Halley Barbour has no conscience as dead dolphins wash ashore and the threat of cancers and birth defects overshadow reality along the Gulf Coast.

..."I tell ya, in 2008, (click title to entry - thank you) $4 gasoline brought my state to its knees before Wall Street melted down,” Barbour said, “and we've blown through $3 a gallon on our way to $4, and it reminds me of what the Secretary of Energy said in 2008, Secretary [Steven] Chu, then Dr. Chu, said what we really need in the United States to get the cost of gasoline up to where it is in Europe $8 or $9 a gallon. We don't need that where I am.”...

What Barbour is saying is, "Drill Here, Drill Now." and "Drill, Babe, Drill."

If the mannequin suit fits, wear it.

When Barbour or any other perspective candidates makes these outrageous and inflammatory statements he needs to back it up with 'the facts' regarding the 'threat' to his proposals to the people of his state and how THAT will drive up health care costs across the board.

Oh, wait.  BP will pay for it so it's okay if people die and children are deformed.  Right.

And pay for his campaign, too.  Good deal.
