$1 millon bond. I assume he states he is not guilty.

A 17 year old man has family. Where is his family. I don't care if he is an uncle twice removed on his mother's side. There is a family somewhere.

Police in Austin (click here) have arrested a 17-year-old homeless teenager and accused him of murdering a female freshman at the University of Texas. Officials announced on the morning of April 8 that Meechaiel Criner had been taken into custody and accused of killing Haruka Weiser on April 3. The arrest came one day after Weiser had been identified as the person who was found dead at the school in Austin on April 5.
Weiser was first reported missing on April 4, having not been seen since April 3, two days before her body was found in the Waller Creek area of the University of Texas. The area is close to the school’s alumni center....

That video is it? The body was found two days after she disappeared. Her body was found on campus. And the man with a bicycle is the suspect. 48 hours is a long time. The evidence should be interesting.

Waller Creek (click here) is a thin, urban riparian ecosystem that meanders from the northern part of Austin southward through UT campus and along the eastern edge of the downtown area before it meets Lady Bird Lake. The Waller Creek Conservancy, in a unique public-private partnership with the City of Austin, acts as the steward of Waller Creek by playing a vital role in the preservation, redevelopment and maintenance of the creek’s surrounding parks, nearby businesses, adjoining neighborhoods and community at large.

I've read three articles so far and didn't see one mention of cause of death. Where did she live? Was she on her way to home or school? No one saw her along that area?
