Barrasso won't vote for Senator Hagel for DOD. Why? Because he advises POTUS and he might not advise him the way I want him to advise him.

Export the petroleum industry from the USA and you export war. ie: Iraq

I am sure his balls are made of it.

Wyoming U.S. Sen. Barrasso backs LNG export bill (click here)

U.S. Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming is backing a bill that would speed up the approval process needed to ship natural gas overseas.
Introduced Thursday by Barrasso and fellow Republican Sens. Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma and John Cornyn of Texas, the bill would fast-track exports of liquefied natural gas, or LNG, to North Atlantic Treaty Organization member nations and Japan.
Current law requires the secretary of energy to sign off on such exports to nations with which the U.S. has a free trade agreement, and open a comment period on such exports to countries without a free trade agreement....
All those men are war proponents.

...The bill would skip the public comment step for exports to NATO allies and Japan, and allow the energy secretary to skip the step for other countries if the secretaries of state and defense agree such a move would be in the national security interest of the U.S....

Let's skip the public interest in all this and if the CEOs say it is a go, then it is a go! Of course, in time of war, which these men would see happening all the time, the President could sign an executive order to facilitate shipments in an emergency. Otherwise, why by pass the public? Patriarchal dictatorship. Not democracy. No power within the people of the USA, simply the interests of the crony petroleum industry.

A Wyoming senator (click here) has reintroduced a bill that would double the length of grazing permits on millions of acres of public lands and instruct the Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service to issue routine permits more quickly....

There are wildlife issues, environmental issues, but, the tax issues should hit home to most Americans, especially those that object to subsidies.

Taxpayer Issues
According to the National Public Lands Grazing Campaign, the livestock industry is subsidized by federal and state funding through “below-market grazing fees, emergency feed programs, low-interest federal farm loans, and many other taxpayer-funded programs.” Taxpayer dollars are also used to address the environmental problems caused by ranching and the health issues created by the consumption of beef....

Now, why aren't the problems of the American farmer corrected to stop the need for these subsidies. They have under performing grazing lands and the extension of grazing time for millions of animals on public lands will result in overgrazing of public lands. When that occurs where are the farmers going to graze their livestock then?

Already, today, it is known the public grazing lands are already under performing adding little to nothing to an animals body weight for market. So, the idea an extension of grazing rights will improve the circumstances of these farmers is grossly misguided.

NCBA President J.D. Alexander said that the bill simply makes sense, as it proposes to codify language that has been included in federal appropriations bills for over a decade. That appropriations language, which has long enjoyed bipartisan support, allows the BLM and USFS to renew grazing permits under existing terms and conditions while the backlog of environmental analyses is being addressed.

I would think that statement from the NCBA (National Cattlemen's Beef Association) President is self explanatory.

Before grazing permits on public lands can be extended or even continue, the integrity of the grazing areas need to be assessed and vitality restored to these lands.
