The LNG (liquified natural gas) produced from hydraulic fracturing is NOT for USA consumption.

India’s Petronet is talking to Cheniere Energy and Freeport for liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies, Chief Executive A. K. Balyan said on Thursday, as the U.S. companies progress towards exports.

...U.S. companies (click title to entry - thank you) are looking to export to major importers for the first time in over forty years as the country’s shale gas deposits give it flexibility for overseas sales.

Cheniere received approval to export natural gas to such buyers in May but still needs a licence to be granted....

...The impending commissioning of the LNG terminal (click here) make Kochi a suitable location for a ship-repair facility that can service commercial vessels, offshore supply and service vessels, Coast Guard and Naval vessels, port service vessels and dredgers. It would be possible to dock 30-40 vessels annually under the normal circumstances considering a product mix of only underwater hull inspection, cleaning and painting of hull to special survey repairs.

Creating a dry dock suitable for 25,000 DWT vessels and 12,000 sq.m of supporting workshop area and an effluent treatment plant are part of the proposal for the new yard....


The dangers of putting an LNG port in India cannot be understated.  If the global community thought the Mumbai attacks were bad, consider what could happen here.

I hope the US Infrastructure Bank secures jobs for Americans with sincere American Small Business.

There should be regulation controlling these funds to be used by American Small Businesses who hire American citizens.  This fund should not be contaminated by large corporations that spend their income abroad and rob Americans of the right to have investment in their own country.  Small American Businesses keep their profits in the USA.  Yes, it is protectionist.  You Betcha it is.  


The United States of America infrastructure protections and development should have the dignity of receiving the best the USA has to offer from its own people.

The USA Infrastructure Bank became a high priority to President Obama three years ago.  The demand by states for monies from the Recovery Act was a clear indication such a bank was necessary.  


There is a potential there is interest from private capital to support the Bank.  Carlyle is among the investment firms seeking to be a part of the venture.

After news emerged that Michele Bachmann seeks occasional treatment for migraines, most candidates left the issue alone. Now Tim Pawlenty is implying it may limit her ability to serve.

The story of Rep. Michele Bachmann’s struggle with migraine headaches has elicited an outpouring of compassion, especially from other women – regardless of their politics – who face this challenge....

I mean honestly.  If the men are going to insist you have health issues in their opinion, maybe all the candidates should be transparent and put their health records in full view of the electorate.  It seems rather one sided that the woman in the field is the only one being held up to scrutiny.  This is all confidential information anyway, between, patient and physician.  At least that is what the GOP always claims is important, the sanctity of the patient - doctor relationship.  So, like, what is the openness and hypocrisy about?


If the Republican candidates for President are scared of Rep. Bachmann actually getting the nomination, then they need to debate the issues and put all their cards on the table and let the people decide.  Picking on Michele is not only bad sportsmanship it is sexist and underhanded.  Everyone know the 'traditional stereotype' of women is one of 'monthly' disabilities to keep them from achieving their goals and job responsibilities.  Certainly, Mr. Rove and Mr. Pawlenty are playing the 'monthly card,' now are they?


Michele Bachmann is 'the common sense' candidate.  She runs on that premises and she never wavers from it.  I have a problem with that 'idea' as governing is more complicated than common sense, but, hey I'm just a voter.  I have a problem with the extremism of the Tea Party, Rep. Bachmann's chosen affiliation.  Their views are under informed and too harsh.  But, it was the RNC that brought the 'average' person into the party to water down the image of 'the country club' candidate.  Now, it is inconvenient for the RNC to bring in these people as potential candidates other than House and Senate where they have to sign pledges!


The 'headache' issue is sexist.  Plain and simple.  I suggest the GOP get on with the task of nominating and getting on record for the issues.  That is straight forward and no one should be victimized for pursuing that path.

Wall Street cares nothing about morality, crime or anticipated outcomes except where it 'makes money.'  To Wall Street, the Murdochs demonstrated yesterday they were able to contain the scandal and contain the damage.  That is all they care about.  They don't care about whether there was "W"rong doing or anything else, they care about whether or not News Corp is going to continue to make money.  


In that reality of Wall Street. and it is their reality, their focus and their goals lies the profound reality they are criminals before valuable entities of society and the Supreme Court gave them citizen rights?  I don't think so.


See, the British Panel yesterday was interested in understanding that there was damage control in a corporate environment that LAUNDERED their testimony for protectionism.  As one of the panel members tried to have the Murdochs undertand, there was a 'collective blindness,' common thread and a 'group think' that authorities found was unhelpful to investigation.  THAT is criminality in case no one recognizes it and it is applauded by Wall Street in returns of the value of market shares.

...Instead of finding (click title to entry - thank you)  a signal that this was the beginning of the end of Rupert Murdoch'’s run at the helm of his company, analysts stressed that there was no single revelatory moment during the proceedings. If the Murdochs seemed at times distant, even oblivious, to what was going on in their own company, there were no obvious admissions of wrongdoing or glaring contradictions in their testimony, analysts said.

“This was the best day these guys have had in a really long time,” said David Bank, media analyst for RBC Capital Markets. “No shoe dropped, no smoking gun was found, it all sort of sounded kind of contained.”

After losing billions of dollars in market value, the News Corporation’s stock recovered a significant chunk of its value on the Nasdaq, rising almost 6 percent during the day to close at $16.25 a share. And after Mr. Murdoch and his son James concluded two hours of often tense testimony to a House of Commons committee, there was little of the widespread scorn that has greeted almost everything the Murdochs have said and done in the more than two weeks since the most recent voice mail hacking scandal at News Corporation’s British newspaper operation erupted…. 

Does Wall Street understand the definition of COLLUSION?  If they do, then they don't care and/or hope to have laws changed to benefit them rather than actually have laws that uphold the integrity of society.

Milly Dowler is somebody.  If it has to be put into 'economic' terms and 'terms of greed,' then Milly Dowler is the future Prime Minister of Great Britain that would have turned the corner on every demand of Wall Street and now she is gone.  

Whether the phone hacking endangered the search by police or not is now as debatable as ever.  But, one thing is for sure.  Rupert Murdoch's News Corp compromised the evidence the police were examining and it probably effected the 'tone' of the investigation and the methods they were pursuing while they believed the girl was still alive and potentially able to reach them or her family.  Being alive means she could have been playing games or otherwise.  The hacking compromised the process and potentially compromised the outcome for Milly Dowler and her family.

Rupert Murdoch's News Corp puts themselves above the law and self righteously so.  They believe they can answer the public's need for answers and portrays the government as incompetent when it ii they that are. 

I sincerely believe Jan Brewer seeks the spotlight for her own ambitions. She needs to get over herself.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer defended that state’s tough immigration law Saturday, saying she thinks it is preferable to the course that Utah took and insisting the state has not suffered an economic backlash from its passage.

“I am very, very supportive and believe Senate Bill 1070 is the right way to go and believe eventually it will be held up as the law,” Brewer said.

Fearing the fallout that Arizona suffered after passing its tough immigration bill, Utah lawmakers opted for a less stringent enforcement bill and included a first-of-its-kind state-based guest-worker bill….

What occurred in Utah were vigilantes took the law into their own hands and victimized vulnerable people with the desired weight of the Utah and Federal government.  That is hideous.

In Utah's Latino community, "The List" is causing a panic.

The 29 page printout includes the names of 1300 Utah residents of Latinodescent with their addresses, phone numbers, workplaces and in some cases social security numbers.

Utah officials said that they have identified at least two state workers who accessed confidential documents that may have been used to create the list. The workers were from the Department of Workforce Services.

A group called Concerned Citizens of the United States mailed the list this week to media outlets and law enforcement agencies demanding the immediate deportation of those named.

"Some of the women on the list are pregnant," the cover letter warned. "And steps should be taken for immediate deportation."

In the letter, the group writes that they "observe these individuals in our neighborhoods, driving on our streets, working in our stores, attending our schools and entering our public welfare buildings."

They go on to write, "They need to go and go now."…

Utah could become the first state in the nation with its own guest worker program that would grant permits to undoumented immigrants and allow them to continue living and working in the state legally.

The measure passed the Republican-controlled state legislature late Friday as part of a bipartisan deal that also includes an enforement law, requiring police to check the immigration status of suspects in felony or serious misdemeanor cases.

Republican Gov. Gary Herbert praised lawmakers for crafting a so-called "Utah solution" to the state's illegal immigraiton problem but has not said whether he will sign the bills.

The federal government would need to grant a waiver to allow Utah to permit immigrant workers who would otherwise not be legally present in the United States. Such a waiver would be unprecedented, and it's unclear whether a mechanism exists for the state to request one.

Still, passage of the legislation -- in a red state, in a part of the country most affected by illegal immigration -- is significant….

I have to say Israel was very smart about the recent Gaza Flotilla, there were reports from "Ha'aretz" on board the French yacht. Courageous.

Three missile ships and seven commando boats were sent to take over the tub known as the Dignite Al Karame yesterday, about 50 nautical miles from the shore.
At least 150 soldiers were sent to sea early in the morning to prevent the 10 civilian activists, the three crew members and the three journalists on the "freedom flotilla" from reaching Gaza's port….

 The Gaza Blockage activists have achieved their goal.  They made the Israeli government pay attention to the humanitarian plight of the people in Gaza.  The Israeli government also had to examine their intervention that caused tragedy last year and change their approach to insure a good outcome for everyone.  There are still questions of sabotage with a ship from Ireland (Which Ireland's people commonly seek to bring relief to others.) that is in question, but, so far the changes that have come to bear by successfully bringing attention to the people of Gaza by the Flotilla and its organizers are successful.  

Israel is always interested in 'doing the right thing.'  It is sometimes their methods that have to be refined through its own scrutiny which is a stumbling block to its government.

I congratulate the Gaza Flotilla and the Israeli government for successful events, both have been necessary.

BEND, Ore. -- Bend resident Tim Collette is losing the home he's shared with his son to foreclosure. Aaron, who is fighting in Iraq, comes home on leave August 19th, only 10 days after his father will lose his home. And now Aaron's father is asking his bank to delay the move -- with many on his side.

The story continues to get coverage all across the country. Now, over 100,000 people have signed an online petition asking the bank to stop the scheduled foreclosure.

All Tim Collette wants is a home for his son to come back to.

Since 2006, Aaron Colette and his father Tim have had a place to call home. Now that home on NE Boyd Court is going into foreclosure….

There is a new Consumer Protection Agency in Washington, DC that can actually do something about this.  It can enforce existing laws, it can recommend new laws to the President and it can balance the assault on the American Dream.  I strongly suggest the President's nominee to that position be approved on a 'Fast Track" through Congress.  The USA economy needs it, the morale of the people need it and the USA military needs it.

While the nomination of Richard Cordray as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau came with little fanfare, the process of actually installing President Obama's pick will indubitably be loud and contentious. At the heart of the CFPB strife is the most basic of partisan fights, a debate over which is less trustworthy: big government or big business. Even in an election cycle dominated by unemployment and the debt ceiling, the bureau may become yet one more way for Republican candidates to prove their conservative credentials....

While News Corp is undergoing scrutiny, the world is still spinning.

As far as Rupert Murdoch and his 'idea' that Great Britain, the US and Australia is better for their variety of newspapers, his effectiveness has outlived its purpose.

The News Corp 'model' might work for a society entrenched in obstructive government, but, in sincere democracies it assaults its very foundation.  


A few items are important as well, the housing foreclosure topic needs immediate attention, the Gaza Flotilla has been safety interrupted by Israel and the recent Governor's conference has highlighted a new Utah Guest Workers Program meeting with approval, except, for ? Arizona ? again?

Sovereign Debt is not a bank loan. Let's start there.

To the left is a picture of The Great Wall of China.  It is a national treasure and a national asset.  No one can buy and sell the Great Wall of China, it belongs to the people of China.


In a diplomatic act China and the USA came together over a common denominator.  Let's say we admired their potential for economic growth and purchasing our products.  There is a 'trust' relationship in that diplomatic act that cannot be violated, otherwise, all kinds of problems erupt.  


The reason China loans the USA money and the reason China has so much economic interest in the USA is because of our assets, our people, our belief in them and the relationship that has existed from the time that diplomatic act engaged the relationship.


The reason the Great Wall of China is a national asset is because it earns money through tourism and as a landmark for China.  There is a great deal to admire in The Great Wall of China and that wins certain interests that are not even tourism.  The USA has the same thing in their National Parks.  


China loaned the USA money because they believed the USA would be an ally in economic development for a long time.  In that 'understanding' was that China would have the right to market their products in the USA to build an economy domestically in China.


China felt SECURE in loaning the USA money because there is a RELATIONSHIP that China controls that benefits the Chinese people.  Their products come to the USA, the American people purchase them, within that dynamic is an element of SECURITY in the monetary loans to the USA.  China has a VESTED  INTEREST in the USA's domestic economy as well as their own and therefore they have continued the RELATIONSHIP to support the lending needs to the USA.  


China is not a democracy.  It is a communist country with no desire to go to war with anyone quite frankly.  The USA gave China the technology to assist in a Chinese Space Program that is the pride of Chinese prosperity.  A space program is a symbol of security, national pride and power and the sovereignty of the people.  It is a modern day technology that no one ever dreamed the Chinese people would be capable of even launching, yet alone building.  The same was true of the Olympic games held there.  They are accomplishments that make statements to the world of the capacity of the Chinese people.


This is going to sound 'counter-intuitive' but China is a very benevolent country.  A little naive at times, but, benevolent in their 'interest' in most other countries in the world.  We don't really approve of the power the Chinese have mastered on all venues because if feels like a threat to us, but, the willingness of the Chinese to have an interest in the USA's economy is a benevolent act especially to the extent China has invested in us. 


I am not referring to just the monies we owe, but, also to the 'interest' China has in the USA economy that directly feeds the Chinese people, both literally and figuratively.


So the 'idea' that we can 'starve the beast' of the USA economy in some hideous idea about an austerity agenda is not just foolish, it is incompetent and very under informed.  If hatred is dominating the legislative agenda in the House then there is profoundly huge problems facing the USA that someone needs to resolve.  This is a dynamic no one wants to breach.  I promise you.


If the world witnesses the "Fall of the USA" that leads to impoverishment of its people while their own economies waste away, they won't stand by silently to witness it.  I am fairly confident of that.  The first 'symbol' of hostilities is removal of diplomats.  This is no joke.  Japan is an ally engaged in the same dynamic and their country cannot tolerate the destruction of the USA economy.  Japan won't simply wring their hands and allow their country to sustain more and more stress.  


This is a dynamic that no one should be playing with and the politics should never have been introduced at all.

Rep. Mo Brooks: I'll do "anything short of shooting" illegal immigrants (click title to entry - thank you)

…"Anything that is lawful, it needs to be done because illegal aliens need to quit taking jobs from American citizens," Brooks said in an interview with Alabama television station WHNT, an excerpt of which was posted to YouTube….

Mo Brooks is not a competent legislator.  I still can't believe the RNC was a party to this disaster in the House.


This was his statement about illegal immigrants.  To him they are objects of anger and not human beings.  That might expose a ‘clue’ to why he believes there is no problem with the nation’s debt ceiling now.  He wants to pay all obligations to creditors and remove over $1.4 Trillion from the USA economy. 

While I admire the idea that Americans can stand on their own, their economy cannot stand on its own and the debtors that we pay will actually feel the removal of the $1.4 Trillion from the USA economy that pays the government’s obligations to the country and in turn can’t pay their debtors or participate with disposable income.

The idea is extremely naïve and under informed.  There is just no way the American people should be treated as objects rather than human beings. 

The Tea Baggers have a problem.  They are not able to understand the way the USA economy’s dynamics actually contribute to a larger picture that if unable to pay their domestic obligations would impact the global economy and the outcome would be catastrophic.

Anger should never replace reason.   There is no reasoning in stating that dynamic as a reasonable choice for the USA.  It will also incur human rights violatoins against the people within the borders of the USA. 

There is a real problem here.  Someone needs to do something soon or we will have a disaster to the entire US economy and the global economy.   My thoughts are worse than what I write.  There are broad sweeping implications that makes Iraq and Afghanistan look benign.  I mean that.  Buoy.  WOW.  Mr. Brooks makes Bachmann look like a Rhodes Scholar.  WOW.I…I….IIIIIIiiiiiiiii…..

Eric Cantor has to go.  He is not competent and he is not a leader.  I hope the DNC is paying attention.  This is no joke.  These folks are estranging the identity of the USA to its global partners and its domestic populous.  They are dangerous people.  Very dangerous.

The President made a profound mistake. He actually believed, not thought, but believed the Legislature was competent.

Remember these folks?

The Simpson-Bowles Commission (click title to entry - thank you) ended its work in December of 2010.  What's the problem already?

The President doesn’t write and pass legislation.  He is the Executive Branch that carries out the business of the nation.  Doesn’t Speaker Boner know who and where the Treasury Secretary is?  Did he call for a commission regarding the debt and deficit as the President did?  When is the House going to pass the bill that increases the debt ceiling of the USA?  They haven’t sent a competent bill to the President to sign yet.  When is that going to happen?  The bills the House is passing are political action messages and not legislation this country can live with.  When will the House pass a bill the Senate will vote for?

GOVERNING is not about having a temper tandrum or demanding what extremists want, it is about writing and passing competent and independently produced legislation free of cronyism, deceptions and TRAPS that citizens will become ensnared in.  

What seems to be the problem?  Don't know how?  I doubt the President has time to give seminars or classes on how to accomplish it.

Why doesn't Boner ask Secretary Geithner to come and address the House?  That might be important right now.

The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.

Section 3 - State of the Union, Convening Congress

He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

Section 4 - Disqualification

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

I didn't care about the 'wait time' at all.  I was getting what I wanted the way I wanted it, the color I liked with the amenities specifically to order.  


The wait time was told to me by the salesman before I signed the contract and put down my down payment.  I then got financing and told the showroom they were guaranteed their money as soon as the vehicle arrived.  It took about six weeks from order to delivery.  


Local small business people don't need large inventories if they do custom work.  


Example:  Bridle dress.  If a person knows how to sew all the better, but, if a person knows how to taylor clothing, having suppliers that will work with custom orders will provide a clientele that will work for them.


Example:  Artists that can paint custom designs for homes and/or frame it can do the same thing.


It is about being an expert, adding quality of life to the local 'culture' and providing excellent customer service on everything.  


Customers have to be willing to allow creative input and time to secure what they want the way they want it.  It is about reliability and trust coupled with marketing techniques that work to attract the right consumer.


Store fronts eventually develop and a Main Street is not only alive but the place to be.  Social, communal creates meeting places and business.  


Competent local small business people grow economies, not tax breaks that will find a home overseas.


In Africa there are villages of women that produce products to sell in specialty stores the USA.  As their competency grows their products will become less expensive as more and more are produced and they will replace some lousy manufactured products.  The same can happen in the USA.  Can a group of women/men become a 'partnership' to have a store front of consumer items no one else carries in a quality no one else can match?  Yep.  


Example:  You would not believe the cupcake store that people flock to in our local area and pay $1.50 per cupcake and $6.50 for custom made.  It works.  People pay those prices and they love it.  Why?  Because it reflects who they are to the social gathering they purchase for.  Average Middle Class people pay those prices and the cupcake store can't keep up with the business.  Oh, they do specialty cakes on request, too.  No wedding cakes though.  At this point I don't believe they want the pressure or liability.  Just smart business sense.
