Tracking a few degrees to the northwest, "Bill" is now a Cat 4 with central pressures of 948 and falling.

There are still significant remnants of "Ana" and "Claudette" to cause rains in the region.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - As the remnants of Ana drift into the warm waters of the eastern Gulf of Mexico later Wednesday, there is a small chance it could regenerate into a tropical depression as it moves northwest toward the eastern Gulf Coast, weather forecasters predicted.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center said the system, which was producing showers over the northwestern Bahamas, South Florida and the northwestern Caribbean Sea, had a low chance - less than 30 percent - of becoming a tropical cyclone again during the next 48 hours....

The 'eye' is a considerable distance from land, but, the outer bands aren't. The diameter of this storm places heavy rains over the islands. The storm is moving very quickly.
