This is the problem the Republicans are trying to stop, not immigration.

The people of the USA wanted someone to vote for they can trust. They want someone that makes sense, be proud of, and is respected.

That is all they want. Evidently it is all the Democrats want because no one is challenging Vice President Harris.

They loved Joe. The poor debate performance worried them. They are becoming far less worried today. The Dems should have a great convention. Congratulations to still a great party.

A rebuke is a disciplinary procedure. In the sense of government it is a disciplinary procedure. The U.S. House cannot just wildly and out of political desperation write and pass bills rebuking policies and actions because they don’t like it. It is childish to say the least and pure stupidity at the other end of the spectrum.

The USA government is NOT A TOY!

President Biden is lawfully the president of this country and he presented a perfectly good bill to Congress proposing immigration reform. The U.S. House played politics for awhile and then rejected it. 

The USA House had a chance to pass immigration reform that matters, but, instead they made immigration their front and center “hate and fear” political stimulus for their cult.

Now, because they have someone running as a Democrat who knows what she is doing and can speak honestly to the problems besetting our immigration system, Trump and his cohorts are scared. So, they are using the levers of government to pass bogus legislation that achieves NOTHING (which they are good at).

They have never moved beyond yelling and screaming about aliens crossing the border. Never once have I seen a meaningful report that can be turned into legislation that solves problems. All the Republicans are doing is using populous ideas to pretend to have power over people’s lives. To begin, they have no right to do that. They are there to solve problems and not carry on like egotistical brats.

IF THEY have any complaints about the Vice President’s findings, the time has long past to state their case when they walked away from meaningful legislated reform.

NOTHING they have to say matters now.

To begin with Vice President Harris is President of the U.S. Senate and not a member of the U.S. House. As a result an ethics investigation MUST be filed against the current US House Speaker What’s His Name…oh, yeah, Johnson.

Sorry, but, this is some kind of attempt at dictatorial powers that exists nowhere. The U.S. House Speaker cannot unilaterally pull a rabbit out of his hat.

All this is political bull hockey. Who was responsible for even drawing up the document?

Secondly, in order to rebuke a member of the U.S. House there is first an ethics complaint filed followed by an investigation. That takes time to complete. A rebuke is extreme when it comes to any discipline procedure.

Thirdly, any involvement by Vice President Harris in regard to border policy of the USA was taking place with the leaders of the countries from where the border crossers were coming from. She was not tasked to guard the border so much as assess why these people were putting their lives on the line to travel by foot to the USA southern border. 

This act by the Republicans of the US House is illegal use of the USA House to discipline its own members. It is a political stunt and all involved need an ethics review followed by a rebuke or worse as a discipline.

Speaker Johnson is a foolish man to bow to such nonsense. He achieved nothing except more embarrassment of a great legislative body.

Why is it illegal?

BECAUSE IT IS FRAUD right there in broad daylight!

Mideast Peace

Iran has to be at the table along with all the terrorist groups involved with the Iranian Paradigm of Hate.

Today, the USA is optimistic there will an agreement, but, Hamas is belligerent and insists Israel completely withdraw from Gaza. Let’s say in a perfect world that happens and there are absolutely no more hostilities between the two parties and Hamas breaks alliances with others. Will that result in a MidEast Peace?

No.

With the hopes of a ceasefire and hostage return hopeful, other terrorist groups are picking up the slack. The Houthis, an Iranian supplied terrorist group are attacking Israel. They have more than rockets to send over Israel’s border.

Then there is Hezbollah, which is an interesting group, they have a drug industry in Venezuela with the permission of that government at the highest levels. So, Hezbollah is more self-sufficient in some ways. They still are Allie’s to Iran. How bizarre is that? A sovereign power, homeland to an entire religion, has terrorists for allies.

The tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, which has headquarters in Lebanon, have been in a conflict for what seems as long as Israel existed, but, it was organized in 1992. The conflict never ends because Hezbollah, like all the other terrorists affiliated with Iran, while stating to be political parties within a country, insist on being armed outside the sovereign power they claim as elected officials. Where does that occur anywhere else in the world? An armed political party that are elected to serve in the sovereign government. Their ally is Iran. Iran is not allied by the sovereign countries these groups exist. 

So, while Israel is recognized by Lebanon and considers itself at peace with Israel, the political party called Hezbollah calls Iran an ally and actively attacks Israel killing civilians. That is bizarre and untenable. In order for a Mideast Peace process to exist and be successful all those terrorist groups and Iran have to be signatories. 

Why is Netanyahu always on the aggressive stance? Why wouldn’t he be?

Then there is this good news, two-thirds of Palestinians not only approve of the October 7th attacks, they would repeat them.

Didn’t the Roberts’ Court just publish new ethical standards and regulations in the Federal Register?

It took 4 and a half years for this court to finally issue a new code of conduct (click here). I am fairly certain it had to be published in the Federal Register as new law, too. If it wasn’t, it should have been. The Supreme Court Code of Conduct is an official USA federal standard and needs to be recorded as such.

I read earlier the January 6th Committee is still taking testimony and that is a good thing, especially for Clarence’s wife, Ginny. It would seem she went before the committee and committed perjury.

She stated there are known errors that occurred in the election of 2020.

Really? And, of course, the errors were so voluminous it through the election to the wrong man, right, Ginny?

We know there was some ballot manipulation in North Carolina by a man that would offer to

help the elderly and handicapped by walking their ballots to be deposited in an awaiting ballot box or office or whatever he was calling an official drop off location. We know along the way he would change the ballot and then submit it to be counted. We know about that one. It didn’t amount to a hill of beans difference.

Now, unless Ginny has an earthshaking reality, other than her own; she should return to the committee, apologize to the American people, President Biden, the January 6th committee, perhaps her own lawyer (who of course would never approve perjury for his client) and get the testimony straightened out where she said the presidential election went to the wrong man.

That is good advice, Ginny, and it is free.

But, in this case it would seem as though Justice Kahan has insight to the lack of enforcement clarity of the new standards. Are all the conservative justices sleep walking through life?

President Biden has protected the military repeatedly during his time in office where he could. He has honored their service. 

We watched for many months a profound lack of respect for our military when Senator Tuberville placed a hold on promotions, not because there were bad choices, but as a protest against women’s health. 

President Biden during his many months left in office should establish a military commission to examine the damage this caused to our military and find a better process for promotions.

The U.S. Army starts congressional review of promotions just above the level of Warrant Officer. This is crazy. The US Army is the largest branch of the military responsible for continuing the stability of the victories of the other branches. Relying on Congress to protect the U.S. Army promotional status is ridiculous. We trust these people with our country and our lives. We can trust the military with their own promotions. They have their own legal system that can address unfairness in promotions and any record fraud. There is nothing to mistrust. 

Do Americans know how many military promotions were disrespected by Tuberville? A lot. It was imperiling our military. At the very least anyone who left the service because of this should be invited back, with back pay.

If anyone thinks simply adding a requirement for two Senators as needed to stop promotions will solve the problem as a sufficient enough measure, think again. How partisan is this Congress and how extreme is the Tuberville side of the aisle. Tuberville is a couch (AI blooper) (besides a couch potato of a Senator, he was also a coach). He must know the importance of player esteem and team work. Being appreciated for their military service is vital to maintain a lifetime commitment to it.

I sincerely believe promotions should be housed within the branches of service with the exception of the appointment to the Joint Chiefs.

A military commission is more than appropriate. Not only that but the commission should be granted the power to implement the changes without delay (including back pay, which needs to be supplemented in the next congressional budget) or approval of Congress and only a public report of the commission’s process and decision. I think it is vital for the American public to understand how close they came to real danger to our national security. The military should write openly and with complete immunity to any backlash against the commission members for their truthfulness and decisions.

Those that endorse Trump don’t care what he does as president. They believe their endorsement and monies will protect them. They don’t care if he is a good president or a dictator or communist. This is raw capitalism with promises of anarchy. These guys already deal with communists. They don’t care. Musk RAN to China at any ethical judgement about the suitability of a moon station with live personnel. The USA may very well find space stations that protect human life more valuable over a long term investment that place its first station on Mars with sites on interstellar. That is speculation, but, it is reasonable speculation in observing the fine tuning of the USA space program, including increasing interests in exoplanets. Why waste time, money, and human life on dangerous mining interests? The USA has all the rare Earth minerals it will need. The real wealth of minerals is not the moon.

Musk went to Texas to get rid of the need to cater to humanitarian needs and standards. Same thing with China. Same exact value system that attracts capitalists to Trump.

But, that is off track. Trump in running as fast as he can to FOX in a venue change and showing his vulnerability and absolutely shows his strongest character flaws he would say are his best assets. This from a man that failed his own company through multiple bankruptcies and court proceedings where he is a convicted criminal.

The country of Brazil has every right to sue the corporations involved and carbon credit venturists.

What the carbon credit industry has claimed is mostly non-existent from the people I know. The monies have not really reached those that actually know the land and could put productive project in place. There are still people trying to deforest the Amazon with no respect for the lives that rainforest could be saving. I am glad someone finally did the hard work in tracking it all down.

The projects are supposed to support the people that value the forest and not the deforestation of it.

Public protected lands are not up for grabs. It is already supported by the country's citizens because it is highly valued for the reasons it should be valued.

But a six-month Washington Post investigation shows that many of the private ventures have repeatedly and, authorities say, illegally laid claim to publicly protected lands, generating enormous profits from territory they have no legal right to and then failing to share the revenue with those who protected or lived on the land. The use of such lands to sell credits also contributes little to reducing carbon emissions....

This is supposed to be the outcomes to carbon credits. Any improvements in the USA are primarily government funded.

The idea carbon credits is the best idea for industries unable or unwilling to change has no basis in fact.

Corporations are just as guilty as the venturists. These corporations have dozens of lawyers and no one bothered to validate the project before they paid their carbon credits? Really? Just completely trust a venturist who has a product in the Amazon that can't be reached by ordinary people or validated by nothing less than drones? And who is carrying out these projects in the waters where Piranhas live? I don't know how many times I asked myself that question, "where is all the carbon credit monies for these projects?"

Now, I know any PROPER scientist worth their credentials would never state what I am about to state. But, here we go so hang on to your hat.

We had a major eruption in Hawaii not long ago. With viral videos and the latest gossip about politicians who cares? Me. I really don’t care about viral anything unless it is a strand of RNA gone wild. I don’t really care about the latest gossip about politicians, just the facts, please.

So, not long ago the National Park in Hawaii witnessed an enormous eruption of its volcano that went well outside its “normal” lava flow, caused evacuations, and destroyed homes. That is a pretty big deal I think. So. One wonders, why?

Why would a lazy little volcano so far away from all other volcanoes, in the middle of the Pacific Plate explode like that?

What changed?

Hm?

Ah. The Hot Spot.

See, Hawaii is a chain of islands all sort off lined up in a chain sort of.

Pretty islands, aren’t they?

They are all part of the same underwater mountain range. That mountain range was formed through the processes of volcanization. So. With that comes the understanding there is still a volcano in Hawaii and it is actively building more mountain tops.

What do we know about the Pacific Plate? We know it moves. All Earth’s plates move. They can cause major calamity like tsunamis resultant from earthquakes. So, these tectonic plates are no joke. They are to be taken seriously.

Hawaii is on the verge to adding a new island to the chain and interestingly enough it is very near where the current volcano has caused worry. How can that be? There is still an eruption in Hawaii on occasion. Correct. However. This last eruption shows this volcano is moving off its” Hot Spot” and allowing the new island to grow, erupt through the surface, and spew its own lava down its now visible slopes. Will that occur in this generation’s time on Earth? Probably not.

So, what’s the point?

The point is a major Earth Hot Spot is showing stress. It takes a lot to move a mountain range. If one thinks the stress in this Hot Spot is translating into stress in the mantle layer below Earth’s crust, it would most probably cause pressure at all the vents along Earth’s surface connected to Earth’s mantle. Sort of like having a piece of garden hose with holes to trickle water into a garden. Everything goes along fine until the largest hole becomes blocked. Now the trickle turns into a spurt and the garden may even be ruined.

That water in the hose is Earth’s mantle full of red hot lava. The large hole BECOMING blocked is the Hawaii Hot Spot.

With the Pacific Plate moving and changing its Hot Spot location there is additional pressure in Earth’s mantle. Where does the pressure go? The pressure will seek relief wherever it can find it and that means every volcano that is not significantly blocked will result in concern. 

This is where Biscuit Basin comes in. 

But, first realize there are many volcanic spots all around the world starting to get hiccups. Yes. Now. Yes. At the same time but within days to a week of each other. That is not coincidence. Neither is the INCREASED activity at Biscuit Basin (this has been a growing set of explosions of geyser water). This is the first time rocks came burping out the geyser. But, these massive burps are becoming more frequent.

Biscuit Basin is a part of the Yellowstone Caldera which massive implosion occurred long before we were here. No. I don’t think the pressure in the mantle will become so great that it will spark another caldera. As I stated the new island is growing and once it has established itself over the hot spot, no worries. 

But, what happens until then? 

Until Earth’s Hot Spot has established a new Hawaiian Island there will be more burps all the over Earth. Iceland has especially been surprised to find the little coastal town of Grenyavich needed to be quickly evacuated.

There is much to learn at Biscuit Basin. USGS, as well as other interested scientists with their own specialties need to set up a study station there and make Biscuit Basin into a lab of sorts to better understand the increased activity occurring that alarms tourists on a regular basis. Now is the time and most probably can be an indicator location of mantle disturbances that contribute to what is now uncertainty.

A lot has happened in Yellowstone lately. Some due to climate. But, this isn’t about climate, this is about uncertainty of Earth in a different way.

There is no need to rush reconstruction crews into Biscuit to rebuild a walkway that will only end up the same way again. It is time to give Biscuit to scientists. They must have thought it interesting enough to built the walkway in the first place.

This was a close call and no one was hurt. But, that is only because the geyser was able to dissolve the solid rock. Next time, we might not be so lucky and precious people we should have protected, weren’t.

Yellowstone is not a zoo or amusement park.

Cities are heat islands for several reasons, but, a large contributing factor is concrete. There is a focus that is taking place about concrete sidewalks that is also a health emergency.

Literally, people are falling on concrete sidewalks and getting burned because the surface is 130 F. These burns, no different than other burns, can be life threatening. 

The high tech solution would be to set a sidewalk surface that is heat resistant on top of refrigerator coils. This type of adaptation can be noted in cities with high snow fall and the danger of icey sidewalks, only it is heat coils.

A solution like that takes time to develop, is very expensive, and requires energy. In order for such a system to work without burning fossil fuels it has to powered by wind turbines. These specialized turbines can be small, as tall as 3 to 4 feet and installed all alone by the walkway. The turbines will work, 24-7 and 365 days of the year.

Grants like these empower change and save lives. I am very proud of the hard work the Biden administration has provided all these years. And, as Joe would say, “But, the work isn’t done.”

So, it is a new standard “you all” are going to have to meet to come close to providing the best possible coverage of a magnificent public official.

Kamala Harris has had decades of experience in leading people, making informed and educated decisions, being an advocate, and FINDING justice for those who never thought they would ever see it.

And, by the way, if she starts to find white hairs on her head due to the stress involved in the highest office in the land, she’ll probably have it colored. That is common practice among women, in case no one but Wall Street noticed.

She has to make her case to the American people,

If Kamala is the party’s choice, she has a wide array of incredibly talented governor’s to be her VP. Some are Red State Governors, like Roy Cooper. North Carolina loves him.

But, this race is the make or break moment for women, their right to health care, equal pay, and the right to decide their own path forward. 

This is a tough race, but, an important one. She needs to let the people know she can take on the presidency with a fantastic cabinet that can help her make that case. Equality is still a huge issue and no one is claiming that territory except her.

I think the President made the right choice.

It is going to be very exciting to see the next generation find the best footing for Democrats.

This, of course, releases all President Biden’s convention delegates free to elect a different nominee. It may take more than one ballot as favorite daughters and sons are nominated. It wil prove to be a very good convention.
