In all honesty, it looks like Trump has the risk in attempting to oppress a free society.

That person had to be able to perform math functions. Trump can’t. He has had a bankruptcy every time the law allowed.

Wars are not an answer to anything. Wars are temporary and unsustainable. How long was the USA in Iraq and today all we hear is how we should have never left. The USA was in Afghanistan for twenty years and longer considering the history before bin Laden and where is Afghanistan today?
A free country should only go to war when forced into it. It is the respect we deserve. Other countries don’t want to waken the beast of our bombs, war machines, and soldiers. They are wicked.
The USA can sustain a battlefield forever as its people are highly industrious and determined. The question is why? Is a forever sustainable war actually a victory?
Peace can be the foundation of the world if it chooses it. The ideologies of difference can be propagated into a sustainable world that is prosperous but it has to choose it. In the USA there is an ideology in Christian Nationalism that is toxic to any hope for peace.
The world has to choose peace. It won’t happen with war as it’s under pinning. It will happen out of free will and determination.

Iran has some of the most sophisticated USA military technology that exists.
This isn’t the only time Iran has retrieved drone technology. A top of the line drone was shot down while running surveillance out of Afghanistan. Where do you think Russian drones originated from? Who is assisting Russia with its Ukraine assaults?
The only reason Iran isn’t more successful with Israel already is because of sanctions on it and on Russia.
War? Attempting to bomb Iran into oblivion when the global community already has protested the killing in Gaza? What makes anyone think Iran is going to be alone when it’s allies like Russia, China, and North Korea want nothing more than end NATO.
Trump is lining up the USA military to engage Iran as an ally of Israel, does Trump assume Iran’s allies are sitting on their hands? The truth is they are waiting to spring a much larger trap.

Why. does Israel assume it can’t be destroyed?
Iran is not Gaza.
There is no doubt Iran has been enriching uranium beyond that of any peaceful use. That came out at the UN Security Council meeting. The IAEA has been diligently following Iran’s progression. Why does Israel believe bombing is going to yield the desired outcome?
Attempting to bomb Iran’s nuclear tendencies into oblivion will result in only one thing; Iran’s determination to have nuclear military capacity. War will not bring Iran from the breech, it will force the country into nuclear military capacity. With war raging there is absolutely no reason to stop the progression forward into nuclear armament.
The strategy Trump is proposing with Israel is based in ego and not military capacity. The foolishness being proposed as if it was at all possible will not result in a failed state in Iran, but, Israel could be destroyed. The land mass of the two countries alone dictates a far different outcome than what is being envisioned. Israel cannot sustain major assaults on its land for any reasonable period.
Netanyahu sees this as an opportunity to end Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Iran is a sovereign power with capacity beyond what Israel estimates. How many scientists did Israel kill? Yet, the enrichment went forward. Israel forgets the Iran that was before the fall of the Shah. Those people and their intellectual culture still persists. The Iranian protesters are more successful than Israel will ever be.
There is no doubt Iran’s nuclear capacity has to be stopped. But, war? Bombing? The global community needs to take a hard line against such a strategy before it is too late.
It’s gotten to be a little ridiculous.
Trump’s big push to violate the USA Constitution is that no one is safe. In this case the country is not safe from Harvard’s admission standards in recruiting and accepting foreign students. There is no basis of truth to it.
The judge has allowed the greatest deference to Trump in hearing the reason for such bizarre executive orders and decisions. Harvard has stood steadfast and allowed democracy to work its powers through the court. Trump has been allowed Due Process.
Look.
The USA is a strong democracy. While elements of society and politics would see a coupe to allow a king to control the structure of law enforcement to certain outcomes, it isn’t going to happen. The laws of the USA bend toward freedom. Why would anyone ever believe Harvard was a national security threat?
The students that demonstrated on college campuses were looking for recognition no different than any other person(s) in our history. Those that remember the illegal wars of Vietnam and Iraq remember the demonstrations that would eventually end the corruption that fed them. This isn’t any different.
Students who saw injustice in Gaza wanted it ended. You mean to tell me Harvard or Columbia or any other University didn’t have control of their campuses so that nuclear secrets would end up in the hands of Hamas? If any of that danger were to end up with Hamas check Iran and not Harvard.
So, in distilling all this down Trump’s bizarre executive orders were racism. The students had rights. They were on USA soil and they exerted those rights. I am proud to say.
I realize the demonstrators that were to benefit Palestine were considered anti-semitic. No one dismissed those concerns either. But, at the end of the day freedom won and the USA and their magnificent universities are still standing. A little battered and bruised, but, very much still standing.
Hopefully, now the universities will recover from an onslaught of hate and racism.

Governor Gavin Newsome is doing a great job.
Anyone who believes in democracy and freedom knew it would take a great deal of patience to turn this ship around and right it again. The misdirection of the United States of America happened over time. It won’t take long to return to a benevolent circumstance for all, but, it does take a great deal of patience and steadfast insight.
Governor Newsome is one of those men who presides over an enormous state. California is a big chuck of the west coast of the United States. Anyone who has been governor of that incredibly free state would have experienced the USA in a way no other had unless perhaps the president of the country. It is prophetic and somewhat welcome for Trump to pick as his first victim, California.
It is a relief to realize California has been able to secure the proper attention of the judiciary in the request for briefs to be filed in this head to head battle of freedom versus authoritarianism. I know many governors in this country are up to the challenge, but, Governor Newsome has a state that demands freedom in the way Trump most wants to oppress it including a very dynamic economy that rivals most of the world’s economies.
Judges in the USA mostly have a practice free of oppression. They don’t anticipate hatred, anger, corruption, or authoritarianism to win the day. The USA has developed over centuries and next year it will be two and a half centuries old. Many like to call the governance of the USA an experiment, but, 250 years of practicing democratic principles with the outcomes we have witnessed in our lifetime is not really an experiment at all. It is an odds on favorite the USA has already been there and done that in any judicial decision.
I believe judges all along the path from local to Supreme Court have to get a clear picture of bad intent for this democracy before they will call it. No judge that I have read yet dating back to the January 6th insurrection has acted against the democracy. They yield to allow freedom of legal expression in their courts of law, but, ultimately they are interested in upholding justice and not pretense.
In requesting briefs to be submitted in California it is a way to bring to focus the law, its application, and some great legal argument that will result in clarity.
The problem with Trump’s application of the law is corruption. Republicans play a game of “word meaning” in their politics. In the case of the USA Constitution there is more than wordy definition entering the decisions of justice. Justice is dynamic and not just a word.

My thoughts on Iran’s nuclear capacity is not unique
Israel has stated it’s bombing of Iran is pre-emptive. That would be correct as Iran has no nuclear weapons to date. There is absolutely no reason for the continued assault on the Iranian people.

This assault on a sovereign country such as Iran is illegal in that the reason for it is ill placed without sincere purpose. Iran is not Gaza. It had nothing to do with the October 6th attacks that killed innocent and unarmed Israeli citizens. Israel can make the argument that Iran supports the “Shi’ite Crescent,” but, that is a completely different topic. Iran had no first hand knowledge of the murders on October 6th and it’s on going conflict.
Iran attacked Israel in an effort to end the circumstances of the Palestinian people. It is no surprise Iran hates Israel and will not recognize its right to exist. If Iran made that leap of faith, perhaps its militias such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis might lower the threat from these groups. Israel has seen to the continuing problems of Hamas and Hezbollah by carrying out successful attacks on their foot soldiers as well as leadership. Hassan Nasrallah is dead.
The argument to end this war between two religious opposites is strong in realizing the agreements under Obama have been mostly successful in containing Iran’s nuclear weaponization. There has been no movement toward a successful nuclear bomb under Iran’s current government since 2003. That is a full generation of peace, but, with progress noted in enrichment.
If the USA continues on a path of war it will be violating international laws that protect innocent people when countries differ in ways that result in violence.
We have witnessed senseless deaths of Syrians when Assad was the authoritarian in that country. Those deaths were brought about by chlorine barrel bombs and Russian tanks. Every form of civilized building was a target by Russia and Assad including hospitals. We have witnessed this same level of disregard to international norms with Israel and its attacks into Gaza. Now, Israel in its pre-emptive bombings are carrying out the same meaningless strategy of warning people of eminent bombings. This time with Iran Israel’s ambition is much bigger warning a city with 10 million people to evacuate or face death. It is more obvious than ever that warnings to evacuate are to placate an international community appalled by the inhumanity shown another race of people.
If Trump continues in a path of senseless killing as he endorses today, he has a real problem to face in killing people without purpose in the face of Iranian leadership that has not moved aggressively to nuclear weaponization.
Practicing racism of all extremes is not leadership in any form.

I find the joint statement on wildfire to be timely and important (click here). Adopting a “whole society) approach is most interesting. It means citizens don’t have to seek modernization alone. Government among these nations now recognize the problem with climate can’t be leveraged by consumer interests alone. That is a very important first step and will carry over to COP in the future.

Silly to assume Iran is alone.
A world war is not the answer. A treaty on nuclear non-proliferation is the only solution with Iran. They can't use nuclear anymore. It causes too much concern over danger to other regional countries. Please stop this craziness. It makes no sense.

Data showed that on each flight, the plane flew westward along northern China, crossing into Kazakhstan, then south into Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan – and then falling off the radar as it neared Iran.
To add to the mystery, flight plans indicated a final destination of Luxembourg, but the aircraft appeared to have never flown near European skies....
I think the Governor is correct.
Monitoring gatherings will have to be necessary. Hopefully, with enough oversight peaceful assembly will not be sacrificed. Continuing violence will defeat the people as they assemble to stand up for their country. It is important people can assemble without danger.
Following 911 and then COVID-19 there were always complaints from people that were louder than reason demanding relieve from danger. This is going to take awhile. There are a lot of guns on the street in the USA.

Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe (R) on Thursday declared a state of emergency and activated the state’s National Guard in anticipation of protests across the state — and in response to “civil unrest” across the country.
Missouri Executive Order 25-25 declares a State of Emergency and allows the Adjutant General to order service members to aid state officials.
The order comes after the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri National Guard and Missouri Department of Public Safety established a Unified Command to monitor situations across the state and prepare local law enforcement....
Here is a review of the seriousness of our society surrounding this decision.
Oh, one other thing. That was a Tennessee law and not a federal law.
Ohio has a much more supportive law. Child growth and development must be important to have a happy, healthy country.

The board vote on June 17 adopted a modified model policy that makes Columbus City Schools compliant with state House Bill 8, which proponents call the "Parents' Bill of Rights" and includes a requirement that the district inform parents about any request by a student to identify as a gender that does not align with the student’s biological sex.
Board President Michael Cole said the board wants "to ensure that children have every bit of advocacy they need on our side, policy-wise and in terms of administrative guidelines to ensure that they're protected."...

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (click here) will close its Center for Transyouth Health and Development and its transgender surgical program in July, citing federal and state-level funding pressures.
The hospital told families in an email that there was “no viable alternative” to closing the clinic, one of the nation’s largest, citing “the increasingly severe impacts of federal administrative actions and proposed policies,” including an executive order issued by President Donald Trump earlier in the year.
The center’s last day of operation will be July 22, according to the email, which was signed by clinic leaders including Paul Viviano and Kelly Johnson.
Earlier this year several hospitals in the United States suspended their child transgender programs after Trump’s order “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation,” which moved to halt the “maiming and sterilizing [of] a growing number of impressionable children” due to transgender ideology....
It is terrible when people are this ignorant. There is no national security or international security risk of transgender people. This is political nonsense intended to raise fear and hate. There is supposed to be some political alignment with Trump when the fear sets in. It's an unbalanced way to promote a political campaign that can do real life harm to people.
The fear mongering by the Trump people never stops. Whatever is in the headlines is fair game.

I firmly believe the problem for transgender women in sports is because of the delay in treatment.
Being trans is not a mystery. It is a matter of genetics. It is not a choice or a popular idea that can adversely affect children. I do believe the public does not understand it enough to converse about it. The public’s understanding is completely wrong.
The children are definitely affected by the delay. They can’t completely identify with their correct gender. Those are heavy psychological tolls. I think the psychological impact can be dangerous to the individual especially in their teens.
This has to be addressed. It can’t simple go away. There needs to be a universal standard to follow. It is not about drag queens or sports, it is growing up with the correct body as soon as the pineal gland starts to retreat. This isn’t a topic for political debate. There is a clear path. I am not going to change my mind.
The path must bring the family along with the child.

The roots of Republican destruction of the USA Education system stems from people like DeVos.
Betsey DeVos believes in a cast system to rule society. Follow her life for decades now, while she has been generous and there is a children’s hospital named with the family name, that generosity ends with the public school system.
It is long known that Betsy DeVos believes children born on farms should be working the farm for the rest of their lives. Basically, slave labor.
All that makes sense to people like DeVos who spent $1 million on a structure on her property to celebrate her son’s high school graduation. After the party was over it was torn down not to be identified as belonging to any other purpose or person.
Betsy DeVos is filthy rich. Why not keep the wealth in the family and buy the power within a political party to do so?
Look, there are just so many top of the ladder jobs in the USA, why allow any paradigm shift that could rattle the family fortune? With wealth being the only important factor in obtaining power there should be a ruling class of elite American citizens to make decisions for everyone else.
That is it in a nutshell. That is what Linda McMahon is trying to wrestle to the ground.
It is okay for people to pay taxes, but, the taxpayer should not be burdened by how it is spent because they are of inferior intellect. The wealthy are wealthy because of their superior gene pool. Royalty if you will.
So.
The assault on the public school system has been a point of contention with Republicans for a long time. So long it is a problem with their gene pool. But, then we all should have such problems, huh?
The school system of the USA started long before the Declaration of Independence and a tea party in Boston. So what we inherited as a democracy was vastly imperfect to accommodate a new and highly dynamic country that would grow and spread west from the Thirteen Original Colonies. But, we as a democracy was willing to work with it. Hone it, if you will.
This country belongs to the people and there are many tired of the elitist attitude of wealthy Republicans that grabbed power in the name of their god, MAGA.
Only one word is needed here, and even Trump says it well at his first failed assassination, “Fight!”
