Due Process

We are a civilized people. Freedom of speech is one of the reasons why. Participation in demonstrations is freedom of speech. Demonstration is supposed to be a strong statement of personal belief. It is not uncommon for students at universities when they believe they are ignored and unheard to enter buildings for emphasis. 

I don’t know what it feels like to be a Palestinian in the USA, but, they say it feels like genocide. When a scholar states she believes there is genocide in the world we have an obligation to listen regardless of our politics. Genocide is not a political issue, it is a horrific and final act against a genetic code. That is outlawed internationally and in any moral dictate in the world of civilization. 

Those arguments and the ones of the Late Justice Scalia should have been made in a courtroom of due process AT THE REQUEST of Tufts University. Instead, a Palestinian woman scholar wearing her custom public dress was terrified by ICE (supposedly as they were identified) and removed from her home to be returned to danger somewhere in the Middle East where Palestinians reside. That is not civilized. It is not justice.

The Late Justice Scalia was frequently quoted within the political realm of the Republican Party. It is not okay to look the other way to the USA Constitution and Due Process or Freedom of Speech because it is inconvenient for the politics of the day. It is not okay to use the decision of Justices, like the Late Justice Scalia, as a basis of understanding of a political direction only to discard it when it is inconvenient. 

Tufts University has a right to conduct hearings regarding student behavior. Boston and Massachusetts have their own sovereign rights to prosecute people within their jurisdiction. The USA State Department does not have the right to ride roughshod over their rights and the rights of an individual for the benefit of hatred and bigotry. 

If Tufts, Boston, or Massachusetts needed the help of covertly attired immigration officers to remove a scholar from its real estate I am confident it would have been after due process. This is an appalling act by the USA State Department, completely uncalled for, and a violation and threat of the civilization of the people of this country.

The Supreme Court today ordered Due Process is required.

The ruling with the Venezuelans clearly states Due Process is a requirement. Whoever is wreaking havoc with people’s lives needs to stop or be sued or charged.

Venezuelans’ tattoos

They don’t mean a darn thing. For all we know having a tattoo protected the person from the gangs that roamed the streets.

In the USA it was easier to be a member of a violent gang, just wear a white hood.

Judge Boasberg was correct to protect people.

Donald John Trump was radically wrong in ordering blanket removal of people under special status in the borders of the United States of America.

Donald Trump broke the law when he rounded up Venezuelans with protected status. They were not criminals because of a tattoo. They obeyed the laws of this country, held down responsible jobs, and raised families. 

There were issues such as jurisdiction but that did not give Trump to disrupt people’s lives and railroad over top of the United States Constitution and the Ruie of Law. 

I think the decision by the Supreme Court was good and I appreciate the deserting view of four of the judges. There are atrocities being committed by Trump and how does the court system deal with a power broker pretending to be president? The Congress is the most responsible for casting citizens into danger and judges into difficult decisions.

It is the Congress most responsible for negligence in allowing a power broker in the White House to disregard the law and human dignity.

I thank the Supreme Court for illuminating the correct path of the Venezuelans as well as the Executive Branch of this government.

The Supreme Court made a difficult decision the other day with six states sui mg the federal government under the law for providing the correct decision. Trump did not win that decision, the trial has yet to be argued. The six states have a right to the federal monies provided to them through legislature and law. They will prove their case. The problem the Supreme Court faced was recognizing the law providing solid ground to the states which also did not allow for an injunction. The states argued hardship and the lower courts allowed it. But, in the filings with the Supreme Court the states were to provide their status in being able to manage without an injunction. All six said they could do five of the justices removed the injunction, but. never resolved the case.

As Americans we know the Trump Administration is hostile toward the Constitution and the Rule of Law. That is a known fact. But, in recognizing that reality it is important the law stand as it is written. It is even more important it is enforced as intended. There is no good law or bad law. There is the Rule of Law. As long as the courts are working long and hard to protect Americans of any status in citizenship and their rights to pay and benefits we are doing the level best we can. The courts are acting within the USA Constitution. That is of primary importance.

The people have an argument with Congress. Ultimately Congress has to correct it’s negligence and it can start by bailing out every 401K.

The ruining of the markets is part of the game plan.

It isn’t easy, you know, laying the groundwork for the second coming of Christ. Ideologies are disgruntled over the lack of interest by God to bring on the apocalypse and return the glory of God to Eden. Flaws have to go.

What I don’t understand is how do you revive Eden while “Drill, babe, drill,” is increasing greenhouse gases?

Have ya seen the tornadoes? Nearly two weeks straight of tornadoes scouring our country. The velocity and power of these storms get worse as each day passes.

It snowed in Texas and it is a return of an unstable polar vortex. Michigan is in a two week cycle of warming into Spring followed by snow and ice storms. The ice storms have created such dangerous conditions utility crews are called off their work for fear of their lives.

The Republican Congress…

…is allowing Trump to hand over our national security satellites to private space companies. Blue Origin, United Launch Services, and Space X control our national security satellites. This is the same Space X that cut off satellites and communications to Ukraine, a sovereign power fighting a war to protect its very existence.

And can Erik Prince be far behind. There is currently a military officer who lived in the USA for four years being deported (click here). He is a citizen of this country along with many others who came to the aid of the USA military over the decades. Not that Trump cares, but, the USA is quickly losing its credibility.

When the Harvard student was picked up the agents wore masks. She was rightfully frightened of them. Who were they? A private company acting for ICE? She has yet to be afforded due process.

Trump’s bigotry is deporting USA citizens. Legally, I believe they are people without a country. They belong here.

WTO can mitigate Trump’s viciousness.

The USA has been successful before the WTO, but, primarily with anti-dumping, nothing else.

Nothing can stop Trump from demanding and demanding, but, once the WTO makes its decision no country will be required to pay the tariffs. Trump would have to prove good cause. That would be impossible because this is about greed.

Trump is not a good president

He has gone and done it, now. Every advisor that could have warned him about rash decisions about tariffs was sent packing by DoGE. So, the people left are the Right Wing Religious Extremist with no concept of the real world and how it works.

This is what power and greed brings.

And Musk and Hegseth are planning a war with China. (Click here) See, that is the problem within this administration. They are all very committed to Trump’s ideological vision and Trump will never replace them. This administration is a huge problem. They are completely out of touch with reality and how the world works due to their own ideology. 

I don’t want to hear how that’s only in case of an attack. With Trump in office if he feels it is time to teach someone, some country, etc. a lesson about respect of him, he’ll do it. There is no predicting what he will do next. 

Helplessness. 

The companies in China to lower costs of transporting these elements to the factories are not going to leave China as is Trump’s grand plan. 

That will never occur. See, the carbon footprint in transporting goods is a cost both environmental and fiscal for these manufacturers. To transport these elements over thousands of years of miles of ocean is about as stupid as it comes. 

These containers do become lost at sea from time to time. Loading precious commodities into containers for transport is very risky from a national security perspective. If a container full of precious metals or jewels was loaded onto ANY TYPE of transport it would be a security issue.

The factories in China used by American companies exist there for multiple reasons and not necessarily just cheap labor. So, while the plutocrats want their own perfect world within the borders of the USA, it is a lame idea.

These are not radical judges. They appreciate the testimony before them that clearly states it is impossible to have an effective intelligence agency without diversity.

After September 11, 2001 it was impossible to respond to terrorist networks without personnel within Homeland Security, including the FBI and CIA that weren’t fluent in Arab languages. If Trump thinks he is going to ethnic cleanse the entire USA government by eliminating every DEI crumb he is sadly mistaken and in doing so compromises USA national security.

These sneakers were ordered long before the tariffs went into effect and before ANYONE was given notice of these decisions by the USA Trade Representative. 

I am serious about the order. My Nikes are in limbo right now. These sneakers are not cheap. They are also irreplaceable in the quality and design.

Companies have to digest this and possibly change their plans for manufacturing. The enormous tariffs placed on Vietnam will deter consumers from purchasing Nike footwear. Absolutely, without a doubt. 

Ultimately, it will cost Nike profits to relocate their manufacturing to the USA. And, ultimately, what happens to Vietnam? 

These are long standing investments. The Trump tariffs are unworkable.

Turkey has been traumatized for more than a year now, since the earthquakes. I am not a big fan of President Erdogan, but he stood up for the truth about the Late Jamal Khashquki. That matters. He doesn’t hate journalists, but, Turkey being Turkey he sometimes appears to need better control. 

Right now, considering all that is going on in the region PERHAPS consider carrying his message if it is a benevolent message. 

Turkey is NATO. Please think these things through. Russia is most likely sending soldiers into the Middle East. We need journalists witnessing and writing. It is important all of you are safe. Write. Just write and record. Publishing will come in time.

Wall Street

It is so much more than “just money.” 

Every one of those three or four letter iconic symbols is a company. Companies, like Krispy Kreme (click here). Ticket symbol DNUT. I remember the excitement in the south when it first announced it would soon have an IPO. The shares started at $17 each. The average everyday citizen could afford that. They bought plenty of them, waited for the stocks to split and sold those shares. Each original investor made a small fortune to bank. 

The reason successful companies seek out an IPO is to accumulate some wealth from investors to continue to grow and improve their reach and perfect their products. It is like a big bank loan with lots of people interested. Stockholders. 

Wall Street is not just about day traders, big investment banks, hedge funds, and wildly successful profiteers. It is about companies. People that work for those companies. Unlike investment banks and stock brokerages, those companies can’t pull up stakes and move to a more stable country.

Now is the time for Congress to prepare for bailouts. Those bailouts will exceed that of the crash of 2007-8. The investors are slowly removing their monies to give companies a chance to find ways to survive burgeoning bankruptcies. Those bankruptcies will happen and in order for the USA to continue to have an economy all the companies Trump is pretending to protect will need Government GRANTS to set them back on their feet. That was GRANTS, not loan guarantees.

So, while Republicans love Musk and DoGE, all those cost saving measures will fail because companies like Krispy Kreme, General Motors, United Healthcare, and Ford Motor will escalate the cost of government to save the economy.

So.

What was the purpose of this again?

Oh. 

Liberation Day. It will have to wait. There will be no $5000 bonus checks. Increasing taxes? On failing companies devalued? That won’t happen. Taxes on the Middle Class? While on unemployment? That won’t happen.

So.

What was this dreamscape all about in Project 2025 anyway?
