Part of the reason Georgia relies on subsidized lunch programs is because of the employers in the state.

I find the Salary Estimates paid by Koch Industries listed in the Atlanta, Georgia area within 100 miles more interesting than the fact this is one of Gerogia's larger employers.

Indeed.

The majority of these PROFESSIONALS, prepared with a college requirement is paid somewhere between $30,000 but less than $50,000.

The political donations by Koch Industries in Georgia is why the politics are so completely hideous.

About Koch Foods (click here)

Koch (pronounced "coke") Industries is the real thing, one of the largest (if not the largest) private companies in the US. Koch's operations are diverse, including refining and chemicals, process and pollution control equipment, and technologies; fibers and
polymers; commodity and financial trading; and forest and consumer products (led by Georgia-Pacific). Its Flint Hills Resources subsidiary owns three refineries that together process more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil daily. Koch operates crude gathering systems and pipelines across North America as well as cattle ranches with more than 15,000 head of cattle in Kansas, Montana, and Texas. Brothers Charles and David Koch control the company....

The economic influence of Koch Industries, especially Koch Foods, is all over Georgia. This is Columbus. (click here)

The other employers in Columbus are primarily government or non-profit healthcare. It would be silly to expect them to donate monies to political efforts. But, there is Aflac and Kia Motors. TSYS is a debt collection company The best description I have found for Pezoid Management is a chain of fast food restaurants. Blue Cross/ Blue Shield might be interested in providing some elections funding especially to Democrats since The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is a recognition of the importance of the industry. It may even increase the number of employees.

Callaway Gardens might back local election efforts. But, I think I make the point that while Koch Industries purchases their US Representatives and Senators by dumping huge amounts of money into the coffers of these bizarre candidates of the Tea Party and GOP, there is room for an alternate candidate(s) if other local industries are tapped for contributions. The DNC isn't used to having good success in the Southeast, but, with the growing unrest with poverty and by the working poor that may very well change.

I find it really ironic that GOP candidates in Georgia are victimizing children receiving subsidies to their school lunch programs while their donors pay poverty wages to those children's parents.

Here again we have an industry providing service to our society that pay poorly while receiving the very monies their political candidates disdain. I am quite sure "Koch Foods" receives plenty money from the government in their food service industry. They more than likely provide foods to school lunch programs either directly or indirectly, yet their political candidates ridicule children for eating it.

The Southeast is laced with double standards. They claim the Poor are lazy and don't deserve the subsidies they receive, yet companies eagerly accept government money in payment for their services and products.

There is a lot of hope for the Democrats to run for office. I am thrilled the "Moral Mondays" movement is taking flight in other places outside North Carolina. It is a magnificent movement with a very, very wholesome message of equality and justice. I applaud all involved. Heroes to all the lives they seek to improve. I simply thought it might be helpful to know who is oppressing equality in these states. I wish all the best of luck.
