When are dead Americans unimportant? When are dead Americans not worthy of a House Special Committee? When? When they are dead from the climate crisis.

The right wing politicians and their media have a real problem. They can't seem to count past four.

I listened to Greta Van Sustran rant on about "Four Americans Dead."

With all due respect to the families that have lost loved ones as one of the four, they aren't alone.

In the past seven days there are known to be at least 35 dead Americans from Climate Crisis storms. Yet, poor Greta can't seem to count past the number four. See, it is about national security. The USA military has stated the climate crisis is a threat to national security.

The BBC published an article about how the intricacies of climate has caused deaths in the UK.

For every degree the temperature drops below 18C, deaths in the UK go up by nearly 1.5%.(click here)

Europe takes the climate crisis very seriously. I think it was 2004 when 10 thousand French died from a heat event. They died within days. The hospitals could not keep up with the 'fallen.'

Europeans are fine tuned to the wellness of their citizens. Due to that they have remained aware that longevity is impacted when severe weather results because of the climate crisis.

So, while Joe Trippe and Greta can't seem to move past the idea the White House didn't release every gossipy e-mail with the word Benghazi in it, they should have paid attention to the number dead from Superstorm Sandy, it might have tainted the good will between the NJ Governor and President Obama. The Republicans might have won the election after all even in the face of Romney damning the 47 percent as leeches.

...A total of 117 deaths (click here) were reported on Red Cross mortality forms. The source of information for the mortality forms was a medical examiner/coroner for 94 (80.3%) cases and the family of the decedent for 10 (8.5%) cases (Table). Most deaths occurred in New York (53 [45.3%]) and New Jersey (34 [29.1%]); the other deaths occurred in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Maryland. The deaths occurred during October 28–November 29, 2012 (Figure 1). Approximately half of the deaths (60 [51.3%]) occurred on the first 2 days of the storm's landfall, with a peak of 37 deaths on October 30, 2012....

Speaker Pelosi pointed to the fact there are many other issues needing address by the US House, but, the Republicans were using political issues as a crutch for a purpose to their paycheck. (Most of those words are mine, but, it illustrates what she was saying well.).

That is the truth. Americans are only important to Republicans when they are capable of supporting the political agenda.

It may be the reason Republicans don't appreciate deaths greater than four is because they simply don't know how to count and never had a pre-school education. Only being able to count to four is an embarrassment for all Republicans, I am sure. But, there is an entire country willing to mentor the Republicans so they can count all the dead Americans and for all the reasons they happen.

The rest of us. Well, we are simply dying to help Republicans achieve that goal as soon as possible.
