Oh, yes, this is nothing short of a lecture to the media that insists on depriving joy to a President that continues to try to win over country, but, falls short because of the 'news being turned into sports casting.’

The Black Community in the USA is a dedicated community to family and God.  They are always fighting for the right path for their children, unable to overcome the odds of wholesome living in a hostile environment.  They are some of the most devoted people to God I have ever witnessed and I grew up in a fairly devout Roman Catholic household.  

This country never gave President Obama the chance to be the pride of the African American Community.  Before he was inaugurated there were movements to defeat his plans to help the USA recover from eight years of exploitation and wrongful wars.  But, the African American Community of the USA was never spot lighted and this Harvard Lawyer was never to outshine anyone that came before him.


President Obama has never been militant a day in his life, he brings pride to this country and his method of 'governing' to attempt in any way he can to include all the people of the USA in a discussion that is benevolent and moves the country forward with confidence.


He is the pinnacle of Grace Under Fire.  No other modern day President has had to sustain the onslaught of viciousness the media has dished out.  Where President Obama is not respected and his reputation is 'leaned' into as a man without quality but simply enjoying the view; it is bigotry and racism talking.  When he is maligned for his faith and personal expressions of openness; it is a slam to every African American in the country.


I have never witnessed a media so inclined and so willing to treat a President as less than he is.  It could be the influence of the internet, but, it goes beyond that.  


President Obama does not have to prove himself as an ally to the Inner City or
Black Community.  He did that in Chicago.  He earned his stripes when he didn't have to and should have been soaking up a six figure salary straight out of Harvard.  


I don't know what it takes to be the First Lady to this President, but, she is special. She is lovely beyond expectations and a smile and faithful hand when none are found anywhere else.  She is above reproach and I'll be darnned if I can find her message from day to day anywhere in the media in this country.  She is drowned out by hate speech against her husband masquerading as political speech.  


This country should be ashamed for the political agenda of hate and misdirection by the Republican Party and their willingness to allow their own constituents to continue to believe hate and lies.  The AMERICA the Republicans portray is not the country I was raised in and it is not the vision I ever expected from a prominent political party.  


The Republicans are about extremism, about hate and about bringing down the Middle Class and Poor while we discard every safeguard available to them.  THAT is bigotry.  There is no other word.  The Middle Class may as well be aliens for the hate speech that victimizes unions as well as the 'idea' of good pay and benefits.  


Pitiful is not the word I would use to describe the ignorant and hate-filled discourse out of the RNC these days.  But, bigotry of many venues does define it well.  If the media doesn't have the guts to call a bigot a bigot then what good are they?

It is blockbusters and I continue to watch a wonder family take on the challenges of the modern day experience.  It is a great show.  I congratulate all the people that make this show possible.

WASHINGTON — Mark Amodei is getting some powerful Republican assistance on the campaign trail today: House Speaker John Boehner, the nation’s top-ranking member of the GOP, is coming to Reno.

It’s primarily a fundraising trip. Boehner is speaking at a $5,000 and $10,000 per-head breakfast for Amodei. Boehner won’t attend any public events as he did for Jane Corwin in New York’s 26th in May — the last closely contested special election, which Republicans lost in an upset.

Still, his visit will be the first official pairing of two men who don’t really see eye to eye on the biggest issues confronting the GOP since Amodei announced he would seek to fill the seat vacated by Dean Heller’s appointment to the U.S. Senate....

Mark was the favorite in the GOP in his Nevada district because he stated China will take over the USA if he was not voted into office.  Evidently, Mark is an expert on China and their aggressive campaign to invade the USA.

The Republican candidate (click here) for Nevada’s special congressional election has released his first ad and he makes one thing clear — vote for me or China will literally take over the United States.

Mark Amodei, who has served as the chairman of the Nevada GOP, recently became the Republican nominee for the state’s 2nd Congressional District. The ad itself, which will be featured in Reno markets, doesn’t go after any particular  candidate as Amodei doesn’t yet have a clear Democrat opponent. Not that it’s stopped Amodei from coming out strong....

People in Nevada must sleep well at night knowing Mark is 'at the helm' when it comes to the covert actions of China.  I know how they feel.  I was relieved when the Grand Dragon of the KKK was finally in a seat of power in DC.  No one would believe the truth about that either.


Mark prefers that confused look in most of his official pictures.  That works for him given his constituency and their 24 hour lifestyles.

So, the only question I have is how much money is coming in to his campaign dinner from covert donors backed by China?  $5,000 to $10,000 a plate.  That is a lot of China.

Rather than adding jobs, the study found, the sector actually lost 492 positions from 2003 to 2010 in the South Bay, where the unemployment rate in June was 10.5 percent.

Federal and state efforts to stimulate creation of green jobs have largely failed, government records show. Two years after it was awarded $186 million in federal stimulus money to weatherize drafty homes, California has spent only a little over half that sum and has so far created the equivalent of just 538 full-time jobs in the last quarter, according to the State Department of Community Services and Development….

The federal efforts have failed?  Well.  I am not surprised the state efforts are failing then because whom on the federal level has coordinated these efforts? 

Upfront costs to any homeowner is an issue regardless of solar panels or not.  Why was it that Cash for Clunkers was such a successful program?  By some chance was it because it had an Auto Czar?  Ya think.  But, wait wasn't the Car Czar a White Guy?  I think he was.

...Ron Bloom, car czar for the Obama adminstration, says the federal government is looking to sell of its remaining shares of General Motors as quickly as possible, and personally, he's looking to buy a new Dodge Durango.

That's not to say he's playing favorites.

GM launched its initial public stock offering in November, allowing the federal government to recoup another $13.6 billion from the 2009 bailout. To date, the Treasury has recovered almost half of the $49.5 billion it invested.

As it stands, the government retains a 37 percent stake in GM, but speaking with reporters Tuesday during a tour of the Detroit auto show, Bloom said the Treasury is looking to get out of the business all together....


Well, hell and tar-nation how come President Obama could not find a White Guy to run the Green Jobs Program for the Inner City?  I hold him responsible for not finding a White Guy and therefore the failure of the program.  Absolutely.  I mean just because he is the President and believes he has to follow some "Equal Opportunity" principle that is the law of the land doesn't he know yet that isn't the way Washington works?

I sincerely believe the militants of Gaza have to be stopped.  They are at the root of the disruption and now they are armed with missiles and not just rockets.  Gaza is not sincerely part of Palestine.  It has gone on its own path and seeks no productive dialogue with Israel or Fatah.

DAMASCUS, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad replaced his ailing defense minister on Monday in the context of recent shake-up covering a number of officials, the official SANA news agency reported.

Al-Assad has named Lt. Gen. Dawoud Bin Abdullah Rajha as the new defense minister replacing Ali Habib, said SANA, adding that the replacement came following a number of meetings with popular delegations and citizens.

Habib, 72, named as defense minister in 2009, was removed due to deteriorating health situation, said SANA.

Rajha, 64, a military college graduate, was head of a number of administrations and bodies of the armed forces before being appointed as deputy chief of staff in 2004. In 2009, he was named as the army's chief of staff.

Meanwhile, a military source said army units, entitled to bring back life to normalcy in the restive province of Hama in central Syria, have started evacuating the city after they "fulfilled a qualitative mission" there by protecting the lives of residents and tracking down armed and terrorist groups, which have brought life there to a standstill and committed a lot of sabotaging acts...

I happen to believe China is correct to be prudent about their currency.  Their economic growth is rapid and somewhat unstable.  While everyone expects great success for the Chinese economy it is still untested on a sustainable basis.  The Chinese don't want to lose what they have gained and I don't blame them.  They need to change any dynamic within their growth as a rate that stabilizes as the country's booming economy grows.  The willingness of the Chinese to now look at the value of their currency is more than encouraging.  The fact they see a link between a healthy US economy and their own is not only correct but a realization they are not blind to their place in the global market.

BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden arrived in Beijing Wednesday evening, kicking off his six-day official visit to China.

The stock markets are reacting to global concerns and not just US job numbers.

When the USA job losses are significant it can make the reality about the rest of the global economies all to real and not speculative.


Some of the USA job numbers is due to end of season temporary work, but, I also believe the people being called 'new' to the unemployment situation are actually repeatedly returning to unemployment because companies are finding it more cheaper to hire temporary and contract workers rather than permanent employees.


There is a problem with unemployment globally because of cheap products putting long standing manufacturers out of business.  


For every unemployed worker in the global market place there is economic contracture.  In small and isolated instances that does not mean much, but, on long term and consistent basis that is a problem.

...New Zealand Comfort Group (click here) general manager Chris Taylor said Dunlop Living's furniture division had been devastated by competition from cheap imports and the global economic downturn and its bed manufacturing would be shifted to Sleepyhead's plant at Otahuhu.

Taylor said the furniture division could not be supported as a "long-term sustainable business model".

Representatives of New Zealand Comfort Group met with Dunlop Living staff yesterday to let them know how they would be affected by the restructuring of the business....

I have to question whether global unemployment numbers and dynamics  should be explored at the World Trade Organization.

There has been a shift by Wall Street to produce products cheaply in countries where people work for impoverished wages.  India and China are seeing higher manufacturing rates, but, yet the quality of life of their people lag behind in that reality.  Labor does not equate to quality of life.


The governments and critics of The Globalists can say what they want, but, the demonstrators have a point at times that cannot be understated.


The problem of course is that established capitalistic societies as found in Europe and North America have a difficult time competing with impoverished labor.  There needs to be an equation countries like China and India have to meet in order to participate in a real way in the global market place.  That means the people working to produce the goods these countries sell improve their quality of life, education and health.  What is occurring instead is the 'cheap labor market' is literally destroying the global economies.  If there aren't good standards of living and quality of life there is NO market place for goods as everyone is poor and unable to achieve status.

...Moreover, Strauss-Kahn said unemployment marginalizes people from society and even undermines their belief in institutions and democracy.


IF one looks objectively at the goals of capitalism it is actually a self-defeating strategy.  It is to make higher profits while reducing costs.  Well some of that cost is the very labor that participates in the market place where goods are purchased.  When Capitalists don't hire people and mechanize and downsize and seek cheap labor markets they in turn are destroying their own market places.


Labor unions are not the problem.  Labor unions when they are as concerned for a company and its MARKET SHARE can be good partners in maintaining a healthy market place.  The quality of life Labor Unions bring to the table of any negotiation has to be as important as the products the company produces and why they need to be taken seriously and treated like parasites.  Labor Unions are not parasites, they have a very important role in insuring safe working conditions, good wages, health benefits and retirement provisions.  How can any worker make a life time commitment to a job without some sort of reassurance that retirement will be maintained in the standard of living and quality of life they are accustomed.


Capitalism is not the friend of the market place if it is draconian to labor.  It just isn't.  It is also draconian to governments when companies and the wealthy do not participate in sovereign issues that provide stability and solvency to governments.


I have to laugh when I hear comments that blame on problems in the market place.  You know, I've never been handed a fist full of money by the government after they printed it and told to distribute this.  Have you?  So, how does the money get from the government's WEALTH to reinvestment in the private sector?  How do contracts become 'real income' to companies that supply services to the government.  The government is the people.  It's silly to blame a 'philosophy' as the reason for economic trouble.  There is no law in the country stating Keynesian Economics is required in every market place the USA government participates.  By the way, without Keynesian Economics how does the government participate in the market place and receive services?

Keynesian economics (click here) is a theory of total spending in the economy (called aggregate demand) and its effects on output and inflation.   Although the term has been used (and abused) to describe many things over the years, six principal tenets seem central to Keynesianism. The first three describe how the economy works….

The fact of the matter is there are larger dynamics at work on the USA economy that is observed globally and it has been nearly impossible for the USA to push back against falling incomes to their Middle Class and Poor.  That isn't good.  The American Way DICTATES there is a ladder to success for everyone and that door is rapidly closing.  So while the Executive Branch is doing everything it can to prevent further contracture of an economy that has impact on global conditions there are elements with the legislative branch that simply plays politics without any solutions for the concerns of the Executive Branch.  Cutting taxes for the wealthy in HOPES that USA labor markets will increase is idiocy when there are global forces at work to prevent that.


I don't care if politically no one wants to look at these realities.  They are realities and until they are addressed it will be increasingly difficult to 'drive' the USA economy back to health and vitality in the way we understood it before 2007 and 2008.  


What I believe happened during the Bush/Cheney administration is that "W" looked across the labor wasteland of the USA and saw no jobs being created.  He also knew his USA policies would drive economies outside the USA to flourish.  So, "W" and his administration 'took an attitude' that every American could be a million if they could own a house.  Right.  So, how to Americans maintain house payments without expanding job markets?  The strategy of the Bush/Cheney administration was designed to support the perception of a growing economy while in fact it was literally creating debt that would skyrocket.  No one is going to tell me Bush didn't know this was occurring.  It was occurring in his administration and it was covered up to some extent by exorbitant spending by the federal government. 


The challenge now is to recover the USA economy, stabilize it against the global tide to have it otherwise and protect the jobs it creates.  The global economy, including Europe, has to participate in policies that protect their economies as much as they see the military as a requirement to protect their sovereign borders.  It is the same thing and a country cannot have one without another.  There are very clear reasons to view agreements within the WTO include fair wages for work, growing economies and stable sovereign countries.  It is ridiculous to see it otherwise..

See the Petroleum Industry and Murdoch's FOX News wants to call the USA government liars.

It always looked like a woodpecker to me.

The point is that Murdoch's FOX is always the 'poisoned pill' media without sincerely BALANCING anything.  The federal government is not lying.  The FOX network treats the Federal AUTHORITY as if it were some kind of SINISTER PLOT against every business enterprise in the country.  The truth of the matter is there is federal legislation that dictates the actions of its agencies requiring them to protect Threatened and Endangered Species.

No Longer on the "Endangered Species List."

The Tennessee purple coneflower (click title to entry for video about the come back of this Tennessee flower) that was among the first group of plants ever listed as endangered has rebounded to a healthy status after three decades.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife plans to officially remove the wildflower by Sept. 2, from its list of plants that are near extinction.

“The Tennessee coneflower’s recovery is an example of what can be achieved through the combined efforts of dedicated partners,” said Cindy Dohner, the Service’s Southeast Regional Director, in an emailed announcement.

Long-term recovery efforts of multiple agencies and groups made it possible, she said. They include the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, The Nature Conservancy, the Tennessee Division of Forestry, the National Park Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers….

In this exchange alone he exhibits hatred for military members serving openly as gay. Then he akins the removal of DADT with Hassan and the violence at Fort Bragg and how ? INMIDATED ? subordinate officers were in dealing with Hassan's reality. He portrays a man afraid of the hierarchy of THE COMMAND when it comes to any ? problem ? due to repealing DADT as ? existed ? with Hassan and his actions at Fort Hood.  Hell, I didn't know Hassan was gay.  Oh, yeah, he wasn't.  

All day today the Murdoch Manufacturing Media went all to far and Allen West was a willing participant at the end of the day regarding 'The Black Man in the Black Bus."

Perhaps, unlike other Murdoch Superstars West didn't realize that his GOP was campaigning in Iowa and it was there that President Obama saw it best to discuss the fact Washington, DC's GOP is grossly dysfunctional.  Seems logical to me.  If one wants to make an impression on his opposition take to their neighborhood.  YA KNOW?

The MYTHOLOGY of Murdoch and his blond bombshells were attempting to enlist high profile members of the American Black Community in condemning President Obama in riding around the country in his Black Bus without going into Black Neighborhoods.

Hello? But, ah, did any of the GOP do that?   I mean Uncle Tom wouldn't be caught dead in a Black Bus now would he?  Or she depending on whether one is discussing Palin or not.  Oh, I forgot, she is one of those White Women again.

Not only that but the idiocy that is MURDOCH's Media where a white woman named Laura Ingram fills in for a White Man named Bill O'Reilly then conducts ? news commentary ? regarding the deeply troubled rumblings of the American Black Community while Uncle Tom Allen West simply serves his TEA BAGGER Masters on FOX by agreeing with every aspect of this hideous conversation is too outrageous to ignore. Maybe that was the purpose as they are trying to start a political dialogue that will be a wedge issue and serve to 'DIVERT' the attention of SOMEONE from the issues of the day.


I find Allen West unworthy to serve anywhere near Generals, as his comments at the committee level of condescending as if Generals can't think for themselves.  I find him unworthy to serve in the US House of Representatives as he is a religious bigot where it serves his political ambitions and a homophobe that is dangerous to our nation's security as he continues to attempt to find fault where there is none in regard to the removal of DADT.  I mean for real already, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" sounds like a Kindergarten allegiance.


So, the Uncle Tom's at FOX need to realize the stupidity outweighs any of their ? commentary ? and they are outragously out of line.  President Obama left Harvard Law School and served as a community organizer and then was elected to the Senate.  Hello?  He worked within the community on the South Side of Chicago once referred to a "The Black Belt."  I do believe he knows something about racism, oppression and the strife and suffering of the American Black Community.


Allen West should return to Military RETIREMENT where he can play with his guns all day long without hurting anyone.
