Very sorry to hear of the passing of US Representative Elijah Cummings.

It appeared to me his health was failing over the past few months. He never spoke of it. He will be missed.

Sympathies to all those that loved him.

Impressive. There are billions and billions of savings to help with the national debt, where is the US Senate in passing this by?

Speaker Pelosi also needs to look into a profound problem in Syria and Turkey in that there are American military personnel left alone to find a safe route home. If she could please bring her powers to bear, the military personnel can be brought home after razing their military outpost to prevent Russia from benefiting from the withdrawal. They need someone in Washington, DC to help.

Why is there ever shortagss of VITAL medications? Why? The 11 year patent expire? No PROFIT in it? THE USA IS STRUCTURED WRONG!

Let's see when "the hospital" was replaced by "the healthcare network" it was said to eliminate waste and reduce spending in order to lower health care costs. Now, the healthcare system in the USA is run by CEOs rather than MDs. The CEOs ration the services of the medical profession, dictate the hospital stay of patients and profit the entire time.

WHAT CEO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MESS?

The American people don't receive services from the health care industry, they receive grief and nail biting. The fact is major infrastructure change has to take place in the USA, the infrastructure is at a breaking point due to profit taking and this is a prime example. Who is profiting from shortchanging American children fighting for their lives?

A critical drug that serves (click here) as the backbone of treatment for most childhood cancers, including leukemias, lymphomas and brain tumors, has become increasingly scarce, and doctors are warning that they may soon be forced to consider rationing doses.

Persistent shortages of certain drugs and medical supplies have plagued the United States for years, but physicians say the loss of this medication, vincristine, is uniquely problematic, as there is no appropriate substitute.

“This is truly a nightmare situation,” said Dr. Yoram Unguru, a pediatric oncologist at the Herman and Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore. “Vincristine is our water. It’s our bread and butter. I can’t think of a disease in childhood cancer that doesn’t use vincristine.”

Shortages of the chemotherapy drug, which is on back order, will likely affect children throughout the country, he said, obligating physicians to make difficult decisions....

And what does Moscow Mitch and FOX News say about American labor? They ain't worth it.

This is the backdrop of the "Impoverishment Society."

July 18, 2019

Research shows (click here) that hiking the minimum wage to $15 would kill jobs and depress the economy at a time when it’s thriving for the American people. We are not going to be taking that up in the Senate.

Translation: Be afraid, be very afraid of losing your jobs under Democrats.

The society of impoverishment.

As the Democratic presidential (click here) candidates gather in Westerville, Ohio for the fourth primary debate on Tuesday, they would do well to acknowledge the growing public concern about the “
future of work.” As a Midwestern swing state that has an intimate history with displacement and its consequences, Ohio is a fitting place for candidates to offer more robust solutions to issues such as automation and artificial intelligence, which will likely have disproportionate impacts on certain American communities and populations, including places like Westerville....

Brookings has an interesting article today about life preparedness and reaching income equality for all people. Brookings has yet to openly tear apart the "trickle down" economic THEORY that has created this huge wealth inequality and a stagnant social dynamic that enforces impoverishment.

Trickle Down has not worked because it is ONLY  a theory that when applied and evaluated is PROVED to provide wealth to the wealthy.

Brookings is correct in that education alone will not solve the problem. Education in a sophisticated society is a necessity and to that end, it should be free to all those seeking "The American Dream," however, the USA has a demoralized society due to a huge income and wealth inequality gap.

That brings me to the understanding of "sadness" at work in the USA that brings about a "failure to thrive" in the American people. The society of the USA will go on forever in this cloud of "damn it nothing the government does works," if happiness is not returned as a top priority of any government structure.

There are no handouts that can change the fact the American people give up because happiness is artificial, in-the-moment and unsustainable. The American Dream has been trickled down so much the only hope according to Wall Street is "Credit Sesame" and a vigilant credit prowess. Does the USA ever stop to realize "security" is the best way forward? The private sector is wreaking havoc on a sustainable economy which equates to a sustainable society and a secure future.

Ohio is where there is a large workforce. The people of Ohio know what work is and the ability to find it, what they don't know is how much work does it take to be happy and when does it happen to them? Ohio's minimum wage is $8.55 per hour. In a 40 hour week that is $342 a week.

Every Ohioan (click here) who works full-time should be able to support themselves and their family without worrying about being able to afford the basics. Last year, six of Ohio’s 10 most common jobs paid so little that a typical full-time worker would earn less than $26,000 and need food assistance to feed a family of three – leaving many of the state’s working people in largely the same position as they were in 2017, although some occupations and regions saw some modest improvements. Many of the most common jobs pay less than they did in 2000, when wages did more to lift working people out of poverty. In 2000, only four of the most common Ohio occupations would put a typical worker in this situation...

One of the reasons Elizabeth Warren is catching fire and getting the attention of many Americans is because she hasn't given up. She recognizes the struggle and KNOWS the struggle in the year 2020 is far, far too hard and for the most part unattainable. That is why Trump. He promised and promised but they were lies and what Americans were handed instead was again Trickle Down and Get Used to the Poverty and Make the Best of It. I haven't seen that title on the bookshelves either.

The social fabric of happiness has eroded in the USA. Happiness is unattainable and the upward movement is initially a disappointment and an assignment that "there is something wrong with the work ethic" in order to achieve happiness and the American Dream. THERE AIN'T WRONG WITH THE WORK ETHIC of the USA, IT IS JUST UNREWARDED!!!

Dr. Jill Biden needs to speak to the problem with failure in the Community College System which is seeing high "failure to complete" rates. Considering this is the primary pathway to many USA jobs, the completion rate should be the most important focus of the USA's job rehabilitation economy.

I don't want to be unfair to Dr. Biden after all her HARD work for eight years has been whittled away at for the past three, as has the integrity of good pay. What good is completing a two year degree if all that is at the end of the rainbow is $8.55 per hour?

...According to the Hechinger Report, (click here) fewer than one out of five students at community colleges obtain their desired degree in three years or less. A recent study published by the American Institutes for Research (AIR) paints a similarly grim picture by indicating that high college dropout rates cost both state and federal governments billions of dollars each year. However, do these numbers really paint an accurate picture of what is happening in community colleges and four-year institutions across the country?...

In the 2020 race for president, the answers for many Americans will be when do I feel secure in knowing my HARD work will result in sustainable happiness and wellness without fear of violence? THAT IS NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK FROM THEIR GOVERNMENT? ACTUALLY. IT IS FUNDAMENTAL GOVERNMENT 101.

Here is a campaign slogan for someone who may want it:

"Work in America Doesn't Pay Shit."

Every candidate had a strong debate. CNN did a great job.

She doesn't need my congratulations, but, Elizabeth Warren is like the cream that rises to the top of the bottle. She has worked very hard for the American people, including Massachusetts for over a decade now at the federal level. She is ready and willing. She succeeds where others have tried to mimic her style in the past. I think Elizabeth is a unique candidate. She is not from the same cookie-cutter as past nominees have been.

Bernie Sanders looked very strong tonight. At one point I was thinking to take it easy, Bernie, but he was himself and pulling for all Americans and their health care.

I am a bit disappointed Kamala Harris' poll numbers aren't better. She stated during the week in an interview that Russia is heavily targeting her campaign. I hope the FBI is involved. I am also not surprised. Kamala Harris believes deeply in the rule of law and Putin doesn't want that.

Joe Biden looked good. He is a strong candidate and I believe Hunter needed to come out and take an interview clearing up any idea that he would be seeking work at the White House if his father was elected. I think he needed to make that stipulation to prove the difference between Trump and Joe Biden, his father. Besides being against the law that no one will enforce with the Trump kids, Trump's complaint about Hunter is laughable. It is like throwing stones when you live in a glasshouse. Trump has absolutely no reason to be picking a fight over Hunter Biden's employment, his children are deeply involved in Trump's politics and his administration. So, the entire idea Trump has a right to complain about ANYONE else and the relationship they have with their children is ridiculous.

Cory Booker is still a rock-solid Congressman with a lot of good insight and answers. I always like to hear from him.

Tulsi Gabbard needs to write a book to explain her world view of the USA military. Seriously. It is difficult to follow any comprehensive picture she paints.

Amy Klobuchar is a strong midwestern candidate. She lacks insight into what liberals and progressives bring to the table. Instead, she is trying to convince Democrats she can win where no one else can. Fine. I am sure she feels that way, but, where is the proof that as the nominee she can carry all the states needed, including the midwest. She is more right of center than I like.

Beto O'Rouke had a strong showing tonight, especially on the gun issue. He definitely began to look at gun ownership differently after the attacks in El Paso. I think he right. Those weapons are sitting in the country and ultimately they could be used for heinous outcomes. I think that has to be taken seriously.

I remember owning a couple of hunting rifles, but, when my sons were born and as they became toddlers and older I was very nervous about the guns. I had read about the nightmare scenarios of so many other children in accidents that killed them. Eventually, before the oldest was four we got rid of them. Some people are uneasy about the guns in their house and sometimes just don't know what to do. Our guns went to a gun store. Basically, he took them off our hands because we didn't want the responsibility of selling them privately. I think a gun buyback program would result in a surprisingly large number of gun owners basically getting rid of them. He is brave to bring all that up and make it an agenda. If I can akin it to anything it would be the Cash for Clunkers' idea of President Obama.

Andrew Yang clearly has a world view for the future different than any other. It has merit. Automation has definitely changed the face of employment in the USA and not necessarily for the better. I don't have a fully automated home and that is okay with me. I am not a gadget person unless it relates to science and accuracy, then you can peak my interest. But, there are Americans being left behind. I like his experiments. I think he likes to make his insight clear to people and that is saying something. He cares and he wants everyone to know he cares.

Pete Buttigieg was his usual self. I think he a good candidate with a lot of great ideas. I get stuck when he favors a year of mandatory service to the country. We have a volunteer military. He knows that. He was part of that volunteer military. It has been the USA military better than ever. I just think it is a paradigm shift that will be a disservice to the country. If he thinks young Americans need direction and discipline, then say that. There are other ways of reaching young people than mandatory to the country. That is a little to threatening to me. It means the military takes on a status that rises to more or less a draft. Every year young Americans are going to be assigned a place to serve for a year. It is too convenient to launch into war with a fresh batch of recruits every year. When reviewing what Trump is doing, to have mandatory service of our young people would be a disaster. Chow line would be donations from all the fast-food restaurants in the country. It isn't' a good idea.

Julian Castro is another Texan with very clear ideas. He is highly moral. He certainly doesn't look to be 45 years old either. He is pulling some criticism from Politifact about the job losses in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan. It nearly doesn't matter, they were a clear illustration he was concerned for the people and points clearly to the failures of the Trump administration.

And last but hardly the least of the contenders is Tom Steyer. It was a good first appearance. His reputation precedes him and he reminded everyone of this dedication to the country and it's people. He has always supported noble causes that are primarily Democratic causes, but, it is pandering. Tom Steyer is a dyed in the wool American. It is a characteristic rarely seen in business people. His roll in the past has been more passive, but, times are different in the 2020 elections. He is worried about and for the country and it is not a profit motive.

We have a great slate of magnificent candidates and I hope the people choose wisely.

Turkey is a NATO country that may have violated the treaty.

Nothing Trump did in the Middle East regarding Syria was discussed with the NATO Secretary General. There is a lot wrong with what occurred with Turkey. I think NATO has a vital role in this to decide what is the best path forward considering the USA and Turkey acted to weaken democracy and national security.

This is a crisis in many ways, but, it definitely is a crisis for NATO and it's surprising paradigm change when it comes to the Middle East. Both, Turkey and the USA have acted outside the treaty organization, however, the consequences clearly effects them all.

If Turkey is to continue with NATO, then the organization has to decide the frame in which this has taken place and restructure it's response. This is not simply actions that can be overlooked. The idea NATO's security never entered into the mind of the President and he alone allowed the actions of Turkey that has compromised a long held stability in the region raises serious questions for NATO.

Esper can point a finger at NATO, but, he really needs to look to the disaster Trump and Esper has caused here. He is the acting Defense Secretary, where was he when Trump called for troop withdrawal? Was there a call for troop withdrawal at all? The troops were caught in munitions fire from Turkey. There are many questions without sufficient answers, the least of them from Esper and his role in this.

I want to know if Guiliani was consulted by Trump. Where was the White House lawyers quoting treaties and giving pause to this still yet another relinquishment by Trump to Putin.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper (click here) will travel to Brussels next week to demand NATO members implement “collective and individual diplomatic and economic measures” on Turkey as punishment for its incursion into Syria, he said today in a statement, setting in motion a process that could lead to historic penalties against a NATO ally.

It’s not clear what exactly those penalties might be, but a number of NATO states have already halted weapons sales and military aid to Ankara, as Congress readies its own punishing round of sanctions on the Turkish military that would effectively cut it off from the West.

The Trump administration today imposed a slew of economic sanctions on Turkey raising steel tariffs by 50 percent and halting negotiations over a $100 billion trade deal with the country. The Treasury Department also levied sanctions on Turkey’s ministries of defense and energy, as well as three senior Turkish officials.

Overseas, the European Union and some NATO countries have already started to move. EU foreign ministers today unanimously condemned Turkey’s bloody incursion, which has already seen its proxy forces film a roadside execution of a Syrian politician, as well as those of a number of Kurdish fighters. The Turkish actions “seriously undermines the stability and the security of the whole region,” the ministers said, but they stopped short of issuing a EU-wide arms embargo against Ankara....

There is a report in "Haaretz" that Russia intends to enter the conflicts (click here) currently unfolding in Syria to end them.

October 15, 2019

The U.S. said its forces had left the key northern Syrian city of Manbij on Tuesday as regime troops moved in, while Russia said it will not allow Turkish and Syrian government forces to clash on the seventh day of Ankara's incursion that aims to drive Kurdish militias away from a border area....

Turkey may be finding a serious wake up call with it's aggression into Syria. The Kurds have been absorbed by Assad.

October 15, 2019

A Turkish soldier was killed on Oct. 15 by the YPG, (click here) the Syrian arm of the outlawed PKK, in Manbij region, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"Following artillery fire by the terrorists from the Manbij region, one of our heroic comrades was martyred and eight were injured," the ministry said in a statement on Oct. 15.

“Targets in the firing zone were identified and immediately responded and at least 15 terrorists were neutralized,” according the statement....

The YPG is not exclusively ethnic Kurds. There are Arabs and foreign volunteers enlisted. They are part of the Syrian military and have been operating in Northern Syria since their inception in 2004. They claim they are a democratic group and not in step with Assad's ruling party. They took hold and grew during the Syria Civil War.

The Joint Chiefs need to be feeling a real tightness in their collars because Russia is attempting to choke off any crude oil from Saudi Arabia.

I told you so. Putin hasn't been in Saudi Arabia for ten years.

Dubai: Russian President Vladimir Putin (click here) has landed in Saudi Arabia in a landmark regional tour which will also take him to the UAE.

Before he departed Moscow, the Russian president gave an interview with Arab media where he lauded ties with both Gulf countries.

The Russian leader has offered to mediate between Saudi Arabia and Iran amid sky-rocketing tensions over the past few months.

Putin condemned an attack on Saudi Arabia’s Aramco facilities last month and said that it would help Riyadh investigate who the culprits of the attack were.

While Saudi Arabia has blamed Iran, Russia has been reluctant to place blame....

Iran is reporting a missile attack (click here) on one of it's oil tankers. It is at the waterline, no different than the USS Cole. This is probably Daesh now that Trump re-entered them into the Middle East violence. Iran is not going to capitulate power to Putin, especially if there are oil tankers being attacked. Putin didn't stop this one, why would it stop any other.

It appears on the surface Putin is competing for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Assad decided living USA trained Kurdish fighters is a far better idea than killing them.

October 14, 2019

Syria’s troops (click here) have entered northeastern towns and villages, Syrian state media said on Monday, after Washington announced it was abruptly pulling out its forces, and its former Kurdish allies reached a deal with Damascus to help resist a Turkish attack.

Turkey-backed Syrian fighters say they have begun an offensive alongside Turkish troops to capture the Kurdish-held town of Manbij.

Mustafa Seijari, an official with the Turkey-backed fighters, tweeted: "The battle of Manbij has begun."

Turkey's private NTV television reported that Turkish special forces and commandos began advancing toward Manbij on Monday afternoon. CNN-Turk also mentioned the attack, reporting that the sound of clashes could be heard....

This is often how the USA military identifies itself in the post Cold War. "The power among the people." Not a bad place to be.

Let me be clear. I don't approve of war and in the year 2019, most major wars have been fought.

That said, Donald Trump put our troops in the line of fire with Turkey. No warning. No notification. No orders to evacuate. The troops were left to discover the danger and make decisions based in self-defense. That is not the way to run a USA military. If there was to be a TRANSFER of power with Turkey as peacekeepers in the region, it happens in orderly and measured methods.

This was a decision by Putin to remove the USA from the region and it happened as if it came from Moscow.

Syrian Kurds gather around a U.S. armored vehicle during a demonstration against Turkish threats next to a U.S.-led international coalition base on the outskirts of Ras al-Ain town in Syria's Hasakeh province near the Turkish border on Oct. 6, 2019.

American troops (click here) and former U.S. officials believe a Turkish artillery strike on Friday that landed about 300 meters from a U.S. commando outpost near the Syrian city of Kobani was done deliberately.

No U.S. troops were injured in the strike, but U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces said American commandos temporarily withdrew from their observation post on Mishtanur hill near Kobani and returned on Saturday.

A senior U.S. military official told Military Times on Friday that the incident was not an attack by Turkish forces, but some U.S. troops, former senior U.S. officials and artillery veterans say that the attack appears to be intentional.

CNN’s Barbara Starr reported, citing a U.S. official, that the U.S. has not come to a final determination on whether the Turkish artillery strike was deliberate....

The post Cold War USA military is very different, but, while tragic at times is mostly successful. Until Trump.

The post WWII USA military can be first examed in the conflict at Bosnia-Herzogovina war. "The Peace" in the years after 1990 is very differently defined and most Americans couldn't even find Bosnia on a map. These major paradigm shifts are not in history books, but, they should be as a way of understanding the role of the USA in the world.

Americans might reject this idea. But, at least they can understand the USA military and it's mission to find "A Peace" among the many threats.

Preface

The incredibly complex drama of war and edgy peace that unfolded inBosnia (click here), or Bosnia-Herzegovina, during the 1990s gave birth to a fascinating and instructive series of military operations that constitute the subject of this study. The nature of circumstances and missions in Bosnia poses a variety of challenges to the historian. First, given their recent occurrence, it is remarkably difficult to frame these events in historical perspective. This is in part because many outcomes and consequences reside somewhere in the future. The SFOR mission itself only came to a close late in 2004 as this work was going to press. Equally significant is the fact that vast quantities of relevant documents remain classified. As a result, the chapters that follow necessarily form a preliminary attempt to capture the most important dynamics of the history yet unfolding in this unfortunate country.

An additional hurdle is the chaos that attended the Bosnian Civil War and the nonlinear character of modern post-conflict operations, whether they emphasize peacemaking, peacekeeping or peace enforcement. In contrast to the story of most wars, peace operations in Bosnia did not unfold in a progression of events that yield a seamless narrative. Rather, the course of history in Bosnia was, and remains, a fitful affair. As the final chapter observes, success in peace operations is hard to measure and self-deception is a constant hazard. One critical aspect of this condition was the ceaseless rotation of U.S. and other units through Bosnia. In some respects, the mission began again with the arrival of each new commander, division, brigade, and battalion....

The Presidency of the United States of America is not "on the job training."

Donald Trump made his decision regarding northern Syria secretly because he knew the backlash he would get. He had to keep a campaign promise. He is truly "The Decider."

Now, we know his decision making, everything is one side or the other. National security often doesn't have that choice.

Now, the country knows for sure Trump is not a man that understands world affairs and the balance of power nor does he care to. He is a danger to the people of the USA. The rest of the world already knows he is dangerously stupid.

The ultmate in fear mongering is believed to be "The Turner Diaries.: They are most likely mandatory reading for the right wing. I am sure Trump has some knowledge of it by now. The Turner Diaries are believed to be the most anti-semetic book since Mein Kampf.

Author: William Pierce (as Andrew Macdonald), (click here) leader of the neo-Nazi National Alliance

Published: 1978

Publisher: Previously, the book was only available through the National Alliance's National Vanguard Press, but Barricade Books, a small independent publisher, began publishing it in 1996.

Premise: The diaries of Earl Turner, member of an underground white supremacist army, provide an inside account of an Aryan revolution that overturns the United States government in the near future.

Tone: Lurid, violent, apocalyptic, misogynistic, racist and anti-Semitic

Notable sequence: Turner's guerrilla unit detonates a homemade bomb at FBI headquarters, killing hundreds - a passage that came to be seen as foreshadowing, and as an inspiration to, Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

Influence: One of the most widely read and cited books on the far-right; it has explicitly influenced, among others, The Order, the Aryan Republican Army, The New Order, Timothy McVeigh.

Timeline:

1991 - Turner's diaries begin, 1993 - Turner's last entry, his successful suicide bombing of the Pentagon, 1999 - Aryan forces triumph, the New Era begins, 2099 - the narrator "publishes" Turner's diaries.

This was supposed to post last night. I really wasn't feeling well at all.

Sometime late Friday evening I was put on antibiotics for pneumonia. I have never had pneumonia before and I don't want it back either. My lungs physically hurt with every breath. I have no idea where or how I got it. I was traveling and when I came home I had pneumonia.

It is a fairly scary infection. So, I am going to call it a night. I already had the pneumonia vaccine.

I wish everyone well. Always, always be serious about being as well as possible.

Until later.

One crime leads to another.

Donald Trump can't hide the fact he has a record now of attempting intimidation in order to gain power over people.

He sought to intimidate the president of Ukraine and now he wants to intimidate the US House Speaker Pelosi and Intelligence Chairman Schiff.

I suppose that might work if it was about who was buying lunch at a hamburger joint, but, this isn't Trump's usual point of intimidation, it is the USA Constitution that is at risk and no one will take his crimes lightly.

The only activity I have ever witnessed with these two US House members is duty. They have a duty to the American people, but, they also have a duty to the USA Constitution. Their activities, including press announcements and meetings, which is always to inform the American people of the activities of their representatives.

Oh, by the way....

...the MBS thing. Well. Trump has to get his oil from somewhere now that Putin owns the Mideast. The fatal flaw there is that MBS is also a friend of Putin. So, if Israel really needs the USA, I guess they will have to bring their own oil tankers.

There is also the fact that Saudi Arabia is the Trump hotels' best customer.

Speaker Pelosi needs to move impeachment forward.

I know it appears as though he is egging the US House to file as he plans to use it as a re-election strategy. The statement has been made that he is impeaching himself with all the misdeeds he carries out in plain sight. Let me just say this, Trump is a dangerous criminal that hands over USA National Sovereignty on a regular basis to the Russians. What if that is Putin's plan? I believe it is.

I don't believe Trump is impeaching himself so much as he is conducting himself as he pleases because he can get away with it. He believe the US House has no resolve to impeach him and he believes the Republicans are still within his control and would never deliver a supermajority to remove him from office. That is the reason Speaker Pelosi doesn't see the resolve to impeach as a reasonable way forward.

I can't answer that for her, but, be sure as long as he is unchecked by Congress he will continue to compromise the USA and hand it over to Putin.

The Kurds have always been the ally of the United States of America. Besides ending the rule of Daesh, they lived a long time under no-fly zones compliments of the USA. We have always been good friends.

Before World War II: (click here)

The British had taken most of the land in the Middle East. There were vast amounts of oil back then and making profits benefited the monarchy.

The "levied armies" were lead by the British, but, their soldiers were from local people.

All too often Americans forget WWII was not just Europe, it was also North Africa.

During his stay (click here) in the Middle East, Britain's Prime Minister Winston Churchill paid a visit to the Alamein area, meeting brigade and divisional commanders, visiting a gun site, and inspecting personnel of Australian and South African divisions, on August 19, 1942 in the western desert.

The North Africa Campaign removed the Axis Powers of Germany and Italy. There was also an Arab Legion, however, it never became involved with the Allied Forces.

By 1942, (click here) the Iraq Levies consisted of a Headquarters, a Depot, Specialist Assyrian companies, 40 service companies and the 1st Parachute Company, which consisted of 75% Assyrian and 25% Kurd. The new Iraq Levies Disciplinary Code was based largely on the Indian Army Act.
By 1943 the Iraq Levies strength stood at 166 British officers controlling 44 companies; 22 Assyrian, five Mixed Assyrian/Yizidi, ten Kurdish, four Marsh Arabs, and three Baluchi. Eleven Assyrian companies served in Palestine and another four served in Cyprus. The Parachute Company was attached to the Royal Marine Commando and were active in AlbaniaItaly and Greece. In 1943/1944 the Iraq Levies were renamed the Royal Air Force Levies.

The reason the number of Kurds was 25 percent is that they were simply a smaller population of people with fewer men able to fight.

It is time to act against Trump, he is killing people now, without any remorse whatsoever. Why no remose? Because he is giving Putin what he wants.

My thoughts tonight is with my youngest son.

He lost a man he called a friend.

James "The Beast" Beasley (click here)

It has long been my feeling that these men from the USA south live very hard lives. James is no different. I will be talking about him again, but, for today, he is loved and missed.

I am sure General George Washington would not have considered this regicide, but, it comes close enough.

A right wing nut that pretends to be a lawyer should be ashamed of himself for giving into bizarre politics over his country.

The United States of America has never had no many enemies both domestic and international as it does today. These enemies don't fire cannons, they pretend they have a right to speak to the public without reverence for the country.

I don't know why Guiliani is involved anymore, Barr is Trump's defense attorney and now he is his media consultant with as a strong man to twist Murdoch's arm. Don't forget political consultant.

March 10, 2019
By Marty Johnson

Attorney General William Barr (click here) met privately Wednesday night with Rupert Murdoch, the media giant and known confidant of President Trump, at Murdoch's home in New York, The New York Times reported on Thursday.

It is unclear what the two discussed, as aides of both men declined to speak with the Times.

The move comes amid House Democrats' impeachment inquiry into Trump over his interactions with Ukraine, matters with which Barr played an integral role.

During his now-infamous July 25 phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump asked the Ukrainian president to do him the favor of looking into former Vice President Joe Biden, a leading 2020 candidate, as well as Biden's son, Hunter. Trump told Zelensky to coordinate with Barr and Rudy Giuliani on the effort....

These people are ridiculous. They have been ridiculous and they always will be ridiculous.

Sarah Sanders is saying Trump pulled out troops from Syria because he doesn't want another forever war. Sarah needs to do some real soul searching while everyone else counts the number dead with the USA gone. Genocide is not within the Christian faith in the 21st Century. I suppose she could reach back to the Crusades, but, they didn't have The Hague.

The international community hasn't had a chance to begin an accurate count of casualties.

In this photo taken from the Turkish side of the border between Turkey and Syria, in Akcakale, Sanliurfa province, southeastern Turkey, people watch as smoke billows from targets inside Syria during bombardment by Turkish forces Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019

Ackakale Turkish forces (click here) pushed deeper into northeastern Syria on Friday, the third day of Ankara's cross-border offensive against Syrian Kurdish fighters that has set off another mass displacement of civilians and met with widespread criticism from the international community.

There were casualties on both sides and Turkey reported its first military fatality, saying a soldier was "martyred" in the fighting....

This is not the beginning of Erdogan's cultural purge, this is the continuation and now it is with Trump's permission.

More than 300,000 books (click here) have been removed from Turkish schools and libraries and destroyed since the attempted coup of 2016, according to Turkey’s ministry of education.

Turkey’s education minister Ziya Selçuk announced last week that 301,878 books had been destroyed as the government cracks down on anything linked to Fethullah Gülen, the US-based Muslim cleric who is accused by Turkey of instigating 2016’s failed military coup. Gülen has denied involvement.

The figure was first reported by the popular newspaper Hürriyet, with images of books being seized and burned published by online news outlet Kronos27....

Turkey's children have no need for books, since, their president has been asking their parents to commit them to be soldiers. I suppose they will be fighting in Syria soon enough.

Kristalina Georgieva issued a stern warning in her first address

Kristalina Georgieva, (click here) in her first major address as head of the International Monetary Fund, painted a downbeat picture of the world economy and said a more severe slowdown could require governments to coordinate fiscal-stimulus measures.

In a speech that sets the tone for next week's annual meeting of the IMF, Georgieva said the fund will cut its growth forecast for both 2019 and 2020 in its next World Economic Outlook due October 15. In July, the fund lowered its projection to 3.2 per cent this year and 3.5 per cent next year - its fourth downgrade since last October.

Global institutions, economists and investors are blaming the US-China tariff conflict as a prime factor for slowing global growth. The trade tensions have partly caused manufacturing to tumble and weakened investment, creating a "serious risk" of spillover to other areas of the economy like services and consumption, Georgieva said in prepared remarks in Washington on Tuesday. Global trade growth is close to a standstill, she added....

Here comes another acting.
