...Islamic State (click here) cannot be defeated without addressing “both sides of what is essentially at this point a nonexistent border” between Iraq and Syria, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Thursday...
General Dempsey went on to clarify from a journalist's question that ISIL (ISIS) can be defeated without crossing into Syria.
The autonomous regions of the former Iraq need to move before the United Nations to recognize their status as independent. I am sure they already have provincial authority that can easily move into being President and a cabinet.
General Dempsey points to the fact ISIS has ambitions to dominate the entire region and in that are allies to the USA. As of today, the countries in the region of ISIS activity are stable with secure borders.
It is obvious, isn't it? The Pentagon wants to invade the former Iraq. Right? Yeah. Very obvious.
I want to know why the Pentagon believes they can end hostilities in this region? Do they intend to kill everyone and start over? Is that the idea, because, we know FOR A FACT that when a militant group is destroyed it sprouts offspring. So, besides killing everyone and repopulating the areas with USA FRIENDLIES AND WALL STREET, what are their plans?
We have been here before, why is the Pentagon so very interested in killing with boots on the ground? It accomplishes NOTHING! It OBVIOUSLY accomplishes nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Kurds and Shea need to make their case for an independent nation and in the mean time they need allies that will help maintain their borders. When a USA Chairman of the Joint Chiefs sees moving borders and plans to execute strikes with that in mind, it is legitimate, legally binding and should be a priority of the people and other nations in the region.
There is no more Iraq. Get over it. It collapsed and isn't coming back.
The Kurds and Shea need to make their case before the United Nations.
It is just unfortunate the collapse of Iraq doesn't fit the Republican political dialogue in the USA.
When the Shia and Kurds make their arguments to the status of their nation and sovereign borders they need to call up the adversity they have suffered in the past decades under leadership other than their own people.
