NEW ORLEANS —Look up at the moon April 15, and be prepared to see it turn red.

The excitement begins around 2 a.m. Central Daylight Time. This is when the Earth will move between the sun and the moon. The Earth’s shadow will slowly move across the face of the moon for about 78 minutes from start to finish.
