Hail that accompanied the tornado

May 18, 2006.

Dayton, Ohio.

Most notable is the substantial hail that accumulated around the tires of the cars where the hail deflected off the bodies of the cars on to the ground. The empty space where the hail does not present itself was the place where a car was parked.

Recently, while in town and crossing at a traffic light I noted a car waiting for the light to change green. It has pellet marks all over the body. It was completely obvious this car was caught in a hail storm as each 'ding' was completely round with radiating impression around it from impact. The only other explanaiton could be a gang of mischievous eight year olds after a marble tournament.
