I need to add something here to respect people that think differently. Spirituality or psychic energy is known to be a fact.

You can all it what you want, but, Pope Francis was a phenomena this week. He just was. There is nothing else to say. It is measurable.

Pope Benedict XVI was here in 2008. This never occurred then. There is definitely a spirituality surrounding Pope Francis. You can't make stuff up.

"A Course in Miracles" (click here)

To continue Helen's first-person account:

Three startling months preceded the actual writing, during which time Bill suggested that I write down the highly symbolic dreams and descriptions of the strange images that were coming to me. Although I had grown more accustomed to the unexpected by that time, I was still very surprised when I wrote, "This is a course in miracles." That was my introduction to the Voice. It made no sound, but seemed to be giving me a kind of rapid, inner dictation which I took down in a shorthand notebook. The writing was never automatic. It could be interrupted at any time and later picked up again. It made me very uncomfortable, but it never seriously occurred to me to stop. It seemed to be a special assignment I had somehow, somewhere agreed to complete. It represented a truly collaborative venture between Bill and myself, and much of its significance, I am sure, lies in that. I would take down what the Voice "said" and read it to him the next day, and he typed it from my dictation. I expect he had his special assignment, too. Without his encouragement and support I would never have been able to fulfill mine. The whole process took about seven years. The Text came first, then the Workbook for Students, and finally the Manual for Teachers. Only a few minor changes have been made. Chapter titles and subheadings have been inserted in the Text, and some of the more personal references that occurred at the beginning have been omitted. Otherwise the material is substantially unchanged.
The names of the collaborators in the recording of the Course do not appear on the cover because the Course can and should stand on its own. It is not intended to become the basis for another cult. Its only purpose is to provide a way in which some people will be able to find their own Internal Teacher.
The reason the California fires came under control and extinguished is because the water vapor heat transfer system moved over California. The reason the fire fighters were finding it very difficult to bring the fires under control was because of the droughted and dry air over California. With the water vapor heat transfer system (noted below) over California the air became full of water vapor making the fire fighting effective.
Okay folks, this is a water vapor satellite that shows the high pressure system that has been chronically offshore of California, moved south. It is no longer offshore of California. I have no right to withhold observations 'of wonder.'

UNISYS Water Vapor Satellite of the North and West Hemisphere (click here for 12 hour loop - thank you)

I have only brought the facts as I know them regarding the climate crisis. I have no right to effect deceptions that could lead to spirituality among people. I do not deny faith can exist in mysterious ways.

There is a circulation center developing for approximately 2 hours now offshore of California. I've never seen that before.

Cuba is still getting rain. (click here)

The harassment of Hillary Clinton has to stop. There is no basis for it. NONE!

I would be skeptical if the explanation of the server were not logical, but, it makes all too much sense.

I think the campaign needs to consider lawsuits to stop the lies.

The server was accessed by the FBI and emails to former General Petraeus. The problem was that an email address didn't end in .gov (dot gov). When the server was searched the people hired to do it simply typed in a search criteria of dot gov. Where there were no dot gov addresses it wasn't picked up and considered personal. On the other side of this are emails picked up from the server and provided to the State Department that were actually personal emails.

Until I hear from the US Department of Justice there was criminal intent it is all innocent and the accusations unwarranted.

Hillary Clinton needs to get on with her campaign and put this episode of confused priorities by the press and the people behind her.

I have yet to detect any paranoia by Candidate Clinton over anything. She is a highly qualified woman. It would be terrible if for some strange reason she were to be found unworthy of a candidacy. The Democrats should be proud of her. I still think another candidate that should be appreciated by the Democrats other than Senator Sanders is Jim Webb. The Democrats have an incredible slate of candidates this election. Democratic debates start October 13th.

...“During the ’90s, (click here) I was subjected to the same kind of barrage,” the former first lady said on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” noting that New York voters elected her a senator despite the attacks....

Ready for some good news? Yes?

This is the latest map of large incident fires in the USA. (click here)

Everyone did notice Pope Francis visited this week, right?

I am just sayin'.

He hasn't gotten around to curing the drought yet, but, it is better. Wow.

Go figure. Rain comes to Cuba and the fires are extinguished in the Western USA.

One coincidence I can understand. But, two? It's interesting. I think it is very safe to say, Pope Francis has a direct connection in his spiritualism.

Sacramento, Calif. (click here) — As firefighters continued to advance on the deadly wildfires in Northern California, President Barack Obama declared a major disaster for the Valley fire.
The move frees up federal assistance for home repairs, replacements and other aid. California Gov. Jerry Brown requested the declaration this week.
Meanwhile, authorities continued their efforts to locate two men who went missing in the Valley fire.
Sheriff's officials said they are now using cadaver dogs to assist in the search for Robert Litchman, 61, of Middletown, and Robert Fletcher, 66, of Cobb.
Authorities remain "hopeful that these people are relocated and returned and reunited with their loved ones," Lake County Sheriff Brian Martin said.
The Valley fire — which destroyed an estimated 1,238 single-family homes, 23 multi-family homes and hundreds of other structures — is now the third most-destructive wildfire in California history, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire. As of Tuesday morning, it had burned 76,067 acres and was 75 percent contained....

We have 'been there' with politicising of women's health care. Stop vicimizing women, Ms. Fioria Fiorina.

Besides the victimization of women intended by the videos, Ms. Fiorina is embracing their illegitimate content as if fact. The videos are completely compromised by heavy editing.

Minority Leader Pelosi has stated she has called for an investigation of the videos and the activity to collect, produce and edit them. So, until the American people have THE TRUTH about said videos there is nothing can accurately be understood from them.

It is completely obvious to me, Ms. Fiorina is creating her own reality to serve the attraction of Republican voters. It is all political. Today she lied on Meet the Press. She made a reference to the legal standing of a baby when it comes a citizen; She stated "...when it leaves the hospital."  That is nonsense and a lie. Anyone she points a finger at never says that. She is a drama queen. What else is new with Republicans.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (click here) committed one of the great PR faux pas of the decade in January 2012, when it summarily cut off funding to Planned Parenthood in what appeared to be a bow to anti-abortion crusaders.

Now, with its release of its latest financial statements, the cost of that decision can be measured: It's more than $77 million, or fully 22% of the foundation's income. That's how much less the Dallas-based foundation collected in contributions, sponsorships and entry fees for its sponsored races in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013, compared with the previous year. The raw figures are these: In the most recent fiscal year Komen booked $270 million; the year before that, Komen booked $348 million.

Last year's decline was a continuation of a slightly longer trend. In fiscal 2011 the organization collected $367 million. Komen officials are candid in attributing much of last year's sharp decline to the Planned Parenthood controversy, though they also point to the general economic slump. Participation in the group's signature Race for the Cure events is also down....

...The foundation's decision to cease funding Planned Parenthood was a huge blunder. Komen officials said at the time that they had merely tightened grant eligibility rules to exclude groups under investigation by government authorities -- Planned Parenthood was the target of a ginned-up "investigation" by anti-abortion Republicans in the House.
Pope Francis started his remarks with the reference to children. He talked about the pain of children and how society allows it to exist.

He stated there needs to be a better outcome for these men. He stated the church is available to help to return the prisoners to a life worth living.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The age of the prisoners is 18 to 21 years old. That youth of the prisoners lends itself to the realization Pope Francis states in that children that live with pain are destined for such outcomes.

The pain Pope Francis is referring to is inclusive, it is not simply physical pain that can be fixed with a pill.

There is some talk to improve the ability of former inmates to return to society with the focus on "The Box." "The Box" is the place where the former convict has to answer the question, "Were you ever incarcerated?" They have served their time and they need to get on with lives of value to society.

The USA currently has 25 percent of Earth's jailed population. GOT THAT? There was no doubt Pope Francis was going to address mass incarceration.

It is my understanding Pope Francis challenges the USA to address it's problems than put them in prison.

This is pure idiocy to sanction Facebook to refugee camps.

September 27, 2015
By Ian Sherr

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg (click here) spoke at the UN on Saturday about Internet connectivity. The UN's webcast
Facebook is working with the United Nations to enable refugees from the Syrian civil war to access the Internet so they can more easily communicate while seeking resettlement....

Be sure the refugees can form their own government and jihad. That would be great. I always thought the overriding concern of refugees is WiFi.

Mr. Zuckerberg needs to take his billions IN US DOLLARS and donate it to the mission of countries such as Jordan. Providing WiFi is self serving and dangerous.

Does Zuckerberg have a social life that might dictate a personal journey to the leaders of countries to best direct DONATION?

In case Mark doesn't understand the CONCEPT it is called diplomacy through networking with real human beings. I am quite sure the US State Department would be more than happy to network your generous donation of billions US.
Pope Francis in addressing the Bishops took in the testimony presented to him at the Festival of the Family and has directed the clergy of the church on a path that will support families. He stated (and I summarize) the USA has created a culture of aloneness rather than family.

He offered as example the priority of young people to wait until 30 to be married. The financial preparation of their idea of the perfect marriage postpones the marriage. The couple accept the reality of aloneness the country has sculptured for them. He also offered as an example the mother complaining her son is living with them at the age of 30. Pope Francis states as a cure, "Stop ironing his shirts."

In the examples he stated he has directed the Bishops to pray to God and then preach of God to the people. He states the message has to be disseminated through out the Catholic structure including the Deacons that will deliver comfort and direction to the parishioners. No make his message clear to the clergy he stated, "Waste time with the parish."

There were some other departures from his central message that can be considered housekeeping in briefly mentioning the sex abuse of priests and an assignment to the Bishops to decide who among the people in the USA will receive a gift from Cuba in the spirit it was presented to him. He included a chalice he blessed to accompany the gift.

He also mentioned his address to Congress in recognizing a two tier system of citizen, namely the poor and the wealthy (summarized).

I was just doing some channel surfing and this caught my attention.

I can't let this go by. This is a safety issue for women. A few months ago I put an entry on this blog about a nightmare story whereby a woman wearing skinny jeans actually had to go to the hospital for treatment of swelling that caused disability.

Well, someone heard about the problem and now there is a skinny jean offered at HSN and is reasonably priced. It is 100 percent stretch and looks like the real thing.

This is the link (click here).

They look great on the models. I congratulate HSN for finding a product that is safer. Wow. Happy shopping everyone

#globalcitizen - To end extreme poverty.

The crowd looks like they are having a good time. There are far more people this year than last year and there were plenty of people last year.

Malin Ackerman on the role of women in tackling global poverty. (click here)

Pope Francis is concerned about "The Crisis in the Family."

Secretary Jewell finished speaking at Independence Hall about the importance of the Pope's message regarding the natural world including the environment and carbon pollution.

Mayor Michael Nutter is speaking about the history of Philadelphia and it's values. He states it is appropriate for Philadelphia to be the final city in the USA for the Pope to visit.

Mayor Nutter feels completely comfortable speaking about the wide diversity in the USA. He cites "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." It's all there. Pope Francis is opening up dialogue on all subjects. He cites John J. Andrerson (click here) as the man who asked him to enter politics and lead Philadelphia.

The Governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf is speaking. He has a special place for the Pope's travels on his official website. (click here) He calls on Pope Francis request to dedicate government to fairness, openness and justice.

I am sure every government synthesizes Pope Francis message in it's own way. This is the USA. It is about diversity.

Kindly remember Pope Francis has not found it helpful to incorporate religion and politics for the purposes of oppression. That is not his message and he gives no government permission to oppress people on the basis of religion.

It is interesting all this openness comes as a message from Philadelphia. Very interesting. The crowd tomorrow is expected to be over one million people. Pope Francis is celebrating the family in this visit. He certainly does not have the idea people are cast out of a single mold called, "Acceptable."

There he is in his Pope-mobile. A baby dressed in pink was lifted to him, he offered a blessing of the child with an enormous smile on his face. He is entering Independence Hall through the public entrance that would be taken by anyone else visiting the building.

He blessed the oak cross that symbolizes Hispanic Catholics. It is the symbol of the beginning of a mission of the church. The cross will travel across the USA to bring Hispanics an interest in the church, including immigrants.

Pope Francis heard the music composed by Aaron Copeland, long held as a great American composer.

This is his composition, "Fanfare for the Common Man."

Holy smokes he praises voting rights and the labor movement and human dignity. He praises the assimilation of immigrants into the US society. He completely embraces democracy as freedom and notes religious freedom as a right. He includes diversity and interfaith dialogue provided through liberty. He identifies conscience as a freedom. He recognizes the cultures of any people as valuable. He states culture calls society and individuals to religious expression. He identifies history as a reflection on atrocities with principles that deny rights. He states religion has an enduring power to insure freedoms and expand the quality of life and common good.  (It is true that religion does bind people together. Families practice a culture rich with religion in many instances and it becomes an intricate part of their lives. If parents baptize a child that is a cultural expression and promise. It brings the child to be one with god and expectations the parents will be dedicated to that child within their culture. He is correct. Religion adds moral content to society without asking thank you. My words, not his.)

Ah, the "American spirit." He embraces it. He states, It is an ultimate test of your greatness is how you treat every person, but, especially the weakest and defenseless ones." He also embraces the way in which the American people rise to speak out injustices. He believes globalization is a good method but it has failings to bring equality to all people. I think he is expressing income and wealth ineuality. He expresses globalization as a method that can bring about quality of life if practiced with equality in mind.

I know, I know; local economies stand in defiance and in defense from globalization and exploitation of the people by a few for the purpose of monetary gain. Don't try to manipulate this, Pope Francis emphasizes EQUALITY of quality of life. He doesn't find poverty as an equality of globalization. So, until Wall Street embraces the middle class as an equal partner to be maintained and not held in disdain to their greater profits, local economies stand!

He asked everyone to remember what happened here (Philadelphia) over 200 years ago.

Pope Francis asks the people to embrace their rights and freedom and to pray for him.

He blessed everyone after the joint prayer of "The Lord's Prayer." There is a bell ringing as if the Liberty Bell came back to life. Religions have a long history of bells as a call to worship.

He is amazing. He moves people to tears. Young people.

Pope Francis did not have the time to plan an extensive trip to Mexico.

September 25, 2015

A year has passed (click here) since 43 college students disappeared in Mexico. Controversy is rising over the details surrounding what happened to the students, with a new report contradicting the Mexican government’s account.
Now, activists have flown five of the students’ mothers to Philadelphia in hopes they can meet with Pope Francis while he’s there.
As Bobby Allyn of Here & Now contributor WHYY in Philadelphia reports, the Pope has called the students’ disappearance a murder and the mothers and activists want him to pressure the Mexican government to take further action on the case....

Pope Francis endurance reminds me of a person needing a vacation from the vacation. His stamina has to be measured with these rigorous visits to entire countries and a time to rest. He also has duties in Rome. So, the idea an extensive trip throughout the hemisphere or across an entire continent is challenging.

I think he is a great Pope and wants to reach all the people that seek him, but, he repeatedly states with each audience, "Pray for me." He recognizes two aspects of that request. He feels his mortality as a human being and he wants to be regarded as family or a friend that one would pray for. He wants to become a common dialogue in conversations after he leaves. Praying for him brings people together to realize his iconic meaning of his life. He is a friend in that face of all that which becomes his iconic status.

There it is. The magnificent man he is.

The laity. He states the laity is playing a greater role in the Catholic faith.

Women, be they lay or religious are acting in greater capacity than ever for their faith.

These are not quotes.

The is the Pope. This is what he does. He looks into the hearts of his congregation to understand where he needs to support their love of God. I am rather confident he will move women into higher areas of achievement within the Catholic church.

He has a very interesting history to achievement in the church himself. He is very generous in his love for the congregation that God assembles.

Kindly consider the 'status' of women have changed immensely in the USA. They are no longer chattel, they vote and they work for a living attending colleges in many instances to achieve their goal of work. Pope Francis reflects on all the changes in the faithful lives. I would expect women to be accepted into study leading to priesthood before any other advances.

This is about family. It is about the religious family of the Catholic church as well. He asked to be appreciative of the elderly Nuns and Priests. He thanks them for their faithful practice in the church. Pope Francis asked the religious to examine their first encounter with God and to return to that love and embrace it to refresh their relationship with God and his will.

Pope Francis is very much at the heart of the faithful.
I would like to correct a misperception of the media.

There is this idea Pope Francis rejects the security he has been assigned. That is not correct. Regardless of his automobile he is appreciative of the security.

When Pope Francis was at the school yesterday he thanked workers. He named a few difference jobs people work at, but, he did thank the security workers that they do important work.

So he does express his gratitude for the security workers.

It isn't possible for Pope Francis to dislike or offend, hence, dislike anything people do for work. He doesn't have that perception about people. He loves all people and the work they do. Work is the second highest act a person can carry out in their life times next to love.

The car is a "green car." It is an outward expression of his reverence for God's creation in Earth. Pope Francis is concerned for all of us and our travel around a sun day after day. Earth is our COMMON HOME. He's a chemical engineer by education and training. I think he knows something and his religion supersedes all else in his life. If he is expressing his concern for Earth and people's place on Earth, there is something spiritual moving him. He doesn't express false doctrine.

There was a miracle in the media to realize FOX News has the greenest man on the planet on their media service. That is not a joke either.

Trump is correct about Rubio by the way. Have you ever really listened to the simple kindergarten words of Marco Rubio?

"Government has nothing to do with an economy. The private sector runs the economy and the government should never be involved with it." That is such stupidity I can't believe he actually expects people to believe it. It is all old world bulloney. And of course taxes are always threatening jobs. If it weren't for taxes the USA would be the perfect country. But, of course the USA debt is going to be paid off magically in a world created by Disney.

I'd like to see who among his cronies will volunteer to maximize jobs and pay off the USA debt because their profits will be astronomical, right Kochs?

Rubio needs his pacifier, so be sure he has plenty of water bottles. It will be a miracle to hear reality in any of his speeches.

Denial is so much better than facing facts. Oh, boy, I must really be jaded from losing the Earth to the space program. Keep it up and denial won't matter anymore.

The list of topics that need to move to REALITY POLITICS is long and distinguished.

When I say people in power don't care, I mean it. It isn't politics.

My only real concern today is Syria. That is immediate. It has urgency and no one likes Assad, but, like Republicans such as McCain there are no viable solutions. At least Russia is a direction for the country. It is measurable for people. They can live within a society that is measurable. Obama better not pull any bulloney over it either. I don't think a limited nuclear engagement between the USA and Russia will improve the chances for Syrians.

Syria needs a peace, not unlimited war.

It took Pope Francis to end the hideous political policies in relation to Cuba. The Republicans don't care about people, they care about a political agenda of democracy for every country. It's nonsense. Fifty years since the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Republicans, like Rubio, actually think oppression of the Cuban people can continue forever. The entire country of Cuba were prisoners due to USA political priorities. The ENTIRE country, not just political prisoners in Cuban jails. But, that is okay. Defeating a dictator passively takes lots and lots of time. Generations would pass before Cuban people received relief from the USA's boot on their necks.

I would think China would be an example of how a country secure within it's own sovereign responsibility can actually grow a democracy from a communist government. It doesn't happen overnight or in a decade; it happens over time as the people become more sophisticated and able to discern their interests in their country to choose leadership by elections. China is on track to become a great country. It is emerging. It seeks benevolent relationships. An emerging country is always worried about it's reputation with international relations. It is why censorship exists in emerging economies that begin in communism. India is different. Brazil is different. Both India and Brazil have a far different path to a government of the people. Russia and China are communist countries and have their own paths to greater freedom for their people. It takes time to build a country. That is good thing. There would be no stability in the world if the winds changed every other year. I think the word Wall Street uses is CONFIDENCE. They want confidence to invest. Good reputations build confidence to investors. Stability in the world is a very good thing if people are to move their countries to a standard that improves their quality of life.

Russia is always interested in 'stable states.' It lost the post Soviet states because they were ready to be self-governing. Ukraine wanted to be neutral, but, Yanukovych put his power first. Now there is corruption beyond his removal to contend with. Russia needs to respect Minsk II. They don't like the NGOs because they bring political pressures the eastern communists don't want. They see the NGOs as coercive.

Good night. I've rambled enough. I look forward to another "Day of Francis." His mass for the people in Philadelphia is his crown and glory for the trip. It is the mass for families.
I think Pope Francis spoke with Speaker Boehner about the activities of the US House in relation to people within the USA including the immigrants. I think that talk could have easily made up the Speakers mind to leave. He was constantly conflicted by the disarray with his own party.

John Boehner will finally have peace in his life when he leaves, but, his leaving isn't going to change the dysfunction in the House. If anything his leaving will make it worse.

The US House is working on the CR until November 20th when it will be brought to the House floor. That date is after John Boehner leaves.

The US House is emboldened now. McCarthy has a lot of restraint to enforce to bring order again to the US House. I really think John Boehner left for his own reasons and damn the House. I don't blame him, but, his leaving is not going to resolve anything and the extremists won their infighting. The extremists admittedly has no answers to any of this infighting, but, it was important to them POLITICALLY to remove the Speaker.

None of it makes sense, except, to FOX News anchors.

The so called Values Voter Summit had no reason to cheer except their own hubris. They have their own reality.

The House is going to be a mess for more than the next couple of months unless some of the Republicans resolve to work with the Democrats in the spirit of bipartisanship.

Other than Pope Francis' address to the joint meeting of Congress, there isn't any legacy for John Boehner. It was the most do nothing Congress in history. I think it beats all other Congresses. When Nancy Pelosi was Speaker there were record setting numbers in the bills the House did pass. That sure has heck didn't happen with the "Impasse Congress."

Pope Francis helped John Boehner resolve his conflict. I am happy for him. He loves the country and he wasn't going to harm it. There is every reason to believe his resignation and what lead up to it is probably going to define his legacy.

So John Boehner was looking for an optimal time to leave the Speakership. And Donald Trump was booed and stated he was cheered. There is a reality that exists with Trump. He has his own constituency. He has the numbers. Yes, that's right. The American Plutocracy may very well have coupe the US Constitution by it's own mechanisms. It is possible for a plutocrat to take on the system and win without catering to cronies. It is a populous movement that can produce the numbers that a well meaning billionaire will win an election for President. It is all legal. Donald Trump can be painfully truthful and keep his constituency. He is anti-corruption. No one in the populous movement will abandon him necessarily. Winning without cronies is an anti-corruption agenda. This isn't new. I have been saying it for weeks now. DENIAL is an incredible capacity of a country dominated by a Plutocracy that seeks control of consumerism. There is a lot of denial in the USA population. It is learned denial. The solace is that the American public grabbed onto and prioritized their local economies post 2008. There can't be sincere learned denial in a local economy. It is the smallest economic component and is KNOWN to the population within it. Denial to create success for profit is not tolerated in a local economy, hence, the no GMO movcement. I've been saying this for seven years now. Where has everyone been? Oh, yeah. In denial. No one should be surprised. I have been out here carrying the truth about the destruction of Earth's troposphere called the Climate Crisis. Talk about denial. "Do you BELIEVE in human induced global warming?" BELIEVE? The heating of Earth is not a belief system, it is scientifically proven and is measurable, otherwise it wouldn't be scientifically proven. Believe? That is a theocracy, not a democracy with high esteem for science since Benjamin Franklin. It isn't just the climate crisis! Does the USA still have a problem with racism? Is there income and wealth inequality? Hello? That is called denial. Has the USA Middle Class been vanishing since the political demand to end unions. It's all provable, but, a voter has to BELIEVE. Unions are not belief systems, it is proven need to maintain a Middle Class that is the backbone of a stable economy. Denial. The USA has a big problem with it.

Donald Trump is a perfect storm with a Supreme Court as a facilitator.

One other thing about John Boehner. He was looking for an optimal time to leave the Speakership, BUT, he didn't make up his mind until yesterday evening. I think the Pope influenced his choices. What dedicated Catholic wants to be out of step with God?

I think Pope Francis was generous about all the technology at the school. He had made a point to end high technology that threatens work with people. Now, mobile phones may create jobs, but, the Pope basically tempers his tolerance of it.
I am very proud of the people of New York City. They inconvenienced their own lives to allow safe passage of Pope Francis. It is a wonderful time for throngs of people. They are safe, too. Thank you.

Pope Francis, the messenger of the truth.

Pope Francis in the procession after the mass.

Another incredible day.
