The speaker of the House’s official role is to lead and represent Congress’s House of Representatives, calling sessions to order and moderating debate on the House floor. However, according to C-SPAN, the speaker spends the majority of her time in meetings and negotiations, planning the chamber’s legislative agenda. The speaker also has the power to appoint committee and subcommittee chairs. According to the White House’s official website, the House Speaker is also responsible, along with the vice president, for signing bills to be presented to the president for signing. For this reason the speaker often negotiates with the executive branch and can be a powerful force for or against the executive branch’s own political agenda.
The current Speaker consents to playing politics with the power of the US House. He consents to the stalemate of his own Republican members. Cantor serves to increase the divisions in the power within the USA House. They do not work together, they seek to war between themselves. The USA House of Representatives is not carrying out the business of the people. That is not a successful House; it is political House. The politics need to be left with the constituency after the election. Representatives are not suppose to dictate to the country, they are suppose to work with the REALITY of 'the day' and move forward to solve the nation's problems.
Speaker Boner needs to have a public speech in the House so everyone knows what is possible and what is not. There should be no confusion and the current Speaker needs to address any misunderstandings.
The country has profound problems to solve. There are not a multitude of answers. In regard to the USA economy IT IS A FACT the recovery to date is due to the empowerment of the Middle Class. There is a national debt that has to be paid and the Middle Class really isn't the place to find the funds to begin to pay down the debt.
It is a FACT, the wealthy are making money. Lots and lots of money. They need to pay their way in the USA to maintain the integrity of the nation. They are profiting by the resurgence of the Middle Class.
This is a No Brainer.
If Boner is unable to lead and bring about common ground in the House, then they need to find someone who can and it probably is NOT Cantor. Cantor is worse than Boner.

Point out there are checks and balances the Republicans can feel good about. LEAD!!! Give them a reason to vote in spite of themselves.
Stop using the successful return of the Middle Class as a leverage tool. It is adverse to the nation. If Republicans love their cronies, why leverage against a Middle Class producing record profits to them? It is stupid.
If this incompetency continues to exist in the House with majority Republicans they run very high risk to be replaced. The House needs to function. The politics is irrelevant to the country's need to conduct business. When outcomes are good, the ideologies fall away. What is so difficult about this?
The truth is, the current Republicans are riding the coattails of President Obama. If the nation had allowed the House Republicans dictate the outcome in the past four years, there would be no Republicans in Congress because the nation would be hurting in a very big way. So, Republicans are actually more successful because of the policies of President Obama. If Republicans can't compromise and do the right thing for the nation, their big money donors won't help them from now on in any meaningful way. Causing adversity in the country is not a winning strategy in an election. I would think the Republicans learned that in the 2012 elections.
