Dear Michael Moore,
This has been a rough year for everyone, but, given the movie houses, theater, and film festivals are canceled this year, it must be a really difficult year for you. Add to that your first attempt, that I know of, as an Executive Producer and YouTube took down a free film. Ouch.
Why is it when you do something controversial you need your own theaters to distribute them? I am surprised at YouTube, but, the film was questionably ethical if there is copyright infringement. Shame on Jeff Gibbs and the lawyers, if he employed any, did the film an injustice.
I sat down the other day and dedicated about three hours to watching it though, taking notes the 2nd time I watched it through and then compose a dialogue for this blog in what I felt would be an even-handed critique. I watched the first ten minutes of Mr. Gibbs film and my intelligence was so insulted I turned it off. Now, I promised myself I would try one more time on another day, but, it is no longer available to watch. Perhaps it will be in the future.
The entire issue of the Climate Crisis is real. There is no one that can deny the very drastic change in climate and weather all over the world. The reason the Climate Crisis is important is that it is not changing in a benevolent way that will forever sustain life. The Barrier Reefs in Australia is a profound statement of the degree this crisis is taking Earth's climate and troposphere, not to mention other layers of atmosphere above the troposphere. That is an entirely different subject, but, the layers of atmosphere around Earth have received impacts from the Climate Crisis experienced and begun in the troposphere where humans live.
Now that is probably boring to someone like Jeff Gibbs. Mr. Gibbs wanted to dig deep into the environmental movement and be controversial to have a dialogue about the future of energy. Hopefully, Mr. Gibb would be willing to admit there is a Climate Crisis of which something needs to be done and I hope he admits it has been caused by human activity. If those two premise are rejected by him, there is no sense in even watching his film because it only estranges the very people that need to change their bad energy habits and allows them to be zealots.
The Climate Crisis and the path forward is not up for discussion. Radical changes in energy have to be made and now. This change is long overdue. All the Greenhouse Gases (GHG) have to be brought under control. It is just that simple. The major offender of this is the petroleum industry. As you well know the original Henry Ford believed the electric car was vital and he also stated the burning of fossil fuels would cause a climate crisis. Those are not his exact words, only his understanding of the very machine he designed to burn gasoline.
There is a profound reality I am quite confident Jeff Gibbs didn't even attempt to examine called Ohm's Law. Ohm's Law is a scientific LAW that electric current is proportional to voltage and inversely proportional to resistance. If you want a modern-day explanation of the difficulty in designing electric anything efficiently ask Elon Musk to explain it to you. Elon Musk has applied the science to his battery technology and won. He won, Michael. He found a way to overcome the RESISTANCE of Ohm's Law and actually produce batteries that propel a semi-truck otherwise known as a tractor-trailer. That is the pinnacle of any environmental success. Elon Musk is a hero in every sense of the word.
Ever since the 1960s it became obvious the GHGs needed to be controlled to end their saturation of Earth's atmospheres, engineers have been trying to overcome RESISTANCE so that it would not eat up the entire EFFICIENCY of alternative energies. I heard your complaint about wind turbine efficiency. Engineers were able to find 12 to 16 percent efficiency to produce GHG-FREE electricity. That doesn't even address THE GRID. President Obama knew the importance of modernizing and making AN EFFICIENT ELECTRIC GRID IN THE USA. No one is going to state it isn't important to have the greatest efficiency possible for alternative energies. Everyone wants that. There is no planned obsolescence in alternative energies. Quite the opposite. The longer manufacturing can be held at bay to prevent any heat pollution the happier the environmental community is, however, the real question is, "IS IT PRACTICAL TO EXPECT IT?"
Earth's physics is a difficult partner in this pursuit. Physics have LAWS and they are real and designing efficient ANYTHING in this world takes the best of the best. NASA is one of the best of the best. They work with Earth's physics all the time and even NASA has issues they have difficulty solving.
The problem as I see it Michael is not the willingness to have alternative energies that work to return a healthy troposphere to Earth's many, many generations; but; commitment and financing. It is completely hypocritical to have financial institutions handing out pittance of funding for alternative energies while at the same time using petroleum to increase their cash flow. It is ludicrous. I have no patience for it.
Perhaps I will someday see Mr. Gibbs film and bit the bullet to get into the material without being insulted. But, if his premise for his film is wrong, then it is wrong and there is no reason to air it anymore.
Michael, the youngest generation today is currently inheriting an Earth that is completely alien to the planet you and I grew up on. That is more than unfair, it is a lack of respect for life. If Mr. Gibb returns the desire for anyone watching his film to respect life and accept a new reality that is will benefit the children of today; then it was worth all the effort to understand it. But, if it is simply complaining for the sake of complaining without valid sound science behind his complaint then your venture into being an Executive Producer is a failure. I think some self-reflection by all involved with this film is due and if that self-reflection reveals a wrongful agenda, then let the film die. It isn't worth the venture and I am sorry this happened in your otherwise very successful career.

YouTube (click here) has taken down the controversial Michael Moore-produced documentary Planet of the Humans in response to a copyright infringement claim by a British environmental photographer.
The movie, which has been condemned as inaccurate and misleading by climate scientists and activists, allegedly includes a clip used without the permission of the owner Toby Smith, who does not approve of the context in which his material is being used.
In response, the filmmakers denied violating fair usage rules and accused their critics of politically motivated censorship....

Super Spreader Events
When people travel for recreation to a shore or lake or party destination they are not simply going to the local pool or the neighbor, they are coming from many different places they call home.
Memorial Day seems to be a similar dynamic witnessed in Florida during Spring Break. Florida never had to deal with all the fallout of it's irresponsible policies, states throughout the country did.
The activity of vacationing in areas where there are large numbers of complete strangers intermingling is a "Super Spreader Event."
The point is that state governments, no matter how they try, will continue to see spikes in their cases after Super Spreader Events.
The USA needs to concentrate on the issue at hand to end the spread of this virus. It is not the flu and has very different impacts on the human body.
Wikipedia obtains it's data from the WHO (click here) which actually has current new infections higher. The WHO updates these numbers frequently, so the data at Wikipedia may be a few hours old. Both reportings are from May 25th, but, the exact hour of the Wikipedia reporting could be different. The official number is from the WHO Situation Report (click here).
I stated early on in following the disease spread the sawtooth pattern of the graph was due to the lack of central leadership. That pattern continues today and this is a situation report numbered 126.
On May 25th the USA recorded 24,151 new cases. This must not continue.
My apologies to the Klausutis family for the scandalous behavior of a president that perverts every niche issue in the world for votes.
Trump (click here) has tweeted multiple times in recent days to falsely suggest the congressman-turned-television host Joe Scarborough murdered an employee whose death was ruled an accident.
Deepest sympathies to the Klausutis family for continued grief that is now three years in the making. The tabloid media involved actually dates back to 2005, but, only in the past three years has this conspiracy theory been revived.
As painful as this for many people this firmly proves the ruthless exploitation by Donald Trump and his son, primarily. They will seek out any minor attention-grabbing topic, push it to prominence for the sole purpose of bringing power to perceived injustice. This is a tragic example of the perverted mind of Trump in pretending to seek justice for the victimized. This is a political strategy for votes to keep Trump in office for the sole purpose of bringing truth to injustice. It is why the Deep State fiction exists.
There is only one way to deal with Trump and Jr. and that is through legal channels in the way of lawsuits to end the harassment, otherwise, they will continue to feed on an issue and look for voter approval.

Trump couldn't have hid the deaths by COVID-19 even as he tried.
One of the tools available to the CDC is a chart that tracks all the deaths in the USA. When the information shows there is an excess of deaths more than expected the CDC begins to follow the trend to find the cause and protect the people of the USA.
This graph begins in January 2017 and ends on April 1, 2020. There are excess deaths noted on January 1 of 2017 and 2018 as noted by red crosses/Xs. The green verticle lines record the actual number of deaths. These graphs can run from one to nine weeks behind the actual statistics because of the processing of death certificates and recording those certificates into recorded statistics.
The solid orange horizontal line is the expected excessive deaths. In other words statistically more or less. The blue horizontal lines above the normal expected death rate is COVID-19 which was recorded statistically in March 2020.
Trump's denial of the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in the USA was not correct; not by a long shot. These statistics were picking up COVID-19 deaths as Trump denied there was such a danger to Americans. Attempting to hide a dangerous virus among flu statistics would never work. Trump didn't know that as he lied to the country.
Americans in the USA are some of the most protected people in the world from any form of harm recorded by their government. A president is unable to pretend that a deadly episode of disease is not taking the lives of the people. His denial to supposedly protect economics was never going to be upheld by the reality of information.

Other states need to pay attention to interstate migration of people that may be leaving states like Alabama when they get ill. There is no central policy providing health care where the ill reside.

As the state of Alabama (click here) lifts coronavirus restrictions, hospital intensive care units in its capital are running out of beds.
Montgomery hospitals are "down to just a handful of ICU beds," Mayor Steven Reed told Business Insider on Thursday. Many of the incoming patients are from surrounding rural counties which don't have ICUs.
Unable to take in new patients who are in need of immediate attention, Montgomery hospitals are transferring them 90 miles away to Birmingham, Reed said. It's the first time they've had to make such transfers since the pandemic began....

Barack Obama, (click here) the Democratic presidential candidate, and his wife, Michelle Obama, have released their tax return for last year showing that they donated 5.7 percent of their income to charitable causes.
The tax return shows that the Illinois senator and Mrs. Obama, who reported $4.2-million in income, gave $240,370 to 33 churches and charities in 2007.
Senator and Mrs. Obama made their largest gift, of $50,000, to the United Negro College Fund. They gave $35,000 to CARE, the international relief organization, and $26,270 to Trinity United Church of Christ (whose pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. has made headlines for controversial sermons)....
Trump does not have the corner on generosity by elected presidents. These donations by Former President Obama and Mrs. Obama occurred before he was elected to office. Why the bragging? Trump doesn't put this income tax return out to the public. Evidently, President Obama never was embarrassed by it and it was where the American people learned about the couple's generosity.

Efforts to highlight Donald Trump’s largesse (click here) during his time in office have backfired after his press secretary appeared to display the US president’s personal bank details to the world.
At a press conference on Friday, Kayleigh McEnany announced that Trump would donate his quarterly pay cheque to the Department of Health and Human Services to “support the efforts being undertaken to confront, contain and combat the coronavirus”. So far, so laudable.
However, when she held up the $100,000 cheque for White House reporters to see, it came complete with all Trump’s banking details.
An administration official told the New York Times mock cheques were never used in the briefing, with a White House statement saying, “Today his salary went to help advance new therapies to treat this virus, but leave it to the media to find a shameful reason not to simply report the facts, focusing instead on whether the check is real or not.”...

Veselnitskaya (Russian Lawyer) and Aras Agalarov (Russian billionaire real estate developer) made at least two unsuccessful attempts after the election to meet with Trump representatives to convey similar information about Browder and the Magnitsky Act.749 On November 23, 2016, Kaveladze (Georgian-American business executive Vice President of Crocus Group real estate developer with Aras Agalov) emailed Goldstone about setting up another meeting “with T people” and sent a document bearing allegations similar to those conveyed on June 9.
Once Russia gets it's hooks into you they don't let go.

Rhona Graff, (click here) the woman once nicknamed "Trump's right hand" was one of many names to come up in Donald Trump Jr.'s emails about meetings with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.
At 64, Graff is one of Donald Trump's most loyal and longstanding personal assistants. Before Trump was elected president, she worked as the gatekeeper to Trump Tower for nearly thirty years.....
Such assistants add to the deniability of Trump in almost any circumstance. There is a reason why his personal attorney saw prison. In this case it is questionable at this point in "the read" as to whether Aras Agalarov ever got his message to Trump and his team.
751 Goldstone emailed the document to Rhona Graff (Trump Executive Assistant), saying that “Aras Agalarov has asked me to pass on this document in the hope it can be passed on to the appropriate team. If needed, a lawyer representing the case is in New York currently and happy to meet with any member of his transition team.”752 According to Goldstone, around January 2017, Kaveladze contacted him again to set up another meeting, but Goldstone did not make the request.753 The investigation did not identify evidence of the transition team following up.
Trump instructed attorneys to contact the people at the June 9, 2016 meeting. You'll excuse me, but, that is constructive knowledge of the meeting. The attorneys just didn't pull them out of a hat, they knew who attended that meeting and these were Trump's attorneys. That is constructive knowledge of the meeting. Not only that but, there is more to come. Why contact them at all?
Garten was all-knowing. He conducted Trump's business including covering any activities of Trump's wife and three older children. Why did Michael Cohen take the fall for Trump? Garten was clean? He has had to know about the women and the cover-up. No evidence tying him to all the off-color business of Donald John Trump?
Participants in the June 9, 2016 meeting began receiving inquiries from attorneys
representing the Trump Organization starting in approximately June 2017.754 On approximately
June 2, 2017, Goldstone spoke with Alan Garten, general counsel of the Trump Organization,
about his participation in the June 9 meeting.755 The same day, Goldstone emailed Veselnitskaya’s
name to Garten, identifying her as the “woman who was the attorney who spoke at the meeting
from Moscow.”756
Garten not only knew of the meeting he had details.
Everyone got in on this one. Alan Futerfas is the man on the left. He represented Jr. after he attended the meeting with Veselnitskaya.

Later in June 2017, Goldstone participated in a lengthier call with Garten and Alan Futerfas, outside counsel for the Trump Organization (and, subsequently, personal counsel for Trump Jr.).757 On June 27, 2017, Goldstone emailed Emin Agalarov with the subject “Trump attorneys” and stated that he was “interviewed by attorneys” about the June 9 meeting who were “concerned because it links Don Jr. to officials from Russia—which he has always denied meeting.”758 Goldstone stressed that he “did say at the time this was an awful idea and a terrible meeting.”759 Emin Agalarov sent a screenshot of the message to Kaveladze.76
One big happy family. I find it very odd that all these people are sharing their thoughts and information with each other as if their innocence depended on it. They had to keep their stories straight. Evidently, Goldstone was blaming himself for the failure of the meeting as well as having a meeting at all. They worked him over. It sounds so Trump. Everyone else's fault. They never accept responsibility for anything. I wonder if the responsibility for the children was based on a paternity test?
The June 9 meeting became public in July 2017.
The June 9 meeting was in 2016. It was a secret for a year. All those people nad no one talked about it but simply communicated over the net to secure their "common memory."
In a July 9, 2017 text message to Emin Agalarov, Goldstone wrote “I made sure I kept you and your father out of [t]his story,”761 and “[i]f contacted I can do a dance and keep you out of it.”762
All that time and they kept running around scared of being caught.
Goldstone added, “FBI now investigating,” and “I hope this favor was worth for your dad—it could blow up.”763 On July 12, 2017, Emin Agalarov complained to Kaveladze that his father, Aras, “never listens” to him and that their relationship with “mr T has been thrown down the drain.”764 The next month, Goldstone commented to Emin Agalarov about the volume of publicity the June 9 meeting had generated, stating that his “reputation [was] basically destroyed by this dumb meeting which your father insisted on even though Ike and Me told him would be bad news and not to do.”765 Goldstone added, “I am not able to respond out of courtesy to you and your father. So am painted as some mysterious link to Putin.”766
The poor Russians, they caught the "Trump lying flu."
After public reporting on the June 9 meeting began, representatives from the Trump Organization again reached out to participants. On July 10, 2017, Futerfas sent Goldstone an email with a proposed statement for Goldstone to issue, which read:
Mr. Futerfas was busying manufacturing an alternative reality to protect Jr.
As the person who arranged the meeting, I can definitively state that the statements I have read by Donald Trump Jr. are 100% accurate. The meeting was a complete waste of time and Don was never told Ms. Veselnitskaya’s name prior to the meeting. Ms. Veselnitskaya mostly talked about the Magnitsky Act and Russian adoption laws and the meeting lasted 20 to 30 minutes at most. There was never any follow up and nothing ever came of the meeting.767
No follow up? Amazing. It is a neat little story. (7/19/2017)
Grand Jury the statement drafted by Trump Organization representatives was Grand Jury 768 He proposed a different statement, asserting that he had been asked “by [his] client in Moscow – Emin Agalarov – to facilitate a meeting between a Russian attorney (Natalia Veselnitzkaya [sic]) and Donald Trump Jr. Grand Jury the statement drafted by Trump Organization representatives was 768 He proposed a different statement, asserting that he had been the lawyer had apparently stated that she had some information regarding funding to the DNC from Russia, which she believed Mr. Trump Jr. might find interesting.”769 Goldstone never released either statement.770
The lawyers focused on Goldstone as the instigator to the meeting. No one knew anyone and of course everyone from the Trump camp was a victim. Samochornov was to parrot the words of the Russian lawyer at the Trump Tower meeting, Veselnitskaya. His reward paid legal fees. Ya just never know about Russians. Oh, see that. Just one big misunderstanding. There was no quid pro quo. Was there? Samochornov would have his fees paid for as he told the truth to the FBI.

Veselnitskaya (Russian Lawyer) and Aras Agalarov (Russian billionaire real estate developer) made at least two unsuccessful attempts after the election to meet with Trump representatives to convey similar information about Browder and the Magnitsky Act.749 On November 23, 2016, Kaveladze (Georgian-American business executive Vice President of Crocus Group real estate developer with Aras Agalov) emailed Goldstone about setting up another meeting “with T people” and sent a document bearing allegations similar to those conveyed on June 9.
Once Russia gets it's hooks into you they don't let go.
750 Kaveladze followed up with Goldstone, stating that “Mr. A,” which Goldstone understood to mean Aras Agalarov, called to ask about the meeting.

Rhona Graff, (click here) the woman once nicknamed "Trump's right hand" was one of many names to come up in Donald Trump Jr.'s emails about meetings with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.
At 64, Graff is one of Donald Trump's most loyal and longstanding personal assistants. Before Trump was elected president, she worked as the gatekeeper to Trump Tower for nearly thirty years.....
Such assistants add to the deniability of Trump in almost any circumstance. There is a reason why his personal attorney saw prison. In this case it is questionable at this point in "the read" as to whether Aras Agalarov ever got his message to Trump and his team.
751 Goldstone emailed the document to Rhona Graff (Trump Executive Assistant), saying that “Aras Agalarov has asked me to pass on this document in the hope it can be passed on to the appropriate team. If needed, a lawyer representing the case is in New York currently and happy to meet with any member of his transition team.”752 According to Goldstone, around January 2017, Kaveladze contacted him again to set up another meeting, but Goldstone did not make the request.753 The investigation did not identify evidence of the transition team following up.
Trump instructed attorneys to contact the people at the June 9, 2016 meeting. You'll excuse me, but, that is constructive knowledge of the meeting. The attorneys just didn't pull them out of a hat, they knew who attended that meeting and these were Trump's attorneys. That is constructive knowledge of the meeting. Not only that but, there is more to come. Why contact them at all?

Later in June 2017, Goldstone participated in a lengthier call with Garten and Alan Futerfas, outside counsel for the Trump Organization (and, subsequently, personal counsel for Trump Jr.).757 On June 27, 2017, Goldstone emailed Emin Agalarov with the subject “Trump attorneys” and stated that he was “interviewed by attorneys” about the June 9 meeting who were “concerned because it links Don Jr. to officials from Russia—which he has always denied meeting.”758 Goldstone stressed that he “did say at the time this was an awful idea and a terrible meeting.”759 Emin Agalarov sent a screenshot of the message to Kaveladze.76
One big happy family. I find it very odd that all these people are sharing their thoughts and information with each other as if their innocence depended on it. They had to keep their stories straight. Evidently, Goldstone was blaming himself for the failure of the meeting as well as having a meeting at all. They worked him over. It sounds so Trump. Everyone else's fault. They never accept responsibility for anything. I wonder if the responsibility for the children was based on a paternity test?
The June 9 meeting became public in July 2017.
The June 9 meeting was in 2016. It was a secret for a year. All those people nad no one talked about it but simply communicated over the net to secure their "common memory."
In a July 9, 2017 text message to Emin Agalarov, Goldstone wrote “I made sure I kept you and your father out of [t]his story,”761 and “[i]f contacted I can do a dance and keep you out of it.”762
All that time and they kept running around scared of being caught.
Goldstone added, “FBI now investigating,” and “I hope this favor was worth for your dad—it could blow up.”763 On July 12, 2017, Emin Agalarov complained to Kaveladze that his father, Aras, “never listens” to him and that their relationship with “mr T has been thrown down the drain.”764 The next month, Goldstone commented to Emin Agalarov about the volume of publicity the June 9 meeting had generated, stating that his “reputation [was] basically destroyed by this dumb meeting which your father insisted on even though Ike and Me told him would be bad news and not to do.”765 Goldstone added, “I am not able to respond out of courtesy to you and your father. So am painted as some mysterious link to Putin.”766
The poor Russians, they caught the "Trump lying flu."
After public reporting on the June 9 meeting began, representatives from the Trump Organization again reached out to participants. On July 10, 2017, Futerfas sent Goldstone an email with a proposed statement for Goldstone to issue, which read:
Mr. Futerfas was busying manufacturing an alternative reality to protect Jr.
As the person who arranged the meeting, I can definitively state that the statements I have read by Donald Trump Jr. are 100% accurate. The meeting was a complete waste of time and Don was never told Ms. Veselnitskaya’s name prior to the meeting. Ms. Veselnitskaya mostly talked about the Magnitsky Act and Russian adoption laws and the meeting lasted 20 to 30 minutes at most. There was never any follow up and nothing ever came of the meeting.767
No follow up? Amazing. It is a neat little story. (7/19/2017)

The lawyers focused on Goldstone as the instigator to the meeting. No one knew anyone and of course everyone from the Trump camp was a victim. Samochornov was to parrot the words of the Russian lawyer at the Trump Tower meeting, Veselnitskaya. His reward paid legal fees. Ya just never know about Russians. The Trump administration (click here) has discussed whether to conduct the first U.S. nuclear test explosion since 1992 in a move that would have far-reaching consequences for relations with other nuclear powers and reverse a decades-long moratorium on such actions, said a senior administration official and two former officials familiar with the deliberations.
The matter came up at a meeting of senior officials representing the top national security agencies May 15, following accusations from administration officials that Russia and China are conducting low-yield nuclear tests — an assertion that has not been substantiated by publicly available evidence and that both countries have denied....
Where is the Russian nuclear sub? It doesn't make sense that Venezuela needs oil.

The Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani, (click here) warned on Saturday of retaliatory measures against the US if Washington causes problems for tankers carrying Iranian fuel to Venezuela.
“If our tankers in the Caribbean or anywhere in the world face trouble caused by the Americans, they [the US] will also be in trouble,” Rouhani said in a telephone conversation with the emir of Qatar, the semi-official news agency Mehr reported.
A flotilla of five tankers carrying Iranian fuel for gasoline-starved Venezuela is approaching the Caribbean, with the first expected to reach the country’s waters on Sunday, according to Refinitiv Eikon tracking data.
“Iran will never initiate a conflict,” Rouhani said. “We have always the legitimate right to defend our sovereignty and territorial integrity and to serve our national interests, and we hope that the Americans will not commit an error.“...
Venezuela does not need domestic oil. The USA has become a menace in many countries in the world. It has the absolute worse outbreak of COVID-19 in the world and it shows no end to it in states outside the Tri-State area.

Venezuela’s oil exports rose 9% in February (click here) from the previous month, as some buyers rushed to take cargoes ahead of the expiration of a wind-down period as part of new U.S. sanctions on PDVSA and its trade partners, data from the state-run firm and Refinitiv Eikon showed.
Washington imposed tough sanctions on PDVSA in 2019 and launched a strategy of “maximum pressure” this year to oust Venezuela’s President, Nicolas Maduro, extending sanctions to PDVSA’s main trade partner, Rosneft Trading, while making threats on other customers. Prior to sanctions, the United States was the biggest buyer of Venezuela’s oil.
Exports increased to 1.046 million barrels per day (bpd) last month from 960,000 bpd in January, according to the data. The U.S. Treasury gave buyers of Venezuelan oil until the end of May to wind down purchases.
PDVSA and its joint ventures exported 31 cargoes of crude and fuel last month. The country’s fuel imports decreased almost 8% in the same period to 163,000 bpd....

Trump is full of nonsense.
Governors are not opening their state's economy willy nilly. THEY HAVE STRATEGIC PLANS to minimize exposure to a deadly virus. The stores are not wide open with crowds of people shopping.
The exposure is limited. If the churches have plans to minimize exposure they will fit into the strategic plan.
Trump treats governors and church officials as if they are brainless morons that can't figure it out for themselves. These people are capable, learned, aware, loving, and have THE LATEST STRATEGIC INFORMATION FOR THEIR STATES. There isn't anything Trump can tell the governors or clergy they don't already know.
I have no worries regarding my 85-year-old mother. She is smart and her church leaders care about her a great deal.

Every Fine Wine & Good Spirit (click here) store in Cumberland and York counties made the cut for Friday’s latest reopening of the Pa. liquor store system.
In full, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board says, 50 locations will start allowing customers inside again starting at 9 a.m. today, and all of them are located in counties that moved to the yellow phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s reopening plan as of 12:01 a.m. today.
You can see locations and hours for stores in Cumberland and York in the photos below. Previously, only curbside pickup or delivery was allowed amid the coronavirus pandemic. There are now 283 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores open for limited in-person sales....
Churches are open. The Catholic Churches have to answer to the Pope. They are not allowed to endanger the health of their partitioners. This is my mother's church. She is 85 years old. This past Sunday was the first gathering of the congregation. Everyone 75 years old and older received a personal call asking them to stay at home even as the outdoor services were occurring. The older practitioners were told it is still unsafe to attend and to continue to watch the online church service.

Flint - The majority of public officials (click here) named in a consolidated federal class action lawsuit related to the Flint water crisis should remain in the case, judges determined.
A panel of three United States Sixth Court of Appeals judges on Friday upheld a lower court’s decision to not dismiss cases against public officials like Gov. Rick Snyder and former Flint emergency managers Gerald Ambrose and Darnell Earley.
The sole exception was former Treasurer Andy Dillon. The appeals court judges remanded his case back down to U.S. District Court where he could potentially be discharged from the class action suit, according to court records.
Judge Karen Nelson Moore wrote the opinion and was joined by Judge Gilbert S. Merritt. Judge Eric E. Murphy dissented in part, according to records. The opinion was published Friday evening....
...“Snyder’s alleged role in creating, failing to mitigate, and covering up the crisis plausibly demonstrates deliberate indifference,” Moore wrote in the opinion....
The order today ended the repeated court filings to end the litigation against the defendants. The court proceedings go forward from here.
This isn't over.

Flint - The majority of public officials (click here) named in a consolidated federal class action lawsuit related to the Flint water crisis should remain in the case, judges determined.
A panel of three United States Sixth Court of Appeals judges on Friday upheld a lower court’s decision to not dismiss cases against public officials like Gov. Rick Snyder and former Flint emergency managers Gerald Ambrose and Darnell Earley.
The sole exception was former Treasurer Andy Dillon. The appeals court judges remanded his case back down to U.S. District Court where he could potentially be discharged from the class action suit, according to court records.
Judge Karen Nelson Moore wrote the opinion and was joined by Judge Gilbert S. Merritt. Judge Eric E. Murphy dissented in part, according to records. The opinion was published Friday evening....
...“Snyder’s alleged role in creating, failing to mitigate, and covering up the crisis plausibly demonstrates deliberate indifference,” Moore wrote in the opinion....
The order today ended the repeated court filings to end the litigation against the defendants. The court proceedings go forward from here.

No lie. Oops. Two friends in North Carolina stated they received their second deposit of the second $1200 stimulus. They are not getting unemployment. Both are retired.
They called to ask me if I got my second payment. Something is not correct. They each received $1200 delivered into their checking accounts from the USA government.
I can't help but wonder if Trump is doing his level best to suppress the unemployment funds to use as a slush fund for payments to states he needs in 2020 election.
They received their second $1200 deposit. I didn't receive a second $1200 deposit or check.
I think that is why he is pushing Americans back to work. He wants to hide payments to his favorite states so they can stay at home while other Americans in states that won't be sending their votes to Trump get sick and quite possibly die.
Nothing else makes sense to me. Of course it is a mistake, but, these folks can't afford to send it back. Once the money is gone it is gone. They knew it was coming, too. Something is not as it should be.
