India and China are still flexing muscles along the border.

India is moving into it's border region as it never has before. It is important to push back against raw aggression by China.

The Atal tunnel (click here) will enable India to rapidly deploy troops and equipment to Ladakh. Straddling the India-China border, the cold desert of Ladakh in northern India has emerged as a flashpoint while both countries spar over their disputed frontier.

"Taking care of the needs of those who protect our country is one of the main priorities of this government," Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while inaugurating the tunnel Saturday.

The world’s longest high-altitude tunnel is part of a network of roads India is racing to build in challenging mountainous terrain to improve connectivity to its Himalayan border with China, large stretches of which are still disputed.

The rapid construction of border infrastructure, according to analysts, is also one of the reasons increasing tensions with Beijing as the most serious military confrontation in decades between the Asian rivals drags into its sixth month.

While many of the projects like the Atal tunnel took years to complete, India is now redoubling efforts to expedite other border roads, bridges and high-altitude airstrips....

There is a continuing diplomatic effort. But, the major change in the region is the movement within India to take care of it's borders. I find that a wonderful development that will lead to protecting the people of India. The fact members of the military leadership were killed, is no small matter and the leadership in India are taking measures to be sure it isn't repeated.

New Delhi - India and China (click here) will sit down for the seventh round of military talks on Monday in another attempt to work out steps to preserve an uneasy truce amid unprecedented tensions on the border between the two countries.

According to analysts, expectations of a “breakthrough" were low with doubts over what could constitute a “breakthrough in the current circumstances, seen as a state of unprecedented tensions in decades. The thinking in some quarters was that a “breakthrough" would mean a restoration of status quo ante – ie China vacate the areas the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) intruded into in May. Another view in New Delhi was that a restoration of status quo would mean India move back from some strategic positions it had taken in Ladakh on the banks of the Pangoing Tso lake surprising the Chinese....

Extending the tax credit...

 ....to anyone also displaced by the pandemic.

Joe Biden is proposing a $15,000 tax credit to first time home buyers for all the best reasons. He wants Americans to begin the American Dream and it happens with home ownership. I think what may be necessary is to extend that tax credit to anyone that has been foreclosed during the pandemic. A new job and a new home.

The Republicans want to disrupt the country.

There has been a disruption of about 20 percent of Americans since March. That means they don’t have jobs and have moved into different ones with most likely relocation of the family. Or they are displaced into multiple family living and upended their family to different residency and schools, or they are destitute and homeless.

Millions of Americans (click here) relocated this year because of the COVID-19 outbreak, moving out of college dorms that abruptly closed, communities they perceive as unsafe or housing they can no longer afford. Overall, around one-in-five U.S. adults (22%) say they either changed their residence due to the pandemic or know someone who did, according to a new Pew Research Center survey.

Among those surveyed in early June, 3% say they themselves moved permanently or temporarily due to the coronavirus pandemic, and 6% say someone moved into their household because of it. (Some had more than one of these things happen.) An additional 14% of those who did not personally experience relocation say they know someone else who moved....

That is the real reason for ending any payments to the people. It has nothing to do with the national debt and deficit. The Trump Republicans have ridiculously increased the national debt.

Refusing to pass a bill to help the country is voter suppression.

When we embarked (click here) on this project more than a year ago, we could have never predicted its salience today. As the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the United States, it rapidly became clear that we would release this report at a time when millions of Americans are without jobs and at risk of losing their housing. This report became more than a way to document historic housing loss, but a tool municipal leaders could use to better understand pandemic-related housing loss in their own communities....

...An Aspen Institute report released in August predicts that 30 to 40 million people are at risk of being evicted by the end of 2020, to say nothing of foreclosures.

As we write, more than a quarter of Americans and 43 percent of renting families have reported that they cannot pay their rent or mortgage. This, combined with 51 percent of U.S. households reporting that at least one person in their household has lost employment income due to COVID-19, does not bode well for the millions of already struggling households. In 2019, the Global Property Rights Index found that 13 percent of Americans were housing insecure. Looking at the U.S. Census Bureau’s Housing Pulse Survey, we know that housing insecurity has roughly doubled this year—a staggering increase....

Oddly though, the foreclosure rates have been highest in the Southeast USA.

Herd Immunity doesn't work.

The more SARS-CoV-2 is exposed to human beings the more likely it will mutate. I think we have seen some of this already. The point is that the disease is deadly and ideology that embraces herd immunity only makes the virus stronger through mutation. 

There is nothing scientists need to know about viruses and how they work. No one needs to prophesize about it.

Viruses are opportunistic. They do not thrive alone, they have to have a host. Every 8 to 72 hours there is an opportunity to mutate and become stronger. The more exposure the virus has to it's host the more opportunity. The USA has a highly diversified genome that can teach the virus new tricks. Prevention will eliminate it from Earth. Is it possible to have COVID-19 (click here) more than once within a short period of time? Two recent reports, one out of Hong Kong and one in a patient in Reno, Nevada, have many scratching their heads—and wondering what the cases mean for the future of the pandemic. While the cases are interesting, Michigan Medicine’s Adam Lauring, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor of microbiology and immunology and infectious disease, says they aren’t cause for panic.

“Just because something happens, doesn’t mean it happens a lot,” he says. In fact, he explains, this could also occur just as frequently with other viruses without anyone noticing, because those viruses are not under the intense level of worldwide scrutiny that SARS-CoV-2—the virus behind COVID-19—currently is.

The Hong Kong case, which was summarized in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases, was picked up during a routine screening at the Hong Kong border, and the man did not exhibit symptoms. The Nevada reinfection case report has not yet been peer reviewed.

Reinfection is a matter of the body’s immune response and the evolution of the virus itself, notes Lauring. If these patients’ initial immune responses to their first infection weren’t robust enough, they could be susceptible to getting infected again....

There is still time to correct errors.

Mail-In Voters and Absentee Voters must check the mailing address at the polling place to be sure it is the same return address on the returned ballot.

This will effect renters more than homeowners. Moving within the same town or voting district is not uncommon, especially if it is a growing family.

It is usually the County or Town Clerk that has these records.

Where are the White Supremacists/Nationalists getting their funding? Self, drug dealers, human trafficking or foreign government?

Government money is everything to Wall Street. Perhaps, there needs to be federal legislation that requires a risk assessment to be part of any BOND REQUEST.

After all, it is a heck of a thing to actually have to borrow money that will ultimately kill and maim the elderly and children. When no one cares, there MUST be the rule of law that protects human life in the USA.

US stocks (click here) moved higher on Friday as negotiations continued on another round of fiscal stimulus to combat the economic decline caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had been trying to make a deal before the November election, but President Donald Trump said earlier this week that negotiations were over.

Fast-forward to Friday, and the talks are back on.

"Covid Relief Negotiations are moving along," Trump tweeted on Friday. "Go Big!"...

Oh, no.

It is an interesting lawsuit. The three companies have never come forward following the crisis to aid the residents. 

There is no conscience when it comes to the financial sector. Morality requires a conscience. 

They didn't even act to protect GM either. I mean at the very least I would expect greed merchants to at least look into any peril for Wall Street. Not even GM, huh? 

My, my. 

So are they going to say understanding every aspect of the project is not their responsibility? Really? Because if the financial markets don't understand what their investment involves, it might explain why they are always looking to the USA Treasury to bail them out.

Look, cities and towns across this country seek the financial sector to sponsor bonds. Municipal bonds are very desirable. But, it is a real eye-opener to realize they blindly allow financing without even performing a RISK ASSESSMENT. These companies have entire departments of Risk Assessment and they never even bothered to understand the Flint Water Project and the vicious nature of the project that put Flint lives in peril.

So, the City of Flint was placed in peril by their Governor financed by three investment banks that actually thought they were safe with a Republican at the top of the government. This is really interesting. I congratulate the resident of Flint in turning over every leaf to find where evil lives within our government.

What are they thinking? Certainly not about the people. Ya know. It is called regulation. What regulations were in force in 2014 and why wasn't a conscience put inside this project? That is what regulation is after all. A conscience. Evidently, any existing regulation didn't have a conscience when it comes to the people of Flint.

Why?

Not that investment firms should need a conscience. They should have one at the top of the company. This tragedy in Flint is a prime example right along with the 777 Max as to why corporate self-governance is a joke. They can't be trusted. Regulation is vitally necessary.

Residents of Flint, Michigan, (click here) have filed a civil lawsuit against three investment banks for claims arising from the poisoning of "minors, residents and water users of the City of Flint during the period when Flint utilized the Flint River as a primary water source without implementing proper corrosion controls," according to a complaint in federal court.

Prior lawsuits regarding the Flint water crisis have been ongoing for years against various government officials and environmental engineering companies that were involved in the decision to switch the water source in Flint.

This complaint alleges JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company in 2014 "underwrote the bond sale that financed and enabled Flint's participation in the Karegnondi Water Authority" pipeline (click here). The bond sale "aided and abetted the perpetration of the violation of Plaintiffs' firmly established constitutional right to bodily integrity," the complaint says.

The complaint, filed at the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, alleges that without the bond backed by the three investment banks, Flint would not have been able to pay for the KWA pipeline. According to the complaint, "J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and Stifel agreed to underwrite the bond financing ... and facilitated a plan for Flint to leave the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department ("DWSD") and enter the KWA, and they knew that a necessary element of the plan was the use of raw, untreated Flint River water as an interim drinking water source, which would expose Flint's residents and water users to lead-poisoning and legionella bacteria."...

This is the second time domestic terrorits have been inspired to act by the hate speech of Donald John Trump.

Even after Cesar Sayoc (click here) was sentenced for his Trump-inspired attacks White Supremacists/Nationalists maintain focused on overthrowing the government through a civil war. It is proven Trump's hate speech does increase the danger to citizens and the government.

The people I hear talking about the reason for actions to protect "freedom" are brainwashed and "believe" in misinformation. The truth is always under attack by the right-wing media. The fact is citizens of the USA HAVE A RIGHT TO BE FREE OF DISEASE.

Public health by the USA started very early in the new democracy.

1798 - Congress passes the Act for the Relief of Sick and Disabled Seamen (click here) and authorizes formation of the US Marine Hospital Service (MHS), which was the forerunner of the Public Health Service. Seamen often became ill while at sea and often were unable to find adequate health care in port cities. Their health was viewed as essential to the developing country, and a network of marine hospitals, mainly in port cities, was established by Congress in 1798 to care for sick and disabled seamen. Seamen were taxed 20 cents a month in order to raise funds to pay physicians and support the network of hospitals. This tax was abolished in 1884. From 1884 to 1906 funds were raised by a levy on merchant ships, and after 1906 funds were allocated by the US Congress.

For centuries the "New World" was conquered with the assistance of smallpox (click here) in biological warfare. Health is a national security priority. The healthier the population, the less the misery and more loyalty of the people to their government regardless of the government. Dying prematurely is not a natural thought by any human being. Longevity in the love of life has always been the status of mental health and in that is the allegiance of most countries to fighting disease, the USA among them. Due to the wealth in the USA and it's brain trust and infrastructure investment in health care, the USA HAS often been a partner to other countries to reduce and remove disease. Heck, Bill and Melinda Gates have taken on that wisdom and has vaccinated most of Africa. They are great Americans with the means to help and do.

American health has been a strong reason for an industry to develop decades ago. The pharmaceutical industry wasn't always a part of the USA landscape. The medical focus when it came to building community hospitals and inspiring "good health" with the development of medications, treatments, and growing specialties began in the 1950s. Medicine was once very rudimentary, but, today it is highly sophisticated. It just didn't end with the growth of the medical community, it became necessary for Americans to be educated to their ability to be healthy, stay healthy, and with that live longer.

Today, the country has to ensure that promise developed a long time ago with the allowance of SARS-CoV-2 into the borders of the USA. That means when the public health authorities provide guidelines for continued healthy living IT IS POLICY. I might add with all the investment the USA has made into health care it is not among the healthiest countries in the world. According to a study by Conte Naste Traveler January of 2020 (click here) the USA isn't even among the top 10 healtiest countries, Spain holds that title.

There is an entire group of people in the USA undereducated about their health, their choices and the policies by the USA during a global pandemic of a virus that kills and maims. Yet, when it comes to their acquired permanent disabilities they will be turning to the USA government to help with their lives. Why is that ignorance allowed? It is not only allowed it is cultivated by right wing politics. Talk about people in politics that simply don't care about others and are focused on their own creature needs and comforts; how has the Repbulican party lasted this long?

Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer faces hate as never seen before in modern America. The hate within the Michigan Militias has been cultivated for a deranged idea of causing violence within the USA so Donald Trump can hold onto the power of the USA presidency. The people he influences do not carry traditional beliefs and cultures of the USA regarding guns and allegiance to the USA.

If my memory serves me right when George W. Bush came into office there was a raid on militias that obtained and owned missiles. Imagine that still being among the population of the USA. The people who lost their military munitions and then faced charges and prison for their passions were extremely verbal about their ideas of freedom. 

Today, the remnants of those extreme definitions of American freedom is making it to the surface of the USA society. That definition of violence to enforce those ancient ideas is not at all the legal and best definition of freedom, yet the political right embraces it because it is votes. So, to satisfy those that vote for their right to violence and civil war, those in office provide greater and more and ridiculous gun rights. The definition of gun ownership defined as hunting and self and home defense has morphed into the strengthening of militias' gun ownership to actually confront Michigan sovereignty in seeking to kidnap, transport interstate and pupt on a faux trial and kill a governor. Just one governor? Or was the Michigan governor to be the first?

Freedom is not defined by how heavily armed an American is, it is quite the opposite. Freedom is about domestic peace and tranquility in the USA so such violence becomes a distant idea of history.

This is the end of it. Going forward Americans have to retake the best definition of gun ownership and it does not include a milita membership. 

It was almost predictable a violent AGENDA of a wrongful president backed by hostile foreign power would inspire the rise of militias and violence. Do you know where such paradigms exist and have not been brought under control? For as long as I can remember Africa has been based in stong men and their military prowess. CHILD SOLDIERS. That is where this is leading. A civil war in the USA will completely undermine any kind of small business economoy. The small businesses will belong to the strong man with the most bullets.

Assaulting the well being of a preciding governor is HUGE. It is THE REASON to end this maniacal and preverted ideology that has polluted the minds of Americans and provide for the end of SARS-CoV-2 in the Americas. A strong stand against violence in the USA must prevail. I look forward to the day USA law enforcement only NEEDS a six shooter and even that only leaves it's holster for practice.

Live with this reality. The people seeking violence to ensure Trump's his new residence in the White House DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE. Got that? They don't even care about Trump. If they were ever successful to spark a civil war what would the incidence of COVID-19 look like?

The people hugging the ideology of assaulting the US Pose Office regardless of status in the USA, the idea to creating violence to ensure the power of the presidency to end an election and the stupidity of defining freedom as facing "herd immunity" as an economic soldier are perverted as is Trump. There is nothing normal about his focus. That is a fact and everyone knows it. 

People seeking power that don't readily find it in their lives have attached themselves to Trump for all the wrong ideas. Lies are law. Ridding the USA of a priority of providing citizen safety discarded. The only thing that matters is that they have lived for a false ideology and now finally they will receive relief for their pitiful lives of drudgery and very hard work when they can find it. They are the USA IMPOVERISHED. They are not only fiscally impoverished they are socially impoverished. They may never be able to lift themselves out of lives of failure. They and their families, especially their children DESERVE the attention of this country and insuring they have health care at the time of a global pandemic killing thousands of Americans is a good beginning. It doesn't end there. The Americans impoverished MUST take priority to bring a reason to live a good and successful life.

We have done it before. We assaulted the Appalachians and I think we still fund places the people find a joy and accomplishment. At least we did before Trump and if not, there is a good reason for an investigation. That focus changed their lives and not their community. It improved their outcomes. They are happy today. Their children make it to state universities and they are brilliant.

Along with actually embracing the needs by this country to focus on it's weak spots we need to take on wealth inequality. We need to raise people out of poverty into good wages and PROMISE of "The American Dream." There are many, many places AND STATES in need of that focus. We need to raise states like Mississippi out of poverty and provide for the people's promise they have yet to achieve in this country.

I am going to stop here. I could go on and on about the current state of readiness of the USA to accomplish these DOMESTIC tasks. The wayward Trump administration and it's really bad management of the Executive Branch has provided one rainbow in those criminal storms, a country ready to be rebuilt. We need to BE REAL about the promise this country was built on and we need to reject poverty at every turn. I am sure I will find a reason to continue this essay at some time in the near future.

Taipei — China's declaration the median line (click here) in the Taiwan Strait does not exist was upended when Taiwanese aviation enthusiasts saw an American warplane appear to "draw" the exact location of the unofficial boundary.

On Sept. 21, Beijing suddenly decided to deny the existence of the median line in the Taiwan Strait, despite the fact there has been a tacit agreement in place not to cross the line since 1955. Since September, People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) aircraft have repeatedly crossed the median line and breached Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ).

The Facebook page of Taiwanese aircraft spotter "Southwest Airspace of TW" (台灣西南空域) at 11:19 a.m. on Thursday morning stated that an MC-130J was flying north to south along the median line. The administrator of the Facebook page, surnamed Hsu (許), made a comment below noting the placement of the flight path in between Taiwan and China and wrote "this is a little weird."

At 11:24 a.m. on Thursday, aircraft spotter CANUK78 posted a tweet stated that a US Air Force Lockheed MC-130J Commando II was flying over the Taiwan Strait. The flight path included in the tweet showed the aircraft flying right down the middle of the Taiwan Strait from north to south.

At 11:54 a.m., aircraft spotter JW Wiese posted a tweet also stating that an MC-130J had flown over the Taiwan Strait and listed it as a "Multimission combat transport/special operations tanker, assigned to the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC)." The route shown on JW Wiese's tweet showed the plane first flying down the middle of the Taiwan Strait, before making a sharp turn to the east, taking it briefly over western Taiwan, and later heading west over the Taiwan Strait.

After the plane had made perfect "L" shape, Hsu at 12:27 p.m. wrote, "The median line has been drawn, mission completed." Another Taiwanese aviation fan then joked, "Did the chief judge come today to draw the line?"

On Thursday afternoon, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that it was aware of all flights that morning and "the situation is normal." The MND had previously reported a similar mission by the same type of aircraft on Aug. 29 last year.

The plane's airframe identifier is AE596A and it is special mission aircraft operated by the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). According to the aircraft's maker Lockheed Martin, the MC-130J is “capable of worldwide employment for missions requiring clandestine single- or multi-ship low-level aerial refueling of Special Operation Force vertical and tilt-rotor aircraft and/or infiltration, resupply and exfiltration by airdrop, or landing on remote airfields.”

There is no greater honor.

Humayan Kahn was a talented and brilliant man. He was exceptionally compassionate. He could not look at the disabled without feeling a need to help their lives to be better.

This brilliant man loved his country. As war unfolded following the attacks on USA soil on September 11, 2001, he felt compelled to take up the protection of the country. He went to fight for all of us. We lost him because of his heroic acts.

Today, facing a global pandemic we call many people heroes and they are. But, without men such as Captain Humayun Khan, we would not have a country to provide for heroes to save lives from a very vicious virus.

The greatest sacrifice an American can make is to give their life in war. Captain Khan was one of those men and his family is embraced for their loss to remind them exactly who he was and who they are.

I am sorry for the Kahn family loss, but, he fought to protect us all and we won't forget the sacrifice of a true hero and his love of this country where his immigrant family found peace and happiness.

Capt Humayun Khan (click here) - a US soldier who died fending off a suicide bomber in 2004 - has become an unlikely player in the 2016 election.

But who was the Army officer whose parents are now locked in public battle with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump?

Khan was born in 1976 and his Pakistani family immigrated to the US two years later.

They settled in Silver Spring, Maryland, where Humayun grew up with two brothers.

His father has described him as a patriotic child with a fascination for Thomas Jefferson, one of America's founders.

While in secondary school, Humayun volunteered to give swimming lessons to disabled children.

After joining the University of Virginia, he signed up for the Reserve Officers' Training Corps, which prepares university students to become officers in the US military.

His father, who is a lawyer, was opposed to the move. But the younger Khan persisted.

"He wanted to give back. That's what he wanted to do," his father told the Washington Post.

After graduating from university in 2000, he served in the Army for four years and rose to the rank of captain.

What is a political crime?

There is fraud, and misdirecting the USMail, but, what the heck is a political crime?

Oh, yeah, sedition and treason. There is espionage like the Russian hacking of the Clinton campaign and then publish it to undermine an election.

An act or omission prejudicial to the interests of the state or government. 

An attack on the political order. Hm. That must be like the attack Trump is currently engaged in premeditated election ballot disarray. Right, DeJoy? Those sorting machines repaired and reassembled yet?

There is no formal statute that defines "political crime." There is no formal statute that defines political crime in any state or territory of the USA either.

Despite a history of underperforming properties, (click here) Kushner Companies received a near-record sum from a government-backed lender. Should it default, taxpayers could be forced to foot much of the bill. The agency says politics played no role....

Basically, Kushner extorted the federal government for every dime he could find.

The legal definition for "Shake Down" would be interesting in this case.

Kushner got LOAN GUARANTEES. Guess what happens next BECAUSE OF THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC?

I don't think anyone cares about these debates anyway, there is too much risk.

The only way to protect everyone from Typhoid Donald is to place him in a hermetically sealed booth that has negative pressure to vent the booth's air to the outside.

The entire Trump campaign is infected with SARS-CoV-2 and they don't care. Please understand that THEY DON'T CARE.

INFECTING JOE BIDEN and the audience in the room is an agenda item for Trump.

Joe Biden has to make it clear he will uphold his standard. There is no other solution. If Joe decides to cave on this, it will jeopardize his promise to America.

Yesterday Kamala Harris was in the room with Pence that was exposed to SARS-CoV-2 within the previous week. She could be at risk as well. There is absolutely no compromise on this issue going forward.

A Virtual Debate is perfectly fine and if Trump refuses, then we don't need to hear from him. 

Chris Christie (click here) is still hospitalized after being exposed to the virus while coaching Trump for the first debate. This is outrageous. There is just no way Joe Biden and the audience should be in the same room with Trump and unprotected.

I congratulate Chris Christie on staying in a hospital room receiving treatment and protecting others from this virus. He needs to stay in the hospital until he is completely well. This is a very bad virus and he needs to be careful.

By all rights, Trump should still be in the hospital. He isn't because he believes he knows more than his physicians do and refused to follow their orders. Sure he was discharged, but, he is the president and there really wasn't another path for the doctors or hospital, short of taking him to court to enforce a quarantine. They should have done that.

Donald Trump is risking it all. There is no reason for anyone else to do the same thing.

There is a reason why indoor air is more dangerous and why restaurants and bars are super spreader events.

“These transmissions occurred within enclosed spaces that had inadequate ventilation,” the new guidance said. “Sometimes the infected person was breathing heavily, for example while singing or exercising.”...

Mike Pence carries Trump's lies. He is therefore as untrustworthy as his boss.

Last night Kamala Harris stated she would be first in line to take a vaccine if recommended by the public health authorities, but, not if dictated by Donald John Trump. Mike Pence took offense by that statement and said it was not the best idea to stand against the public health of the USA. That statement to Camala Harris indicated that Mike Pence carries Trump's lies to the public health. Kamala Harris is correct in that clearing a vaccine for use in the requires the recommendation of the public health authorities. Neither Trump nor Pence have credentials that allow them to insist on a vaccine that is not backed by the public health authorities.

The WHO Director General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (click here) has stated he expects a vaccine by the end of the year.

That said, Donald John Trump states he wants the same treatment he is receiving to fight COVID-19 for all the people of the USA when needed.

Where is the money?

Donald John Trump has a team of seven doctors, a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS, and ancillary help that provided personal care, including linen changes and providing towels as well as a dietitian and the kitchen attendants that bring helpful and healthy food.

I want the cost of care to Donald John Trump known to the public and then the Congress and the Executive Branch must allocate that amount of money for every American in the country should they need it. That allotment of monies needs to go to the hospitals in the country ON ADMISSION OF COVID-19 PATIENTS.

The Trump administration (click here) is proposing to make it easier for oil and gas companies to drill on US forest service lands.

A proposed rule would eliminate key environmental reviews and public notice requirements, according to environmental advocates.

Currently, 2.7 % of the acreage of the national forest system has been leased by energy industries. An analysis by The Wilderness Society finds that the changes would make drilling more likely on more than 9m acres of land with high, medium or moderate development potential in Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. Many of the forests are near tribal lands or include the traditional territories of indigenous peoples, according to the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Western US forests could see the biggest changes, but the rule could also affect the east coast, where there is far less forest service land....



Drilling within forests would require clearing trees for well pads and disrupting the ecosystem for roads and pipelines....

The damage to the USA by the Trump administration is so profound it requires a new approach.

As the coronavirus pandemic (click here) continues to wreak havoc on the U.S. economy, bankruptcies are on track to hit the highest level in at least 10 years according to figures compiled by S&P Global Market Intelligence.

According to the analysis, which only includes public companies and private companies with public debt and/or assets/liabilities over $2 million or $10 million, respectively, 424 companies announced their bankruptcy through August 9 this year, up 22 percent from the same period last year and the highest level since 2010.

Consumer-focused companies were most affected by the pandemic, with more than 100 of them filing for bankruptcy this year. Due to the lockdown, the already battered retail sector was hit by a wave of bankruptcies that swept away household names such as J.Crew, Ascena Retail and J.C. Penney.

Trump never put the American people first and still doesn't.

Pence is defending the fact containment was never achieved nor was it a priority to this administration at any point of this pandemic.

The George W. Bush and the Barak H. Obama administrations never had to close borders because SARS and Eboli was contained and never effect the health of the American people and never disrupted the American economy.

The CDC and NIH were IGNORED by the Trump administration were ignored for an entire week during the most critical time in this exposure to SARS-CoV-2 THE BEGINNING.

The disaster took hold and the USA borders were closed to China. They are open now, there is freight coming and going between China and the USA. It was later that the borders were closed to Europe and SARS-CoV-2 migrated into New York without barriers. It was more than a month after that the southern borders were closed to South America and long after Miami was inundated by the virus.

This is a remarkable accomplishment and going forward it will make a huge difference in people afflicted with illness.

Most people respect reality.

Cal Cunningham needs to make amends to his wife for a weakness in their marriage.  Unfortunately, a woman that was supposed to help the campaign became a liability as she indulged her loneliness with a separation from her husband. Publishing any naked pictures on public forums by anyone is considered revenge porn.

Cunningham needs to provide an interview with a trusted journalist and if his wife will appear with him then all the better if she forgives him. If not, then she needs to decide about her marriage. He still needs to talk to North Carolinians. He has votes. He can't simply step out of the picture. Voting has already begun in North Carolina.

Cunningham will bring better outcomes to North Carolinians. Tom Tillis has a strong track record that sells out the best interests of North Carolinians for big money from cronies. North Carolinians deserve better and Cal Cunningham needs to respect that, too.
