Senator Paul should start running for President, it might compel him to get serious about his job.

Rand Paul is riding the Benghazi tragedy into glory.

Imprisonment

Prosecution

Oh, I suppose, but, it would have to begin and end with Mr. Hicks. See, I think when former Secretary Clinton stated, "What difference does it make, it was somewhat to protect the long lived employees of the State Department, including Mr. Hicks. But, Mr. Paul wants to elevate Mr. Hicks as a neglected hero. He sent the USA military soldiers back and only kept a few sharp shooters in Tripoli.

I don't know why Senator Paul can't get his mind around that, but, he is unable to.

"Tripoli needs to be treated as Baghdad."

I don't think so. The Libyans don't want Westerners in their country. They are content with their new found freedoms. They decided The West is a lot of trouble. Their point of view is that they don't need any other influences in their country that does not emanate from within their own understanding of life.

I watched Anthony Bourdain tonight. That is why I postponed these posting. It was more than interesting. The people of Libya are basically happy. They don't want a central government. They are afraid of a central government.

When the militias were formed it was by average people. That is not unusual for these countries. When Iraq was invaded by H.W. Bush the Iraqi military was never an organized military. Some served in their everyday clothes.

The Libyan people have no interest in pretending they want to be friends with the West. They are afraid of us.

The Libyans don't have the problems that Iraqi people are having. They are mostly chilled about things. It might be the lull before the storm, but, it sincerely isn't our business.

Senator Paul wanted Hillary Clinton to resign as Les Aspin did over "Black Hawk Down." Black Hawk Down is a movie, the name of the Mogadishu mission is called, "The Battle for Mogadishu." Just thought I'd point that out if he intends to be taken seriously.

I realize Senator Paul believes in 'Falling on his sword' but that does not make for good policy necessarily. He made most of his criticisms of the former Secretary of State while on the political stump in Iowa and New Hampshire. There are many reasons why I don't take him seriously.

Senator Paul also has strange verbiage about the IRS problem. He believes it was a Rouge IRS agent that started this with a memo he is now demanding has to exist. He then states, if these are the same people that are writing the IRS regulations for Obamacare it will be a disaster.

Maybe.

But, the first year the fine is less than $100.00 and it only requires one line on any tax return. I think they're up to it.

The biggest mess in rolling out The Affordable Care Act is that states didn't even try to form their own Insurance Exchanges due to lazy Governors.
