...The review revealed(click here) that the WEDC handed out 27 contracts to 24 companies in a two-year period between July 2011 and June 2013 without any staff review from the underwriting department. Altogether, these awards totaled $124 million.

The review comes as the WEDC is set to meet on July 20th to discuss a loan that went to a failing company owned by one of Republican Governor Scott Walker's own donors. In that case, the owner of the company that received a half million dollar unsecured loan gave $10,000 to Walker's campaign....

This is secondary to the mining the Koch brothers have received due to donations to Walkers ongoing forever campaigns.

...Some of the companies (click here) on the list are owned or affiliated with donors to Walker's political campaigns.

Kenneth C. Stock, the chief executive of KCS International, a luxury boat builder in Oconto, donated $8,500 to Walker. Members of the Sonnentag family, which owns County Materials, have donated at least $36,000 to Walker. Laona-based WD Parket LLC, is a fifth-generation company run by the Connor family, longtime Republican donors.

The three highest un-reviewed awards all came through the enterprise zone program. The largest, $62.5 million, went to Kohl's Department Stores for an expansion of its corporate headquarters on June 28, 2012, for a project that was expected to create 3,000 jobs but that has created just 473 so far.

The next highest was $18 million to Kestrel Aircraft Company for an expected 665 jobs, but just 24 have been created. The third highest was $15 million to Plexus Corp. to create 350 jobs, but none have been created, according to a tally provided by WEDC.

Of the 27 awards, just over 6,100 jobs were expected to be created, but to date only about 2,100 have been. Nearly 8,900 jobs have been retained, according to WEDC. The projects made about $490 million in investment, the report said....

Why is the Republican field so large? Why not?

...This year, (click here) the relationship may evolve in unpredictable ways. With three tough statewide election victories under his belt, Walker, 47, is poised to pursue the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. The Kochs have pledged to marshal some $900 million to spend on a fight for the presidency, and although they may not wade directly into the GOP primary muck, their ties to Walker appear stronger than to anyone else considering a run. While the older brother, Charles Koch, has a personal affection for Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, the most libertarian-leaning potential candidate of the bunch, Paul doesn’t hold the same appeal for the Kochs' donor friends. Another high-profile contender, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, hasn't attended the high-profile donor summits the Kochs host near Palm Springs, Calif., though he was invited this year....

When do prosecutors put this together and get on with charges and arrests?

Gov. Scott Walker (click here) prodded outside groups and individuals to funnel millions of dollars into Wisconsin Club for Growth — a pro-Walker group directed by his campaign adviser — during the recall elections in 2011 and 2012, according to court documents unsealed for a short time Friday afternoon....

It is one corruption by Walker and Koch to another and another. How much corruption in Wisconsin will finally bring this to the courts?

...This fight (click here) has now become the central issue in the next week’s Iron County election. In the past, these races have been generally uncontested with the winner in each district receiving a few hundred votes. But this year, ten of the fifteen county seats are being contested as the pro and anti-mine candidates have squared off.

So enter billionaires two and three: Charles and David Koch and their Americans for Prosperity group. This is the same group that spent $120 million plus in the 2012 election cycle supporting Republicans and are currently pouring millions into the 2014 election cycle on behalf of GOP candidates....
