 ...and paramilitary gear from head to toe. It appears to be the same man from Michigan. Yet, Majority Leader McConnell is not bothered by it enough to call a special session of the Senate.

Lawlessness has ruled for four years and it is believed to be a worthy cause. Anymore tolerating lawlessness will end. Does McConnell understand that or consent to it?

No one should live in denial. What occurred on January 6, 2021 was practice. They intended to succeed in their idea of importance, but, thwarting it only means they learned from it. The hate for our democracy is real. The resolve to end lawlessness needs to be real, too.

The officer that shot Ms. Babbit was correct in doing so. She was not a protester. The rioters outside the door saw the officers with guns drawn. They verbalized that they saw guns drawn. Ms Babbit knew the consequences of her actions. It begs the question as to the purpose of her actions, she was a trained soldier.

The officer’s actions explains the level of competency behind the protections on the inside of the room. He shot according to his training. He was outnumbered and did the right thing. Considering her training the officer was only going to get one shot. I think that is what she was counting on and took the risk. The officer saved lives. I am confident of that.

Impeachment is correct.

If Mitch McConnell is incapable of carrying a swift trial followed by removal from office of Donald John Trump, he leaves doubt in his allegiance to his office, his oath, and the well being of the people of this country.

Donald John Trump is owed no compassion or remnant loyalty. He is a traitor. He left his own Vice President’s fate to the insurrection. There is nothing that can defend him.

He turned his back on a joint session of Congress where ALL senators and ALL House Members were left to rioters determined to harm them. The members of Congress were saved by the law enforcement persons who knew what to do. Some must have been Secret Service assigned to the Vice President.

Trump did nothing except wait for the insurrection to be successful. Trump has left no alternative to Congress but to remove him if the Cabinet won’t act. This is not politics!

Twitter has done the right thing.

The insurrection was real. They were going to take our legislature hostage or worse. The Capital Police lost an officer of pure exhaustion. He is hero.

The woman that died of her wounds deserves no military honors. She was a traitor.

Remove Trump

Mike Pence has proven himself a reliable patriot to hold power in the presidency until Joe Biden is sworn into office. 

There is no question to the sedition by Trump. This is a matter as to whom’s authority is best for the country right now. Pence is the better choice.

Make the decision. If the Cabinet won’t act due to cowardice, then the US House should proceed now. The Cabinet should have acted as the riot was occurring.

I hear that Pence was the one to order the Secretary of the Navy to send the National Guard. There is no question Vice President Pence never really signed on to Trump’s plans. He was the one true American Trump had no power to replace. It could be him that saved lives. He obviously did not know of the dynamic between Trump and the QANON mob as he carried out the proceedings of the Electoral College.

Pence was not valued by his own president to end the violence and save lives. Trump is not trustworthy at any level.

There is some talk about rioter with the horned...

 ...horned hat could be pagan ritual dress. He may have used the hat as a weapon at some point.

What difference does it make, he is an enemy of the state?

When Trump’s Secretary of Defense...

 ...refused to authorize the deployment through his silence of the Maryland National Guard, who reached the Secretary of the Navy?

Wasn’t the Secretary of the Navy position supposed to be filled as a favor to Paul Manafort at one point?

Oh, so there was a bomb outside the RNC headquarters. How about that reality and Trump thinks he is “the chosen one” at QANON.

Trump is not in power when it comes to the insurrection. The QANON Conspiracy is a faux front for White Supremacists/Nationalists. You know the guys. The ones that have done their time in prison but still are a part of “the faith.”

QANON has no real role in this except as a “faux belief system” that attracts followers. QANON isn’t even a cult. When experts talk about QANON it is about its popular movement and messages on social media and how its ambiguous meaning needs a “divining rod” to understand the meaning.

QANON is a place where like minds meet and nothing more. Any communication from Q can be divined to mean whatever an organizer wants it to mean.

QANON is a signal flair. Nothing more.

Trump is the puppet of those in power be it Russia or Q. He has no other purpose. He does what’s expected of him. His ego would believe differently, I am sure.

Yes, I believe Russia is involved and is probably attempting to recruit Americans as I write this. Why let a failed insurrection go to waste?

Where We Go One We Go All

Does it sound remarkably like the “Brotherhood and Sisterhood” of the USA military? 

QANON is about militarizing citizens to carry out a revolt against the USA government. It is even attracting former USA soldiers. The plan is huge. How convenient it is to have a fellow soldier looking at the National Guard during an uprising. It may even cause them to turn their guns on their commanders.

QANON is a sick plot against the greatest country this world has ever known. Silence the signal flair as a tool used by Russia to pollute the minds of Americans. Silence it now.

 Donald John Trump needs to be removed from office. He incited the riots the lead to looting and vandalism. They turned into rioters without much coaching. 

Rep. Elise Stefancik is incorrect.

The complaints in the US House and US Senste are not balanced with reality. They are all ideological arguments.

No election is perfect. Americans make mistakes and not all complaints matter. There maybe some valid concerns with “the vote” however those valid concerns serve no impact to the unmarred vote.

We have a presidential election by majority. It is the majority that matters and if a small number of mistakes are real, that isn’t going to matter because it has no effect on the outcome.

So while some people want to knit pick, no matter how loud they cry about a few votes it isn’t going matter. They can seek to improve the election in the future, but, there will be new mistakes because the rule changed. These issues are superfluous to reality.

The complaint about Pennsylvania and a law being unconstitutional is an invalid complaint, the judges ruling that it is too late to complain is correct. An entire state’s vote cannot be thrown out after the fact. Campaigns, especially those of major parties, MUST do their research about balloting BEFORE the voting by citizens begins. There has been many elections won and lost because candidates or campaign organizations never bothered to read and approve the ballot. There are deadlines to when changes to a ballot can be carried out because the ballot must be finalized for voting.

Senator Pat Toomey is basically saying the same thing in defense of the Pennsylvania vote.

At one time, I think it was Pennington, New Jersey, horse either ridden or pulling a carriage had more rights than autos. Anyone can understand that as there was once a time when autos were an oddity and trucks didn’t exist. That law stayed on the books for decades until it was brought to the attention of the town. Then signs went up to tell motorists that horses maybe found along the road that lead to a favorite nearby park.

Laws can be completely obsolete and yet they are still law. Their obsolescence is what negates their effectiveness. Laws, in the hearts and minds of people can be nostalgic as well and allowed to lay fallow. Many, but not most, American are unaware of this dynamic. 

Unfortunately, it is my concern that the conman named Donald John Trump preyed on the naiveté of people, hence, the violence today. Trump actually expected it to work and the American democracy would lie in chaos allowing him to come forward as king.

Donald John Trump is not a bright man. Law Enforcement is loyal to the country of laws, not a country ruled by one man. A police officer spends his/her day at work enforcing the rule of law. They write tickets and summons based on the rule of law. Trump could never move this country away from the people.

I never guessed he would try such a folly as this and neither did anyone else. Protesters turned into rioters by words of Donald John Trump when he turned them toward the Capital building. 

At one time Trump stated to the Proud Boys to stand by and stand down. Odd thing for a president to say, unless the Command and Chief planned his assault on our democracy today. The evidence is circumstantial because no one is a mind reader.

Peace to all Americans. One of us is dead because of the folly by a man that hates. We should never forget that.

Misguided

As I listen to Trump Supporters speaking to journalists on FOX News they sadly believe they were doing the right thing for the right reasons. They appear to have an alternate reality.

They are not bad people. Not that bad people doing bad things were absent from the scene in Washington, DC, they were very much there. But, as a country that embraces freedom we need to understand these Trumpy Americans and their derailment from the truth.

They are good people that are very misinformed. Very, very misinformed. They need outreach to bring them back home. I am very serious. They need outreach into the community to bring them back to reality. We can’t or should abandon them.

As a country we have an obligation to bring reality to all citizens. They vote. The misinformation is the enemy, not the people. We need to take this on and it needs to be an outreach no less determined than any government outreach into Appalachia. They deserve that. They need to understand what brought them to the precipice of destroying their own constitution.

Law Enforcement needs eye protection

It appears at least one rioter has a laser gun site. He/she was firing toward the lawn area from a hall entrance on the second level of the Capital building.

The side of the Capital building where rioters have congregated looks stable. Those that have dedicated there lives to occupy the Capital building seems to be stable. Those that were going to leave, have and what is left are dedicated rioters.

Those are the police with strobe lights. Good.

I think law enforcement has used great restraint in opposing this insurrection by Trump.

It will be a long night in Washington, DC.

The woman that was shot has died.

Arrests

At some point there needs to be arrests of the rioters to discourage others.

No matter how much support Trump has endorsed these people; he has abandoned them in the name of peace.

President Joe Biden has the US House and US Senate

Jon Ossoff is now Senator Elect Jon Ossoff. Congratulations to him and his dedicated campaign.

Congratulations to him, his family. and all those that supported his campaign including donors.

Trump belongs no where near the President-Elect at any point in time.

Trump doesn’t care if people die.

In order to remove rioters from the Capital building and grounds, those furthest from the building will have to be moved first.

Never in anyone’s imagination did Americans believe this would happen. No one expected violence. This is a new low for Trump.

Tear gas.

Trump knew this was coming, ie: the blast wall fence at the White House.

 Criminals protecting a criminal.

Sedition

Everyone assaulting the Capital building along with Don, Jr. and Eric Trump are committing an act of sedition. This cannot be ignored.

No one is going to give in to criminal intent, especially, against the USA Constitution. The president should demand protesters to stand down or he can be charged with conspiracy.

This is all criminal activity.

The National Guard in the USA capital should also have plans to protect the USA Congress at this point.

I am not surprised these attacks against our government. They criminals have been taunted for months to act on their beliefs which were drummed up by Trump. I am surprised it has taken this long. Senators such as Rand Paul need to stop inciting violence and accept the elections of 2020 without question.

It is easy to say that if such a coup actually worked the instigators, including the president would not be in control. They think they are in control, but, they are figure heads and would be removed at first opportunity to instill others such  as the leader of the KKK. Fools are every one of them. This is what happens when a political party embraces hate. While they only want to be elected, those marginalized voters have plans of their own. Zero

Congratulations to Senate-Elect Warnock. We are losing Former US Senator Harris to the Executive Branch and now we have a new minority member to the US Senate. Senator Schumer must be elated at the election of Raphael Warnock to his distinguished Senate Democrats.

This is wonderful. But, I never worried one day he would be the one to win. He had the support of many people. He is also loved by the people of Georgia. 

Congratulations to him, his family, his vast number of supporters, and generous donors. It is a special day today. 

I never thought for one minute the recording...

 ...and the transcript of the conversation between the Georgia Secretary of State and Donald John Trump was released in retribution by the Secretary. Secretary Raffensperger has acted honorably through the entire ballot count, recount and proposed change of the narrative regarding the 2020 presidential election.

My first thought was that the tape was released by Trump himself to promote the reversal of the election. After all the US Senators willing to game the system to defeat the American democracy needs to know the path forward.

Never once did I think it was Secretary Raffensperger.

The only way Trump wins...

...is on a narrative derived from a false premise and not the numbers. 

It is fraud.

What is worrisome is the entire idea Trump Media carries fraudulent messages that undermine the USA Constitution. Trump made it very clear that living with reality and real numbers is the work of a child. Real men make-up their best scenario and run with knowing that the power will over rule the truth.

It is all gaslighting.

There is something else to consider, for those that are said to be dead but voted, when did they die, after they voted? It could be a dying wish to have voted. A lot of people died together by the thousands of COVID-19. I think discounting the dead without knowing if the voting occurred before the death is valid and important.

Trump doesn’t even believe the police, the GBI or the FBI.

Trump has put Georgia thru hell. What he said for nearly an hour, was that the Georgia’s Secretary of State could fabricate any story in “Trump media” to throw the election to him and get away with it.

Who is going to charge Giuliani with fraud for manufacturing a false video in an attempt to change election results?
