September 30, 2005. Five foot waves and 35 mm of rain came to these mexican shores by Hurricane Otis. The waves for Otis are a bit different in that they are long and lower than Stan. Oddly, the volume of these waves still contain a lot of water that floods. The waves exhibit little 'undertow' at the shoreline and even through the waves are different than Stan there is still a good deal of 'piling up' at the shoreline causing issues of flooding. Posted by Picasa
