Will the USA CIA please see what is possible to assist an ally achieve relief from a heinous terrorist?

Europe is composed of many governments with small geographical footprints. Much like the Middle East. Battles to protect the people happen in 'meters' not 'kilometers.' It would be good if allies worked diligently to achieve goals that remove terrorists from circulation.

If Jordan has a reason to try his man then he needs to be returned to Jordan. The USA intelligence and State Department should do what is reasonably legal and possible to achieve the goals of countries simply trying to keep their citizens safe.

...The British government (click here) has been trying to deport Abu Qatada for the past seven years. Theresa May, home secretary, has suffered several setbacks as she tried to deport the cleric in the face of concerns that evidence obtained by torture could be used against him if he was sent back to Jordan to face terror charges.


“We are absolutely determined to see this man get on a plane and go back to Jordan. He does not belong here,” Mr Clegg told ITV’s Daybreak on Tuesday.
“He should not be in this country; he is a dangerous person. He wanted to inflict harm on our country and this coalition government is going to do everything we can to challenge this every step of the way to make sure that he is deported to Jordan,” he said.

Keith Vaz, the Labour chair of the Home Affairs select committee, also condemned the ruling and said ministers should work with Jordan to overturn the decision....
