I think the San Bernadino police department are doing everything they can to resolve any questions, take care of the families involved and resolve the injury of their fellow police officer. This seems to be a very complicated investigation including the bomb threat called to the hospital as the victims were arriving. It is as if the killers were determined to carry out death heinously.

I have to add here that this is again a violence related event whereby it serves also to measure the extent the infrastructure exists. I can't help but believe there is an instruction manual somewhere on the net or otherwise to such planned attacks to purposely test the infrastructure

This attack of innocent people was extremely violent taking many lives and resulted in wounded victims as well. The bombs were planted to cause maximal damage to the infrastructure in hopes they would be killing emergency personnel and police.

I have to say this is remarkably similar to the Columbine killings whereby there were pipe bombs that never exploded. But, the ideas are the same. Is this something standard to people that hate so intensely? Some of the similarities are remarkable, but, these killers had no contact with Columbine.

I think the investigation of these killings will take some time and whether or not others are involved.

My sincere sympathies to the families and the community of San Bernadino.

A bomb threat (click here) was called into Loma Lina University Medical Center, where patients from a mass shooting in nearby San Bernardino were being treated Tuesday.
The threat was phoned in at 2:40 p.m., according to a brief statement from the hospital, which is the only Level I trauma center in the Inland Empire.
Classes at the teaching hospital in Loma Linda were cancelled, and students were urged to leave public areas of the campus.
Law enforcement was working to screen the hospital campus to ensure safety....
