There is no leadership in West Virginia

The people in West Virginia voted for the same people time and again to represent their interests and what do they care about? The people or Wall Street?
None of this surprises me. West Virginia is a primary example of how corrupt the oil and coal industry is in prioritizing profit over environmental safety of the voters. The state has been served by people that cower politically to these industries. The latest was a pipeline no one wanted, but, yet it occurred anyway.
The cancers and illnesses the citizens of West Virginia are experiencing are known to occur with this type of industrial pollution. The industries need to be sued for these outcomes no different than the tobacco industry. These are known outcomes. They are unacceptable outcomes because of money, power, and political corruption. This is the year 2024 and Americans are still being affected by these industries. Seriously?

There is an opinion in the Baltimore Sun the AG should consider.
It is about injustice. I will say this, if some of these mass killings are a result of “mutual consent” shootings, the law needs to take exception to shootings vs. bare fist fights.
The Burr-Hamilton duel is old world. The guns of modern day America are too powerful and cause too much damage to ever treat such shootings as “by mutual consent.”

DOJ under attack.
To begin McConnell (click here) denied Merrick Garland a place on the Supreme Court, so the political right wing has to prove he is a lousy AG.
Then every thread of anger the political right initiates along comes Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch to weigh in. In all honesty Fitton has become another “My Pillow” guy for the likes of FOX News (the Trump fixer network) and manufactures information for Trump World.
It is amazing to watch. The DOJ sends out an email about all the great accomplishments of the department and the very next email I receive is Fitton with another outrageous claim and/or FOYA complaint filing.
He prides himself as a strong man, literally. He must take steroids. He is muscle flexing all the time! Both within his legal ability to file meaningless FOYA complaints and his hours at the gym.
I think his favorite claim is, “The DOJ has been compromised!”
At a Cabinet Meeting sometime AG Garland should ask the other departments if their hate mail, phone calls, and letters has increased over what is normal or average in past administrations. I think the AG will find out his department is not alone in receiving harassing hate behavior. There are probably repeat offenders the DOJ can silence with harassment complaints.
And last, but hardly least, Lady Justice is actually at work within the Rule of Law under AG Garland in that Trump and his minions are being brought to justice for January 6th. That is no minor accomplishment when considering how seriously close the legislators came to real bodily harm that day. The Republican Senators, lead by Cruz, hid in a supply closet hoping never to be found. That is called fear.
But, prosecutors are being successful in obtaining law enforcement against a former USA president. It firmly proves no American is above the law.
Some of the DOJ accomplishments are quite astounding and making progress with real gun control.
I am sure they are prepared for the upcoming elections. The right political wing has been hard at work limiting voting rights and access. They have moved primary dates to OBSTRUCT President Biden and Vice President Harris from being on the ballot. Under Trump’s party leadership, which is now a Trump Anti-trust issue with his family running the entire party, there is real danger to a legitimate election in November 2024.
It is going to be a very long Election Day which will be months long in securing a true expression of the wishes of the American people. It is a shame what one man has done to this country all in the name of greed and the power affiliated with it.
I appreciate AG Garland and the DOJ. They have gone forward without fear to conduct the hard work demanded by this democracy. I sincerely thank the AG and the magnificent people of the DOJ, FBI, and all the agencies that fall under the AG’s gaze.
Great work, all of you!
Hunter Biden is still suffering from his former addiction.
Hunter Biden has had a very hard life. I don’t think anyone would want to carry the chronic sorrow that accompanies his memories. These charges are unfair simply because they aren’t correcting any path he is on. He, in his book, already went through his pain and the changes he made in his life. The consequences he is facing are pointless. He already did all the hard work.
He has talents that could service the community. The judge should consider his ability to help others in serving any sentence rendered. He will probably lose his privilege to ever own a gun again and he never fired a shot.
I don’t think it is right the President and First Lady have to go through this while serving our country. There is a lot on their plates everyday, this is now another burden that could have been delayed.

4 Jewish Hostages
Is anyone happy at this magnificent feat by the IDF?
DID I MISS THE REPORT whereby the Palestinian citizens were yelling to the IDF, “They are over here? The hostages are over this way. Come this way to save them!”
I am happy about the IDF rescue of four hostages. These four hostages are completely innocent in all of this and they should be embraced by the world in general for having survived captivity. They have their freedom back and now their safety has to be guaranteed. Anyone agree?
Oh, by the way, their rescue also involved the deaths of those opposed to the IDF rescue. The IDF didn’t decide with morning coffee to kill nearby Palestinians on their way to the rescue. I would bet my last dollar on it.
More the truth is that those dead tried to inhibit the rescue. I think that is the case.
All the whiners about the deaths of Palestinians do not discern the fact many of those killed/dead were Hamas and/or Hamas sympathizers and/or other jihadists.
“The Whining” about the dead is becoming more and more clear Palestinians are more important than those attacked and kidnapped on October 7th.
Not for me. The Palestinian civilians can be victims to THE OCCUPATION by Hamas and jihadists, but, if they are going to fight and/or obstruct Israel from securing their peace then they are part of the problem. Women are not necessarily the exception. Palestinian women are known to carry out knife attacks before October 7th and they were probably doing so after October 7th as well.
Gaza, with no intervention by Israel, became a wasteland to terrorists and the hate culture they propagated. That was not the purpose AT ALL when Israel vacated Gaza as a DECLARATION of peace between the two peoples. The Palestinians, including the terrorists that governed, broke the peace agreement with Israel almost immediately, but, October 7th was the last time violence would rain down on Israel because of hate. Previous to October 7th the attacks were by individuals that could be taken to prison to end any repeated attempts. October 7th was a completely different war paradigm. Previous to October 7th there was no declaration of war so much national security issues.
Israel has spent decades seeking recognition in the Middle East by sovereign countries it considered neighbors. Israel for decades has looked to these sovereign countries for trade relationships and treaties of good will. These sovereign countries have problems with terrorists within their borders, but, they don’t send them into Israel to kill citizens asleep in their beds or attending to unsettled infants.
Iran and its proxies, including the civilians of Gaza, ruthlessly DECIDE to not recognize Israel as a sovereign power or its citizens as worthy of life and the free and open practice of their faith.
I hope I am making clear that Israel wanted none of this. There is not one person in Israel that rather the hate over the recognition of the right of Israel to exist. In peace. With all their Arab brothers and sisters.
Like it or not Israel holds the moral high ground and I am confident the citizens of Israel are sickened by the deaths occurring after October 7th. What are they to do? The terrorists won’t stop. Countering the attack of October 7th is a necessity.
I am relieved there are at least four more hostages returned home to Israel attempting a return to normalcy. But, as of yet Hamas is not interested in peace and recognition of Israel as a sovereign country with the right to exist. Neither is Iran.
Quite frankly any end to these hostilities is not even within sight, yet already decided as to the path of peace. Iran and its proxies have to stop bemoaning the past and end their hatred in hopes of peace. Becoming more hostile and more determined to cause pain to Israel will be met with more aggression by Israel. Within that aggression is not hatred, but, a determination to have peace and security.

The pictures are loading slow because the clouds are so thick and I am working off a satellite. Lots and lots of water vapor in those clouds. There has been large differences of day and night temperatures. That is trouble when clouds are holding a lot of WARM water vapor.
There are some wicked clouds over Midland, Michigan.
Been watching this system for awhile. There are mamantus clouds, updraft clouds, and meso-tornadic clouds.
It looks like a heat transfer system at the moment that might become more after sunset.

There are body guards. The Secret Service will probably have instructions, too. But, Trump will have to answer to a probation officer and if he breaks probation there will be consequences.
