. The USA middle class cannot be the only middle class in the world sought after to provide markets with profit. It is not working well at all.

When the USA engaged in exchanges of culture and science is wasn't suppose to include corporate espionage.

Enough of this. The strength of freedom and democracies have been demonstrated with the 70th anniversary of NATO. Tell me that should not be envied by the world's government and their people. There is nothing wrong with expecting change from oppressive and dangerous regimes.

I WANT TO BUY CANADIAN LABELED CANOLA!

Remember Canada and their Canadian citizens that count on the USA as an ally?

Three, not one, but three Canadian exporters of canola seed is being effected by China's hissy fit over the arrest of a CEO groomed to carry out espionage to benefit China.

There can be no BUGS that cause problems with canola crops with obvious yields like this. China will be defeated in it's complaint. The proof of such complaint should have been obtained BEFORE the grain left the Canadian ports bound for China, not after the shipment was receive. China has piss poor quality control if it is not testing imports before they leave the port. Such poor business practices result in adverse problems with the suppliers. It is one thing to have a product rejected on it's domestic dock and return the product to it's origins, it is something all together to send a product to it's destination only to have it rejected and then seek to have it returned at the expense of the original source. That is nonsense. All products BEFORE export should be received by the customer that is the destination WITH NO RECOURSE available short of sincere fraud.

Ottawa - Chinese authorities (click here) have filed a quality complaint against a third Canadian exporter of canola, Canada’s agriculture minister said on Tuesday, potentially deepening a trade and diplomatic dispute between Beijing and Ottawa.

Early last month, China cited the discovery of pests as the reason for blocking shipments of canola seed from Richardson International. Shortly afterward, it expanded the ban to a second major exporter, Viterra Inc.

“We have been informed that there is a third company that received a non-compliance notification ... it does not mean that they are suspended,” Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau told the House of Commons trade committee, saying she could not identify the firm.

Beijing has been angry with Canada since the chief financial officer of Chinese telecom giant Huawei Technologies Co Ltd was arrested in Vancouver last December on a U.S. extradition request.

Richardson, Canada’s largest exporter of canola seed to China, said on Tuesday it would “not be a painless exercise” to find new international markets if Beijing’s ban on imports continued in the long term.

There is no such thing as a secure computer network, not even a military computer network.

I don't know how many times I have complained on this blog site that the F-35 was the most dangerous jet in the military and not because it was effective, but, because it was flown by computers. It isn't dangerous to others, it is dangerous to it's pilot.

There just is no reason that in REAL combat with other major companies these jets will perform to a standard that will result in USA dominance. I am a no vote for more and more USA weaponry to be computerized. The old jets did a heck of a job.

Fact: "Even combat-configured F-22s (click here) are not invisible to enemy radar, contrary to popular belief. Neither is any other tactical fighter-sized stealth aircraft with empennage surfaces such as tailfins—the F-35, PAK-FA, J-20 or J-31. That’s just basic physics."

State-run Chinese media is claiming that the People’s Liberation Army has been able to track the U.S. Air Force’s Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor stealth fighters over the East China Sea. While the Chinese report might be easily dismissed as propaganda—it is not beyond the realm of possibility. In fact—it’s very possible that China can track the Raptor. Stealth is not a cloak of invisibility, after all. Stealth technology simply delays detection and tracking....

...Typically, that resonance occurs when a feature on an aircraft—such as a tail-fin — is less than eight times the size of a particular frequency wavelength. Effectively, small stealth aircraft that do not have the size or weight allowances for two feet or more of radar absorbent material coatings on every surface are forced to make trades as to which frequency bands they are optimized for....
