Out of State prosecution is being pursued in states with legal and safe abortions.

Governor Charlie Baker (click here) on Friday signed a bill that broadens access to abortion in Massachusetts and helps shield providers from out-of-state prosecution, delivering into law an expansion of the state’s reproductive rights protections a month after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

Baker’s office announced he had approved the legislation just days after the Legislature sent it to him, releasing a picture of him signing it alongside Senate President Karen E. Spilka, an Ashland Democrat.

The second-term Republican supports abortion rights and has sought to protect providers through an executive order he signed last month in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to end the constitutional right to an abortion — elements of which were included in the legislation he signed Friday....

I think the provisions protecting doctors is important.

...The bill also seeks to help shield providers from out-of-state prosecution for procedures that are legal here, such as abortions and gender-affirming care.

Among other changes responding to last month’s ruling that allowed states to outright prohibit abortion for the first time in 49 years, the legislation also makes emergency contraceptives such as Plan B available in vending machines and requires medication abortion availability at public colleges and universities, lawmakers said....

Samuel Alito is not Supreme Court caliber.

DO NOT apologize to Alito. He is a pompous ass. 

He has no right to assail foreign dignitaries or leadership.

He is promoting his own cock-eyed political views. He is a Christian nationalist as is his peer Coney-Barrett, probably include in that Thomas.

I guess if one has to make history notice judicial decisions, this is one way of doing it. The USA Supreme Court Justices live in cloud city. They have no clue about the law and how it applies to American lives. They are out of touch and never wonder why honorable people in other countries would criticize their decisions. They don't see they are the problem.

These folks, no different than Virginia Thomas, understand power, but, not its' application to American lives. 

Those that came to the defense of Americans should expect to receive an answer from Alito, not criticism. He is completely self absorbed. He does not belong on the Supreme Court.

The Gay Community needs to be able to ask for prioritized vaccines.

Monkey Pox is not COVID. Not even close.

It has no variants.

Vaccines work if people choose to get one.

Physical contact will pass the virus on to another person. The virus appears to be a "Gay Disease" simply because it was passed on between Gay partners. This is not HIV. 

Anyone that makes physical contact with a person infected with the virus will contract it. Gay or straight, the virus can be passed on.

Monkeypox virus (click here) is an enveloped double-stranded DNA virus that belongs to the Orthopoxvirus genus of the Poxviridae family. There are two distinct genetic clades of the monkeypox virus: the central African (Congo Basin) clade and the west African clade. The Congo Basin clade has historically caused more severe disease and was thought to be more transmissible. The geographical division between the two clades has so far been in Cameroon, the only country where both virus clades have been found.

Monkey Pox is a known infective. It is not new. Someone traveled to these areas and brought the virus back home.

President Biden might want to prioritize the Gay communities reporting higher incidence of Monkey Pox for vaccines. I think that is reasonable. Once brought under control the entire country will not necessarily need the vaccine.

Russia needs to pursue peace and not more and more destruction.

Kherson is very near other populous areas. Putin has no respect for human life. This is probably a realistic report. The more Putin loses, the more likely he will become extreme. There are also reports of more human rights violations by Russian soldiers filming Ukraine captives being castrated. Russia is completely out of control. They are grasping at any power play available to them.

This entire region is sensitive to a widening war. Odessa is very near Moldova. The red dot is Kherson. Putin would be a mad man to release nuclear material near Crimea. That is only the war shoreline. The Black Sea has shoreline along Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Georgia.

Russia is not conducting a winning war. Russia can only hold small areas at a time. When they seek to increase their so called victories, they loose control of other areas. It is time for Russia to become realistic about this entire war into Ukraine. They are chronically losing their status in any given area when moving into another area. Russia needs to end their hostilities.

Putin was right to keep these invasions secret if he wanted his politics to survive a war he could never win. I think the Russians knew they didn't have a chance to win when they started. Now that Putin's secret is out with returning dead soldiers he is more and more desperate to gain what he considers wins. This war is not being waged in any way that makes sense. Ukraine is a political issue for Putin, not a need for Russia. Ukraine wanted to trade with Russia. This is an ego driven war. It has nothing to do with Russian sovereignty.

The reason Putin stated he would use nukes, is if Russia was threatened. NO ONE IS THREATENING RUSSIA. Russia is misinterpreting a defensive stance with a threat. No one is invading Russia. If Putin is misdirecting his decisions deliberately to state Russia is under attack that is simply a strategy to use weapons of mass destruction. No one, not even Ukraine, is seeking to invade Russia. China needs to understand that it's communist ally is not under threat. This was a war of choice, not need or protection of the people. This is a political choice for Putin. It can be stopped at this very moment if Russia would stop.

We know Russian military is capable of being reckless. The immediate area of the Black Sea theater is a concern. I am fairly certain normal ship traffic is being sacrificed for this aggression by Putin.

An expected counter-attack (click here) against Russian forces in southern Ukraine has increased fears that the Kremlin could resort to using nuclear weapons, according to a British expert.

Ukrainian forces were said yesterday to be gaining momentum near the occupied city of Kherson.

Air strikes have destroyed several bridges leaving the remaining Russian troops cut off.

As Russian military doctrine prescribes tactical nuclear weapons when its forces are facing defeat, concerns are growing that Vladimir Putin could use them. 

Last night, chemical weapons expert Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon said: 'The spectre of Russia using tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine is no doubt a growing concern in Nato capitals....

This is the inhumane war by Putin. It is crazy. Citizens are suffering. There is no dignity to find to allow Putin some rational reason. This is genocide. There is never dignity in these wars. 

Double digit numbers of those dead in Kentucky.

There is severe flooding in Las Vegas, too. No deaths reported.

Hoover Dam received monsoon rains.

The people in the Kentucky facing the flooding may need airlift if there is no escape from the flooding. My concern is that with the rapid rainfall, people are trying to escape rising creeks that probably have never risen like this before. They will run into flash floods of all available roads. They need to stay in one place and helicopters will have to airlift them out. Local authorities won't be available to help with direction of the people if communities are in disarray.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (click here) said Friday morning that the death toll has risen to 15 after torrential rains flooded Eastern Kentucky, destroying hundreds of homes and wiping out entire communities.

Search and rescue teams, with the help of the National Guard, were searching for missing people Friday after record floods washed through the region. The governor declared a state of emergency.

Beshear told the Associated Press before touring the disaster area that the 15 dead in Kentucky includes children, “but I expect that number to more than double, probably even throughout today.”

More rain was expected Friday and into the weekend after more than 6 inches of rain fell in some counties Wednesday night into Thursday. Meteorologist Brandon Bonds with the National Weather Service in Jackson said it won't take much more rain to "cause even more damage." A flood watch or warning was expected to stay in effect for many of the areas that saw the worst of the flooding....

If China can't handle a space project, they shouldn't do it. This isn't the first time.

This is ridiculous.

An out-of-control Chinese rocket booster (click here) will hurtle back to Earth on Sunday – and could hit land in populated areas, experts say.

The falling space debris is the result of the Long March 5B launch on July 24 to deliver the Wentian experiment module to China's Tiangong Space Station.

Weighing around 22 metric tons (about 48,500 lb), it's set to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere at 00:24 BST on Sunday, give or take 16 hours either way, according to Aerospace Corporation.

The US nonprofit, which is tracking the debris, has highlighted a huge area of Earth where the debris could fall, but said it's 'still too early' to know exactly where....

Yesterday, Senate Republicans voted down the health plans needed for our veterans.

This is a burn pit the USA Defense Department uses for any kind of waste. Those soldiers standing there are sick now. I guarantee it.

When all kinds of waste is dumped into a pit and lit to permanently dispose of it, there is no permanent disposition, the soldiers have lingering effects in their lungs and it never leaves.

In June 2014, (click here) VA launched the Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry in response to concerns that Veterans were experiencing a range of respiratory illnesses possibly associated with exposure to burn pits. The registry is open to many Veterans and active-duty Servicemembers who deployed to various locations. This fact sheet describes why you should participate in the registry and how it might help uncover links between exposures and certain health conditions.

The action to protect these soldiers has been in existence for years. Nearly a decade. But, the monies to support that effort has to be passed by the Congress regularly since the size of the fund is not fixed. 

Yesterday, Republicans for no real reason except hubris for the egos in the chamber voted the funding down and placed our veterans at risk for worsening disease. We know the disease exists, it is a matter of getting funds to effectively treat the disease and work as hard as we can to prevent their deaths.

There is NO EXCUSE for Republicans to deprive these soldiers of their support. 

Besides the funding needed for the health of these soldiers there needs to be separate funding for research and development of debris incinerators that can travel with the military units. There is no reason for this disease. The toxins have to be handled and waste is a problem, but, the USA military can bring all sorts of large and heavy equipment to places where soldiers are stationed all around the world. There is simply no reason for the disease in the first place.

But, to return to the funding for the health fund for the veterans the Republicans have no excuse. They are lying to pretend they did the right thing in the USA Senate while they were pumping their fists in joy of the failure of the bill. They are all ego and they lie to justify any action they take. The Republicans are not putting our veterans first. It is time for the US Senate to have elected officials that prioritize the people and not their own interests. Yes, stroking their egos is definitely their own interests.

The paradigm shift to end the climate crisis can't come soon enough for many Americans.

A new round of catastrophic flooding (click here) has struck the central United States, this time in the Appalachian foothills of eastern Kentucky, swamping communities and leaving an untold number of people missing or trapped — with at least three people dead.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) called the event “one of the worst, most devastating flooding events in Kentucky’s history” Thursday morning and said “we expect double digit deaths” at a news conference midday.

“I do believe it will end up being one of the most significant deadly floods that we have had in Kentucky in at least a very long time,” he said....

Moscow Mitch sincerely is the grim reaper.

The family of an American sentenced to 14 years at a hard labor camp in Russia (click here) fears that he has been given what amounts to a "a death sentence" and is calling on the Biden administration to designate him as wrongfully detained, which would trigger formal diplomatic efforts to secure his release.

American citizen Marc Fogel worked for nearly a decade as a history teacher at the Anglo-American School in Moscow, where children of US diplomats were among his students.

"He is a very, very much beloved teacher, an award-winning teacher," one of his sisters, Anne Fogel, told CNN. "He is an incredibly enthusiastic person, has an amazing zest for life. And that has made him an outstanding teacher, and his students have loved him."

He was arrested 11 months ago at an airport in the Russian capital, where he was returning for the school year, after traveling into the country with cannabis....

I have to wonder how many Ukrainians Marc Fogel is meeting.

Americans need to recognize Russia as a rouge country. It is not a good place anymore for any American interest.

How the heck were these people recruited to Russia? Paul Whelan went to Russia for a wedding. He was arrested as a spy. It is all nonsense. Americans need to realize every one of them are prey to Russia's global gambit for power.

This isn't just the USA. This is only part of a global realignment for the future.

The reason there is a far more severe change in the economy globally is because the changes occurring is happening in a contracted time line. The contraction of the economy is due to transition in a very difficult time on a global scale.

Americans decided to find a better paying job at the onset of the pandemic while the world was not "normal." Those educational goals are still playing out.

But, there is a greater dynamic. Life before the generous funding from the USA Congress at the onset of the pandemic many Americans believed the Working Poor was their life for the rest of their lives. They found out there is a better way for them and their families. I don't care what the conservatives say about the monies for the pandemic they BELIEVE caused a so called inflation, it was very, very worth it when defined as quality of life for generations to come.

Additionally, the First World is finally taking responsibility for the climate crisis. Their economies are transitioning. It is interesting to realize how a stupid Russia in Moscow is opening wounds that serve the future the best. Putin thinks he is hurting the world, what he is doing is not disturbing so much as enlightening and pushing the global community in different decisions.

Just think about it a minute.

Germany is probably the most challenged of NATO when it comes to securing energy. There are now paradigm changes occurring that should have occurred two decades ago. There is power in money and it has held the world hostage to an economy that was killing the very planet we have as a home. That can't happen anymore.

The global community is preparing for the future and there absolutely is contraction of the old world to make room for the future. Our children and young people more than deserve that and NEED it to secure tomorrow for them and their children. There can no longer be the indulgence of the petroleum industry. Look, Saudi Arabia have changed everything in preparing for the future of a no carbon emission economy. The Saudis know that their wealth of oil is not the future. The rest of the world needs to see the future as the Saudis already do.

Get over this idea that bad economic news based in the old world is horrible when it is actually good news.

The U.S. economy (click here) contracted for the second straight quarter from April to June, hitting a widely accepted rule of thumb for a recession, the Bureau of Economic Analysis reported Thursday.

Gross domestic product fell 0.9% at an annualized pace for the period, according to the advance estimate. That follows a 1.6% decline in the first quarter and was worse than the Dow Jones estimate for a gain of 0.3%.

Officially, the National Bureau of Economic Research declares recessions and expansions, and likely won’t make a judgment on the period in question for months if not longer.

But a second straight negative GDP reading meets a long-held basic view of recession, despite the unusual circumstances of the decline and regardless of what the NBER decides. GDP is the broadest measure of the economy and encompasses the total level of goods and services produced during the period....

The insurrection of January 6, 2021 was egregious.

The wrong doing of Richard Nixon was a hangnail compared to January 6, 2021. The Department of Justice does not issue pardons. That is the role of the President of United States of American. 

The insurrection on January 6th manifested as a coup against the peaceful transfer of power whereby Donald John Trump was leaving office. The entire coup was inspired and protected by Trump. Yes, protected. He never called the units of National Guard needed to END THE INSURRECTION. 

The January 6th Committee has unearthed the truth. The Department of Justice has no right to look the other way for any of those involved in attempting to assail the peaceful transfer of power EXPLICITLY DIRECTED BY THE USA CONSTITTUION.

'The assault against the USA Constitution on January 6, 2021 was carried out by a mob protected by Former President Donald John Trump sitting in the dining room off the Oval Office. He ensured their safety in assailing the Capitol with dearly few police to stop self-trained assailants in the name of the White Supremacists/Nationalists and all those that entered the Capitol building.

Those protected self-trained insurgents provided for the death of Capitol Police Officer due to the extreme nature of his service to the country that day. He died because the National Guard was never called. Those skilled insurgents provided such distress by other officers they committed suicide. The assault these officers experienced was overwhelming and they could not recover from it.

The protected insurgents were so dedicated they were willing to die in the name of their protector, Donald John Trump. One insurgent, a woman did exactly that in the face of a obviously armed officer inside the Congressional Chamber. Ashley Babbitt died because she was determined to carry out the coup. She was a military trained soldier now a civilian. She took her training to a level to carry out a coup. She entered that broken window expecting any bullet that would come from that gun would miss her and she would be successful in opening the door to allow the mob into the chamber.

Realizing the dedication within the insurgent coup illustrated by Ashley Babbitt, there was a gallows outside the Capitol building waiting for legislators conducting a constitutional peaceful transition of power. The mob walked through the Capitol building seeking out legislators by name for take to the gallows. The protected insurgents were going to kill people and they were dedicated to do so. They were going to kill people in the name of a coup to maintain Donald John Trump in the White House to continue his illegitimate presidency.

It wasn't until General Milley and/or Vice President Pence were successful in sending in the National Guard to end the insurgent coup that lives inside that building were safe. It would be hours later the Vice President would continue the peaceful transfer of power with the National Guard inside the building and surrounding the Capitol building. 

The truth exposed by the January 6th Committee was extremely revealing of the impetus of the insurrection, the insurgency itself with participants making compelling testimony and what ended the insurgency.

The Department of Justice HAS NO RIGHT to minimize the seriousness of the entire dynamic that played out on January 6, 2021's insurgency and who in the White House consented to it and had no reverence for life within that violence he expected to protect his authority as president of the USA. 

The only person in the USA that can stop the process of law regarding Donald John Trump is the President of the United States of American, Joseph Biden. I strongly suggest the Department of Justice get on with any and all aspects of the prosecution of all those responsible for the violence and deaths of good and honest Americans serving to protect the lives inside the Capitol building who were there to carry out the power of the USA Constitution in the peaceful transfer of power.

While his victims struggle day to day, Snyder is doing just fine.

Called SensCy, the Ann Arbor-based cybersecurity start-up is designed to help small and medium-sized organizations, known as SMOs.

"SMOs find cyber solutions to be expensive, complicated, and time-consuming, unlike larger organizations who might have greater resources,” Snyder said in a news release. “SensCy’s sole focus is to improve the cyberhealth of small and medium-sized organizations, ensuring that they are prepared to respond should a cyberattack occur. We offer our clients an affordable, easily understood solutions and the personal attention required to create a proactive cybersecurity culture to help mitigate their risk.”...

Sensy is a company online that can be found on LinkedIn, but, it isn't the same company. I would never trust a computer security company associated with Snyder.

Washington - The Biden administration (click here) has offered a deal to Russia aimed at bringing home WNBA star Brittney Griner and another jailed American Paul Whelan, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday.

In a sharp reversal of previous policy, Blinken also said he expects to speak with his Kremlin counterpart for the first time since before Russia invaded Ukraine.

The statement marked the first time the U.S. government has publicly revealed any concrete action it has taken to secure the release of Griner, who was arrested on drug-related charges at a Moscow airport in February and testified Wednesday at her trial.

Blinken did not offer details on the proposed deal, which was offered weeks ago, though it is unclear if it will be enough for Russia to release the Americans. But the public acknowledgment of the offer at a time when the U.S. has otherwise shunned Russia, reflects the mounting pressure on the administration over Griner and Whelan and its determination to get them home....

Under intense pressure to deal with the COVID-19 crisis, (click here) state leaders across the country needed solutions and quick results in early 2020 to slow the spread of the coronavirus and repair battered economies.

And long-standing connections seemed to pave the way to those goals in a handful of Republican-led states.

Thanks, at least in part, to its ties with high-ranking Utah politicians, four companies within the tech business community in greater Salt Lake City got their first no-bid contract on March 31, 2020.

That deal was just the start. Those companies would within a year leverage their connections to sign deals that would pay them at least $219 million in five GOP-led states. Two of the companies would donate more than $1 million to Republican campaigns after getting those deals....

Ethical investigations need to go forward and legal investigations for influence peddling. 

It is a very different thing to bring competent manufacturing to a national health emergency and then provide enormous political dividends to the people in office. No bid contracts can work if it is understood these are premier manufacturers that can immediately provide much needed products, but, that does not give permission for donations for more of the same. More of the same comes with fulfillment of contracts and benefits delivered to Americans.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones (click here) repeatedly “lied and attacked the parents of murdered children” when he told his Infowars audience that the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting was a hoax, an attorney for one of the victim’s parents told a Texas jury on Tuesday at the outset of a trial to determine how much Jones must pay for defaming them.

Jones created a “massive campaign of lies” and recruited “wild extremists from the fringes of the internet … who were as cruel as Mr Jones wanted them to be” to the families of the 20 first-graders and six educators who were killed in the 2012 attack on the school in Newtown, Connecticut, attorney Mark Bankston said during his opening statement as Jones looked on and occasionally shook his head....

Millions of Americans tune into media services all based in falsehoods and flat out lies. This is not entertainment, it is legitimizing propaganda as if the truth. It is not.

Alex Jones in his Info Wars is not about a conservative point of view. At the very least it is tabloid wars and not one that is struggling against massive "lamestream media."

There needs to be warnings on all these services. They are very used to propagating lies and advancing political candidates based in lies. Some might call that politics, but, it is not. Politics is about alternatives and choosing the best person to govern. Voters aren't supposed to be violated in their basic understanding of life.

The Infotainment Media is often viewed as a legitimate form of information to be counted on to bring the truth.

THAT IS FRAUD.

When Infotainment crosses the line of decency in a way that inflicts pain on grieving parents, it is way over the lie and causes damage. There is nothing decent about Alex Jones. He lies without any conscience as to what it may be doing to others. Infotainment is engaged in profound fraud and causes damage.

The FCC should never see this as a legitimate use of the First Amendment. Our laws demand THE TRUTH when making court testimony. The press is a form of a trial court. The press is expected to be honorable and carry the truth. Basically, these entities, including Jones, use that presumption to deceive the public without notification. There isn't a day that goes by the infotainment industry isn't engaging in lying in a political method. They are always tuned into the American people to lie for a strong leaning into the right wing political theme. Never is their representation of infotainment favoring all political leanings. Never.

Alex Jones practices some of the most egregious method of infotainment and does nothing that benefits the public. The underlying theme of these forms of media is adverse to democracy.

I might add, besides causing Sandy Hook parents unnecessary pain in their profound loss of a child, Jones contributes to the underlying motivations that occurred on January 6th.

The is the exactly wrong approach of militia groups.

This is a security issue. There are no background checks and a GROUP of people can carry out looting to say the least. What next, uneducated and uncertified EMTs.

Firefighters are well trained (click here). Volunteer firefighters still have to go through training and security checks. No one needs uncertain loyalties of militias among firefighters. If trained personnel begin to feel insecure in their work, they will leave.

Firefighting is not rehab.

If militias want to rehab their public profile, THEY NEED TO DISBAND.

Hunt clubs come to mind. No war machines needed!

Mariposa - Nearly 3,000 firefighters and first responders (click here) have flooded the Sierra foothills of Mariposa County battling the explosive Oak fire, but it’s the guys in camouflage fatigues and surplus war vehicles that have most alarmed some evacuees and monitors of extremist groups.

As fire crews made headway Tuesday against a blaze that has roared through 18,000 acres, destroyed 25 homes and forced thousands to flee their homes, the presence of a self-described militia whose members handed out food and offered help to evacuees has raised concerns among some.

Calling itself the Echo Company of the California State Militia’s 2nd Regiment, the group had set up a field kitchen off Highway 140 recently and told the Merced Sun-Star it was offering food, water and a place to stay for those in need. Online, the group posts videos of members training with rifles, shields and other equipment, along with the group’s tagline: “We who dare.”...

The Chinese - India border is a problem. India is finding it difficult to separate from it's communist neighbors.

A Chinese aircraft (click here) came very close to Indian positions right on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh in the last week of June. The Indian Air Force (IAF) reacted quickly and activated its assets to tackle any possible misadventure, top sources in the government told India Today.

China looks to such dependency as weakness and begins border issues. I doubt there was ever an agreement to border incursions and spying.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi (click here) met with his Indian counterpart and the national security advisor Friday to expedite the disengagement of thousands of Indian and Chinese forces involved in a tense face-off and occasional clashes along their disputed border, an Indian official said.

A fierce brawl in June 2020 exploded into hand-to-hand combat with clubs, stones and fists that left 20 Indian soldiers dead. China said it lost four soldiers in the clash.

“I would describe the current situation as a work in progress, obviously at a slower pace than desirable,” India’s external affairs minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, told reporters. He was referring to 15 rounds of talks between military commanders as well as diplomatic contacts between the countries to end the impasse.

Friday’s talks with Wang focused on expediting the disengagement of troops in friction areas and the possibility of de-escalating the situation, he said. “The frictions and tensions that arise from China’s deployment can’t be reconciled with the normal relationship between the two neighbors.”...

Jakarta, Indonesia - The Chinese military (click here) has become significantly more aggressive and dangerous over the last five years, the top U.S. military officer said during a trip to the Indo-Pacific that included a stop Sunday in Indonesia.

Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the number of intercepts by Chinese aircraft and ships in the Pacific region with U.S. and other partner forces has increased significantly over that time, and the number of unsafe interactions has risen by similar proportions.

“The message is the Chinese military, in the air and at sea, have become significantly more and noticeably more aggressive in this particular region,” said Milley, who recently asked his staff to compile details about interactions between China and the U.S. and others in the region....

ISIS is still a virulent enemy.

Repatriation is directly oppositional to the effort to oppress any migration into ISIS in it's height of it's deadly campaigns. Perhaps the success of repatriation relies on a recertification of citizenship, including, proof of denouncing the schism of ISIS.

Citizenship can demand a repatriation education including trade training to provide independence and away from dependency. Repatriating children always holds the prospect of temporary citizen parents while parents complete proof of denouncing the schism away from Mohammad into a strange and violent form of a religion alien to religious leaders.

Al Hol, Syria — Viewed from a helicopter, (click here) this enormous camp that holds the wives and children of dead or captured Islamic State fighters was a sea of white tents against the desolate landscape of drought-stricken northeastern Syria.

From the ground, the human dimension of this tragedy came into focus. As a convoy of armored vehicles made its way up a dusty road, children emerged to stand at the fence amid garbage. Some waved. One boy, in a faded “Star Wars” shirt, stood with hands clasped behind his back. Another, in an oversize polo shirt, held aloft a star folded from paper.

Al Hol is a detention camp for people displaced by the ISIS war — guards do not let residents walk out its gates. About 93 percent of the 55,000 people here are women and children, about half under 12 years old. While most have Iraqi or Syrian mothers, thousands come from about 51 other countries, including European nations that have been reluctant to repatriate them....

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

The Democrats need to be sure the bureau has all the clout it needs now that The Fed is increasing interest rates. Guaranteed consumers did not read the fine print that allows no interest consumer debt can be increased as necessary.

Housing foreclosures are increasing back to average levels before the pandemic. All that can be exploitive by the financial institutions and consumers will need a reliable federal agency to turn to if injustice is realized.

Courting Insurrection

When realizing the "Christian Nationalist (White Supremacist/Nationalist)" philosophy in the USA, remember the word, "Preordained."

January 7, 2021 the conversation between Republicans went like this, "We are finally rid of the guy, but, we still need the people that voted for him." So, with that McConnell and Graham and McCarthy came out and denounced everything the day before.

Trump was sitting in the White House listening to the "gutless wonders" and laughed. He knew what they were thinking, they were glad they could go back to being "Regular Republicans" in a way they always understood. They could go back to betraying those that voted for them to keep the Electoral College victories because they were the only party that would keep their guns legal and plentiful.

Well, McCarthy went to Florida to kiss the ring because Trump threatened to replace everyone of them and their traitorous ways. Not that they betrayed the USA Constitution, they betrayed the voters that assembled to have them win their elections and keep their "Electoral College Presidencies." With that reality the "Regular Republicans" placed themselves outside the measure of the "Rule of Law" and became a governance of the "Rule of Men." Enter the strongman philosophy with one exception, they backed Ukraine. In that and a vote to place more standards on gun sales and more money for mental health in the USA the "Regular Republicans" began to find their way back to stand up for the end of abortion in the USA.

The extremism of the Republican Party has been groomed over many, many decades. It is sort of like Putin and his extensive plans through his entire life to keep communism alive in the Soviet Union and when that failed he would keep communism alive in Russia. Now that is he aged he can't fail in his life long mission. But, alas that is getting away from the issue of abortion in the USA.

When we think of the extremism of the Republican Party and the fact they demand NO ABORTIONS ever in the USA it is because they are aligned with the Christian Nationalists. Christian Nationalists believe in preordained outcomes. It is an ancient belief system before modern day medicine. Preordination would exclude all forms of abortions for the sake "god's will." So, that ten year old girl was preordained to give birth to a baby in her uterus because the Christian Nationalists demand it! 

Preordination is a CULT BELIEF SYSTEM. I believe Associate Justice Barrett-Coney is a cult member, isn't that right? Didn't the radicalism find it's balance in the US Supreme Court with her addition? So, the extremists that have been "at this" all these many years and growing older by the day finally crossed the line that kept civilization alive in favor of Christian Nationalism.

Now, does it all make sense? The extremism is about a corrupt and corrupting Republican Party engaged in courting insurrection and believing they can control it. They can't. Trump's election proved that. All the insurrectionists need now is another corruptible Republican willing to step over the line as soon as the power is within their grasp.

The United States of America is a powerful country. There is no room in the world for radical extremists embedded with an ancient belief of pre-ordination. The Republicans are completely out of step with the USA Constitution by the very nature of the violent groups they court for votes.

That is what the sane people in the USA are up against in seeking votes and in voting. The Democrats and the sanest Americans (including two Republicans on the Committee) are on the correct path in pursuing justice and holding everyone involved in January 6th responsible, including fines and prison. 

Donald John Trump has no "stops." He was always been rescued regardless of his ostracized social standing. He has always had problems and his self-defense is "unfairness." Donald John Trump was able to accumulate a lot of assets and through lies he accumulated a lot of money. He is living in the penthouse in Trump Tower, not an estate in Bedminster. Every place he lives earns money, hence, he is perfect for "public housing" in the White House. He is not a success. He is a placated idiot that managed to hold onto the power of impoverishment from his father's wealth to the point of chronically sabotaging banks and government from a resolve to end the "point of bankruptcy."

Republican gubernatorial nominee Doug Mastriano’s (click here) use of the far-right social media platform Gab.com to engage potential voters is a step toward extremism that more moderate members of the Republican Party have a responsibility to repudiate, experts on politics and the internet say.

Mastriano paid $5,000 for campaign consulting to Gab.com, according to his campaign finance reports filed in May. Gab was the site where a gunman posted anti-Semitic screeds before the October 2018 shooting when he allegedly killed 11 people at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.

The 49-year-old Allegheny County man, who faces federal hate crime charges, wrote on the site about the white supremacist conspiracy theory that white people are being replaced in American society by immigrants and people of color, a theme Mastriano also has touched on in public statements.

Libby Hemphill, a University of Michigan professor who studies political communication and social media, said Gab emerged as a refuge for hate speech after mainstream platforms including Facebook, Reddit and Twitter took steps to moderate and remove racist and bigoted content.

“When a mainstream politician says I want to reach hate groups where they meet, that’s scary to us,” Hemphill said....
