This is the kind of activism I understand. It is called involvement.

All the Talk Shows state they are involved in opposing the government by talking about it. The Talk Shows don't walk the walk, they only talk the talk. There are no Talk Shows either Righty or Lefty involved in a lawsuit regarding the NDAA, but, at least those with sincere commitment did.



This is Unconstitutional. The Congress cannot interfer with the operations of the Executive Branch. There is a defined division of powers.

...President Obama has said that he wishes to introduce greater openness into counterterrorism operations, but he has not yet taken any substantial steps. Now legislators in both houses are undertaking their own initiatives. In the House, Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Tex.), the vice chairman of the Armed Services Committee, has introduced legislation that would require the Defense Department to report to Congress all kill-or-capture operations it undertakes and deliver a written explanation of the legal basis and approval process used to place suspects on target lists....
