October 5, 2005. Minneapolis, Minnesota. Photographer states :: The most water I've seen come over the falls. Thanks to around 5 inches of rain overnight.

October 5, 2005. Calimesa, California. Photographer states :: near Calimesa, CA/ Highway 60 and 10 is a new fire. Came about at 3:00pm and look how it is only an hour later- whew! A big flare up of flame! probably 100 feet tall flames

October 5, 2005. Calimesa, California. Photographer states :: This fire came about at about 3:00pm, photo taken at 4:00pm- at over 100 acres, mile long fire line. It is located near Calimesa, CA. Santa Ana winds- gusts to 75mph- can't help the fire fighting efforts

October 6, 2005. 0730z. The patterns haven't changed in that the vortices are still dominating the weather patterns. The storm 'Stan' is bigger than every and if the dynamics are true to form an interesting counter storm in "Tammy" will form in the Gulf - Florida - Atlantic corridor weakened only by land masses. All these storms are obviously eddies to the North Atlantic vortex.  Posted by Picasa

October 5, 2005. The falling snow in Carman, Canada. The photographer states :: Here is the grain elevator across the road from our house this afternoon.

October 5, 2005. Carman, Canada. Photographer states :: First snow of the year! Happened before anything could even be killed by frost. It's been snowing all day here, hydro flickering on and off as I type. Very windy. Road conditions - deteriorating.

October 6. 2005. The polar votex has broken down into primarily two vortices. The two that originally showed up three years ago on October 4, 2002. I'll be darn. It's too much to hope for that this is a reversal. The North Pacific Vortex is at 8 o'clock and the North Atlantic Vortex is at 3:30. Hurricane 'Tammy'' is at 5:30 all the way to the periphery of this satellite photo as the 'curve' of Florida can be noted. Greenland is easily discerned. The North Pacific Vortex reaches nearly half way around the Globe. It's trailing end is at 12:00.  Posted by Picasa

October 6, 2005. The system known as 'Stan' actually contains 'Tammy.' Stan has crossed the Yukatan and reformed it's strength. That is the atypical turbulence at the equator in the water vapor staellites below. Holy smokes.  Posted by Picasa

October 6, 2005. 0230z.

The Arctic Vortices are huge and highly ionized. They are mostly migrated to the higher latitudes with a strong pull against the equatorial aire masses primarily because they are hotter and less dense air than the vortices. Posted by Picasa

October 6, 2005. 0330 z.

What a mess. The Arctic Vortices are huge. The entire equatorial dynamics are connected to the northern ice and it's demise.

The convection system characterized as "Tammy" (Named after the woman Bush had an affair with but no longer can be found anywhere so that people won't think of that name in the same way.) extends from southwest of Cuba in the 'hot zone' where all these storms are being spawned to Virginia and beyond in a 'rotating' system that actually has an 'eye' at Apalachicola. It's a funnel system that reaches to lower altitudes by high latitudes at the same time. The equatorial dynamics are unlike anything I've seen before. the movement of air south from Central America is a surprise. The North Atlantic Vortex is all the way to the northeast corner of the global view. There is something going on with the pole. Posted by Picasa

Jeb Eddy. Evidently, he was a sick as sick could be of the entire mess at this point. You know. When one lives in a cesspool you are going to come up smelling like shit. I don't know how any Repuglican can hold their heads up realizing how misguided ALL the priorities of this administration was and continues to be.  Posted by Picasa

They made a killing. No pun intended. If Bush and Cheney thought for one minute their crony practices deserved loyalty they were sadly mistaken. It is corruption. There is no other definition for 'crony.' The people of this nation with a conscience won't stand for it.  Posted by Picasa
