The effects of this EASTERN SEABOARD storm is not going away. It's reoganizing in the Carribean Sea.

The current hurricane along the eastern seaboard of the USA will more than likely be a soaker with dissipated winds in a few days, however, the reason for that is because the 'oscillation' is occurring with it's site of origin in the Carribean Sea. There is a reorganization of the velocity of this storm in the Carribean Sea. It is where the water vapor is and as the hurricane moved north, there wasn't enough water vapor to support it, however, the water vapor it accumulated was enough to create danger in the way of flooding. Don't underestimate the damage this hurricane can do on it's way to the Arctic Circle in the way of flooding in an already drenched northeast.

Stay safe and good luck.

These storms are different. They carry their velocity in different ways. I remind the deaths that have already occurred was when Noll wasn't even a tropical storm. Do not underestimate the damage these storms can cause, especially with internal tornadic winds that are 'meso' in nature rather than full tornadoes. This stuff is dangerous.

If you recall, even with Katrina, the 'result' of the storm was that of winds in the Category of 3, however, 'on the ground' the devastation was much different. That is because even though the winds of Katrina were diminished at landfall, they were still pushing a Cat 5 storm surge. This storm isn't even in the Gulf but the Atlantic where ocean waves can be far more substantial with more 'rouge' qualities than expected. This is a mess. Don't think it's not. With large storm surges come whirlpools and I saw evidence of plenty of them in Katrina. Lagoons as well and when those lagoons started to drain back to the Gulf they resulted in whirlpools that were stronger than the initial waves.

ONE OTHER THOUGHT. As we go along and the heat index contributing to these storms increases as the tropospheric water vapor diminishes with less opportunity to transfer heat, I am concerned AND THIS IS JUST THEORY, that the 'meso' nature of the tornadoes is all we will see and the GROSS evidence of 'the shelf/wall cloud' will eliminate (click here) because there isn't enough vapor to support it. But in realizing 'the shelf/wall cloud' structure (click here - to me they are all ABOUT the same in a Human Induced Global Warming pattern in their 'requirement' for vapor to support their structure and have the potential to danger, but, with diminished water vapor there will be less obvious shelf/wall clouds in predicition capacity), which requires substantial vapor to support it, could dissipate into simply higher velocity meso tornadoes doesn't eliminate the potential for the Fujita Scale to apply to the damage done to what is currently considered as 'microbursts.' I think it's headed that way and I am unsure what that means to determining the evidence for analysis on Doppler Radar. The 'way' in which prediction has to prepare for rapid events may be without 'traditional' definitions of voticity evidenced in water vapor, now with diminished levels of water vapor while still increasing dynamics of heat. In my opinion, prediction science from here into the future without resolution of high carbon dioxide levels is about vorticity without the support of water vapor and the capacity for a 'hot troposphere' to deliver such events.

And to take it one thrillingly stupid step further, if states don't build desalination plants and pipe in water to areas of the country to support 'plant biomes' the surface of Earth will be one giant dust bowl where heat dominates the air mass patterns. In other words the WORST idea I've ever heard in a HUMAN INDUCED GLOBAL WARMING drought is to divert water away from watering the lawn. There needs to be humidity in the troposphere to support weather and if there isn't IN THIS CASE there will be increasing drought rather than a return to normal balance. In government, they have to realize the 'outside' use of water to support plant biomes, including lawns if you will, is just as important if not more important as the use of water to support human activities of daily living. I don't care if people don't get 'decorative water served with dinner' so long as the lawns outside are lush and well watered.

Enough for now, people view these as scary and that isn't what this is, it's a matter of looking the future in the face and realizing how completely stupid the USA has been in response to environmental safety. No more logging of national forests !!!

Santo Domingo - Two rivers have burst their banks and swept away a Dominican Republic village, taking the death toll from Tropical Storm Noel's downpours on the Caribbean country and neighbouring Haiti above 90.
Local politicians and residents said the El Duey and Haina rivers swelled after days of rain and drowned at least 25 people, left 50 to 100 missing and made dozens of families homeless in Villa Altagracia, about 42km outside the capital, Santo Domingo.
Survivors said most of the 200 houses were swept away. "There were a lot of dead," said Luis Melo.
Dominican lawmaker Marino Mendoza said he had seen between 25 and 30 bodies strewn on the banks of the rivers.
