The USA government today announced additional sanctions against Russia because it is a hostile and dangerous government. The sanctions are due to poisoning to end the lives of people residing in the U.K.

No one thinks Assange is a Russian agent. That is crazy. I suppose Assange was an USA agent when Snowden presented his material. Why would anyone believe Russia would directly deposit stolen DNC emails? War? Does anyone believe Putin is stupid enough to risk war?

The charges faced by Rep. Chris Collins are very different than those US Senator Bob Menendez faced.
US House Speaker Ryan is correct in that the US House Ethics Committee needs to examine all the facts and confer a decision regarding US Rep. Chris Collins.
US Senator Menendez was facing bribery and corruption charges in regard to a medical doctor he held as a friend for many years. The facts regarding the charges were more gray and not black and white. There was sincere doubt about the US Senator's guilt.
In this case with US Rep. Chris Collins there appears to be no sincere doubt. The facts as spelled out in the news conference are rock solid proof of phone calls linked to stock sales.
The US House Ethics Committee needs to examine the evidence and rule on these circumstances. I am fairly sure the law will win out in this case. It is hard to argue against evidence with a time stamp linked to other time-stamped transactions. I am curious if the FBI requested a FISA warrant. I think such warrants are possible even with government officials.
Also to be noted is that the FBI waited until after primary elections to bring this forward as not to unfairly overshadow the election process. I thank them for their discretion.
It doesn't matter if the Democrats would have a better outcome if this indictment was rendered sooner; the USA is within the movement of fair and accurate government with people elected that are credible and trustworthy. The agencies of the USA government should never overshadow an election AND if it does, should immediately fall into suspect by the electorate.

What is this Green Party stuff? I understand there are some Liberals that have their differences with Democratic policies, but, there is the issue of Russia attached to their presidential hopeful Jill Stein. She was at the same table as what’s his name, the General. Mike Flynn. What was that all about? Why is Flynn a pariah and she isn’t along with her party?
I don’t like the over exposure the USA has to Russia at this point in time. I think Americans have a right to be intolerant of any political candidate and their affiliates when Russia comes into plain sight.
There is a difference between peace talks and denuclearization to achieve a place where generations can enjoy life without fear of the other and succumbing to Russian influence in American politics. If any party has the right to bring objections regarding candidates that cozy up to corruption from foreign countries such as Russia the Democrats do.
We have witnessed a victory in a presidential election influenced by Russian interference through social media, through illegitimate monies through a Russian operative to hacking into a major party’s campaign websites, including the DCCC. Jill Stein was just as cozy with Vladimir Putin at that dinner table as Mike Flynn.
I think voters need to clearly understand there is real scepticism about the Green Party’s priorities. I am worried about the country and those in leadership that view Russia as a benign influence in American democracy. The USA has a generous spirit in the world, but, allowing other countries influence in our elections and governance is wrong. It is wrong for any USA leader to cast even a shadow of doubt in loyalty to allies. Jill Stein was wrong to be in that room and at that table. There are summits to carry out that level of diplomacy.

Perhaps Former Director Mueller needs to work on a Saturday with his team in order observe the Ellis Court Room for a day during the week. His very good prosecutors are being harassed by petty claims of facial expression by Ellis himself.
I think Ellis is in Giuliani’s back pocket for whatever reason and is trying to make a case for a mistrial due to prosecutorial misconduct in attempts to unduly influence the jury.

Chicago’s 72 injured and 17 dead caused a care crisis when families converged on the hospitals.
What occurred in Chicago is not about racism. Chicago is a prime example of the abuse of power at the end of a gun barrel. I believe some of what occurred was articulated by Mayor Emanuel in saying, “There is a shortage of values of right and wrong.”
I have not read a word about racism being at the center of the violence. I believe the Chicago police are still documenting the people and their conditions. There are no arrests made yet. The victims may be the perpetrators and if they survive will be charged and arrested.
Currently, gang wars are in the dialogue of the authorities and I am sure time will result in a clearer understanding of the reasons for the explosion of the powder keg. Not to be in denial about racism that may be involved in the violence, there are Hispanic and African American gangs in Chicago. Wisely, while the dialogue is going forward but there are still no solid conclusion.
The Chicago police have to survive the findings and the outcome of those findings. It might be some time before all the facts are known by the public. I trust the prosecutorial process to bring justice. I am confident the fact finding is diligently under way.
No conclusions can be drawn at this time. I am confident this was a surprise to Chicago authorities. That is a good place to start. We all know about the trafficking of guns into Chicago because there is no federal comprehensive law that controls interstate transportation of weapons.
I have to stress the fact the Department of Justice is under funded and gun purchase background information is falling through the cracks. Part of the investigation has to be the guns and how they got into the hands of murderers.
My sincerest sympathies for the families and friends of the victims. We wait anxiously for the facts to come forward. The safety of the citizens of Chicago hang in the balance. I suspect this violence is sequestered to the impoverished. That can create indifference and hopelessness in those in authorities. We cannot allow that to happen. It is not okay to have chronic violence in our cities. All citizens are important and all children are the hope of our country.
I look forward to the anticipated facts to realize what framed this tragic event. Please do not read racism into the current silence. The facts will be forthcoming and the truth is necessary to bring justice and policy to end any potential reoccurrence. A cover up is not possible.

This is not a popularity contest. The Trump Campaign broke USA law.
It is a matter of trust. The Russia meeting at Trump Tower that is. To me Donald Trump has not redeemed himself from an illegal meeting through to this latest episode with a Tweet.
Helsinki 2018 is evidence that there is a continuity between Trump and Russia. As is the meeting with Russian diplomats the day after Mr. Comey was fired. Trump provided classified information to those diplomats.
Donald Trump is determined to have the USA kneel to Russia, while defaming and disrespecting USA allies.
The Trump Campaign broke the law of the USA when they met with the Russians. The Campaign continues to deny they broke the law. They broke the law.
When President Obama wanted to impress voters to win the election he went to Germany. He wanted to make a speech at the Brandenburg Gate. He was told by Germany he was not yet President to make such a speech. He later during that trip spoke to a large German crowd. President Obama didn’t seek out dirt on John McCain. President Obama went on to adhere to the USA’s allies throughout his administration without question. Donald Trump is not a credible USA leader. His further dilussion is the Kushner Israel - Palestinian Peace Deal. They want to displace Palestinians and Netanyahu is currently blaming Egypt for.the problems in Gaza.
The list of offensive Trump behavior within the power of the Presidency indicates a man with no respect for the office or the power the people of the USA invests in that office. HE WASN’T GIVEN A CHRISTMAS PRESENT!

President Donald Trump said (click here) Friday that it really doesn't matter if the statement he helped craft to The New York Times about his eldest son's controversial June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russians was misleading.
Trump said whether the statement was misleading is "irrelevant."

The devastating fire tornado (click here) that spun up during the Carr Fire last week had 143 mph winds, according to a preliminary report from the National Weather Service Thursday. This is equal to an EF-3 tornado on the five-level Enhanced Fujita Scale.

The devastating fire tornado (click here) that spun up during the Carr Fire last week had 143 mph winds, according to a preliminary report from the National Weather Service Thursday. This is equal to an EF-3 tornado on the five-level Enhanced Fujita Scale.
Dan Keeton, the meteorologist-in-charge at the National Weather Service in Sacramento, said the fact that the weather service was able to see the rotation of the 35,000-foot-tall plume on its radar — well over 100 miles south of Redding — was significant....

I love my country and I love the freedom it affords me, but, it is not perfect and perhaps the problems in the USA only goes to prove people are perfect. I have never been this worried about the USA democracy more than today. It is more than worry, it is fear there is a power outside my country's democracy that really wants to harm it. I can't and won't be a part of that.
For what it is worth, newspapers and media have been a part of my everyday life for most of my life. My family was somewhat political, some enjoyed being involved in local offices, but, never once did I ever believe the news media of the USA was evil and more interested in lies than the truth. That kind of talk needs to stop.
Other than the fear of losing my democracy, which is real. It has never been so real; but, the real fear I have today started with the 3 and a half mile high fire tornado.
It has been my experience since diligently pursuing the truth regarding Earth's climate that a dangerous phenomenon begins with an introduction and then over time becomes the norm. That has happened with hurricanes and especially true with tornadoes. There are more tornado outbreaks every year as each one passes. That brings me to the fire tornado within the last month.
Triple-digit heat is real. It spawned that enormously dangerous tornado. But, if my observations hold true this is the beginning of a greater trend. That tornado melted metal buildings.
Remember these guys?

This is not just the USA. Every mayor in every city in the world needs to paint their city buildings white. No fancy silvery overlays of buildings that eventually burst into flames with the suns rays. Plain old ordinary white buildings. I never meant it more than I do today.

Bloomberg (click here) and former Vice President and founder of the Alliance for Climate Protection Al Gore today launched an NYC Service initiative, “NYC Cool Roofs,” to mobilize volunteers to coat the rooftops of participating buildings with reflective, white coating to reduce cooling costs, energy usage and greenhouse emissions. The Mayor and former Vice President helped NYC Service volunteers coat the rooftop of the Long Island City YMCA in Queens. The program will begin with a pilot from September 24th to October 9th, with teams of volunteers working to coat 100,000 square feet of rooftop in Long Island City, a neighborhood that exhibits higher temperatures than the citywide average due to the amount of industrial rooftops in the area....

No one said violent Americans weren’t listening.
No one has accused Americans of being particularly bright either. What is Trump going to say, “This announcement isn’t for Americans, but, the hackers which will facilitate greater power to me in 2018. Let’s face Americans can’t seem to grasp I am a treasonist, so Russian hackers are my best friends.”
It is interesting, isn’t it? Trump is screaming fire in a theater and no one in the FCC seems particularly interested. A federal agency is supposed to protect the public, not victimize it. Media outlets needed to file civil suits to protect their professionals from irrational statements by the President of the USA. Wave the flag 🇺🇸 and rely on long lived professional standards and policy. If everyone is doing and complaining about the same thing judges will be compelled to act.

I suppose there can be an appeal.
It is basically unbelievable that Governor Snyder can end the democracy in a city or town, poison the people, have people die of disease, reinstate an emergency manager law after a statewide referendum to end it and never be held responsible for any of those decisions in lawsuits where he was the ultimate culprit.
There is something Un-American about it. This is a civil suit and all the more reason to keep everyone responsible on the roster. Civil suits don't hold the highest degree of proof, but, only evidence that points to those liable.
Something is very wrong here.

A federal judge on Wednesday (click here) removed Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, a former mayor of Flint, along with the state government from a list of defendants in a class-action lawsuit over the Flint water crisis.
The lawsuit, brought by a dozen residents of Flint and three local businesses, involves 13 claims related to a decision in 2014 to pipe water from the Flint River, instead of water provided by Detroit Water and Sewerage.
The water from the Flint River was more corrosive than Detroit’s, and rife with lead and bacteria. By the time Flint reverted to using the DWSD, some residents of the largely African American city, including children, showed evidence of lead poisoning.
According the 128-page opinion by U.S. District Judge Judith E. Levy, “Lead poisoning caused plaintiffs to suffer from severe medical problems with their hair, skin, digestive system, and organs, as well as brain and other developmental injuries including cognitive deficits, among other issues.”
In the opinion, Levy dismissed the governor, former Flint Mayor Dayne Walling and other state and municipal officials from the suit....
...Different lawsuits related to the crisis are also pending in at least seven different state and federal courts throughout Michigan.
There is something very wrong here.

Detroit— The impact of Flint's lead-tainted water (click here) could last decades, affecting children whose development could be hurt and causing generations of residents to lose trust in government, panelists on the water crisis said Thursday.
Discussion included long-term health effects for children exposed to the lead-tainted water, response from Flint residents, the legal ramifications and what it will take to fully recover. Lead leached into the city's water after Flint switched its municipal source to the Flint River in April 2014.
Despite what officials say about the water being safe, residents remain leery of drinking tap water, said panelist Leonard Fleming, a Detroit News reporter who has extensively covered the Flint water crisis for the past two years.
“They don’t trust government officials," said Fleming. "It could take a generation or two for residents to trust the city and state again and its water."...

Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette (click here) has loaded his taxpayer-funded office payroll with Republican campaign activists in the run-up to his 2018 campaign for governor, a Free Press investigation has found.
Schuette also has used no-bid state contracts to pay more than $130,000 to two influential Republicans — one of whom has been active in the tea party movement that is important in winning a Republican primary, records show....

He feared for his life as a do - gooder. I have no idea if the facts were true or not. The point is Putin’s Russia is now more interested in America’s problems than their own. Remember now Trump’s the hero slaying all the dragons.
Does RT ever tell their viewership about Russian Birth Vacations in the USA while their hero American President is committing human rights abuses of people and their children fleeing from deadly drug cartels.
