He isn’t rehearsing for The Apprentice.
Hegseth isn’t the man for the job. Just as Musk wasn’t and DoGE is proving to be a domestic threat to Americans privacy and security.
I don’t know if I spoke to this before, but, identity theft that rips peoples lives apart occurs with the exact methodology used by DoGE, except DoGE doesn’t hack into databases. Trump just gives them the key.
I don’t know many Americans that haven’t received a letter in the mail stating a website that was supposed to be secure has been hacked. Right? Americans minding their own business and doing due diligence with their credit score never expect what happens and may not understand how it happened when identity theft arrives.
This is the way it happens. A letter comes in the mail apologizing for a security breach at a private company that services the billing of a favorite department store. Then a week or so maybe even a month another letter arrives apologizing for a security breach at another favorite shopping spot. Then six months goes by and there is a third letter. Another six months go by and a fourth letter arrives.
Then about a month after the fourth letter another letter arrives, but, this time from the IRS stating to make an appointment with the closest office and oh by the way bring your receipts. After making an appointment at the IRS there is still yet another letter that arrives stating congratulations you have a new account at a diamond exchange but you never asked for it.
You call the diamond exchange to thank them for the generous offer but aren’t interested. The clerk at the diamond exchange asks why you changed your mind and you state you never applied for it. The diamond exchange sends a letter calling this episode as identity theft and as a service to you a report of identity theft is sent to the credit bureaus.
You keep your appointment with the IRS and in the office sits two agents. One in front of the computer and the other watching you as backup for the agents at the computer. Basically, a witness.
One agent asks you to enter important information into the little grey box so the computer can pull up your records. You comply after all you have nothing to hide. Then the agents asks for your receipts. You look bewildered because the file you brought with you only contains the short form and supporting documents. You tell the agent this is your tax return and you still haven’t received this year’s $647.00 refund.
The second agent looks over the shoulder of the first agent and turns saying, “Miss this return isn’t what is in the screen.” You looked more bewildered as the agents examine prior year filings. They come to the conclusion the $25,000 refund being requested is identity theft.
Alarmed and confused the second agent explains to you the fraudulent return was claiming an enormous gambling debt. If you didn’t produce the receipts you would then be facing legal peril. But, how did this happen you ask?
The second agent asks if you received any letters about security breaches from businesses you frequent. You say yes, four over the past two years, the latest a month ago.
The agent goes on to explain each security breach gives the hackers more and more information. Over time with each new breach a profile is created. He states the fourth letter completed missing pieces to your profile and they began to use it. At that point your return becomes evidence and as an American taxpayer you will receive a letter stating their conclusion as well as information to help guide you through what will inevitably follow.
When I heard about the blanket intrusion by DoGE into government websites that contain enormous amounts of information about Americans my first thought was, “They are no different than hackers accumulating vast amounts of information to consolidate a single federal identity.” Because that is exactly what DoGE is doing. The exact same thing. The question is, WHY.
My identity is no more their right to have than the hackers. If there are crimes to be investigated than get it documented and bring a search warrant. But, to realize DoGE is accumulating my personal information for their own purposes is a crime. They don’t have authority to do so. Nor should they.
We are faced with enormous problems day after day as Trump continues his paranoid need for control of every human being on Earth.
And.
What do we have serving up our defense department? A former FOX News commentator that has used taxpayer money to build a beauty salon at the Pentagon. Why a hair salon? For DRAMA QUEEN appearances on Truth Social. After all, isn’t Hegseth, even after firing the top brass, under attack moment after moment by “The Biden Deep State?”
Trump has to go.
Oh, I forgot. It is vital to control every human mind on Earth so we are all pleasing to God and he will feel safe to send his son to walk among us again.

The stupid ideology of removing illegal immigrants has been Republican hubris for a long time. In realizing the U.S.A. Melting Pot was vital to the culture and economy of the U.S.A. and faced with long lingering expectations of Republican voters, Former President George W. Bush laid it out. He was very clear about the value of the migrants that came legally and illegally. In that, he laid out parameters where the Undocumented can obtain legal status. It had nothing to do with citizenship. It was a carefully thought out method to allow them to function within the borders of the U.S.A. while contributing to our enormous economy.
Millions of people have found their way safely to the USA for asylum. Most of the Undocumented are requesting asylum and we know for a fact they are not faking it.
Judges are vital to the functioning of this democracy. In the case of the Undocumented judges are friends that guide the future to a safe landing for both the country and the Undocumented.
The FBI and ICE are engaged in illegal actions directed by Trump. The loyalty of the FBI and ICE to ANY order from the Oval Office is wrong and misplaced loyalty. The actions today attacking Judge Dugan is all a part of a loyalty pledge to Trump in violation of the USA Constitution.
The laws of this country do not allow an invasion of privacy WITHOUT Due Process. There are huge violations of privacy as directed by Trump and his minions in DoGE. Every citizen in this country in unison with immigrants should be demanding removal of Trump and a thorough investigation to ICE, FBI Director, and DoGE.
Judge Dugan was absolutely correct in directing immigrants before her court working through an immigration system established decades ago to safe and unburdened exits from her courtroom.
We do not live in a police state, yet Trump directs law enforcement under his control to operate as if everyone is Trump’s dire enemy. The actions by ICE and now the FBI are issues of entrapment and not law enforcement. If an immigrant before Judge Dugan’s Court had violated the law in an egregious way she would have acted accordingly to be sure he/she/they were arrested for trial. Her integrity is not in question. What is at hand is her loyalty oath to Trump.
ICE and the FBI agents carrying out draconian enforcement of power players in this administration are guilty of using illegally obtained privacy documents and carrying illegal investigations and apprehensions of innocent people including Judge Dugan, all the Undocumented, and Legal Immigrants asserting their First Amendment RIGHTS.
ICE and FBI agents are causing people within the USA borders to act illegally to attempt to avoid arrest and deportation to who knows where. Whether ICE, Trump, or Patel likes it or not the USA has ALWAYS protected the vulnerable. Now. The elite of law enforcement is turning on the very Constitution that provides their authority to exist. They are not allowed to hunt people down, law abiding people with families and jobs. They are especially not allowed to hunt people down when their privacy information is illegally obtained through an out of control administration.
Every officer that participated in arresting Judge Dugan are in violation of the U.S.A. Constitution and actions against them should proceed. Judge Dugan should be released to continue her good and vital work with all drummed up charges dropped with a full apology to her and her family.
Every American is vulnerable to invasion of privacy by Musk and DoGE indulging Trump’s stupid need for control. That need for control is criminal and must stop. Every American is vulnerable without exception. There is not one law that allows what occurred today.

Patel is breaking the law.

There is no way this can stand unless Trump deports Judge Dugan to Russia on the next plane out.
The Supreme Court already ruled on illegal conduct by Trump. There are to be further hearings. Trump and Patel need to be arraigned for crimes of malicious prosecution and that is only the beginning.
Trump is having a hissy fit because his dictatorship is on hold by the USA Constitution and Due Process. Bondi is involved, otherwise Patel is riding high on his own ego.
Unfortunately, the Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Karl will have to deal with this. Judge Dugan was illegally arrested in Wisconsin. It is where she practices and lives. Basically, she is kidnapped by Patel and the ICE officers.
The lawful way of dealing with decisions by judges is through appeals. The appeals to rulings in favor of Americans are moving along quickly. There is absolutely no reason for such radical episodes like this. The public has a right to know the charges OTHER than she ruled in favor of immigrants. A judge’s ruling is not a basis for criminal charges. Even if corrupt there are impeachment proceedings that should be conducted.

A loss so young is difficult to reconcile.
Molly McGovern passed today. Sometimes life just isn’t fair. Condolences to US House Representative Jim McGovern, his spouse, Molly’s brother, as well as family and friends.
Senator Durbin will be missed.
Senator Durbin has steadied the ship for many years. His leadership has been strong and moral, always taking the high road. I don’t remember one day of hubris or leadership tainted with the wrong path for the USA. If anything Senator Durbin conducted strong moral influence over policy written and passed into law serving all Americans.
Thank you for decades of effective moral leadership.
Thank you, Governor Pritzker.
When you are right, you are right and Governor Pritzker is right.
This democracy is build on fundamental human rights AND fairness. We are innocent until proven guilty. Within that understanding there is a clear definition of Due Process. I might point out Donald Trump enjoyed Due Process when he was arrested. Yet, he would deny it to others.
This clearly illustrates what is very wrong with the illegal use of the ancient law Trump found ARA (Alien Enemies Act). The ARA is used at a time of war and quite frankly even FDR never used it during WWII. Don’t confuse exile with detainment.
If such a provision in the law could be conjured up at any time even in times of domestic peace, we would never have a reasonable domestic peace. If such chaos were allowed to be used at will rather than within the boundaries of the definitions in the law, people would have undergrounds and methods of hiding that became a way of life.
El Salvador and the USA share many treaties, including United Nations conventions. It appears El Salvador has stepped outside those treaties to facilitate a prisoner exchange with Venezuela that otherwise would not occur. Mr. Trump managed to corrupt even international agreements.
I wish Governor Pritzket great success in reclaiming Due Process as well as international order.
Malicious Prosecution
Get used to the idea Trump and Gun Moll Bondi are going to file false charges. There will be investigations that are way out of line. What will have to occur is State Attorney Generals will have to counter file with charges against Trump and Bondi.
People and businesses have a primary address. That is the State Attorney to report malicious intent by the federal government.
Want to be an oligarch?
Buy a dinner and all corruption is possible. He is violating the ISA Constitution. But, his entire presidency to date violates something about the moral content of American life and law.

Here is a new twist on problems with the federal government.

But, is killing a reproducing female actually harm?
Yeah, it is.
Do I think this was an mistake? No. I think someone is trying to keep their job or better to prove loyalty to Trump. The species carries the name Mexican. What else is there to say?
This is the second female to be found dead and/or killed in less than a month. Ella, the delightfully wandering female was found dead with an investigation to determine the cause of death. I don't think either of these deaths were necessary.
Ella in her wandering manner was teaching us a great deal about Mexican Wolf Habitat. It is easy to say the extent of their range in the USA was grossly under reported. Ella showed up they considered their homeland to extend far further north than originally reported.
That is the problem with threatened and endangered species, there are too few of them to accurately know why the numbers are dwindling. Ella, was showing up simply by the nature of her consistent wander the habitat was too confining.
The Mexican gray wolf (click here) who just last week was located north of Interstate 40 near Mount Taylor in New Mexico was found dead on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has indicated that the cause of Ella’s death is under investigation. She was named “Ella” by schoolchildren and her intrepid spirit was the subject of news coverage over the weekend.
“We’re deeply saddened that her journey has come to an end, because her roaming was teaching us about where Mexican gray wolves choose to be,” said Greta Anderson, deputy director of Western Watersheds Project. “The agencies insist on keeping wolves south of Interstate 40 in Arizona and New Mexico based on the ‘historic range’ of the species, but wolves like Ella live in the present and they are showing us their species’ future is in an expanded northern range.”...

A federal wildlife agency “mistakenly” (click here) killed an endangered and possibly pregnant breeding-age Mexican gray wolf in Greenlee County, according to a memo from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The killing occurred after officials issued a lethal removal order for an uncollared wolf from the Bear Canyon wolf pack on April 7 in response to a series of attacks on livestock grazing on public land.
The order, signed by Brady McGee, the Mexican wolf coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, authorized the USDA’s Wildlife Services to kill one uncollared wolf from the pack, but preserve the breeding female wolf, known as AF1823, who was wearing a nonfunctioning radio collar.
“It is our intent not to remove the breeding female (wearing a nonfunctioning radio collar) who will likely whelp a new litter of pups soon,” stated the order....

U.S. Rep. Jared Huffman, (click here) the ranking Democrat on the House Natural Resources Committee, didn't hesitate when asked what he thought the Trump administration's goal was with its approach to the environment and land-management agencies.
"I think it's chaos, in a nutshell," the Californian said while recording the National Parks Traveler's upcoming podcast. "And it's the same thing that we see across the board, from their economic policy to their social policy to their foreign policy. Chaos is the point. Chaos is the feature. And it is, frankly, how authoritarians divide us and overwhelm us and consolidate power.
"That may be a little bit of an academic answer to your question, but I think it's the moment we're in, and no part of government is untouched by that agenda, including our public lands," added Huffman....
Pressure to concede.
This is Trump’s thing. He chronically carries a white flag and that is not new. He is a weak president and because of that the USA is compromised. As a compromised country with a weak president we are not good partners at any peace table.
Trump does not understand nor cares to understand if the USA concedes it’s strength to communists they will continue to demand more and more concessions even after the peace agreement is signed at a huge ceremony.
Trump does NOT get it.
Trump wants the ceremony. What happens to get it doesn’t matter to him.
The world is on to him. He gets played all the time. He got played by Musk and the problems the USA is facing because of Trump’s lack of character is enormous.
The EU should continue peace talks.
Trump is irrelevant. That picture alone proves the threat. NATO must remain uncompromised.
Trump is unable and/or unwilling to protect the USA national security with a Secretary of Defense allowing insecure communications at the time the USA military is engaged in strategic actions.
He loved the simple, faithful of God.
Pope Francis loved the people. Easter Sunday was typical of a papal truth in that God loves the flock. Francis just exuded his devotion to faith and exemplified God’s love of the faithful. It truly was the way he saw his final
hours.
Regardless, of advice to remain at rest on Sunday it was not in his character to put himself and his physical body first. Easter Sunday belonged to the faithful. Pope Francis, as God’s messenger, needed to let the faithful know of the miracle of faith and the love God has for them.
Keeping with his practice throughout his life his funeral proceedings reflect the humility he demanded of himself and all those surrounding him. Pope Francis’ caretakers respected his expression of faith during his time as Pope and continues that respect until his final resting place.
He will be missed. The conclave to decide his successor will be set for sometime in May. Until then Pope Francis will remain at the heart of the Roman Catholic faith.

That says it all doesn’t it?
Admiration by one murderer of another. I take it Trump is not complaining about it being an ugly portrait of himself?
There is no other president in history that would accept such a thing to be placed anywhere near him. Only, Trump.
That is Trump’s graduation present. He graduated from the Putin school of governance. Correspondence course is my understanding.
The school motto is kill ‘em first and ask questions later. Or maybe no questions at all.
No accountability.
That is what is missing here. After at least 50 years since Nixon; Americans have been holding their elected officials responsible for the truth and accountability. Now, according to the Trump administration, none of that is necessary.
Lying to the electorate is okay.
Turning their backs on responsibility is okay.
Being held accountable when things go wrong is old world.
The only thing that matters is loyalty to Trump.
Shame on everyone.
The American people are watching.
Continued damage to USA national security.
The greatest strength the USA has to national security is not the military alone. The USA, over decades of time, developed allies and friends sharing common moral grounds and now Trump and his minions are destroying it.
Trump is not interested in protecting lives or ending human rights abuses. Trump wants to exert power afforded him by the nature of the USA to bring suffering and quite frankly to kill people. He is a moron and an idiot that likes feeling like a militarized strong man, but, he doesn’t even come close.
National security is A BALANCE of power. When that balance of power is gone people start to die and it isn’t because of old age.
The mentally ill moron occupying the White House dominated by another meat head with a lot of money has absolutely no clue how the world works or what respect for quality of life looks like.
They will never care about what is important to Americans so don’t bother trying. They need to be removed from power to protect life. With them people are and will continue to die. Without them the world has a chance of survival with humanity at the forefront.
The State Department has grown enormously over time and the benefits from that cannot be measured. Trump and the teenyboppers of DoGE believe they have a right to raid the USA Treasury pretending the entire time it is for the benefit of the people. This arrogance is everywhere in this administration all the way ftom the corruption of plans for Greenland and Canada to Junior’s belief the USA National Forests and Parks were preserved for him to now clear cut for personal profit. I don’t remember reading USA history where Teddy Roosevelt stated, “Protect the woods as Don, Junior needs a life somewhere down the timeline of the county.”
This administration is stupid, naive, and believes the very lies they use to carry out their national security compromising racketeering.
