I think it is a great and empowering commercial.

One of the reasons Republicans win in Texas is because they are bullies. This ad by the Davis campaign is spot on in pointing to the characteristics that cause victimization of Texans.

The ad is about Tort Law and the way Texas Republicans use their power to insure their political cronies have every advantage to be million/billionaires while the majority of the state suffer and have their rights removed piece by piece.

State Senator Davis could follow up the ad with a legislative effort of her own to return tort law back to where it should be to empower the Texas citizen.

The Texas Republicans don't win because they are the best in the state to lead, it is because of the money and horrendous harassment of the other candidate. At this point I am surprised Senator Davis is even allowed to breath enough air to speak regarding her positions and policies.

Conservatives (click here) attempting to step up their attacks on Texas gubernatorial nominee Wendy Davis over an ad they claim mocked her opponent’s disability ended up making offensive remarks themselves about the disabled, calling attendees at a Davis press conference “props,” and making fun of a speaker with cerebral palsy....

A human being is never a prop, but, the Texas Republican Party KNOWS they can get away with it. Senator Davis has been trying very hard to decode the political diatribe in Texas into plain English. Senator Davis is more talented than most of the recent governors of the State of Texas. She is a gifted attorney that wants to make a difference for her home state. Senator Davis deserves respect and there should be brevity to her words. She is important to women not only in Texas, but, across the country. She is willing to be their champion at a time when Republicans in Texas or otherwise want to defeat a woman's autonomy.

It would be better if her opponent actually respected women and their views that carry compassion and empowerment. I wish her great luck and if she is unsuccessful in winning the governorship her presence in American politics is intact with the respect she deserves.
