GDP Growth in USA

2004 - 4%
2005 - 3%
2006 - 3%
2007 - 2% - Oh, no one paid attention to that, did they? (click here) The fact the USA GDP went from 4% in 2004 from government spending on war and fell to zero in 2008 and in the negative bracket in 2009. No one heard about the disappearing USA economy in 2007. Americans were simply dropped on their heads in October of 2008.

2011 - 2%

Data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis (click here) out Friday shows that real gross domestic product — which measures output produced in the United States — grew at an annual rate of 2.4% in the fourth quarter of 2013. The second estimate is down 80 basis points from the 3.2% advance estimate BEA put out in January. The figure shows fourth quarter growth relative to the third quarter, when real GDP increased 4.1%....
