Storms' survivors try to pick up the pieces

February 4, 2007

DeLand, Florida

After twisters killed at least 20, the grieving continued but the promises of hope and rebuilding came as crews and volunteers descended on Central Florida to help.

This is the damage at a trailer park in Florida from the tornadoes. Trailer parks are common in Florida and while the weather service did the best it could in alerting residence of the danger minutes before it happened, there was no place for most of these victims to go anyway.

What good is it to alert people if they haven't got severe weather shelters immediately available. Providing those shelters is not an easy task. Florida is sandy soil and what would occur if during a hurricane, when there is a chance of severe flooding people thought they would be safe in an underground shelter? They would die of drowning.

All this could have been averted with responsible government rather than reactionary government. All the sympathy holy men, the media and society can exert will never reduce the fact these people died without good cause and because of societal negligence of forecast disasters by scientists.

This event is NOT a 'freak' occurance and to assume so is ludicrous in the face of it getting worse with repeated events of greater magnitude.

Same as before. Lower elevations seeing above freezing temperatures while the higher elevations are freezing. Given that, what will happen when the melt off of Antarctica at lower elevations occurs without the abatement of Human Induced Global Warming and the Blue Ice is exposed to the tropospheric temperatures. Will it benignly 'melt down' into melt water and gently run off, or will it crash into the oceans causing tsunamis globally? Do we really want to find out? In this satellite it is completely obvious WAIS is taking most of the heat and never is without above zero temperatures.

The highest humidity is at King Sejong, Antarctica at 99% where the temperatures is 2 degrees above freezing on the Celcius scale. The lowest temperatures are at Dome C, Antarctica at -42 C and at Vostok where it is -38 C with a humidity of 37%.

Here again there is a phenomina one would not expect in that the majority of WAIS in the southern hemisphere during summer and Glacier Bay in the northern hemisphere during winter are both temperate and melting.

The 'aspect' of heat transfer is confirmed in this map (click on)

February 5, 2007 at 6:00 PM

Noted are the different colors of 'cold' over Canada. The color guide to the left indicates clearly the 'lightest' shade of blue/aquamarine is 'temperate/zero.' To realize the position of the heat transfer vortex in the UNISYS satellite and to realize the 'temperate' region of southern Greenland is to realize the amount of heat that the Arctic Ice can stand upto, however, that will not last forever. We need to realize there is a point of no return whereby there is still ice apparent but the level of 'sustained' carbon dioxide in the troposphere will demise every aspect of it.

That is vitally important and why the USA has to take responsiblities for it's negligence for so long. We need to act now to begin an economy of carbon dioxide emission free products.

The Arctic Ocean along with The Greenland Ice and Antarctica serve as ice cubes to maintain biotic balance on Earth. If there is little buffer to this heat and the troposphere continues to 'build' carbon dioxide levels, life on Earth will become unbearable. As long as the USA continues to pump willingly carbon dioxide into the troposphere these levels will continue to build.

The Greenland Ice is melting as I write this in the face of solar radiation that is still directed over the Southern Hemisphere.

The 'current' picture here clearly shows Earth trying to 'handle' huge heat displacemnt toward the 'ice stores' above the Arctic Circle.

No more false faces. No more excuses.

This is an American Comeback Story.

We are those that 'can do' and 'have' it all.

No looking back. This is the future we are promised as Americans. This is the country we want. Morally 'on track' with every promise for the world that they are promised with leadership that knows the truth and acts on it.

We need leadership that can deliver us from the past and give us the world we and all societies deserve.

America.

It's Back !

Fusion Reactors: Magnetic Confinement

The technology available can solve any tropospheric safety issues. The USA can do it all by itself. We can return to moral leadership globally in a way to envy every ally we have with a vibrant self created economy to raise the bar of success and a definition of a successful, sophisticated society that much higher.

There are projects that want to rival 'the sun' for it's processes.

France gets nuclear fusion plant

France will get to host the project to build a 10bn-euro (£6.6bn) nuclear fusion reactor, in the face of strong competition from Japan.
The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (Iter) will be the most expensive joint scientific project after the International Space Station.

Cadarache, France
The European candidate for the Iter site is situated inland from Marseille on the Mediterranean coast.

The Cadarache facility is operated by France's Atomic Energy Commission.

It is already the site of extensive fusion research, including the Tore Supra tokomak experiment.

Hundreds of jobs will be created if it is selected.

There are all kinds of solar projects. Successful solar projects.

Korea to build world's biggest solar power station

GWANGJU - The world's largest solar power station will be built in South Korea by 2006, a provincial government announced.

Representatives from Sun Power & Geothermal Energy Co, a solar systems design company from the United States, and Sharp Electronics Corp of Japan came to South Korea to map out the final details of the construction of the station in the coastal county of Sinan, some 420 kilometers southwest of Seoul, South Jeolla province government officials said.

Construction of the 15-megawatt solar power station will begin next February for completion in October 2006, it added.

"South Jeolla province is a blessed region, which receives the largest amount of solar radiation in the country," Park Joon-young, South Jeolla province governor, said. "The Sinan station will be the world's largest."

Sun Power will design and install the solar power systems, while Sharp will supply the cells needed to generate solar energy, the regional government said.

A total of 12 companies are seeking to establish solar power stations in the province to produce a combined 37 megawatts of solar energy.

High Speed Magnetic Rail - These trains run best on elevated rail to allow traffic underneath and safe

  Posted by Picasa

The principal of a Magnet train is that floats on a magnetic field and is propelled by a linear induction motor. They follow guidance tracks with magnets. These trains are often refered to as Magnetically Levitated trains which is abbreviated to MagLev. Although maglevs don't use steel wheel on steel rail usually associated with trains, the dictionary definition of a train is a long line of vehicles travelling in the same direction - it is a train.

The biggest complaint about these gorgeous giants is noise.

Noise?

Did I hear a heater come on in the house today? Ah, yeah. What kinda noise we talking about.

By the way to understand the 'size' of these babies, that is a boat in the water. This is a stationary wind farm. There are others that float to divert any aspect of interference with marine life. Additionally, birds tend to be smart. They avoid these large power plants. Additionally, they can be put out of major flyways for migrating birds while adhering to all protection laws.

Get that feel good feeling yet? I have.

Nearly every First World country has harnessed this form of power. Hello, America.

Genesis Studies Wind Farms In Kentucky, Virginia And West Virginia
in News Departments > FYI
by NAW Staff on Friday 02 February 2007

Genesis Development of Kentucky LLC, an Elkhorn City, Ky.-based firm that was recently founded, is conducting site testing in Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia for potential wind farms.

The company will conduct wind assessment studies lasting six months to a year to determine the best location to build a wind farm, says Scott Sykes, Genesis Development's president. He adds that the company is expecting to construct several wind farms in the long run - the first would have a capacity of about 100 MW.

According to the American Wind Energy Association, there are currently no wind farms in Kentucky or Virginia. Skyes says because of the lack of wind projects in the area, residents may be skeptical. Therefore, Genesis Development is open to questions and comments while the study is taking place and plans on conducting public forums early in the developmental process once a site is chosen.

Hybrid Technologies To Unveil $125,000 Electric Car

The Electric Car already exists. We don't have to wait for the 'hydrogen fuel cell.' What the Electric Car needs are production plants and a client base. We already where the client base is and that it is eager for it's arrival. We now have to build plants for mass production.

In the meantime, there is ethanol to transform a lagging economy mired in fossil fuel use. The new standards for carbon dioxide emissions coming out of California are important but they are still old world. It's time to get out of the sandbox on the future and make it work !

Good-bye GM, Ford and Lexus. Babe, we are taking over and not settling for less. Elections and getting out the vote has never been more important.

The quest for the electric car

I heard about an electric car being made by a company called Tesla Motors. They claim their car is capable of a four second 0 to 60, something any car enthusiast salivates over.

Tesla Motors is an American company who is trying to turn a page in history concerning electric vehicles.

The estimates I found on the cost of their Roadster were in the range of $100,000. But hey, it’s a pretty sweet ride. The car certainly looks like 100 grand.

In case you’re wondering, the only notable electric car in automotive history was the EV1 from General Motors.

GM didn’t go down as the tree hugger’s superhero as eventually they killed the project, and crushed all the models that didn’t end up in a museum somewhere.

Americans didn’t find EV1appealing for many reasons, but mainly its range was only 150 miles. Maybe they crushed them because they were such an embarrassment to car-kind.

If you want to own an electric car someday, hope that General Motors’ recently unveiled “flex-electric” Chevrolet Volt will be firstly affordable, and secondly, produced.

OUT WITH THE OLD and in with THE NEW. We want it. Gotta have it.

Where will the new, exciting and vibrant economy of the USA come from?

One of the basis of a carbon dioxide free emission society stands with harnessing the power of computers. Posted by Picasa

When I was faced with adversity in my life, someone once said 'When given lemons, make lemonaid.' It's time America did exactly that.

The Bush White House has raped this country of it's economy and treasury to kill and destroy rather than build on a methodology of peace and diplomacy. It has also outsourced jobs and have literally committed jihad against unions.

None of these transporation or enegy solutions are in their infancy. They all have a long history of known sucesses. We just need to go there. Bravely, unafraid and determined. In order to achieve such high moral goals that will protect Earth forever, we need to continue to 'weed out' elected represenatives that do not serve the interests of the young of the USA seeking a happier and guaranteed safer life than was ever before afforded any American.

This is a call to arms. But. A different kind of arms. We, as a nation, are laying down our weapons and picking up the future to embrace it in a very affirmation of success while returning to being the nation of 'example' and 'wealth' to the rest of the world. It is our moral destiny and moral right to recapture our profound purpose in life and come to the forefront of environmental leadership. Taking example from few but setting 'the standard' and reaping the rewards that come with being the world's leader in tropospheric safety for all generations to come.

Hydroelectric Power

  Posted by Picasa

This is a no brainer. It's one of Earth's most abundant resources. Water. Hydroelectric power was not at all a far cry from innovation when it was once simply a paddle wheel in a fast flowing stream harnessed for grinding grain. When power was connected with the ability to produce electricity there was literally 'light.'

The delicate aspect of hydroelectric is the very aspect that makes it a great form of energy. The water. If we wait too long, the water on this planet will not be as available to us, although that seems a fantasy now, with noted and considerable flooding hardship from flooding.

Rain is abundant in some areas of the world and therefore there is little to worry about with this energy source, but, with continued heating rains may stop at some time and the headwaters to great rivers will begin to dwindle.

Britain has long been a leader in combatting Human Induced Global Warming

This graph clearly illustrates the use of coal and it's significant contribution to Human Induced Global Warming. Coal was among the earliest fuels harnessed at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. It is odd to realize we have come so far in technology yet we are still holding onto antiquated ways of producing energy. The 'idea' that coal can somehow replace oil as an energy source is grossly incorrect.

CO2 Emissions Calculator

Bear in mind that around half UK CO2 emissions come from industry and commerce, supporting our everyday lifestyle. So if your personal profile comes out below about 3,000 kg CO2 (3 tonnes), you are doing reasonably well by UK standards, but would still need to do more to be a good global citizen!

Energy Efficiency Accredition for Business

http://www.carbontrust.co.uk/energy/takingaction/eeas.htm

THE United Kingdom is far ahead of the USA in providing guidance on Carbon Dioxide Emissions to find again the tropospheric balance of the gaseous Earth. The United States of America has a far higher calling. It needs to remove carbon dioxide from any form of emission.

Why?

The USA is the largest contributor of carbon dioxide emission on Earth. A full 25% of the CO2 emissions that are causing hardship to Earth's biota including the citizens of all countries of the world is assigned to the USA. The USA alone can completely reverse the deadly trend of Human Induced Global Warming.

The United States of America can completely stop the trend and reverse it when it applies the proud and high reaching morality of controlling Earth's tropospheric gases to benefit all to Earth's life.

We can do this. It's simple. The mechanisms are already in place. It requires a dedicated and benevolent government in Washington, DC. Many states already are fighting the 'good fight' while the others lack vision and impulsion.

I promise you, we can do this. From now on, the USA has control over the well being of Earth. We should INVITE all other countries to join us, but, in all honesty the citizens of the USA are unlike all others. When we harness our collective will we can move a plant back to it's healthy balance.

Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant

Down in the street there is violence
And a lots of work to be done
No place to hang out our washing
And I can't blame all on the sun, oh no

We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher
Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher

Workin' so hard like a soldier
Can't afford a thing on TV
Deep in my heart I'm a warrior
Can't get food for them kid, good God

We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher
Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher

Oh no...
Oh no...
Oh no...
Oh no...

We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher
Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher

Who is to blame in one country
Never can get to the one
Dealin' in multiplication
And they still can't feed everyone, oh no

We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher
Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher

Out in the street...
Out in the street...
Out in the playground...
In the dark side of town...

We gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher
Oh we gonna rock down to Electric Avenue
And then we'll take it higher-

Rock it in the daytime
Rock it in the night ...

Do corporate profits have to coincide with Human Induced Global Warming?

  Posted by Picasa

Not necessarily. If carbon based fuels increase to the point where they are unaffordable and corporations are showing large profits because if it, then they will have sustained their purpose to stockholders while being environmentally superior in their moral purpose. I believe CEOs of corporations, no matter the country they find themselves practicing their business, have a great deal of soul searching to do regarding the salvation of Earth.

Bolivia’s Only Ski Resort Is Facing a Snowless Future

Chacaltaya bills itself as the world’s highest ski resort, at 17,388 feet, but its ski run is expected to disappear in a few years. Skiers now descend to the lodge on a trail of rocks that 14 years ago was a 40-foot-deep run.
