Third World Happiness is Low Expectations

Methane (CH4) is the second most prevalent greenhouse gas emitted in the United States from human activities....

...Globally, over 60% of total CH4 emissions come from human activities....

That hockey stick graph of CO2 that the Right Wing likes to play with and ridicule didn't happen just with CO2. The graph below is methane.

Little did scientists affiliated with global warming ever expect the USA to allow a greater emission of methane in lieu of carbon dioxide. But, low and behold here we go again.
 
After the industrial revolution there was an increase in global atmospheric methane concentrations. In the past 200 years methane concentrations have increased from approximately 620 to approximately 1700 ppb (figure 4). The radiative forcing of methane has also increased. (click here)
