Trump doesn’t care about human life.

He could not care less about any American in the USA except perhaps his family. It is real easy for him to kill so long as he has a rat hole to disappear into when the bombs start falling.

Trump was probably feeling very uncomfortable at the G7. He had to answer questions like, “Why did you reassign Greenland with the North American military directorate rather than leaving it with Europe’s deployment ?”

Or there is the issue with Canada, like, “Why did you deploy an entire Arizona National Guard Military Police unit to Alaska for a year? MPs? What are they going to do kill endangered Polar Bears?

Being at the G7 is far different than sitting in DC issuing presidential decrees. Very different. Trump will have to have answers he isn’t prepared to handle. It is easier to pretend to be needed by Israel.

Nuclear Triad

Trump better know where every submarine in the Russian and Chinese fleet is right now!

“New START” expires in February 2026. We have no such treaty with China or North Korea.

The UN Security Council should be convening to stop this madness. They cannot displace 10 million people. There is no viable route for the rehoming of the entire city of Tehran. This us insane.

Trump left the G7 to kill people?

Where are the Saudis in this? These are the Shi’ites. Iran holds the only sovereign country the Shi’ites call home.

Netanyahu needs to take a huge step back from this brink. He is wiping away Palestine in Gaza and now the Shi’ites homeland?

This is madness.

Where is Ali Khameni? Someone needs to reason with him. There must be a peace table.

There are nearly 10 million people in Tehran. What does Trump mean evacuate Tehran? What the hell is going on? This is not reasonable.

I know the Saudis are Sunni, but, there has to be someone to reason with Iran.

Please. This is the home of 10 million people.

There are too many guns on the street.

Innocent people are being gunned down by just being an American. We are back to Al Capone.

These were all peaceful demonstrations and a cop/peacekeeper allowed a gun to take an innocent life. This is not crowd control. Why are police carrying live ammunition to a protest by innocent citizens.

When exercising crowd control there are choices to be made, carrying live ammunition into a crowd of innocent people is not one of them.

The peacekeepers are a vigilante group called “50501 Movement.” It sounds as though the peacekeeper was actually there to cause a mass killing event rather than defending a peaceful demonstration.

50501 Movement (click here)

I think the facts behind peacekeepers and the death of a bystander is clear as mud. Who the heck is the shooter? Why hasn’t Salt Lake City defined what happened here?

There are far too many guns on the street. Cities need to take example of New York City on New Years Eve and provide for safe demonstrations rather than opportunities for mass murder. There has to be better control of the danger in society right now.

Ordinances, local ordinances, must be passed to facilitate police to provide safe venues where participants are screened for guns, knives, or any other potential mass murder weapon.

The gun wackos are on the loose. We saw it in the deaths of Congress persons and we are seeing it in Salt Lake City. The “tone” of the country is hate and fear. It does not breed safety. There are methods to bringing this under control while protecting police and maintaining our democracy.

Americans recognized enhanced control over violence after September 11, 2001. They will recognize it this time, too. They will cooperate. We are dealing with domestic terrorists and their actions are beginning to become common place. This is mimicking. It is fueled online.

This is the case Trump used to instill fear and hatred.

There is no doubt this is a tragedy no American condones. But, for a president to express hate and fear to an entire half million Venezuelan people for deportation is an astounding abuse of power for political satiation of racism.

A meticulous thinker

On days like this, I think about my father. He was a devout Roman Catholic, and a really great man.

I always thought it was sad that he never went to college because he should have. But he grew up in abject poverty. His father was a blacksmith in the Pennsylvania anthracite coal mines. My grandfather made the shovels and pickaxes for the men.

When my father graduated from high school, he didn’t have a lot of options. He had a great high school career including a state championship baseball pitcher. My father was a letterman in high school.

One day out of the blue he called his mother from Texas and said, “I’m in the Air Force.”

“Well, how did you manage that?,” she said, “You have an enlarged heart.”

He just laughed and he said, “Mom, I’m gonna be OK and I’ll be seeing you soon.” My father enlisted for four years. He became an ammunitions expert and before he knew it he was off to the Korean War. He rarely spoke of his years of serve, but, when I, a teenager at the time, could prod him to recall those days he talked as a Sargent about his crew. They would sleep on the tarmac whenever there were bombing runs to load the planes as they came in so they could take flight quickly again.

My Dad loved to take pictures. He had a 35 mm camera which he purchased in Korea. He kept a book of black-and-white pictures of his days in South Korea. I found that collection of pictures fascinating.

He found the reference to “the Korean Conflict” offensive. He said, “ The men went there to defend their country and died. It was a war just like any other war. It was not a conflict.”

He believed the USA military was a really fascinating and moral power. He stated the USA never waged war to kill for the sake of killing. He stated the USA waged war to end a threat. He would use as an example the issued ammunition of bullets that were full metal jackets. He said a full metal jacket was never about killing the opposition soldier. It is to stop the opposition from killing us. He said those bullets were intended to wound an attacking soldier and end his ability to be a threat without killing him. He said the state of our munitions told the world that we were a defense force to end a threat, not a conquering country. He said other countries who hated us didn’t have a strong reason to fear us so much as respect us.

After returning from four years in the Air Force my father went to work in a chemical factory in New Jersey in 1960. He worked there for 30 years. He went in as a pipe fitter and became a shop steward for the Union after three months of employment. It was only about a year later when the management decided it would be better if he was on their side and they gave him a job as a supervisor to one of the lines in the chemical factory.

The company was known initially as Bakelite. It would later become Union Carbide. As a supervisor my father had a lot of friends and every Christmas my mother would bake food for a party for the men on his line. My dad would help my mother put together some meals so that everybody on his shift receive a Christmas dinner. There was always this big sheet cake for everyone on the shift. My Dad was a really great guy who lived in the moment and his good fortune to have a good paying job.

At the end of his shift, my dad would go into the showers to be sure the chemically tainted clothes he wore were in a duffel bag so the family wasn’t exposed to it. He’d bring the duffel bag home and put them in a special bin for washing. He was always extremely careful about himself.

There was never one accident or one injury to anyone under his supervision the entire time he worked.

In 1984 the plant in Bohpal, India caused deaths with a chemical leak. As a result a new position called emergency coordinator opened up at the Union Carbide plant in Bound Brook, New Jersey. The emergency coordinator answered to only one person, and that was the plant manager. Everyone in that plant answered to the emergency coordinator.

My Dad didn’t have any formal college education but he was a really smart man who had learned how to handle chemicals in the Air Force. The plant manager first called on him as the first person to fill that position. He accepted the job because he loved it. He was already chief of the fire brigade and was always very, very conscientious about safety. He would go onto whatever training he could get his hands on to know what was best to do for his employer and the employees and the community.

The plant would end up having a chemical foam truck that was the only one of its kind in a 500 mile radius. It was one of the most valuable tools that Union Carbide could have that also was used in the community when necessary. That foam truck would smother fires.

When my father retired after 30 years with Union Carbide he loved being on the outside looking in and away from the stress of that heavy responsibility. He loved being home with family and grandchildren. My dad was a humble, Roman Catholic man who sought to understand life and make it work for him and for his family, but never once at the expense of others.

A day would come when he received a telephone call from the plant manager. The new emergency coordinator was floundering a bit. My father was asked to consult in his retirement to write procedures that would result in volumes of insight and caution. He literally went back to the plant and walk the property remembering every aspect of the care he took of all people working there. He was paid well for his consultation and authorship. His final act as an employee made him realize the sincere value of his work for 30 years. Passing on wisdom in written text was easy for him.

My father first had integrity, discipline, a humility for God, and the love of other people. My father was a product of this country. He was a great man. He was admired and people liked being his friend.

He had interest in cars, baseball, being a coach for my youngest sister and her softball team all the way into college. Along with the respect that I had for my father he also instilled a respect for this country.

This country had given my family opportunity at every return. It wasn’t an opportunity flagged by privilege. We worked for our opportunity.

My father disdained bigotry and hatred. We never saw skin color. We always saw the person. I remember visiting a university as a graduating high school senior to speak with a career counselor. She was African-American. And this was about 1973. As I sat there and discussed the way forward for me, she stopped and paused, and I looked at her, and she said, “You don’t see my skin color, do you?”

I said, “Oh, my goodness I apologize. Is there something I said that offended you?”

She said, “Absolutely not. It’s just the opposite. You said nothing that offended me.”

There is not a darn thing wrong with this democracy, the focus of the people, and the future it sees on the horizon. My memory is long and it reflects on a country that cared about its people through this dynamic democracy. That should never end. The United States of America has a future, but it is not along the path it is traveling now.

My father, on this Father’s Day, stands as an example to the greatness of this country and the decency of the people within it. There isn’t a darn thing wrong with the USA and we should all be proud of this country. We all have a proud heritage of opportunity and inclusion and must dispel the hatred that serves the power playing burgeoning oligarchy.

“Happy Father’s Day to every decent father in this country. We will never abandon you.”

There is currently a $50,000 reward for the murderers.

No Kings Demonstrations

There was strength and bravery on review all over this great country. The 250th anniversary of the USA army is the beginning of the celebration of a soon to be 250 year anniversary of this country.

Next year on July 4, 2026 the United States of America will be 250 years old. To ensure our country’s anniversary arrives with an intact USA Constitution there were magnificent parades of patriots in the No King Marches. These marches are in long tradition of deterring the undermining of this great democracy.

Today, the number of marchers across this country far exceeded those attending the parade of a 250 year old army.

Everyone that marched today should have great pride in the bravery shown in the face of escalating political violence. Along with those that marched are the innumerable Americans supporting the marchers at a distance.

We have a great military, but, more than that we have a great country.

Republican leaders must denounce the violence.

These magnificent people are nothing but heroes to all.

Personal data must come off official websites. Constituents do not need personal data. There are official offices for government interests with constituents.

Children and spouses are not political or government officials. This level of exposed privacy is not appropriate.

There are domestic terrorists that want to destroy civilization for bizarre reasons. Don’t make it easy. Law makers at every level of government should have personal data hidden from the public including exposure such as driver’s licenses. Their online information, including spouse and children should not accessible except to law enforcement when absolutely necessary.

It is not necessary to understand them, so much as stop them, and protect us. Bizarre reasons for violence are mental health problems that society is not responsible to understand.

This is a coup of government.

Charges need to be filed against Noem, her abuse of power, and assault of a USA Congressman. Charges have to be filed for police brutality. Who are these people? They must be paid a sweet amount of money to break the law, beat a USA Congressman, and act as an insubordinate to the USA Constitution.

An investigation must be pursued. This is freely elected Congressman.

It's not Israel's fault.

The USA vacillated too much.

We had an Iranian Nuclear Deal that was compiled by Former Secretary Kerry and then the Republicans had to play with their strong man politics and make Iran an enemy. Trump trashed the Iranian Deal.

Israel lost patience with diplomacy that could not deliver Israel's sovereignty and the safety of the people of Israel.

Biden tried to revive all that was good about Kerry's work, but, Iran wasn't convinced there could ever be a real peace. Then Trump came back into office and trashed the process all over again.

Israel lost confidence in it's allies and this is the result. It is the same issue with Gaza. Israel does not believe any other country finds it sovereignty important to make decisions that will resolve any uncertainty.

There was a time when one President built up on the success of the other until issues were resolved. Now. The politics of the USA is all over the map and no one has confidence in any policy the USA pretends is important. The entire face of peace and prosperity of the USA is gone replaced with the mind of a madman that demands payment for any DEAL he thinks worthy of his consent.

The Shia crescent, including Iran, is on fire tonight for lacking a clear vision forward for it's people.

I blame Trump and his corruption including his political party that is creating a far more dangerous world. This is clear incompetency when a USA ally believes it has to take matters into it's own hands to provide national security for its people.

Thank you, Judge Breyer

The Trump overreach is dangerous. The National Guard troops sent to Los Angeles never completed education in crowd control, etc.

The people need to have their sense of well being restored. They are living in fear and sometimes grief. It isn’t right to treat people with such levels of cruelty.

There will be no killing of demonstrators.

Protesting is a fundamental right to illustrate injustice and/or wrong doing in government. If protesters become agitated and may start to cause damage, they will be arrested and charged. But, at no time will their lives be on the line to demonstrate, especially with the hostilities spewing out of DC.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey should be ashamed of himself. It was a cheap trick to keep protesters at home. Threats of death are very serious issues. I think an apology is in order.

She needs asylum status

Ms. Petrova needs to start her Green Card process to become a citizen in the USA. I am reading the articles about her and I don’t see a reference to a particular species of frog.

Medical research can use specially grown lab animals. So, they could be a modified version of the wild species. I think it strange to carry them in a suitcase. Anytime I needed to get an article home I would mail it home rather than taking stuff in an airport.

At any rate, the frogs were probably expensive to purchase. The vendor she purchased from probably told her it would be safe for the frogs to travel in her suitcase without considering customs and regulations. When people have innocent minds they don’t connect to criminal behavior.

She can’t return to Russia. She would never be appreciated for her talent. She would be seen as an enemy of the motherland. I believe her treatment when arriving to Russia would be the same as the journalists whom did nothing wrong except write about Navalny. So, if she wants to remain in the USA she should be given asylum to protect her life.

She might hand you answer for transporting so m e kind of contraband into the USA, but, that should not require deportation.

These are planned events.

Unless they want to participate and march with demonstrators, law enforcement is not necessary.

Emergency personnel and equipment are always welcome. There are participants of all ages and ability with unknown medical issues that could manifest into health problems. Vaccinations encouraged.

I have never seen such hatred in my life.

It is possible to move this to the Hague.

The immigrants traumatized by Homeland Security and ICE yesterday were going about peaceful lives and bothering no one. They were productive members of their community and primarily were working for a living.

Noem's TARGETS primarily yesterday seems to be pregnant women and children. The least likely people to be focusing on disrupting the USA's national security are pregnant women and children, yet, they were targeted in the HATE RAIDS yesterday in Los Angeles and it's suburbs. Suburbs aren't safe from Noem's hate of peaceful immigrants.

The MAGA mantra includes the verbiage Border Babies and Anchor babies. If you don't know what that means, then look it up. Most Americans born in this country has a heritage of one or the other forms of infants.

Noem in all her hatred of immigrants and misdirected loyalty to a mentally challenged president have decided ICE hate raids are best to include pregnant women and children.

A woman of any ethnic background is vulnerable to trauma when pregnant. There is the placenta organ that supports the baby and is bonded to a woman's uterus to deliver hydration and nutrition to that unborn child. When the placenta becomes traumatized there are innumerable problems for the woman and unborn. There can be permanent disabilities to the unborn all the way to death of the mother and unborn.

This focus by Homeland Security's ICE is compounded by unsanitary holding conditions with lack of available water and food. That further complicates a woman's safety and the well being of the unborn. The horses in a slaughter pen have more room to breath than the detainees held by ICE. Their outcomes may not be any better than these animals for all we know. Records from hospitals need to be reviewed during the dates these hate raids take place to determine the extent these people, men, women, and children are mistreated.

Children of any age and any ethnic background need love and care in order to grow up happy and healthy adults. The children abducted by ICE hate raids are nothing but traumatized. I doubt they are being held in the crowded adult facilities with their parents. So, the idea a child feels abandoned is guaranteed. Where those feelings of abandonment are felt will last them a lifetime and cause a deep trauma reaction that can result in all sorts of problems for society. Behaviors after traumatic childhoods are well documents although these ICE hate raids are a new form of abusive trauma that may have yet to be realized as a young person and adult.

Donald John Trump, Christi Noem, and those that participated in these ICE hate raids are all eligible for review by the ICC.

As far as what States can do. I am only suggesting there be independent councils formed at the State level. One such council can be "The Council on Immigration," while the other can be "The Council for the Empowerment of Minority Communities." Such councils can be funded from private and/or state funds with elected membership from communities throughout the state with large immigrant populations. There are 43.3 million immigrants in the USA and that number isn't going to change much. Immigration includes all sorts of ethnicity, however, the immigrant experience is unique from being a naturally born minority in the USA.

A Council on the Empowerment of Minority Communities can be funded by private or state funds and comprised of freely elected members representative of the minority community. Their purpose and mission is to understand the depth of the threats leveled by any government entity on the lives of the community. I would expect religious leaders to be a members of the council as well as freely elected representatives. There is no reason to have a Council to Empower Caucasians. That is simply stupid.

But, these councils can have direct access to the Governor and the Attorney General to be able to bring any and all problems to their attention for legislative action. I don't think having a legislator on such councils will be helpful. It brings politics into the function of the councils and that is a detriment and not a benefit to their purpose.

Personally, from what I am witnessing with this administration and it's CAMPAIGN OF FEAR will cause the targeted persons and communities to react. That reaction has to be channeled so people can go about their lives knowing there are others looking out for them. My hopes for such councils is to bring real life understanding to the impact of the rhetoric and the terror leveled at the very good people of these communities.

Empowerment is a huge word and can be realized in a variety of ways. One of the best ways is to bring ethnic healing to the community and state through fund raising street parties and/or local fairs that can be a demonstration of talent in the way I think of 4-H or a state fair. The idea is to bring good feelings to the minority community as well as the state and appreciate what diversity is all about. Empowerment can also be about safety and how a community can draw strength from hate rather than fear.

These ICE Hate Raids leave other grieving for those now MISSING. When people go missing the fear that will occur to others grows exponentially and that is what Governor Newsom had to contend with yesterday. Councils of empowerment can have hotlines to report the missing and seek answers to their whereabouts. Knowing where they were taken and if they were taken can begin the path of Due Process. My sincere concern is that when any person goes missing there is a real life worry they may be dead or disposed of in ways that are untraceable. It is important Due Process begin for anyone taken in the ICE Hate Raids.

AGAIN. These people are of no danger to society or national security in anyway. The idea millions of taxpayer dollars are being spent on productive human beings within our borders while there are many more real life dangers facing the people of this country. To say the use of ICE to conduct Hate Raids is a huge waste of taxpayer money and should never be sanctioned as necessary in this country.

I am appalled by the gross mishandling of illegal immigration all the way to the Visa Process. This is nothing but deranged people with priorities no civilized society should emulate. International allies should feel empowered to reach out to any American in reassurance of their own views of the hatred on full display with this administration. The United Nations needs to conduct inspections of all holding facilities including at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
