I think the water vapor collection at the Yucatan Peninsula is the 'eye' of Harvey.

You tell me. There is a lot of energy in the troposphere. We just saw Kenneth go from a Tropical Storm to a Category 4 in the Pacific. Kenneth has dropped again in velocity. That does mean the energy in the troposphere is dissipated.

If one measures the diameter of the storm from the ridge over Texas to North Carolina to the opposite side into the Caribbean, it is a near perfect circle.

The feeder system from the Texas ridge to the Caribbean border is all beginning to move in the same direction. It is a vortex. That is my assessment.
