Presidential Order 13526 (click here)

The author of this complaint appears to have extensive knowledge of what is classified and unclassified information. The complaint is crafted in a way that it can be revealed to the public in "the entirety." That tells me the Whistleblower would leak the information if necessary. There isn't anything classified in the complaint, but, only the attachment. Applause. Applause. They are committed to the revealing of the diabolic methods of Trump to undermine the laws of the USA. This person is a patriot and determined to have others within power, including the American people, know the degree Trump disregards the USA Constitution.

I need a cup of tea. Sorry to hear Senator Sanders needed to be hospitalized. I am sure he is annoyed at the incident.

So, the author of the complaint has gone through a great deal of time and trouble to relay the seriousness of the words. The first page and part of the second page is used to express the deep commitment the author has to the country's national security. This complaint is not to be taken lightly. The fact this complaint exists at all is serious, but, to come to understand the brevity the author places on these words DEMANDS it be taken to it's final outcomes.

The note beginning, "If a classification marking..." is even more startling. Those words relay an understanding there is a ruthlessness within the Executive Branch that can prevent PROPER channels to be followed. THEN, realize those proper channels were interrupted makes the author, even more, important. This person not only had fears for the country but, for the ability of PROPER CHANNELS to carry out their purposes in protecting the country. UNDERSTAND THAT? PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS AUTHOR'S FEARS ARE IMPORTANT. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE UNDERMINING OF THE USA GOVERNMENT IS OCCURRING AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF OUR "Check and Balances" GOVERNMENT.

In the Executive Branch the Trump Koolaid rules and not the Rule of Law. The Executive Branch is lost to the country at this point.

I don't make those statements lightly and in that lies the understanding the Whistleblower's URGENT CLASSIFICATION. There is not an American that should allow this complaint to disappear into the "FOG OF POLITICS."

Page 2 begins the "The 25 July Presidential phone call"

It is unclear who initiated the phone call. This was the second phone call with President Zelensky of Ukraine, the first being a congratulatory call. I still want to know what was discussed in that first call. Why? Because I already read the transcript of the phone call and it is completely evident there was at the very least "a threatening tone" set by Trump in regard to military hardware and munitions.

This being the second phone call, very little of the conversation was about the relationship between the USA and Ukraine in regard to SUPPORTING the fledging democracy in it's efforts to protect its sovereign state with a war raging at the eastern border with Russia. The phone call was steered by Trump into his own self-interests. President Zelensky didn't begin the idea of drumming up a story about Biden in solidarity with Trump, it was Trump that controlled the conversation.

The conversation within those parameters of understanding was witnessed by multiple people. Here again, the validation of the complaint is absolute.

The statement in this part of the complaint relates an idea of time. The call was early in the morning. The time difference between the two presidents was seven hours. I suggest this was a prearranged phone call. I would expect that between two presidents. Besides that the staff witnessing the phone call would have to be present. It is just a side note to the dynamics of what is transpiring. The author of the complaint was not present, it would seem anywhere in the building.

Note also President Zelensky had taken office four months earlier.

Below is the bottom portion of page 2 of the Whistleblower complaint.

The phone call was primarily directed by Trump with a clear understanding that the Former Vice President Biden, the leading opposition candidate to Trump in the 2020 election, and his son were the topic. Trump is demanding, by occupying the control of the conversation, to begin and continue an investigation into the activities of VP Biden and his son Hunter. 

Trump makes a clear understanding that President Zelensky is to assist him in advancing the understanding the Special Counsel investigation was misdirected and that the crime was committed in Ukraine and the Clinton campaign. Supposedly, the Russian crimes of interfering in the 2016 election are to be assigned now to Ukraine, Crowdstrike and the DNC.

Why might one ask is this the focus? It is ridiculous, right? All the evidence is in on this. Toward the end of the 2016 presidential campaign, the DCCC and the Clinton Campaign are reporting hacking and when the FBI investigates, it has a Russian signature. Indeed we know there were two Russian intelligence agencies involved with the Russian invasion of the 2016 elections and are known by the FBI. There is proof of that information somewhere in the vast array of evidence in the US Justice Department through the Special Counsel investigation. We know that as fact. 

Let me try a Trump Koolaid scenario out here complements of the perverted fears of Vladimir Putin.

See, the USA government DEEP STATE wants the people of the USA to believe this was all about Russia. It wasn't really Russia though EXCEPT in retaliation of what was being conducted by Ukraine.

So, Ukraine is supposed to have been hacking the USA elections of 2016 all along, but, the DEEP STATE kept it secret. The Russians being as wonderfully clever as they are came to the rescue of the USA and performed countermeasures to taint the elections in the direction of Trump rather than Clinton.

You see, the REAL DAMAGE to the USA democracy by Ukraine was hidden from the public and no alarm was made until Russia's fingerprints were all over the Clinton campaign.

Anyone actually believes that? If anyone does then the evidence files in the USA government back to the beginning of time are all manufactured and we need to dispense with all current understandings of democracy and allow the hero worship of Russia to begin. Now, does anyone actually believe the FBI and/or CIA or any other intelligence agency of the USA would carry out such extensive lies?

There is no DEEP STATE in the USA. There are currently over 13,000 FBI agents at work today in the interest of the USA. That is only the FBI. Does anyone besides the Trump Koolaid Crowd believe 13,000 agents are living a lie? Does anyone actually believe the USA government could carry out such lies? The entire idea that James Comey was leading a rouge agency is hideous. James Comey was fired because he refused to give into Trump's megalomania. That is the truth, so let's get on with the complaint.

I am going to stop this reading at 1:00 pm to go to a previously determined appointment. I will return by 4:00 pm and continue the reading here.

The Whistleblower again lists Rudy Guiliani and Michael Pompeo as support to the president, but, this time it is stated in such a way that provides the idea of ownership by Trump as if they were his personal assistants. Guiliani and Pompeo are Trump's explicit personal envoys on these matters.

There is also an extensive footnote at the bottom referred to 1.

Footnote 1 again reiterates the brevity of the words in the complaint and it's need to be read by all those possible as an exempt document under Executive Order EO 13526, Part l, Section 1.1.

Section 1.1. Classification Standards. (click here)

(a) Information may be originally classified under the terms of this order only if all of the following conditions are met:

(1) an original classification authority is classifying the information;
(2) the information is owned by, produced by or for, or is under the control of the United States Government;
(3) the information falls within one or more of the categories of information listed in section 1.4 of this order; and
(4) the original classification authority determines that the unauthorized disclosure of the information reasonably could be expected to result in damage to the national security, which includes defense against transnational terrorism, and the original classification authority is able to identify or describe the damage.
(b) If there is significant doubt about the need to classify information, it shall not be classified. This provision does not:
(1)amplify or modify the substantive criteria or procedures for classification; or
(2) create any substantive or procedural rights subject to judicial review.
(c) Classified information shall not be declassified automatically as a result of any unauthorized disclosure of identical or similar information.
(d) The unauthorized disclosure of foreign government information is presumed to cause damage to the national security.

Once again the Whistleblower is being exceptionally careful to include not just the Executive Order, but, the exact section of the Executive Order that allows the public disclosure of the complaint. The author is really worried this is not going to make it to Congress and/or the public. That fear is validated by the real actions of the DNI (click here) and the DOJ. The fear is real and that has to add brevity to the complaint because so much of the public actions of this administration have proven it to exist. It is a big problem.

Section 1.7 of the Presidential Order already cited comes into view as well. This is the beginning of that section. It is quite extensive. 

Sec. 1.7. Classification Prohibitions and Limitations. (a) In no case shall
information be classified, continue to be maintained as classified, or fail
to be declassified in order to:

(1) conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error;
(2) prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency;
(3) restrain competition; or...

4:03 PM EST - Hello, hello, hello. I am going to take a few more minutes for myself. About 15. 

The Whistleblower is somewhat specific about Section 1.7. These two provisions of the Executive Order is particularly noted.

(1) conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error; or 

(2) prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency;

Also in this section is Footnote 7 on page 5 of the complaint. The Footnote begins, "Mr. Lutsenko later said..."

Meet Mr. Lutsenko.

Yuri Lutsenko, (click here) the former prosecutor general of Ukraine, at an interview in a Kyiv cafe on Sept. 28, 2019.

Kyiv - Ukraine’s former top law enforcement official says he repeatedly rebuffed demands by President Trump’s personal lawyer to investigate Joe Biden and his son, insisting he had seen no evidence of wrongdoing that he could pursue.

In an interview, Yuri Lutsenko said while he was Ukraine’s prosecutor general he told Rudolph W. Giuliani that he would be happy to cooperate if the FBI or other U.S. authorities began their own investigation of the former vice president and his son Hunter but insisted they had not broken any Ukrainian laws to his knowledge....

How many times was Mr. Lutsenko dogged by Guiliani and why wouldn't and won't take no for an answer? Perhaps Mr. Lutsenko didn't understand the subtleties of corruption.

So, the statements by Mr. Lutsenko, according to Footnote 7, states Ukraine all the way back to Shokin has never investigated Burisma, even up to his removal from office. That doesn't mean anything? All Ukraine's prosecutors and others in the know never saw any indication VP Biden and/or his son and/or Burisma was ever being investigated. WHY DOESN'T THIS MEAN ANYTHING? Much to the disappointment of Vladimir Putin Ukraine is a sovereign country and the people in the know have answered Guiliani's insistent questions.

It is perfectly obvious Guiliani wanted a different response. He never got it. SO, Putin's puppet, Trump made the subtleties go away in adding to the mix withholding Ukraine's expected military shipment to people fighting for the country and dying for their country. You know how that is, sometimes a mule just has to be hit over the head with a 2 X 4 to get their attention.

The Whistleblower was provided the information on which the conclusion is drawn in the course of daily duties. The information accumulated over four months. The idea of this being a single occurrence is wrong. This is a single reporting, HOWEVER, the information accumulated over four months of which were from multiple sources. There is every reason to believe the persons involved in this complaint are as concerned as the Whistleblower. This complaint becomes more and more upsetting the more the description of the effort behind the scenes of this complaint is described. I really believe those exposed to Trump on a regular basis are afraid for the country. That cannot be overlooked. These folks are committed to the country to begin with and to have them this upset is nothing to toy with.

THE NUMBER OF OFFICIALS BESIDES THE WHISTLEBLOWER IS SIX.

SIX.

SIX OTHER OFFICIALS ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS COMPLAINT.

These folks are secretaries to OFFICIAL, it is six officials of the USA Government behind this complaint. None of this can be taken lightly and Trump's willingness to call this a coup only provides an insight into the deeply troubled president himself. 

There is an expression my Grandfather used to say when trying to set my head straight in my early teens, "Your right, it is the world that is wrong, huh?" That applies to Trump.

The Whistleblower didn't take the basis of this complaint lightly. I am sure the path this complaint was to take on the way to Congress carried brevity with the Whistleblower. The content of the complaint HAD TO BE CLEAR AND CONCISE AND REPEATEDLY VALIDATED so the Congress' time wasn't wasted. Besides, that false reporting of such criminality of a sitting president would not be treated lightly. So, the Whistleblower probably had many starts and stops when thinking it necessary to write this complaint, but, as her/his concerns continued to be validated over and over the complaint became inevitable.

That is interesting.

"a serious or flagrant problem, abuse or violation of law or Executive Order." Who would consider an Executive Order as a basis of this complaint? This Whistleblower is somebody with enough government background to draw on every aspect of law governing the Executive Branch. No matter, that is my own meanderings. The Whistleblower is trying in the most diligent way to convey the urgency of this complaint and wants those reading the complaint to realize it is based in solid legal brevity and not the opinions in the public realm. The law is stated for a second time to carry that same urgent brevity the Whistleblower is sincerely wishing the reader to understand. This author of the complaint really means every word. I hope everyone is as dedicated to the country as this person is when reading this complaint and the supporting attachment.

The reason the Whistleblower is proceeding through ABSOLUTE legal channels is that it is a matter of national security. Whoever is writing this complaint is extremely careful that no loophole or legal misstep inhibits it's progressing to a successful end. The complaint continues the effort that every American wants, in having USA elections without interference.

The complaint states this is urgent. There are also some redacted areas in the complaint. Kindly remember when people like Guiliani and Pompeo state they can't cooperate with the US House in the information they seek, there are venues within the committees that allow complete security. There are always venues within the US Government that can accommodate the exchange of classified information. When a Secretary of State won't cooperate with Congress on an urgent Whistleblower Complaint that has to be considered conspiratorial and an even greater danger to the USA.

(A)An employee of an element of the intelligence community, an employee assigned or detailed to an element of the intelligence community, or an employee of a contractor to the intelligence community who intends to report to Congress a complaint or information with respect to an urgent concern may report such complaint or information to the Inspector General.

There is an attachment evidently that is classified. I am assuming at this point the transcript of the conversation is the attachment and it has been declassified to accommodate the public's alarm and demands. I might add that committing fraud and crime in plan sight is Trump's style anyway.

Just a note about Guiliani, I think he drank the Trump Koolaid. I do believe he is operating in the Trump universe as are Trump's Cabinet and Acting Cabinet members who cannot sign an Amendment 25 document to remove him from office. There is definitely an alternate reality that the White House exists within, which is a shift into the "Trump Universe of Lies and Deceptions." Basically, Trump has provided a platform for which the lie has become the truth which is as real to people within it as the sincere reality is to everyone else. 

The statement from Trump that the procedure of impeachment is a coup is a strong example of disillusion of which others that surround him believe. It is that deranged in the White House. A person of esteem such as Guiliani and Pompeo should be stating this is an impeachment proceeding under standards of USA LAW. But, they aren't, are they?

The business of the Whistleblower begins in the paragraph stating, "In the course of my official duties,..." The Whistleblower state the alarming information to follow is from MULTIPLE OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. Yep. Officials is the word. That carries brevity right there. There are more than the Whistleblower involved in the reporting here. That means there is a way of discerning the information in venues where everyone's identity and their statements can be kept a secret unless the Whistleblower names these OFFICIALS within the complaint.

The opening paragraph is just astounding. It is enough to take your breath away, quite frankly. A USA President is using his power to interfere in another country for the sake of information that could re-elect him to office. What is more astounding is that the Secretary of State, Former Director of the CIA and the president's personal attorney Rudy Guiliani are central to this illicit "work interest" of Trump.

I might add the news Putin openly stated Russia would be interfering in the 2020 elections is for the "Audience of One." Putin doesn't want Trump thrown out on his ear before he is re-elected. Putin also didn't count on a federal whistleblower either.

It is probably needless to say that the firing of Comey, the meeting in the Oval Office with the Russians was an open EXHIBIT of the naive state of mind of Trump and his supporters. I mean this with all my heart, those players that day will not be undone by anyone; the USA Constitution will not stand given enough time to undermine it. Obviously, the next part of the USA Consitution to fall is the idea of Whistleblowing. The safeguards of the USA Democracy will be dismantled. Putin can't believe it is taking this long.

When does impeachment begin?

My understanding is that the US House is on recess except for the six committees involved in the impeachment investigation. Those six committees will have to submit their findings to the US House Intelligence Committee to compile the Articles of Impeachment. That task could not be in better hands as the Chairman is Senator Adam Shiff. He is a tried and true man of the people and being a Harvard Law Grad always helps. The Articles will be submitted to the US Senate for trial. That means there needs to be evidence to support the Articles to bring about a vote on any one or more Articles.

Evidently, by subpoenas issued or statements by some Democrats, there is evidence that has to be secured. To that end, Guiliani and Pompeo are trying to inhibit the evidence they obviously believe exists from reaching the US House. Why these men are so desperate to hide the truth is the question of the day, the USA Constitution demands the truth, so if these men are taking their oath of office seriously, it should be effortless to provide the information at the first asking of Congress. But, instead the desperate Guiliani runs as fast as he can to constitutional scholars that stated to sue the individuals in the US House that are basically harassing them. It is another bizarre Guiliani attempt to STALL the inevitable impeachment.

The only person that anyone really needs to hear from in regard to needed evidence is Speaker Pelosi. It was obvious she intended to move as quickly as possible to complete the Articles of Impeachment because of the danger to the country that was obvious in the conversation the American people know has taken place between Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky. 

There is some evidence to be gathered next week with the open and willing testimony of Former Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker. I am sure what he has to say is important and will help conclude the investigation.

I don't know why all Trump's inflammatory tweets aren't ground for impeachment.

..."If the Democrats (click here) are successful in removing the President from office (which they will never be), it will cause a Civil War like fracture in this Nation from which our Country will never heal," Trump tweeted on Sunday night....

...The president's tweet was immediately met with backlash, and Harvard Law professor John Coates argued that the social media post itself is an "independent basis" for lawmakers to remove him from the White House.

"This tweet is itself an independent basis for impeachment - a sitting president threatening civil war if Congress exercises its constitutionally authorized power," Coates wrote on Twitter on Monday....

It is a known fact that Trump Tweets have ignited violence in the country including pipe bombs. I don't know what planet everyone else lives on, but, causing a person's injury and/or death is illegal even if the person is not directly involved with the actual or attempted act of violence.

There are ample examples in how teens committed suicide because of bullying. The words "I will kill you," between bitterly estranged lovers is a basis for a legal complaint that could lead to real consequences.

Perhaps it is the apathy of the US Senate that such acts of spoken violence is tolerated, but, it is wrong and Trump should have been sued for his abrasive language that places citizens in the path of danger by his followers.

Portland businessman Gordon Sondland, (click here) now a top U.S. diplomat in Europe, indicated Monday that he will cooperate with the House impeachment inquiry.

A Sondland representative said that he will answer questions from investigators, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Sondland is the owner of a Portland-based boutique hotel company, Provenance Hotels, and the U.S. ambassador to the European Union. Congressional investigators are interested in Sondland because he and another diplomat, Kurt Volker, talked to Ukrainian leaders about how to respond to pressure from Trump to investigate Democratic political rival Joe Biden.

The role played by the two was revealed last week in a whistleblower’s complaint that sparked the impeachment inquiry into whether Trump used his official position to browbeat a foreign country into helping his re-election campaign.

The exact role played by Sondland in the Ukranian controversy has been a subject of intense speculation among political and diplomatic figures as well as those who know him from his high-profile business and political life back in the Northwest....

The Trump White House has become a Cabal. Trump's "Deep State" are an illusion and it is coming home to roost.

In question is Trump's claim that the reason for the Russian investigation was flawed. Trump is hoping to end all trials and jail/prison sentences due to the idea the investigation should never have existed. It would make his Presidential Pardons more appropriate.

The investigation Former FBI director Mueller inherited was begun under another former Director of the FBI, James Comey. Then Director Comey received information about the hacking of the DNC, DCCC and Clinton campaign and began an investigation. There is no doubt the Russians did the hacking. The investigation that followed was more than appropriate and important to the sovereign elections of the USA.

President Donald Trump pressed Australia's Prime Minister (click here) during a recent phone call to help Attorney General William Barr with his review of the origins of the Russia probe, according to an official familiar with the call.

The call happened with Barr's knowledge and at his suggestion, says the official. The New York Times first reported this call.

The official notes this is seeking assistance with the review, which is being conducted by US Attorney John Durham, and so is seen as appropriate and completely different from the Ukraine matter. Justice Department officials say that it is appropriate for the attorney general and the President to seek help from foreign countries with an investigation of 2016 election interference....

I hope everyone is paying attention to a storm named Lorenzo.

It is headed toward the Azores. It won't bother the USA mainland or the Caribbean Sea. The "eye" of the storms are exceptionally well formed and intense.

It's been a busy hurricane season in the Atlantic this year. (click here) Hurricane Dorian took a devastating toll on the Bahamas in early September. Other storms have boiled up farther away from land, which is how Hurricane Lorenzo flew under the radar when it reached Category 5 status over the weekend, setting a new benchmark for hurricanes that far east.

Category 5 is the highest level of a hurricane with maximum sustained wind speeds of at least 157 mph (252 km/h)  The National Hurricane Center called Lorenzo out on Saturday as "the strongest hurricane on record this far north and east in the Atlantic basin."

Evansville - As the trade war with China drags on, (click here) many of America's farms are going bankrupt.

The number of farmers falling behind on loans and filing for bankruptcy has jumped since the trade dispute began in spring 2018, according to industry statistics. And farms of all types and sizes continue going out of business.

"Many farmers and ranchers are reaching their breaking point," said Matt Perdue, the government relations director at the National Farmers Union. "The consensus is that this is going to lead to a lot of exits and more consolidations."

Between July 2018 and June 2019, the number of farms that filed for Chapter 12 bankruptcies (a type of bankruptcy designed to allow family farmers and family fishermen to restructure their finances) rose by 13 percent over the previous year, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation....

Livestock is frequently sold at auction. There would be records to the increase of such sales. Dairy cows are productive and may have been sold at auction.

There is nothing to investigate in Ukraine.

The meeting (click here) resolved to elect Viktor Zubkov as Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors. Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, was named as Deputy Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors.

Hunter Biden was one of many qualified persons to become involved with Ukraine companies. Why is that? The companies wanted to distance themselves from Russia. That is a given, but, why was Hunter Biden hired in 2014?

The picture to the above and left is the headquarters of "Gasprom" in Moscow.

The reason the investigations by Viktor Shokin were conducted was to hem in any freedoms of Burisma Holdings. Realizing Ukraine, when freed from Russia, is a strategic energy source for Europe and NATO.

The choice of Hunter Biden makes sense. He would not seek to promote corruption in Ukraine. It also made a statement to the West of Ukraine's desire to be a trading partner with Europe and the USA when possible.

Nearly 80% of the world's total proven natural gas reserves (click here) are located in ten countries. Russia tops the list, holding about a quarter of world's total gas reserves, followed by Iran and Qatar in the Middle East. Hydrocarbons-technology.com profiles the top 10 countries with the world's biggest proven gas reserves....

Russia holds the largest amount of natural gas reserves in the world. The country was estimated to possess about 1,688 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of proven gas reserves as of January 2013, accounting for about one fourth of the world’s total proven gas reserves.

More than half of Russia’s gas reserves are located in Siberia....

There are American and NATO interests with Ukraine petroleum industry. That is what Burisma Holdings is, a Ukrainian petroleum company.

...Scientific Research Institute (click here) “Naukanaftogas” of Naftogas of Ukraine estimated total technically recoverable shale gas reserves in Ukraine equal to 22 trillion cubic meters, including 4.3 trillion cubic meters in eastern region, 3.4 trillion cubic meters in western region and 4.3 trillion cubic meters in southern region. According to the Head of Oil and Gas Geological Studies Center of Naukanaftogas Sergiy Vakarchuk the volumes of shale gas available for commercial extraction could be 3-4 times lower than estimated geological reserves....

Currently, some European countries receive their natural gas through pipelines from Russia. I don't really expect that to change even with Ukraine becoming another country of NATO.

The reason Western business people, including Hunter Biden, were interested in participating in the newly declared freedom of Ukraine was to move them forward into the 21st century rather than being bogged down in old-world Russian economies.

Shokin was not fired by anyone, he was voted out of power.

Former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin applied to the Supreme Administrative Court to rule illegal the order on his resignation and the order by the Verkhovna Rada, that approved the resignation. The Ukrainian News reported that reported that citing the press service of the Supreme Administrative Court.

...As it was reported, (click here) on March 29, 289 MPs voted on the dismissal of Viktor Shokin, Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

63-year-old Viktor Shokin was appointed Attorney General 10 February 2015. He started his activity with the arrest of the former head of the Party of Regions Oleksandr Yefremov.

Shokin did not get along with his young deputies  and reformers, David Sakvarelidze and Vitaliy Kasko. Their conflict has deepened after the arrest of Deputy Chief of Investigation Department Volodymyr Shapakin and deputy prosecutor of Kyiv region Olexander Korniyets (in the summer of 2015). Shokin has deactivated Inspection Department, which investigated the case of "diamond prosecutors" and eliminated Investigation Department of General Inspection, headed by Kasko, cancelling all his functions.

What surprises me is that Donald J. Trump chronically talks about USA interests, yet he is anxious to turn the clock back to a time when Ukraine's economic infrastructure was under attack by Shokin. The real investigation lies with the impeachment inquiry and it's findings to the facts regarding Trump's attempts to exploit the President of Ukraine in an elaborate attempt to discredit Former Vice President Biden and cast a shadow over the Democratic party.

Kiev - A Ukrainian investigation of gas company Burisma (click here) is focused solely on activity that took place before Hunter Biden, son of former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, was hired to sit on its board, Ukraine’s anti-corruption investigation agency said....

...The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) said an investigation was ongoing into permits granted by officials at the Ministry of Ecology for the use of natural resources to a string of companies managed by Burisma.

But it said the period under investigation was 2010-2012, and noted that this was before the company hired Hunter Biden.

“Changes to the board of Burisma Limited, which are currently the object of international attention, took place only in May 2014, and therefore are not and never were the subject of (the anti-corruption bureau’s) investigation,” the bureau’s statement said.

Hunter Biden was a director on Burisma’s board from 2014-2018, according to documents filed by the company in Cyprus, where it is registered.

The investigation into Burisma covers a period when Ukraine was governed by a Kremlin ally, Viktor Yanukovich. Burisma hired Hunter Biden after Yanukovich was toppled in a popular revolt in 2014 and replaced by a pro-Western government.

At the time, many Ukrainian firms were seeking to distance themselves from their relationships with the previous, pro-Moscow authorities, and some invited Western public figures to sit on their boards.

The NABU’s investigation related to the 2010-2012 period is not particularly active, Kholodnytsky added....

There is no reason for Trump to postpone any gun legislation. It is stalled in the US Senate and it not the problem anymore of the US House. Ask "Moscow Mitch" why he hasn't brought needed legislation to the floor of the US Senate.

Trump is lying about moving forward on gun legislation because it satisfies his politics.

I hope there were ballot observers and a clear victory can be known.

Afghanistan CEO Abdullah Abdullah has been a consistent and stabilizing element of the Afghan government since BEFORE September 11, 2001. He is a learned and most probably a wealthy man. When his country was in disarray he rose to leadership in the "Northern Alliance" a militia that has proved to be tenacious and effective.

He is seen as a Tajik. There exists bias against him because of ethnicity, not his ability to lead. That is what the USA is up against in countries it tries to help to democracy. It is a kind of voodoo as far as I am concerned. Citizens of any country, even some of the most impoverished should be voting their best interest and not their favorite prejudice.

...Born in September 1960 in the Kabul area, Dr Abdullah (click here) is seen by many as a Tajik despite his mixed ethnicity.

This is probably because of his past prominence in the Tajik-dominated Northern Alliance and his close relationship with the anti-Taliban group's famed former leader, Ahmed Shah Masood....

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani (click here) and the country's chief executive, Abdullah Abdullah, have both claimed victory in a weekend presidential election, a scene reminiscent of the last vote in 2014.

Though preliminary overall results aren't expected for another three weeks, Abdullah told a news conference in Kabul on September 30 that by his count, he won such a clear-cut victory in the balloting that a second-round runoff won't be needed.

That followed a claim by Ghani's running mate, Amrullah Saleh, that the incumbent had won a clear first-ballot victory.

"The information that we have received shows that 60 to 70 percent of people voted [for] us," Saleh was quoted by Voice of America as saying.

Neither side offered any evidence to back up their claims, raising concerns that the war-torn country is headed for a similar situation that arose from the 2014 election, where the same two candidates made competing claims of victory....

Loan guarantees, Hunter Biden and a fired Ukrainian prosecutor are unrelated.

There was pressure to fire Viktor Shokin was initiated by OUR ALLY, the United Kingdom. The USA, under the direction of Vice President Biden would later join the UK in it's money laundering investigation and placed more pressure on Ukraine's leadership to remove Viktor Shokin by removing the offer of loan guarantees.

I was an investigative reporter in the Washington bureau of the Times. (click here) That month, I published a story reporting that Vice President Joe Biden had just traveled to Ukraine, in part to send a message to the Ukrainian government that it needed to crack down on corruption.

But I also wrote that his anti-corruption message might be undermined by the association of his son Hunter with one of Ukraine’s largest natural gas companies, Burisma Holdings, and with its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky. Zlochevsky had been Ukraine’s ecology minister under former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, a pro-Russian leader who had been forced into exile in Russia.

Hunter Biden had joined the board of Burisma in April 2014, the same month that British officials froze Zlochevsky’s London bank accounts containing $23 million. Britain’s Serious Fraud Office, an independent government agency, was conducting a money-laundering investigation and refused to allow Zlochevsky or Burisma Holdings, the company’s chief legal officer, and another company owned by Zlochevsky access to the accounts.

But the British money-laundering investigation was stymied by Ukrainian prosecutors’ refusal to cooperate. The Ukrainian prosecutors would not turn over documents needed in the British investigation, and without that documentary evidence, a British court ordered Britain’s Serious Fraud Office to unfreeze the assets.

In September 2015, then-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt gave a speech in which he attacked the Ukrainian prosecutor general’s office for failing to cooperate with the British investigation. In his speech — which I quoted in my story — Pyatt mentioned Burisma’s owner by name....

The video below turns the entire policy of the USA on it's head by introducing the idea it was Joe Biden that initiated the demands for Viktor Shokin's firing. In this video it is made to look as though Joe Biden was using USA Loan Guarantees as a bribe to get rid of Shokin whom was investigating the energy company Hunter Biden was working for.

All this is a lie and truncates the actual dynamics of what was occurring with Ukraine.

Kindly remember Russia is the King of Money Laundering because their currency is worthless. Europe is well aware of the money laundering INDUSTRY affiliated with Russia. Ukraine at the time of the revolution was deeply involved with Russia and Putin. Enough said.

At this point Guiliani is just "a mouth" for Trump. Guiliani is spewing propaganda and that is why Biden made his plea to the media to end the nonsense that was causing problems within the country's politics.

Do we want a government based on lies and propaganda or do we want a country with rock solid policies based on THE TRUTH? It was always my impression the US Constitution demands the truth.

The youngest chancellor of Austria was recently elected to office. Sebastian Kurtz rejects socialist policies and ran on anti-immigration and anti-political Islam, "Make Austria Great Again. (click here)"

He has extensive experience in foreign relations. His election has placed his party back in control of the Austrian agenda, however, he has to form a coalition before they can govern. Similar to the dynamics seen in the UK with Boris Johnson. If Kurtz is unable to find common ground with his coalition partner, his government will be unable to maintain its leadership for fear of a collapse.

Austrian conservative leader Sebastian Kurz (click here if video doesn't open - thank you) triumphed in Sunday's parliamentary election, as widely expected, but he will need a coalition partner to form a stable government. Meanwhile, support for the far-right Freedom party (FPÖ) fell by more than a third as voters punished the party for a corruption scandal that brought down the government. 'It was an incredibly difficult election campaign, the FPÖ leader, Norbert Hofer, told supporters. 'We all had to carry our load, and every day another stone was added to it,' he said, seeming to refer to the undercover video of then vice-chancellor offering lucrative public contracts in exchange for campaign support

Steve Bannon was befriended by Jeffery Epstein in 2018.

At the very least he was looking for money. Beggers can't be chosers I suppose. But, what did he need vast amounts of money for? In my opinion, Bannon is doing his level best to destroy democracy.

Why?

Because there is money and potential for more money in countries of the Third World. Bannon's glide path to that money is through right-wing extremist politics. He has to change the politics that currently exists in order to change the paradigm to more exploitive policies.

The "Policy of Exploitation" is very evident in the Trump White House in the way of reckless deregulation.

...Investigators with the French police (click here) this week searched the Paris apartment formerly occupied by Epstein in connection with allegations that the infamous sex offender sexually abused and trafficked women and girls prior to his death by suicide in August, according to France 24. French prosecutors last month opened a preliminary investigation into Epstein’s alleged rape of minors.

The reported Bannon-Epstein meeting in Paris occurred months after Page Six said Bannon visited Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse. That was in Aug. 2018. An unnamed source speculated that Bannon was meeting with Epstein because he “need[ed] money to bankroll his political agenda” and Epstein was known to have “plenty of money, and crave[d] power and access.”

Bannon’s tenure as Trump chief strategist ended in Aug. 2017.

A Gates representative said on their behalf that “Any allusion to a business or personal relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and Bill and Melinda Gates is totally false.”

Lawyers (click here) acting for the whistleblower at the centre of the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump’s attempts to solicit foreign help for his re-election campaign have warned that their client’s personal safety is in danger partly as a result of the president’s remarks.

Andrew Bakaj, the lead attorney for the unnamed intelligence official who sounded the alarm on Trump’s activities relating to Ukraine, expressed fears on Sunday that the whistleblower could be put “in harm’s way” were his or her identity made public. In a letter to the acting Director of National Intelligence, Joseph Maguire, Bakaj points directly at Trump’s aggressive statements that he said prompted “concerns for our client’s safety”.

The letter, first reported by 60 Minutes on CBS News, quotes Trump’s comments on Thursday to staff at the US mission to the UN in New York. In his remarks, made behind closed doors but reported by the New York Times, the US president made a thinly-veiled threat that showed disdain for the institutional protections afforded to whistleblowers under federal law....

Fear, intimidation and sabotage is Donald Trump's favorite moves. By demanding the whistleblower's identity be made public serves two purposes; it intimidates the whistleblower from future testimony or reporting and it also instills fear into others that can file whistleblower complaints.

There is a Dark Sky Park in Michigan (click here) and it doesn't anything to park and watch the sky. There is also a beautiful reception hall where they give classes on Thursday (I haven't checked their schedule lately.) but they also rent the space out for weddings. It must be spectacular to have a picture against that dark sky.
