BUCHAREST, April 22 (Xinhua) -- A passenger plane of Romanian airliner Carpatair on Tuesday evening ran off the landing strip on the Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest, because of the unfavorable weather conditions.
According to Catalin Radu, director of Civil Aviation Department with Transport Ministry, the BAE-146 plane coming from western city of Timisoara had some 60 passengers on board, and no passenger was injured.
"While attempting to land, because of the strong wind and the wet runway, the plane overrun the track, but the none of the passengers was hurt," Catalin Radu said, adding that all passengers left the plane safely.
