Ted Cruz graduated high school from a Christian madrasa. No lie. He started high school at Faith West Academy. That proved to be less tenacious than Cruz preferred, so he transferred to the Second Baptist School of Houston.

This is what his first year university roommate stated about him.

..."I remember very specifically (click here) that he had a book in Spanish and the title was Was Karl Marx a Satanist? And I thought, who is this person?" Mazin says of Ted Cruz. “Even in 1988, he was politically extreme in a way that was surprising to me.”
By Mazin’s account and those of multiple members of Princeton’s class of 1992, the Ted Cruz who arrived as a college freshman in 1988 was nearly identical to the man who arrived in Washington as a freshman Republican senator in 2013: intelligent, confident, fixated on conservative political theory, and deeply polarizing.
“It was my distinct impression that Ted had nothing to learn from anyone else,” said Erik Leitch, who lived in Butler College with Cruz. Leitch said he remembers Cruz as someone who wanted to argue over anything or nothing, just for the exercise of arguing. “The only point of Ted talking to you was to convince you of the rightness of his views."
In addition to Mazin and Leitch, several fellow classmates who asked that their names not be used described the young Cruz with words like “abrasive,” "intense," “strident,” “crank,” and “arrogant." Four independently offered the word “creepy,” with some pointing to Cruz’s habit of donning a paisley bathrobe and walking to the opposite end of their dorm’s hallway where the female students lived....

Cruz started his college career at Princeton University. I'd bet real money he went there to change the status of the university to conservative. I am convinced there are Christian madrasa. He and Perry are statistics we can do without. They are twins. Seriously scarey. Dove tail this mess with "W". What is it with these conservatives that they love bloodshed so much? Revenge, too. "Smoking gun, Wanted dead or alive." Give me a break this is more than politics. This is extremism begun in their early school years.

Cruz was responsible for separating Homeland Security out of the fiscal year budget and now he hands it to Republican leadership to find a way out of this political nightmare. Cruz is playing politics with our national security. What kind of power is this? The Republicans have no leadership. They allow morons to carryout political agendas with the USA security. I don't why I am surprised because "W" did the same thing with the PDB.

Singling out Homeland Security is a joke. It is a joke that the Republicans can do that and get away with it as if they have extraordinary power over the Executive Branch. Secretary Johnson is going nuts trying to protect this country and it is nothing more than a joke.
