Genesis is inclusive in the understanding of Earth's biotic content.

24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

The Bible at this point puts us all in the same mix. There is no understanding of mankind having the right to destroy, but, only to consume. The USA values it's benevolence and practices laws such as the Endangered Species Act. It is based in Biblical context. There is a clear understanding life on Earth is a harmony and not an exclusivity. After all ruling over the fish and the birds means there have to be fish and birds to rule over.

The Carrying Capacity of Earth has to be measured from a consumer's perspective not just that of the Elemental Earth or the capacity to provide life, it has to have an understanding of consumption of all that is Earth. In other words, what is the optimal consumption of Earth's by-products that will preserve life without exception?
