The Robert's Court facilitated a Plutocratic take over of an election process.
As if on cue, the Chairmain of the Fed releases $600 billion to purchase bad debt from Wall Street THE DAY AFTER THE ELECTION OF MANY UNQUALIFIED REPUBLICANS.
With new committee chairs seeking to undo financial reform, compromise the citizens to benefit the wealthy cronies that put them in office.
I mean here we go again an no one even wants to recognize the corruption that exists in this cabal?
With an entire global media network working 24 - 7 to defeat THE DEMOCRACY of the USA.
No amount of money the Democrats were going to raise would counter balance the chronic lies and messages of hate.
Only to have a new promising young Senator make a speech of nothing but rhetoric. Nothing but lies. Nothing but dreamscapes of 'exceptionalism.'
Like WOW. No one gives a damn about the innocent people that will fall victim to any of this.
I listen to C-SPAN's Washington Journal today. People called in to criticize an eloquent speaker whom was very well versed in regard to the virtue of Health Care Reform. The nation is scared. They listened to media personalities and believed every word. It is more natural for people to believe the worse than to believe the best in regard to any issue. But, the people that called were completely uneducated to the bill and what it was all about. They had no idea about how they were lied to and how they were mislead by the media that wanted to place their own priotiries in control of the USA rather than what is best for the country and the people.
Yet everyone ignores the "Conservative Cabal" that rode rough shod over the electorate to instill the most dysfunctional and vicisou assembly of Republicans ever in Congress.
The 'Old World" Republicans returning as incumbants have only one purpose and that is to discredit the President, his cabinet and the Democrats. They don't care about the people, they care aobut power.
What I am hearing from Republicans is HATE, while they pander to their BASE as grateful for "A Second Chance."
What I read from those that see the disaster at hand is how to frame a Republican revival.
...Jobs are what Americans (click title to entry - thank you) want from you, not giveaways to billionaires. You could cut payroll taxes. Give us R&D (JOBS) and investment credits (INFRASTRUCTURE to support research). Chop the tax bills for small businesses that hire.
Use your imagination. Juice that big American economic engine. In these hard times, don’t waste $700 billion on a tax break for folks that don’t need it, who will only salt it away like Scrooge McDuck, or buy a villa in the south of France.
Innovate. Surprise us. No one will fault you. The Tea Party folks have no love for George W. Bush, the bailer-out of big Wall Street banks....
Republicans will seek to destroy those that have revitalized a destroyed natoin and will waste time and energy seeking to prosecute Democrats and the President to BULLY them into gaining ground they illegitmately took in the first place.
The FED is out of control and makes excuses that everyone needs to have the 'tools' to revive the economy. THOSE tools never make it to the people of this nation that seek to rebuild their local economies and move away from corrupt corporate priorities for their lives and incomes. Bernanke is out of line. He is going to destroy the value of the USA Dollar and will drive the cost of living through the roof. Oh, I know what he says, but, actions speaker louder than words and he is not acting responsibly, but, in tandem with elected understandings for his performance. He needs to be investigated and the actions with the past week.
I feel bad for the nation. They really aren't in control of REASON, but, acting on emotion without basis for their fear. They are fearing the "W"rong people, AGAIN and STILL.
Until tomorrow.

Even MORE corruption by the Plutocracy. Massey Energy is involved in a lawsuit regarding its poor safety history.
UMWA Journal blasts Massey’s Blankenship (click here)
June 24, 2009 by Ken Ward Jr....In Don Blankenship’s world, the coal industry should hunker down behind the Appalachian mountains and do nothing but call names and make enemies. He somehow appears to think that if he can ignore the issues surrounding coal and the future of coal, or if he says enough bad things about the politicians in Washington, then they will go away and leave the coal industry alone....
The COMPANY should be prevented from changing hands. The liability belongs to Massey Energy and the lawsuit should not be made mute or invaluable. There needs to be an injunction against the sale or merger.

According to the Journal, the board has hired Perella Weinberg to advise it.
The report said that people familiar with the matter believe that Arch Coal Inc (ACI.N) and Consol Energy (CNX.N) also are interested in bidding for Massey.
Massey and Perella Weinberg declined to comment. Neither Arch, Consol nor Alpha were immediately available for comment....
...Shares of Massey closed up 11 percent, or $4.73, at $46.94 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Massey's board could consider an auction for the company or could decide not to pursue a sale, WSJ reported. In that case it could look at a recapitalization or a share buyback.According to the Journal, the board has hired Perella Weinberg to advise it.

Hurricane Tomas lashed Haiti with fierce winds and rain on Friday, leaving three people dead in flooding and threatening hundreds of thousands of people hunkered down in flimsy canvas tent camps.
Although officials had urged mass evacuations, with the risk of mudslides and flooding from torrential downpours, many clung to their makeshift homes and their few prized possessions as they had nowhere else to go....
And it wasn't as though there was no warning ! The Plutocrat Republicans can KEEP their Pro-Life, it is a faux front for immorality on every front.
October 31 -- Hurricane Tomas kicked up high winds (click here) and dumped rain on the Federation Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Now a Category 2 hurricane, the storm’s track has it going deeper into the Caribbean on Sunday, where its path that could take it near Jamaica later in the week.
The storm wrecked havoc in other Eastern Caribbean islands. In St. Vincent there were unconfirmed reports of three deaths during the storm Saturday, including two men who might have been blown off a roof. Also winds tore off roofs from about 100 homes, and caused an island-wide blackout
On St. Lucia, high winds tore off the roofs of a hospital, a school and a stadium and toppled a large concrete cross from the roof of a century-old church, according to government officials.
At least 20,000 people were without power on Martinique, and streets flooded and tree branches were down. A cruise ship due to visit there carrying nearly 2,000 tourists docked instead in Dominica.
Tomas toppled power lines and damaged houses in Barbados as a tropical storm.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said Thomas had maximum sustained winds of 100 mph (155 kph) winds early Sunday and was centered about 130 miles (205 kilometers) west of St. Lucia. It was moving west-northwest at 8 mph (13 kph).

Speaker Pelosi needs to stay on as Leader of the House Democrats.
This election was NOT a referendum on Democrats. It is a referendum on the corruption of the Plutocracy and the corruption of the political system that allows Wall Street to purchase legislators.
What part of the JOKE doesn't everyone understand. Corrupt through and through and it shows!
What part of REALITY doesn't the electorate get?
Go, Nancy, Go !
The Plutocrats are unprincipled and immoral. Perhaps they never noticed but it was the Blue Dogs that were beaten up. This is an argument between the conservatives, NOT the Democrats. Try paying attention next time.
Why is it that the most corrupt people in the nation actually believes the Democrats are suppose to change their value systems and expertise to match their LACK of same?
Where the corruption of the Plutocrats shows up best is the California elections and the O'Donnell of Delaware mess. I mean if that wasn't 'the sale' of an image and ideolgues, don't ask me what was.

The problem with being unscruplous, as Murdoch's Media Circus, is; that it translates really poorly when a child needs a doctor for a fever or a person needs a good wage to support a family. Morally it is very difficult to explain why contract workers to BP live in poverty while the stockholders and CEO are reeping exploitative dividends and bonuses. Immoral is immoral and no matter how conservatives argue about their priorities it always equals CORRUPT to the CORE.
Plutocrats don't belong in government, they belong on Wall Street under regulation by government that is benevolent of its people, not opportunist at their educational, health or quality of life expense.

One might ask, why would Bernanke release $600 billlion to Wall Street?
Wall Street is preparing for the change in chairmanship of the House Committees, especially, that of the House Financial Services Committee (click here).
The Plutocratic House Leader of the Finance Services Committee will be Spencer Bachus. He has already written a letter to weaken the legislation passed to regulate Wall Street. He wants to destroy the legislation and stop the Consumer Protection Office.
THE EXCUSE Bachus is using is that it will create jobs.
NOT.
The monies released by the Fed is all about liquidity for venture capitalists that trade currencies, etc. They want to roll all the constraints back to Bush Era DEREGULATION and the Plutocrats that paid for this overturn of the House are waiting !!!
What will stop this travesty?
The Democratic Senate and the President's VETO.
Imagine having 'raw recruits' in 118 Tea Baggers and leading them around by the nose. The Tea Baggers are about social conservatism which has nothing to do with good government, they don't know squat about how effect job growth. Let's face it, they are lead by a former Governor that provided TWO YEARS of service before the tempation of wealth swept her into 'cash cow' of political deception of the electorate facilitated by Murdoch.

Corruption through and through.
Bernanke knew exactly what would occur once he announced the Fed would be spending $600 BILLION with a captial B to purchase BAD debt. And when did he announce it? The day after the elections.
This move by Bernanke does not necessarily mean an increase in job growth. Bernanke is BAILING OUT Wall Street. This is just providing more liquidity and cash flow for increased profits. THAT is not necessarily related to increasing jobs and why no one on Wall Street is interested in the jobs market.
The growth of the local economies of the USA are still based in removing Wall Street from Main Street and returning growth to local merchants. Paying more for goods is probably a new reality for the American economy, but, it interprets directly into increased wages, better quality of life, a stronger tax base and job growth with LONGEVITY rather than 'at the whims' of Wall Street. It will also FREE the American taxpayer from providing bailouts anymore and the roll of the Fed really needs to be investigated.
This BAIL OUT by Bernanke will interpret into some job growth but significantly small compared to the Bail Out by the Fed.

...Markets are looking past the weekly initial claims report released this morning by the Labor Department. Initial unemployment claims rose by 20,000 to 457,000 in the week ended Oct. 30, the department said. The previous wee’s figures were revised upward to 437,000 from an earlier 434,000. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires had expected an increase of 11,000.

There are some states moving at a snail's pace in receiving, distributing and putting the Stimulus Dollars to work.
The reason this occurred is because North Carolina legislature meets twice a year. Their first contact with the Stimulus Monies was January of 2010. This was more than likely not submitted until the May session and now the process is finally delivering monies to the NC Treasury. THEN the monies have to be distributed within North Carolina infrastructure and considering these funds are to MODERNIZE their infrastructure the USA economy won't see any uptick from these funds until next year or later.
Yesterday is a mistake the entire country is going to regret in two years. As of today Mr. Boner and the Tea Party OWN every job loss.

US Labor Department announces release of $205.1 million in unemployment insurance modernization incentive funds to North Carolina
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Labor has certified for release $205,063,552 in unemployment insurance modernization incentive funds to the state of North Carolina. North Carolina qualified for its full share of the funds available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act by providing for a variety of provisions that assist recent entrants to the workforce, part-time workers and workers who become unemployed because of compelling family reasons."I am pleased to announce that North Carolina has made important updates to its UI program to better meet the needs of the modern workforce," said Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis. "North Carolina has strengthened its economic safety net by helping to broaden coverage to deserving workers who previously did not qualify for benefits."
The Employment Security Commission of North Carolina can use the funds to pay unemployment benefits or, if appropriated by the legislature, for administering its unemployment insurance program or delivering employment services.
The country actually needed the help of 118 Tea Baggers that are nothing more than rank amateurs? Really?
This is a paradigm shift MORONS !
Maybe we need a Magic Kingdom Moment to solve unemployment.
Watch them completely stall the recovery.

US private sector employment rose in October, scrubbing loses of previous months but doing little to allay fears that the US job market is still treading water, payrolls firm ADP said on Wednesday.
Private-sector employment increased by 43,000 from September to October on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to the firm's monthly report.
Most economists had expected around 23,000 jobs to have been created, but ADP warned: "Employment gains of this magnitude are not sufficient to lower the unemployment rate.

The quandry is where were all the young voters yesterday?
You know this. What was important to the young voter in 2006 and 2008?
Give up?
Voting for a President that ended the wars and didn't believe in the draft. And. A President that would support higher education.
Guess what?
President Obama achieved all that in his first term.
Hello?
The young voter is in no hurry or is not disgruntled. They are taken care of and have their 'American Path' clear in front of them. They need to feel a stronger commitment to vote every two years to continue their contentment. Sort of a way to say, "Thank you, President Obama."

MSHA asks for preliminary injunction against Freedom Energy Mining Co.
Action against Massey-owned mine never before initiated in agency’s history
ARLINGTON, Va. — In an unprecedented legal move, the U.S. Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration today filed with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky a motion for preliminary injunction against Freedom Energy Mining Co.'s Mine No. 1. Located in Pike County, Ky., Freedom's Mine No. 1 is owned by Massey Energy Co.Section 108(a)(2) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 provides for injunctive relief against noncompliant mine operators who habitually violate health and safety standards. In this particular case, Section 108(a)(2) calls for an injunction because Freedom Energy is engaged in a pattern of violation of the mandatory health and safety standards of the Mine Act, which constitutes a continuous hazard to the health and safety of the miners at Mine No. 1.
"Freedom Energy has demonstrated time and again that it cannot be trusted to follow basic safety rules when an MSHA inspector is not at the mine," said Joseph A. Main, assistant secretary of labor for
mine safety and health. "If the court does not step in, someone may be seriously injured or die."
"Although this is the first time the department has utilized this legal remedy, it will not be the last," said Solicitor of Labor M. Patricia Smith. "The solicitor's office will work closely with MSHA to ensure that we use every tool possible to keep miners safe."
According to the brief MSHA filed, Freedom Energy is engaged in a pattern of failing to examine and maintain critical areas of its mining operations as evidenced by the quantity and gravity of violations in four critical spheres of safety: failure to clear the mine of excessive accumulations of coal dust; failure to protect the roof, face and ribs from falls and maintain an effective roof control plan; failure to test and maintain electrical equipment in a safe working condition so as to protect against fire or explosion; and failure to effectively ventilate the mine of noxious and explosive gases.
Freedom Energy Mine No. 1 lies in a particularly dangerous coal seam that liberates massive amounts of methane — approximately 1.8 million cubic feet every 24 hours — and is prone to roof falls. In the past two years, seven miners have been injured at this operation as a result of falling roof. Moreover, since Aug. 11, 2010, six major roof falls have occurred in the mine.
During the eight regular inspections conducted between July 2008 and June 2010, MSHA issued 1,952 citations and 81 orders (including 53 (d)(2) orders this year) to Freedom Energy for violating critical safety standards including improper ventilation, failure to support the roof, failure to clean up combustible materials, failure to maintain electrical equipment and failure to conduct the necessary examination of work areas.
On numerous occasions, MSHA district office officials have attempted to resolve serious safety issues at Freedom Energy, including meetings with upper mine management over recurring roof problems, ventilation and dust control issues, accumulations, electrical equipment maintenance and inadequate examinations. The inspections, citations and meetings with mine management have not resulted in changes in behavior. As such, MSHA is compelled to use its statutory authority to ask the federal court to temporarily shut down the mine until the safety issues are addressed.
If the U.S. district court in Kentucky grants MSHA's motion as proposed for a preliminary injunction, Freedom Energy will be required to close its mine temporarily and take specific actions before it can re-open. Freedom must correct all hazardous conditions in its mine and establish a health and safety management program for approval by MSHA before resuming production. Under its safety and health management program it must, among other things, establish an effective training and communications program; ensure that high-level mine officials conduct additional examinations; take additional air readings in critical areas; withdraw all miners when violations are found and pay miners who are idled by such withdrawals.
What is really KNOWN about the majority of newly elected Republicans of the Tea Party?
I am worried about what is NOT known about the new majority of Republicans coming to the US House.
Christine O'Donnell was backed by the very same people that are backing the Tea Party 'elect' Congressmen. If they are as poorly qualified as she was, then what will occur in the House under Mr. Boner, sorry Boehner?
I think there is a lot to be known about these new Congressmen before they can be reliably counted on to do the people's business.
Seriously. The majority of Republicans taking seats this year are Tea Party candidates. I believe there is going to be a very divided Congress and there won't be much resolved with Mr. Boner at the lead.
I think Nancy Pelosi and the current Congress has to address the needs of the nation and the incoming Congress has a lot to prove before they can be trusted with the future of our children. There were too many House seats to cover every contest. I am confident we have a group of newly elected Tea Party candidates that are sincerely not qualified to lead.

The point in this election that is being completely ignored ARE FOUND in the facts surrounding its dynamics.
The Robert's Court betrayed the electorate and supplied large platforms for Rovian dynamics.
The FACTS are clear. President Obama has DELIVERED on 70% of his campaign promises and his policies are CORRECT and WORKING.
Why was THAT message carried on only ONE cable station in the USA and not making headlines across the country?
Because the 'Capitalism' that has this country by the throat still does.
President Obama has delivered on 70% of his campaign promises and his policies are working.
There is nothing complicated to understand, but, yesterday's reality is that the country believes they have been abandoned by the Democratic party and the leaders of the House and Senate are falsely honest and working for the country's best interest and outcome.
WHY?
A protest vote against anything legislated in the last two years exposing the fact the Republican policies are dangerous, reckless and work to disenfranchise the American Middle Class was never necessary, but, it occurred anyway.

The Democrats need to pass a separate bill to promote the Puiblic Option. The Health Care Bill is working to lower costs.
There was not a landside victory by anyone yesterday. The liberal Democrats are sill out there and in large number. The Democrats need to stop seeking to work with Republicans. They need to pass a Public Option, especially considering the Wall Street Health Insurance companies are abandoning children with preexisting conditions.
Beaware, Jeb Bush will become emboldened by the vote yesterday and will seek to try to deceive the nation to achieve a position in the family dynasty in 2012. Obama may have to run against a Bush and should be aware of that. The Democrats need to continue to move the nation forward in a leftward trend. Wall Street is in play and that is the issue, not Democratic failure. The Obama/Pelosi/Reid administration has policies that are working including economic strategies. We have seen unemployment 'stabilize' with an increase in the private sector employment. The reason the unemployment stabilized was because the State and Local governments have shrunk and put employees on unemployment. As the States and Locals were downsizing to shrinking budgets post 2008 collapse (Two years residual effect is not unusal considering many State legislatures are only in their first year of Stimulus) the private sector has been expanding on their own steam without the benefit of bank lending. That is why the unemployment rate is steady and not less. The economy is still reacting to the 2008 collapse and hasn't fully re-organized into local strength of economic expansion. As the 2009 economic expansion continues the State and Local governments will again increase and the unemployment rates will diminish. The Small Business USA economy is expanding due to government help.
The DNC must carry that REALITY to the people through the next two years. Otherwise, the electorate will become confused as to whom is sincerely responsible for a rebounding USA economy. The Obama policies are working. We need a separate bill for a Public Option to provide good competition in some areas of health care.
NEW YORK (AP) — Health insurer Aetna Inc. said Wednesday its third-quarter net income jumped 53 percent on lower benefits and expenses.
The Hartford, Conn. company said a series of cost management moves and lower use of health care services gave profit a boost during the quarter. The medical benefit ratio, which measures the percentage of premiums spent on medical costs, fell to 81.8 percent from 85.6 percent.
Last year, Aetna struggled with costs that rose faster than it expected when it set prices, due in part to the slumping economy. That caused it to reprice a big portion of its commercial insurance. Health insurance is the company's main product, but it also sells dental, group life and disability coverage.
During the quarter, the insurer earned $497.6 million, or $1.19 per share, in the three months that ended Sept. 30. That's up from the $326.2 million, or 73 cents per share, in the same period last year. Revenue fell 2 percent to $8.54 billion from $8.72 billion, mainly on a decline in membership....

4 Billion US spent on 2010 elections. The Plutocrats won seats.
OVERBY: Four billion dollars. (click title to entry - thank you)
INSKEEP: Four billion dollars spent in this campaign?
OVERBY: Probably, or close to it.
INSKEEP: There's so many different kinds of spending here. Lets just go through some of the different ways that people spend money on elections. One is just the campaign contributions. Youre a congressmen, you ask for a contribution, you get it, it's under certain limits, you can spend it to re-elect yourself. How has that spending changed this year?
OVERBY: It is up 80 percent just from two years ago. Congressional races in 2008 compared to congressional races in 2010 is an 80 percent jump.
INSKEEP: Eighty percent increase, even though the limits on contributions haven't really changed that much, right?
The USA Democracy is FOR SALE and all the politicians are 'contrite' to recognize it !!! It has gotten to be hideous in this country. It isn't about the people and what they need, but, simply how does Wall Street harness the USA Treasury.
...A recent report states that the money (click here) spent on this election by candidates, political parties and other interest groups will break the previous record for a midterm vote by around $1 billion. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, total spending could reach as much as $4 billion this year, for a non-presidential, mid-term election. Is it just me, or is that an obscene amount of money, $4 billion dollars!?!? Keeping things in perspective, comparatively, the Obama administration recently pledged $4 billion dollars (over the next three years) to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.(1) This sum will go towards saving lives in the developing world and is allocated over a period longer than the time until the next midterm election....

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats were demonized by Murdoch and the House shows it.
"...It is the beginning of the next round...."

The West Coast polls will be closing soon. There is only one CLEAR majority in the House and Senate.
If Palin is the spokersperson for the Tea Party it is very, very clear they are not simply a 'Caucus' of Republicans. Their methodologies are very different. The Republicans and Tea Party are both ideologues. Their goals are completely different. Whomever the Republicans believe is the leader of the House will never be able to deliver.
There is still only one clear majority and those people are Democrats.
Palin should run for President Absolutely.
The biggest hypocrits are Murdoch's Media Circus. They played the Tea Party for fools. The entire day they have been stating the House will be taken back by Republicans. Really? They aren't all Repuiblicans, but, it is interesting Murdoch's service has handed them over thouigh.
ABC News' Mary Bruce reports:
Sarah Palin warned the GOP establishment (click title to entry - thank you) today that conservative candidates, if elected, are not being sent to Washington to work with Democrats. “The GOP has to understand, that machine has to understand, we are not sending Republicans, common sense conservatives, to D.C. to sing kumbaya with Obama, we’re sending them to stop Obama!” the former Alaska governor told Laura Ingraham this afternoon.
“Anyone in the GOP who thinks that they can cut a little bill here or there with Obama or Pelosi to maybe raise taxes… they are going to find themselves without a job in 2012. We’ve got to remind these folks in the next couple of years, we put you in, we can take you out,” Palin said on Ingraham’s radio show.
Palin was adamant that Republican victories in the midterms will not represent a mandate for bipartisanship. “No, the left blew it. Barack Obama blew it. And we’re going to find out tonight, how badly he blew it. It’s not a time to compromise our principles and start kowtowing to that leftist extremist agenda that was thrown down our throat the last two years. No, now is the time finally for common sense conservatives to start implementing the solutions that will make sense,” she said....
The "Bob Dutko Show" was doing nothing but stating Christians have an obligation to vote for Republicans. Not Tea Party people, but, Republicans. Why? Because they reflected all the 'correct' social values that can be converted into legislation. He was telling everyone who to vote for if they were Christians. It was amazing to listen to, especially the homophobic ranting.

New Zealand realigns with the USA, Canada and Britain on Afghanistan.

...The big question is whether Clinton will restore joint military exercises - axed by Washington after New Zealand's adoption of its anti-nuclear policy in the 1980s.There are indications that the Wellington Declaration marking Clinton's two-day stopover will not contain any such official assurances that normal business has resumed.
Even so, Clinton will find it hard to ignore the white paper's sentiment.
It is the clearest and strongest statement of the Government's intention to realign foreign and defence policies more closely to traditional allies such as the United States, Britain and Canada....
...The Army will get more front-line soldiers. The number of SAS troops will be boosted. The Anzac frigates will be upgraded.
All this is about "credible combat capacity" so - as Defence Minister Wayne Mapp puts it - New Zealand can contribute "meaningfully" in regional matters and well away from our immediate sphere of interest....
Interesting election year, isn't it?
There will a lot to talk about tomorrow morning. Voters are still polling in the Midwest and on the West Coast so commenting isn't appropriate for me.
