Basically, nothing has changed in Florida.

Digging (click here) through six years of DCF files, The Herald found hundreds of children who died of abuse or neglect whose families had contact with the agency over the previous five years — far more than the state reported. The information is from death reviews, police reports, autopsies and interviews.

The definition of family frequently includes children. This program in Florida is to avoid paying Foster Parents.

The last time Florida made the news with 94 dead was 2005 (click here). That was just one year.
