Personal Sovereignty

Rarely do Americans think of personal sovereignty. It surrounds our lives everyday. The Rule of Law operates within the BOUNDARIES of personal sovereignty. It is most often realized in laws that protect Americans’ safety, in lawsuits where bodily injury occurs, trespassing laws of personally owned property, and Americans practice personal sovereignty when they treat their bodies reverently with good health practices as simple as using a personal toothbrush.

The rights enshrined in the First Amendment exhibit personal sovereignty as guaranteed by the USA Constitution. The one impingement of personal sovereignty is with Freedom of Religion.

Imagine a bubble around you called The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. That bubble allows for personal worship of religion. What that bubble does not provide for is forced acceptance of any religion or religious practices. That hacking away of personal sovereignty has been a priority of Republicans as they demand forced acceptance of an unwanted pregnancy or a fetus struggling that creates danger and quite possibly life threatening danger to a woman’s life.

That bubble is chronically under attack by this administration and Congress. That is why Americans are upset and getting more upset. Their personal sovereignty is under attack. Americans need to recognize those uncomfortable feelings for what they are and ACT on them to remove what is basically bad governance by the elites in power.

Americans must identify those causing such alarm and the value systems that attack us. Then. They have to be eliminated with elections and lawsuits and criminal charges.

Ethics are paramount to healthy personal sovereignty. The ethics need enforcement and recognition, too.
