The once Great Democracy of the USA is now being used to "Play Chicken" in the House Legislature.

The Second Liberty Bond Act, (click title to entry - thank you) which helped finance U.S. participation in World War I, established a cap on federal debt in 1917 at the now-quaint level of $8 billion....

...Republicans are intent on extracting major concessions from the Obama administration in exchange for agreeing to lift the debt limit. They will play a game of debt-limit chicken with Geithner and President Barack Obama.
While administration officials would like the public to believe that political gamesmanship is unprecedented and irresponsible, the opposite is true. Debt-limit debates are commonplace and can be political theater at its finest....

While quibbling about the debt ceiling seems appropriate to some, it is grossly hideous for Republicans to even embark on the debate.
George Walker Bush was in office for eight years and seven of those years saw the debt ceiling increased.
From a Sept 2008 cbs story: "Buried deep in the hundred pages of bailout legislation is a provision that would raise the statutory ceiling on the national debt to $11.315 trillion. It'll be the 7th time the debt limit has been raised during this administration. In fact it was just two months ago, on July 30, that President Bush signed the Housing and Economic Recovery Act, which contained a provision raising the debt ceiling to $10.615 trillion."
The theatrics are political, aggressive and seek to feed the political fodder the Right Wing seems to thrive on these days.
The State of Union is coming up and the TWO rebuttals by two political factions in the USA will 'make theater' of very serious issues in this country.  They will mock the President and bring about disrespect.  So what else is new?  If the Right Wing truly loves the USA they will have ANSWERS and not rhetoric to solve the problems beset on this country by a run amok Republican majority for many, many years.
I do believe the Right Wing in the USA pride themselves on ACCOUNTABILITY.  I hope I hear plenty of it about THEIR responsibility to THE MESS we are all facing due to their irresponsibility, including the economic collapse and RESULTED 'Great Recession' which they never bothered to 'bailout.'

I suppose this is a role model for the elderly and their need to arm themselves now.

All Rush Limbaugh CONTINUALLY states is corruption in the Executive Branch of our government is the fact when one goes to "Google" and types in "Obamacare" the ONLY selection on  the page is the government website for "The Affordable Care Act" (click here).

Well, if you click the title to this entry it is completely obvious the President or the Secretary of Health and Human Services have NOT paid "Google" to direct every request for "Obamacare" to the government website.  See, Limbaugh has been selling for weeks how the notion that the White House is corrupt can be demonstrated because it pays "Google" to redirect traffic of heatlh care inquires stating "Obamacare" to ONE and only ONE government website.

I am sure by his broadcast tomorrow Limbaugh will be denying he ever said it and hopes the 'mention' of same will bring the listeners he is missing otherwise.

It would seem also a couple of lovely and personable senior women are 'targeted' by the Murdoch Media folks as 'proof' that elderly people need to be protected from Obamacare.  If one pays attention to the Right Wing Media they have made a VERY FALSE issue of 'death panels' and the mere appearances of Betty White and/or Joan Rivers is 'code' for 'empathy' for 'the now threatened elderly' under "The Affordable Care Act."

When is this harassment of the Ameican Public by the Right Wing Media going to stop?  They are nothing but lies that bring grossly inappropriate political pressure accompanied by the Pro-Gun Movement and Private Insurance Interests.

The Link I was hoping to put at the title won't be accepted becuase it is too long, so you try this yourself.  Click the title to go to "Google" and type in "Obamacare" and see what you get.  This is what I got in the first five of the list of 3,240,000 results in 0.17 seconds.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and Obama's plans for health care reform in general, is often nicknamed "Obamacare". The term was usually ...

Common LIES that are spoken DAILY by the Right Wing Media.  All day, every day.  It is a political strategy that ACTS AGAINST the electorate of the USA to bring about results that favor those they bestow favoritism on to promote a 'limited' and 'profitable for a few' view of the world.

I am standing in the background. That is my Dad.

It is a bit unfair to list this without really giving everyone his history and an insight to his personality, but, he was a great guy.  Served in the Air Force to the rank of Sergeant, fought in Korea, worked at a plant for thirty years, retired in comfort, had a wife with a career for twenty of the 56 years they were married, raised three daughters, saw them all through college, had four grandsons, two great-grandchildren that he knew of at the time of his death on October 11, 2010.  A third great-grandchild was born after he passed.  This picture was on his eightieth on September 9th.

My father died of metastatic lung cancer that only non-smokers contract.  Oddly it was a slow growing cancer as stated by the oncologists, yet his initial diagnosis was a Grade 4, 'end stage' tumor.

I guess we all have to go sometime.

I am not happy about that and gradually the rest of the family is beginning to wonder as well.

The 'thing' about the Hospice issue was NOT about 'killing grandma' it is about 'maturing' the Right to Die laws.

It goes like this.  The brave man that he was, he consented to give the family what we wanted.  We wanted him to stay with us as long as possible.  That is not frequently what occurs in cases like this and folks tend to decide to die without treatment.  As a matter of fact, a case extremely similar to my father's condition happened to a dear friend of mine, only he was age 78 and a smoker.  He was diagnosed for the first time with Grade 4 tumor.  Different type of tumor from my Father's tumor.

The Right To Die Laws are too harsh when they limit IV fluids.  My father would still be with us IF his 'Living Will' didn't limit the infusion (through an implanted port used for his chemo) of NORMAL SALINE during the time when he was not feeling well enough to eat and became dehydrated.  My Father died of dehydration and hypovolemia a week after his chemo was administered, NOT the cancer.

The Oncologists hands were tied when the Hospice Nurse called the MD with my Father's blood pressure.  He was in pain, confused and my mother's words over the phone when the MD called to clarify the Living Will was "We want him to be comfortable."  Those words were pre-programmed by my Father to my 75 year old Mother.  With that the physician ordered comfort only measures and he died within 12 hours after that conversation.  When I learned of the conversation it was too late and almost futile because my Mother was only 'coping' and not thinking.

While my father would have died 'in time', it wasn't expected to happen for at least a year.  The entire circumstances surrounding my Father's death is unfortunate and my Mother does not realize her role in it from me or anyone else for as long as she lives.

The Right to Die, Living Will or whatever you want to call it isn't LEGALLY MATURE yet.  When a patient wants NO EXTRAORDINARY measures that is important.  But, when they are submitting themselves for PALIATIVE treatment with radiation and chemotherapy, their Living Will needs to support that treatment modality without prolonging their lives on life support.  IV Normal Saline would have got him through a 'rough spot' when that is all he needed at the time.

The word 'respect' should mean something and it simply doesn't anymore. Anything goes.

The Green Bay Packers are going to the Superbowl.

I guess so.  With 1,017 pounds (click title to entry - thank you) of human flesh pointed at a Quarterback, is there any doubt what this is all about?

It isn't about football, it is about causing injuries and placing a human wall in the way of progress to the goal line.  There is no way a Quarterback can even attempt a running game with monsters like this on the other side of the scrimmage line.

This is a nightmare for any Quarterback who would like to have his 'first string' teammates make it to the 'end of the season, yet alone the Superbowl.

I don't watch professional ball anymore.  I used to be a huge fan when the game was played as the game was suppose to be played, but, between steriods and the lack of 'self respect' supposed 'heroes' are allowed by the so called Professional Leagues, such as this NFL team I don't find it interesting, yet alone a sport.

The professional leagues of any sport were once 'gentlepersons' sports.  It just ain't so anymore and it ADDS to the deterioration of the 'moral' content of the American Fabric.

These men are going to have health problems, but, damn that if the money is right.

Having 1000 pounds of flesh or more on any defense line should be outlawed, because, is it not 'good sportsmanship,' nor either are some of the 'attitudes' on the field, such as 'bumping' after the referees have called the play.

These people are supposed to be sports heroes and the First Lady actually thinks she is going to have an impact on childhood obesity?  I wish her the best of luck.

I won't be watching the Superbowl.  I suppose there is going to be more political activism like last year and that isn't why I would be tuning in, either.

Tom Landry was my idea of coaching.  I don't recall him being drenched with Gatorade either.

...The marchers (click here) then gathered in the Capitol rotunda to hear speeches from several anti-abortion speakers, including a physician and a priest. Speaking with two priests sitting behind him, Dave Daubenmire, a former football coach from Ohio, criticized churches for not opposing abortion strongly enough in recent years....

Since when does a coach hold a Doctorate of Divinity.

If the Pro-Lifers want a mission, they can start with violence against women and demand better outcomes for women that are raped but find no reason to prosecute because it simply makes their lives worse instead of better.  The Pro-Lifers can work on incest and all those ills that they simply 'handle' by demanding abortion be outlawed.

If the Pro-Lifers SOLVED social problems rather than causing them I might even find a way to admire the movement.

"In the course of human events..."

Anyone recognize those words?  Those words are not the words of a new nation yet, but, the plans to form one and take their freedom seriously.

Great orators were born during those years.  I find is oddly interesting that the people in the USA that claim to be 'the most patriotic' among their peers don't pride themselves on 'their oration,' but, on the words that promote their cronies and aggression.

Where have all the orators gone?

Certainly not into the GOP.

I suppose this was mental illness, too.

DETROIT (click title to entry - thank you) -- A gunman opened fire inside a Detroit police precinct on Sunday, wounding four officers including a commander before he was shot and killed by police, authorities said.
The gunman walked in through the precinct's revolving door around 4:20 p.m. with a pistol grip shotgun and opened fire, Sgt. Todd Eby, who was sitting at his desk in the precinct at the time of the shooting, told the Detroit Free Press. He said officers shot back at the gunman, killing him.
"Utter chaos and pandemonium took place," Police Chief Ralph Godbee said at a news conference. "We have a number of officers who are shaken up."
Godbee said the gunman has been identified but it was "too early to characterize" him while the investigation was ongoing....

Michigan just got a draconian Republican governor that basically deceived his way into the Governor's seat.  If 'cut backs' are what he has in mind, he needs to think again.

The Police Station is supposed to be the safest place in the entire city for officers.  Bullet proof glass, yet, this occurred.  So, now we are cop killers and not just assassins, huh?  In multiples.  This was the sort of thing we used to hear about from Iraq.  The police have every right to be rattled by this incident.  I guess the gunman is dead, huh?  I am sure he didn't expect to walk out, although in this day and age any belief about reality seems to be possible considering the 'tolerated lies' of the Right Wing Media.

Last night I sent the hours I sometimes enter on my blog on Saturday night flipping through the channels.  I am not a big fantasy person.  I watch documentaries and ‘live’ television, but, not really entertainment.  Entertainment has its place, but, in a way it is also fantasy.  It is an escape really.

At any rate, last night as I reviewed the stations I receive from through cable, the violence was incredible.  Bloody.  Graphic.  There was a video (And I am not picking on any music video station in particular except for what was actually there.) on BET that remarkably reminded me of news reports from car bombings in foreign countries.  And I understand MTV is being reviewed for child pornography?  Like, what?

The violence in the USA is getting worse and not better.

...NOT A COMMON LINK (click title to entry - thank you)
It is proven that mental illness does not increase a person’s tendency to commit violent crime. In fact, those with mental illness are 11 times more likely to be victims of violent crime themselves....

The violence affiliated with 'political speech' is out of hand and there is every indication it is escalating.  In a 'ad' on Rush-Radio; Beck is noted to be stating if he is making violent undertones (my words, not his) then so be it.

Mental Illness is rarely connected with pre-meditated and well planned activities as noted before the US Congresswoman's attempted assassination and the assassination of her assistant, Mr. Zimmerman and five other innocent people.

The planning that occurred prior to the actions of Friday into Saturday was NOT a deranged person, but, of a killer, a well rehersed killer.  His aim was incredible.  He had control of that gun and landed nearly every shot with plans for more.

Blaming shootings on 'mental illness' is a TACTIC by the NRA and the Right Wing, their cronies.

It's Sunday Night

How my love
Talk in everlasting words
And dedicate them all to me
And I will give you all my life
I'm here if you should call to me
You think that I don't even mean
A single word I say
It's only words, and words are all
I have to take your heart away
You think that I don't even mean

The Gulf Coast People need to hire Gulf Coast Attorneys and sue BP autonomously.

...Feinberg (click title to entry - thank you) said on Bloomberg Television yesterday that it is too early to project how much of the fund will be needed to pay individuals and businesses. He said $10 billion may be enough to compensate victims....

Bill Lehr, a senior scientist at the NOAA, appeared before Congress to repudiate an earlier report he wrote, which suggested the majority of the oil had been captured. Photograph: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images

BP consented to $20 billion and more if necessary because they SHUT DOWN an entire economy along the Gulf Coast.

Feinberg is NOT providing accurate assessments of the fishing losses because CURRENTLY the losses are WORTHLESS and will be for a long time (at least 20 year or more according to EXPERIENCE in Alaska with Exxon Valdez).

The ONLY attorneys that will do the Gulf Residents any good at all are attorneys that KNOW them and understand their business and what IT IS WORTH over a lifetime.

The claims Feinberg is assessing is BASING them on current value of the fisheries AND recent market values of the fish.  RECENT market values are based in a DEGRADED economy because of the Wall Street Collapse.  I am confident BP is considering Paulson their best friend.

Many fisheries in the USA are passed down from generation to generation of Americans.  The fisheries see economic ups and downs and NOT JUST DOWNS.

The LIFETIME value of the fisheries are very, very different than their IMMEDIATE value.

Feinberg is playing 'the simple people' of the Gulf Coast, their States and their Scientists that will work to restore the fisheries for FOOLS.

The REALISTIC picture of the Gulf Coast Fisheries are complete collapse with no change in the immediate future for AT LEAST TWENTY years.

The Gulf States, State Attorneys, Local Attorneys need to independently sue BP, Transocean and Halliburton.

The oil companies will claim idiot Governors, like Jindal of Louisiana, claim they could immediately put people back to work IF the federal government lifted the ban sooner.

The TRUTH of the matter is that the Investigation by the Presidential Appointed Panel JUST closed and delivered their findings.  The NEW regulations are not yet in effect, but, need to be instituted ASAP by the President's Cabinet.

Just because Jindal was PLAYING POLITICS with people's lives and livelihoods doesn't mean it has validity.  As a matter of fact I don't recall Jindal every working as hard a day in his life as the fisherman that have made a living along the Gulf Coast.

Feinberg and his million dollar a month law firm needs to be FIRED.  They HAVE TO BE substituted with a Gulf Coast Law Firm that know what they are doing.  Obviously, when it comes to understanding fisheries, their rehabilitation and the people that live and work the Gulf Coast, Feinberg is a moron.

THE OIL THAT LAYS at the bottom of the Gulf isn't even degrading, yet alone GONE.  Who is Feinberg trying to kid?

BP oil spill: US scientist retracts assurances over success of cleanup  (click here)

NOAA's Bill Lehr says three-quarters of the oil that gushed from the Deepwater Horizon rig is still in the Gulf environment while scientists identify 22-mile plume in ocean depths.

White House claims that the worst of the BP oil spill was over were undermined yesterday when a senior government scientist said three-quarters of the oil was still in the Gulf environment and a research study detected a 22-mile plume of oil in the ocean depths.
Bill Lehr, a senior scientist at the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) departed from an official report from two weeks ago which suggested the majority of the oil had been captured or broken down.
"I would say most of that is still in the environment," Lehr, the lead author of the report, told the house energy and commerce committee.
The growing evidence that the White House painted an overly optimistic picture when officials claimed two weeks ago the remaining oil in the Gulf was rapidly breaking down fuelled a sense of outrage in the scientific community that government agencies are hiding data and spinning the science of the oil spill. No new oil has entered the Gulf since 15 July, but officials said yesterday the well is unlikely to be sealed for good until mid-September.
Under questioning from the committee chair, Ed Markey, Lehr revised down the amount of oil that went into the Gulf to 4.1m barrels, from an earlier estimate of 4.9m, noting that 800,000 barrels were siphoned off directly from the well.
By some estimates, as much as 90% of the oil was unaccounted for. Lehr said 6% was burned and 4% was skimmed but he could not be confident of numbers for the amount collected from beaches....

The UNDER-ESTIMATE directly relates to GOING EASY on BP's FINES !!!!!!

One of the best allies the Gulf Coast Residents have is Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

The extent and complexity of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill (click here) demands the mobilization of the U.S. oceanographic community in order to characterize and monitor the scope, fate and effects of the event. As a leader in oceanographic research and engineering with four decades of experience conducting and managing the science of oil spills, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution has developed a response strategy....

The people of the Gulf Coast have been exposed to some of the nastiest carcinogens in existence.  The effects of those carcinogens may not be realized for another twenty (20), count them, TWENTY years.

Crew members in the Gulf periodically need to take extraordinary safety precautions from the hydrocarbon fumes in the air. ...The contract, signed Jan. 6 — nearly six months after Feinberg was hired to operate the Gulf Coast Claims Facility — also calls for Feinberg to turn over all claims documents to BP after his operation shuts down in August 2013.
Those documents include private financial information about claimants such as tax returns and business profit-and-loss statements.
Many claimants had to give those documents directly to BP last summer before Feinberg took over the claims process.
Amy Weiss, a spokeswoman for the claims operation, said that Feinberg continues to discuss his law firm’s fee with BP. She declined to comment further....

Feinberg Rozen DID NOT EXIST before 1993, and known following the 911 Victims Fund.  Get real about these guys.  If they don't know what they are doing, don't follow their advise.

BP maintaining control of all claims is corruption, plain and simple.  The claims process needs to be investigated.

The Gulf fisheries WERE some of the most productive in the world.  The oyster fisheries of the Gulf are dead, they aren't coming back.  The familes that owned those fisheries or any segment of them should be receiving MILLIONS of US in order to start the lives over elsewhere BESIDES being compensated for their losses and the FACT they have to learn a new trade.  The families that have lost their livelihoods should be compensated for the REAL ESTATE, LOST INCOME, PAIN AND SUFFERING AND RELOCATION COSTS if that is necessary.  The relocation costs could depend on how polluted the area is where they live.  THE FACT THERE IS ANY QUESTION ABOUT A CLAIM THAT 'HOLDS A TITLE' IS RIDICULOUS.

The ONLY economy the Louisiana coast is good for anymore is drilling for oil.  It is ruined and the sooner everyone gets that through their heads the better.  Don't believe me, ask the PEOPLE of Alaska.

Three ALSO needs to be a CLASS ACTION filed for the people of the region for the illnesses, disabilities nad deaths that have get to be realized and ARE KNOWN to be EXPECTED over the next SEVERAL decades.

Do I have to say this?  Oh, wait.  ONLY the people of Wall Street can suffer and that can ONLY happen in NYC, right?  After all, the Gulf folks 'SWEAT' to make a living, they must be subhuman.

The USA Gulf Coast has only one thing to say to BP, "YOU BROKE IT, YOU BOUGHT IT."

Now file lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit and don't stop until every penny is retrieved and then some!

The sediments are oil soaked.  It is where the dispersants delivered the billions of gallons of the lousy stuff.  It is why the East and West Coast of the USA cannot be drilled and if anyone says otherwise they are lying.  The Gulf Coast is too polluted to be considered viable for any significant fishery activity.  All the USA has now is the East and West Coast and they better treat those fisheries like GOLD.

An Open Letter to Brian L. Roberts, CEO of Comcast Cable (click title to entry - thank you)
...You are not God, Mr. Roberts. You have to do the 3 S's every morning, just like the rest of us. Who are you to decide? Oh, that's right. You are the CEO of Comcast. A company that overcharges its subscribers for the services they provide and then decides to CENSOR what they watch through financial discrimination. Please Mr. Roberts, get off your high horse and get in touch with the people. If you want to charge extra for MSNBC then charge extra for FOX. If FOX is free to basic cable, then MSNBC should be free as well. At least give the impression that you are not politically or religiously motivated in making the channel change. We await your answer.

I think they got the answer.  It just wasn't the one they were looking for.
Just because Hillary didn't win the nomination is no reason to turn on the party.

Olbermann states it was to much for him? That's exactly right. But, not because of the work, because of the management and interference.

Let me tell you why, without an effort from any outside forces, why the 'tampering' by Comcast isn't going to bring about results.

The 8PM hour on MSNBC wasn't the highest rated because it was 8PM, but, because it was Olbermann, his sense of justice and his sense of humor.  I have no doubt O'Donnell will maintain the ratings, but, there is a chance he may not.

See, 'management types' just don't get it.  They expect Democrats to be Republicans only more open minded.  Nope.  Democrats are family and they feel free to be themselves among their peers.  Olbermann not only knows that, he WAS THAT.

Lawrence O'Donnell was the best idea the 'management' had for 10PM, but, he isn't there five days a week.  Olbermann was.  Come Friday, at 10PM everyone, including the audience, starts their weekend.  That isn't going to play well at 8PM.  Why tune in at all if the anchor for 8PM isn't going to be there?  The audience is NOT regarded well by Comcast and it shows already.

So, for four nights out of the week the audience will tune in to watch a good line up of anchors, but, it will be less one 'vital' anchor and that was Keith Olbermann.  Everyone will start their weekend at 11PM on Thursday now.  I have no doubt the 'substitute' for O'Donnell on Friday is the best in the business, but, 'ya know' when it is family I am tuning in to watch, it just won't be the same.

I don't appreciate this.

At all.

"Gloria Mactavish...K-Mart is phasing out the sale of handgun ammunition...this plan to be complete within the continental US in ninty days..."

"The kids at Columbine had to pay a penalty...that day...for this nation, the way we look at it."

The way the 'kids' at Columbine 'look at it' is absolutely correct. Spot on. I defy anyone to say differently and sincerely defend that position. The Second Amendment is NOT suppose to come with a price of violence within the USA. There is absolutely NO BASIS for that deception. The Second Amendment is about forming 'militias' to defend the USA. Forming militias in the USA is now illegal and we have a military housed on bases to protect and defend our nation. We have police to protect and defend citizens. There is no legitimate defense for the Second Amendment to allow the slaughter of innocent people within the borders of the USA.

The people of the USA are still paying the same penalty, but, at K-Mart in the year 2011 it is now 5 cents more to secure the bullets to kill innocent people.

K-Mart lies and has never learned from their mistakes.

Discount bullets right along side, this weekend, of a 75% toy sale.

Amazing.

"Obama Care" Repeal is opposed by the majority of Americans. The Tea Baggers were elected to work on the deficit, not healthcare.

If repeal actually was achieved it would be Anti-American while returning 'death rates' to people without healh care and unable to purchase health care through pre-existing conditions.  Legislating death to Americans is not a legitimate function of the USA government.  It is a coupe in favor of Plutocracy.

The House Majority is NOT offering a viable alternative.  What else does anyone call it?

The 'Debt' has been addressed by the President.  He has recommendations of changes from a panel of experts, yet, the elected Tea Baggers are not even seeking to adapt any of the recommedations.

As you regulars know, I've been arguing here for days that overly simplistic polling has been exaggerating the support for blowing up the Affordable Care Act. When pollsters drill down with fine-grained questions, support for full repeal plummets.
The internals of today's New York Times/CBS poll dramatize this in perhaps the clearest terms yet.
The poll first asked people a straight-up question -- should we do away with the law completely, or let it stand -- and found that 40 percent favor repeal, versus 48 percent who want to leave it as is. That near-split mirrors virtually all other polls that asked the question this way -- they all find some solid support for repeal....

The Right Wing Media is 'lying' over and over and over again to maintain this issue as a political football and wedge in the electorate.  When is the FCC going to demand they stop lying to the electorate?

Michelle Bachman 'came out' to announce for President of the USA in 2012 as Palin's popularity wanes.

The Republicans DO NOT have a solid majority in the House and I have said this before.  There are THREE parties in the House of Representatives, the Democrats (which is the true majority), the  Republicans come in second followed by the Tea Baggers.

Palin has been quoted as stating, "If the RNC desolves than so be it."  That is not a Party member; it is an opposition member.

There is SINCERE and measurable division in the 'political party system' in the House and it needs to be reviewed for ethics and procedural integrity to validate a true majority.

...Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., won't be the only Republican giving a rebuttal to the president's State of the Union Address Tuesday night.
A Tea Party website points to an alternate rebuttal offered by Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.
"Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has confirmed with us that she will broadcast her response to Barack Obama's State Of The Union address this Tuesday," a post on the website said. "You'll be able to watch her rebut Obama via her address which will be broadcast on our website TeaPartyExpress.org."...

Bachmann came forward the moment Palin was cited for a hostile website.  Both Bachmann and Rove know that the Republicans cannot deliver the new Tea Part y in 2012.  Bachmann is not a viable 'alternative' to an established Republican candidate and she knows it.  However, she can carry the Tea Party up to the Republican Convention and then pledge her support after the nomination is made.  This is NOT one party and Bachmann's alternative rebuttal is proof of it.

The Tea Part are very angry people.  They know they were elected into office because of the 'hated based' freedom of speech.  These people demand THEIR freedom of speech in order to 'whip up' their 'extremist' supports, but, they demand to deny it to others.

Sheriff Dupnik could not be more correct about the hostile poltical environment in the USA.  Yet, of course, no one should point it out according to Bachmann's Tea Baggers.  The Sheriff has been re-elected and has been popular with most of the citizens.  The Hispanic community is up in arms with his tactics to prevent illegal immigration and their illegal 'hiring.'  I would think the Tea Baggers would support him rather than join the opposition to the 'tough enforcement' by the good Sheriff.  This just goes to prove the Tea Baggers aren't sincere about any position they take; they are only interested in PRESERVING their power at any cost.  The Tea Part has all the 'symptoms' of a coupe.

I'll cover the hideous use of political language over the weekend.

Have a better day.

I like Jeff Immelt. GE has been a good employer and innovator. It has been a US company for a long time.

GE is leading the way in innovation into the 'energy future.'  I can't think of a better Chairperson for the Advisory Board.  His promotion to Chair now leaves another opening to fill his seat and will there is sufficient representation for the entrepreneur on the board; I would like to see someone with SBA experience and insight as a new member.  At link to entry is the Amazon link to his book.

Would seem as though Meg has to 'recup' some of her losses while finding a new 'governance' as HP.

HP had to 'can' four of their board in order for Whitman to say, "Yes?"

Really?

Alls well that ends well.

They are being replaced by five newcomers including Meg Whitman, the former EBay Inc. chief executive who was defeated in her bid to be elected California governor last November.
The board of HP, which is the world's largest computer maker, drew widespread criticism last August for its handling of a scandal involving Mark Hurd, its once highly respected CEO....
