Volkswagen
I believe it’s Chattanooga plant is gearing up to build EVs. It looks like a really tough vehicle. It is called the “Scout.” It is expensive, but, what vehicle these days aren’t. Looking forward to have the Scout roll if that assembly line. Thank you, Chattanooga.

It is only as good as the land it sits on. It is not a replacement for a mountain. Trees will grow through it, crack it, and render it useless.
The land has to be stable.
It is dangerous business.
I imagine folks think it sounds silly that a mountain can be unstable, but, there was a lot of disruption to those mountains when tons and tons of wind and gravity driven water came out of the sky.
Water is heavy. I was in the thick of it when the periphery of Floyd hit Wilmington, North Carolina. Floyd returned Wilmington to its former island status, but, Floyd was nothing like Helene. The water came out of the sky and buckled my knees when I first waded into 18 inches of flood waters to begin to move all the vehicles the family owned. The weight of the water from above is what buckled my knees not the still flooding waters.
To realize the level of devastation by Helene is to understand what water can do to an entire region of the country. I have been in those mountains and they were beautiful and the people as well. It is hard to write these things, but, many people died and I dearly don’t want to have it happen again.
The CEOs from IT can take a piece of ownership of the mine. They need to take an interest. The country is supplying its best people to do all the heavy lifting. The Army Corp is the best and they are ready. There is no waiting with their readiness.

It appears this area may have the highest death toll and the residents know it is going to be a difficult and long term recovery of bodies.
The woman in the video appears to have become a community organizer. She is wonderful. Very frustrated, but, that is completely understandable. The National Guard is invaluable in this area.
The big concern for national security is the silica mine. She speaks to it. The problem is whether or not the area can be made safe and stable to continue the mine operation. The IT industry needs to supply much needed monies to assist in the recovery of this area and especially the mine. It is okay if CEOs are heroes this time. The country has its hands full already. The IT guys can probably assist in assessing the instability in the area in working with the Army Corps maps and expertise.

To begin the devastation of Helene is more than any current government entity can deal with alone. Conservation Corps are required to save lives. However, rebuilding in these areas of NC and Tennessee are in question.

The link shows the headwaters of a small meandering creek turned into an enormous mudslide. The “thing” is this: These lands at the headwaters are highly unstable areas. They are continuing to be highly unstable. Rebuilding in this entire area is out of the question. There is no way of stabilizing these mountain areas now that they have been devastated and loosened from former stability.
THESE MOUNTAINS, for as beautiful as they are, ARE COMPLETELY UNSTABLE to think anyone within them, or near them are safe going forward.
There were whirlpools of mud and debris where creeks met each other. The land is permanently altered. If storms of any intensity roll through the devastation and erosion will continue. The entire area should be condemned from redevelopment. It will be a century before these mountains can be considered even close to stable. There were enormous rockslides. Trees were shredded. SHREDDED.
Mr. Honeycutt could present his findings to the public to facilitate understanding. He is great.

“Citizens United” was a moronic decision.
This is how the PACS are spending money. This garbage comes every single day. It has done nothing but hurt this democracy. The PACS are throwing money away. It is a trash can full of mailers at postal boxes.

These people reacted exactly the same as Americans. They were in disbelief of the severity of the climate.
Everyone was told for decade after decade of this outcome. People, no matter where in the world they are, don’t learn from such scientific insights. They only learn in the here and now. Politics has interfered with the best outcomes for climate. There are political leaders such as Trump that simply don’t care about the people and only focus on power issues such as money and “drill, babe, drill.”
Given these continued climate deaths, the abuse of Earth regardless of what we know, and huge numbers of deaths due to COVID-19, there is more magical thinking in the vapors of living than logic to bring about a practical world rather than a dreamscape of power and wealth. I have always been astounded by how willing adults are to look away from the truth to favor fantasy. That to me is just bizarre and being a sheep over the cliff of life.
I am sorry to hear of these tragedies, but, they were and are inevitable without leaders that believe in the truth and govern accordingly.
Leaders are supposed to lead and disdain the corruption of the best path forward. Doesn’t anyone believe in a child’s future anymore?

Breonna Taylor was doing everything right. She cared about herself, had a foot on the path to success, and was in love quite possibly into a lifetime relationship. She did nothing wrong and was living on the right side of the law when all hell broke loose.

Former USA House Representative Elizabeth Cheney comes from a family that has influenced the politics of this magnificent country. They contributed enormously to the cultural tilt that brought the Republican Party its following for decades. Former Second Lady Lynne Cheney has circled her wagon many times to the enjoyment of Republican women all over the country. I believe she is an author as well. To realize how completely insane such words are during a presidential election campaign is stunning.
Of course Trump means every word. He relishes deaths he promotes. I am certain Former Speaker Pelosi never received a word of concern from the Trumps regarding her spouse’s attack and continuing recovery. Trump never came out to denounce such an act or saw to a deescalation by his minions’ hatred of “ the other.” Quite the contrary he is escalating fear and hate of “the other” no matter what firm it takes. He is always impressed with his own importance.
The Former Representative Cheney and her family need protection now that Trump’s campaigning has TARGETED her as his enemy.
He is one sick man that never deserved the office of the President of the United States of America. He is a student of Putin and this is another example.
When will he be charged with the deaths from COVID-19 of innocent people in this country? He caused deaths, especially among people believing his words that it was a hoax and attended COVID parties to prove it, only to die of the virus afterwards with death bed pleadings to others to think differently.
This country has never had such a horribly sick man in a campaign for the highest seat in our government. He is at the very least disgusting but more sincerely should be locked up with the criminally insane. He knows nothing of power and how to bring benevolence with it. He is drunk on his own evil.

Dismantling the federal government

That is what Trump’s plans are. I told you. Communism has two classes of people, the elite and everyone else. Trump and his minions want to dismantle the federal government and redirect federal monies for their own uses. That is what Trump wants and he will destroy this country.
Wall Street can kiss it good-bye. The American people will look like Vance’s early life without any recourse to improve their lives. The educational system won’t exist except for elite public schools. The average American child will have to rely on Khan Academy.
NASA will be replaced by Space X.
The truth will be replaced by a tabloid dreamscape to fuel the lies to end established practices, policies, and government. Trump did this last time with impacts on government. There was an article entire arm added to the military called “The Space Force.” It is headed up by very fine peope but its purpose is mostly redundant with NASA, DeXCEPT, monies were to be used for investigations of aliens and UFOs.
REALIZE at a time when FEMA is vital to Americans Trump diverted funds to the border.
Vaccines? WHO needs vaccines? Americans just need to eat better. Viruses happen some. That is Mother Nature’s way of controlling the population and then everyone goes to heaven. There were only a million dead and the money wasn’t worth spending for vaccines. When Kennedy’s agricultural ventures fail, where are Americans going to find food? Welcome the Dust Bowl.

It isn't necessary to apologize.
It is amazing how the Republicans can make such horrible remarks and get away with it. Not only get away with it, but, double down on it.
Then the Democrats, in this case President Biden, run to protect the minority group from the really lousy words of Trump and his minions and then an apology is demanded.
Well. I don't think so.
President Biden was insulted by the words being spoken in New York City by a candidate for the presidency. He did not blatantly state "garbage" as if an insult pulled out of thin air. He spoke it in horror of the potential and violent fallout that most likely will occur of a dear group of minority Americans and the island nation we hold dear as a territory to this great country.

...Biden (click here) was responding on Tuesday to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage" at the rally on Sunday and also disparaged Black Americans, Jewish people, Palestinians and Latinos....
It is admirable that President Biden, in thinking twice about the comment, came to apologize so as to not insult the entire number of Republicans in the USA. But, quite frankly those Republican voters should be as appalled as President Biden by those words at a political rally.
The rally in New York City that was conducted and sanctioned by Trump and the Republican Party was another example of political violence. The words were all inflammatory and the potential real harm to real Americans they can cause in this great country is a shame.

President Biden felt compelled to protect citizens because of the violent speeches at a political rally of a candidate for president. The truth is the rally in New York City was purposeful for Trump. It was a call to arms no different than his speech on January 6, 2021. It is the same violence Trump is organizing for when he loses the election.
The people that should be apologizing are the Republicans and their candidates that enthusiastically enjoy such violent gatherings.

That is intimidation. If it works for an election it will continue in his presidency. Living in fear of the President is not a democracy. Elected officials are sworn to ensue domestic tranquility. Trump is not capable of protecting citizens. He is only capable of hatred.
Unless a citizen is Caucasian and Christian Trump will hate them and declare them a danger to the USA. No one is safe from such a hate filled man.
These are non-state actors
They will not go away and will continue to cause death and destruction based in the hate regime mapped out for them by Iran. Iran needs to call the Shi’ites home and end its proxy presence in what has been known as the Shi’ite Crescent.
Israel will not stop this confrontation between terrorist non-state actors until they eliminated. Iran is the Shi’ite Homeland and they must proceed as a sovereign authority should proceed and end support to non-state actors to bring peace to the region.
The problem is Iran and its expansionist ideology.
