One has to wonder if Tom Bossert was simply finished with work or just doing a really lousy job while completely distracted from securing the homeland.

President Trump needs to decide who he trusts within the US Senate to assist with national security recommendations, including Homeland Security. I am sure Senator McCain and those on the intelligence committee such as Senator Feinstein (for a bipartisan dialogue) would be more than willing to suggest nominees.

President Donald Trump (click here) reorganized his National Security Council on Wednesday, removing his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, and downgrading the role of his Homeland Security Adviser, Tom Bossert, according to a person familiar with the decision and a regulatory filing....

While loyalists are comforting they don't have the best perspective if simply trying to please constituents. I am confident Jared Kushner has his hands full. There is always Governor Chris Christy for any cabinet position.
